Hello everybody! Thank you for your patience! You guys are awesome.

Sorry for not updating and keeping my New Year's Resolution (who even does those?) but I really do hope this chapter is up to par with what I normally right. I'm juggling three stories here plus two MLP Fic's on Fimfiction, so in turns of writing I kinda have to prioritize. But I digress. One again, thank you for your patience.

Thank you and enjoy! And thank you Saddas74 for beta-ing!

Another 'late' meeting with Lord Aizen…Szayelaporro Granz was being summoned by the former Captain once more, but this time only to report about his findings. *sigh* I hope this doesn't take away from me analyzing that reiatsu.

Entering the veritable throne room, Aizen once again sitting on his chair. Only this time he did not bother to spin it around and face Szayelaporro.

"What do you have to report?" Aizen's voice cut through the air making the tension level rise slightly.

"Well, the Hollows did manage to find the huge spike…" Szayelaporro put finger to chin, knowing full well that Lord Aizen couldn't see him. "Except they were cut down a few moments later"

This got Aizen's attention. Turning his chair 90 degrees to the right so he could look at his 8th subordinate through his peripheral vision. "Were they cut down by the person who had that large amount of reiatsu?"

Lowing his hands away from his face the 8thespada spoke as calmly as possible. "No sir. They were not cut down by her- at least what I can assume is a young woman's zanpakuto."

Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, Aizen remembered back to his days as a Captain of the Gotei 13. Halkeginia was a closely guarded secret, only the captains knowing of its existence. But if one did enough digging- or more accurately known as espionage- one could learn more. Like the fact that a Substitute Shinigami is present in that world.

"Can you describe what the person with the abnormally large reiryoku?"

"The subject is female, height is about four foot nine. I can't put an accurate age because of her small stature-

"Ah-choo!"

As Louise was being lead to the Headmaster's office in order to discuss the appearance of Foquet the Crumbling dirt, she couldn't help but sneeze for some reason.

Professor Colbert turned to Louise with a look of concern. "Are you alright Miss Valliere? Are you feeling ill?"

"No, no. I'm fine." Louise was lying through her teeth. She knew why exactly why she sneezed. And when I find the peasant that dared to make fun of my height, they will suffer the consequences!

"But noticeable features are pink irises and strawberry blonde hair."

"… Strawberry blonde you say?"

"Yes sir."

Even though Aizen had the same look he had, Granz thought that for a split second he had a predatory grin. "Thank you for this information Szayalporro, you are dismissed."

Bowing once, the Espada number 8 made a hasty retreat from where Aizen was still sitting and closing the doors.

Once the former Captain of Squad Five heard the audible thud of the door closing, he began plan out how exactly he would go about this. If he's to rash then he'll never be able to touch her. So the careful approach will have to be taken but it will take time. Strawberry blonde hair… So I guess there is more than one being capable of manifesting a zanpakuto.

The Next Day

After the attack on the school, all the staff- including Louise, Kirche and Tabitha- were corralled into the Headmaster's office. Everyone was extremely tense especially the staff, considering that Headmaster Osmond specifically requested an increase in security.

Looking around the room, Louise unconsciously tightened her grip on her zanpakuto. All she did was try and stop Foquet but she didn't think that she would get into trouble.

Kirche apparently sensing that Louise was uneasy, put her hand on her shoulder, causing the pinkette to look up at her rival… with a reassuring smile that everything is going to be ok?

Seriously, whatever happened to the old Kirche? Though Louise felt comforted, it wasn't until Tabitha tapped her with the crook of her staff and gave her a nod that she felt calmer.

Professor Colbert watched with a small smile on his face. Thanking Brimir that Louise has finally ended up with friends.

Clearing his throat to get everyone's attention Osmond, looked around at the assorted staff and three students. Closing his eyes and releasing a breath, he look at Miss Longueville nodding once, before she cast a silencing spell on the room.

"As you all know, we were attacked by Foquet the Crumbling Dirt. While this is indeed a misfortune, it's even worse that it happened while the Princess herself was here." Standing up and taking his cane in hand, he lifted it up and smashed it onto the ground with an audible bang, making everyone cringe and flinch at the noise. "This is unacceptable!"

Looking over all the gathered body he saw that many were shaking in their boots. Everyone knows that despite his age, Osmond can fight Karin "The Heavy Wind" to a stalemate. Though Osmond knew that he would ultimately lose, what with his old age but he can beat Karin Valliere in a game of wits, wisdom and intellect.

In fact, it was because of those traits that he became headmaster of the Tristainian Academy of Magic. Though he often says that this will be his last year because he doesn't want to deal with the parents of some brat that wasn't being treated like a king.

Sitting back down in his chair, he gave a nod to Miss Longueville to bring over the Academy's inventory list of the vault. Scanning it over once then setting it down on his desk, his right index finger and thumb to smooth out the skin above his brows to reduce wrinkles.

"Apparently the item that was stolen was none other than the Staff of Destruction." Speaking in an exhausted tone. Setting both hands down on the desk and interlocking his fingers, he looked at each staff member. "Now… you all know of the bounty on Foquets head but the more important issue is retrieving the Staff." Taking a moment to collect his thoughts he continued. "Since the Staff of Destruction was in our vault, it will be the Academy's responsibility to retrieve it."

All the staff members paled at the thought of going up against a professional thief. A thief that was able to get into the academy, summon a golem and have said golem punch through a wall. So needless to say that not many people volunteered.

Old man Osmond was beginning to look desperate. "Come now, surely one of you would like the honour and glory of taking this thief into custody?"

When no staff raised their hands, Louise took a step forward, setting the pummel of her naginata with a thump. "I will go and bring Foquet to justice!"

All the staff members raised their eyebrows at this statement. Colbert and Osmond were the two that were most shocked about this. Even though Louise had a very powerful familiar that she referred to as a Zanpakuto, it was still a gamble. Though with her high energy level, she could do it.

"Ara, if Louise is going then I guess I might as well go." Kirche then stepped forward herself and looked down at Louise with a smug grin, while Louise just glared at her. "And besides…" Kirche then leaned down and whispered in her ear. "I don't want such a pretty body to get damaged."

Blushing furiously Louise couldn't believe what she just heard. Her only way to keep some semblance of sanity was to repeat; Kirche doesn't love me, Kirche doesn't love me… over and over again.

Tabitha also stepped forward. "I will go too."

The green haired secretary stepped forward herself. "I will accompany them. I've received some intel and I know where she is hiding."

Looking over the four Osmond felt confident about this. "So be it. You four will go and retrieve the Staff of Destruction. And if the opportunity presents itself, capture Foquet…

"Dismissed!"

(end scene)

After the meeting ended, Louise, Tabitha, Kirche and Loungville left the office and began to descend the unnecessary long staircase.

"Once we reach the bottom of the stairs, you each have twenty minutes to go and collect what you might need." The secretary then looked over her shoulder, "and then we will reconvene at the main gate and leave. Is that understood?"

"Understood" was the simultaneous reply from the three young women.

Once they reached the bottom of the stairs, they each took off in their own separate directions… If you consider the fact that Miss Longueville went towards the main gate and Kirche, Tabitha and Louise went to their dorms which happened to be in the same wing and level as each other separate.

"So why exactly did you volunteer Louise?" Kirche decided to end the silence that was hanging between them. She had enough of that with Tabitha and she actually wanted to have a conversation.

Louise puffed out her chest just a bit. "Because it looks like my zanpakuto is the only thing capable of taking down her golem." Louise then flipped her hair with her right hand. "So it makes sense to send someone capable of doing the job."

Kirche covered her hand with her mouth, but not before she released a cute little giggle. It's cute that she thinks she's so important. Dropping her hand from her mouth she continued to stare at Louise. I wonder if she realises that the professors could also perform such a feat?

"No."

Louise then looked over at Tabitha, giving her a questioning look. "What do you mean by no?"

"What she means Louise," Kirche then nodded her head towards Tabitha, "that any mage Triangle or Square class also could've performed the same feat." Using her hands to push her hair behind her shoulders she continued. "Perhaps you forget, but both Tabitha and I are Triangle class mages."

Louise knew that it shouldn't bother her. She knew that what they said was the truth… but it still hurt. She was lucky that the eye-patch was on, it was all she needed to do was cover her left eye to hide her tears and run.

The red-head and the bluenette both stopped. They didn't go after her and they didn't try to shout at her. Instead, Tabitha closed her book and tapped Kirche on her right shoulder.

Looking at her diminutive friend, she lowered herself until they were eye level. "What is it Tabitha?"

Raising her staff, Tabitha gave a soft little thump on Kirche's head, making her bob slightly with her eyes wide.

"Mean."

Standing up to her full height, the busty read-head put both of her arms on top of her head and sniffled… once, twice… three times. Gained some comical tears before, "Tabitha!"Giving Tabitha a massive bear hug, and smothering her between her breasts!

"Oh Tabitha! What have I ever done to you to deserve such treatment?!" She then began nuzzling the top of her head while crying faux tears.

Giving a mental sigh, Tabitha used her free hand to reach around Kirche and began to pat her on the back in a "there, there" type of manner, knowing it will be a while before she calmed down.

(end scene)

Louise ran into her room and slammed the door with a very loud thud and then dove straight for her bed, crying to her hearts content.

*sniffle* I can't do anything. *sniffle, sniffle sob* Even though I this power thanks to my Zanpakuto, I'm still just a Zero. A worthless, good for nothing Zero!

*knock knock knock*

Wiping her nose with her left sleeve, Louise removed her head from her pillow. "Go away Kirche!"

"…Actually Miss Louise. It's me, Siesta."

Getting up from the queen sized bed, wiping any excess moisture from her face Louise opened the door for Siesta who stood there with a picnic basket.

"What do you need Siesta?" Louise spoke in a downtrodden voice.

Siesta put on her trademark smile and went to take a step forward, "Well I heard from some of the staff that you're going to catch Fo-QUET!" Only to trip on her own feet.

Louise went to try and grab her but, because of Siesta's assets it made her a bit more top heavy, causing her to fall a just slightly faster than the average person. Now Louise was already in motion to try and steady her, she opened her mouth to speak before Siesta crashed on top of her ending with them both going to the ground.

(end scene)

When Louise finally opened her eyes, the first thing to register in her mind was that someone was on top of her… And that someone had raven hair and had a maid's hairpiece on.

The second thing to register in her mind was a pressure on her lips… It felt… oddly pleasing in a way. And it made her feel hot, much like she was basking in the sun on a nice sunny beach.

So lost in her musings that Louise failed to notice that the owner of the pair of lips that were kissing hers open her eyes with a slight groan.

Siesta eyes, slowly opened much like curtains being drawn. Here vision was a little clouded much like sun blindness but when she finally managed to open them all the way…

"Kyah!" A very high pitched scream escaped from her.

Scrambling back with the strength she could muster, Siesta did not stop until she hit the door to the room. Her face a very deep shade of red and steam practically shooting out her ears.

"Miss Loi-Louise! I didn't-! I mean it was-!" She then shot up like a rocket, opened the door and ran like a bat out of hell. "Bye!Hopeyoulikethefood, seeyoulater!"

Louise only looked on with her eyes glazed over. Not really knowing how to react, her confused and disorientated brain managed to pick out the word "food" and "like".

But somehow despite the fog that was clouding her mind, the pinkette's brain remembered that she had to meet up with Kirche, Tabitha and Miss Longueville at the main entrance. So she allowed her body to run on auto-pilot while she tried to come to terms with what the hell just happened.

Let's see… I ran into my room…Louise picked up her zanpakuto. Siesta came by to drop off some food… the youngest Valliere sibling fetched her wand. Then she tripped, and I tried to catch her… she went to pick up the picnic basket. Then we… we…

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

(end scene)

A very shell-shocked Louise slowly made her way towards the Academy's main entrance. Her brain being fried from the "incident" with Siesta was running on autopilot. And her autopilot was telling her to go to the main gate.

After exiting the tower, she saw the secretary, Tabitha, Kirche, Miss Longueville, Flame and Sylhpid all were waiting for her. Each wondering when exactly the Valliere girl will show up.

"What is taking her so long, I said twenty minutes." The green haired woman growled. "Foquet may be gone by the time we get there. We cannot wait any longer. "

"Just give her a few more moments, Miss Longueville," Kirche rose her hands in a placating manner. "I'm sure she will be here soon, right Tabitha?"

The ever strong and silent girl just nodded her head in agreement. Though she couldn't help but be a little bit worried.

Casting her eyes hoping to see her crush. Not everyone knew this but Tabitha always had a bit of a crush on Louise. She couldn't help but identify with her in a way. Her uncle didn't love her, he only saw her as a tool. A tool that will hopefully outlive its purpose. And if Louise failed the Familiar Summoning Ritual, then she would've been used to help further her family's bloodline by being married off… to be nothing more than a tool herself…

Blinking a few time to clear away depressing thoughts, the little bluenette opened her book, hopefully to continue reading where she last left-

"Oh look, there's Louise!"

-Only to promptly shut it and stare at the approaching pinkette. Though something seemed off… and no it was not the delicious aroma coming from the picnic basket.

"Louise are you ok?" Kirche also noticed something was up with the Zero. "You look a little red."

"Siesta… food… fall…kiss."

Now, Kirche was a master of figuring out what Tabitha meant from her use of single word sentences. And she recalled Siesta was a maid that caused the privacy curtain to fall. So, this must've happened…

[Kirche's Fantasy]

Louise ran to her room. Crying all the way, hoping that nobody noticed her pitiful state.

Throwing the door open, she jumped onto her bed and continued to cry, hoping that no one could hear her wailing.

*knock knock knock*

But what's this? Someone is at the door? Raising her head above her pillow Louise called out.

"Who is it?" Her voice, meek and small, barely above a whisper cuts through the air.

"It's me… Siesta." Was the reply. "May I come in?"

Louise, got up from her bed, wiping her face off on the back of her sleeve makes her way over to the door. But when she opens it, she's shocked beyond belief.

"Siesta!" Her voice is quivering, her body is shaking, and she is absolutely stunned at what she sees. "What… what is…?"

Siesta stood in the doorway but it was by no way regulated maid uniform. This was a sexy maid outfit to the extreme.

"Hello Mistress," Siesta, then bowed very low, making her breasts that were barely contained within the black leather corset, more prominent with an extreme amount of cleavage show. "How may I be of service?"

"Siesta…" Louise could hear her voice shaking, partially out of fear and partially in anticipation. Licking her dry lips, she forced herself to continue. "What are you-?"

Righting herself, she looked at with lustful eyes. "I heard that you're going to catch Foquet and I came by to deliver some food." She gestured to the picnic basket but came up with a wicked idea. She began to lean forward until she could whisper in her ear. "But if you want, we can skip right to desert."

This caused Louise to fall down flat on her butt. Her breath was shallow, her body trembling from the sheer shock to her system.

"Siesta… we can't." Though it pained Louise, she knew she shouldn't. This was wrong. She had to prepare, to get ready. But Siesta was looking so tempting. "I need to-"

Entering the rom, Siesta then her right index finger on her mouth effectively shushing her. "You don't 'need to' anything…" Letting the finger trail down until her hand waseffectively cupping Louise's crotch, her eyes never once leaving Louise. "Just let me. I am supposed to 'service' you after all."

Putting Louise on the bed, Siesta turned around and set the picnic basket on the floor, she could bend all the way over, so that her extremely short skirt would reveal it all to Louise. If one looked closely, they could see her wet, soaked in anticipation.

Straightening out, with Louise's face positively red from all the blood rushing to her head. With Louise resting on the bed, Siesta kneels down and begins to worship Louise's stocking covered feet. Kissing, licking and sucking at her feet, Louise could feel her panties getting soaked.

Louise crosses her right leg over her left, Siesta takes this as a sign to start heading up. Trailing kisses along the way until she arrives at her thighs. Louise pulled up her skirt, giving Siesta a picturesque view of her pantie covered maidenhood. Spreading Louise's legs, to allow for easier access, she began to lean forwards, bringing her head closer… and closer… and closer, until she reaches out to move the thoroughly soaked undergarment out of the way so she could-

*Wak!*

[Fantasy End]

Rubbing the top of her head, Kirche looked to see who hit her and low and behold it was Tabitha. Standing right beside her with her book and staff in hand, same blank stare on her face.

The two just stood there for who knows how long, before Tabitha looks up at Kirche.

"Leaving."

Nodding her head in acknowledgement they both made their way towards the cart that Miss Longueville procured for this little excursion. Still, looking around to see if anybody was looking, Kirche subtly rubbed the front of her skirt, and low and behold it was a bit wet but it would be difficult to tell because of the color. I need to be careful about when and where I'm having one of my fantasies.

(end scene)

The ride to where Miss Longueville said Foquet the Crumbling Dirt was hiding was a boring three hours. The sun was high in the sky by the time they arrived at the abandoned cabin. Though they did learn a bit more about each other. Apparently, Miss Longueville was once a noble but lost her status, but that was neither here nor there.

Just as the trees were starting to get denser, the green haired secretary told everyone to get off. Flame jumped of the wagon with Kirche who gave a helping hand to Louise and Tabitha because of their shorter stature. Sylphid patrolling the skies making sure they don't run into any trouble.

Taking the lead, the students and staff member made their way towards a clearing. Tabitha using the telepathic link between Familiars and Masters wordlessly called her Wind Dragon to continue the journey on foot so they wouldn't be spotted.

Hiding in some bushes, they all peaked out of their cover to see what they were up against.

"So is that the place?" Louise looked over to where their guide was.

"Yup. This is where my contact said that Foquet is hiding." Miss Longueville's voice barely above a whisper.

"Quiet."

"You're right Tabitha… I have a bad feeling about this."

Moving back into the cover, they all huddled around Miss Longueville to come up with a plan.

"So, this is the plan." The green-haired woman gestured to Kirche and Louise. "You two sneak around the back of the cabin and work your way to the front. Tabitha, provide cover for them and make your way to the front door.

"Also, Kirche, you may take Flame with you, but Tabitha keep Sylphid hidden and only call on her for back up."

Louise had extensive military training from both her Mother and Father and figured it sounded like a good plan. Although… "Miss Longueville?"

The secretary looked up at the heir to the Valliere family. "Yes Louise?"

"What exactly are you going to be doing?"

Miss Longueville then drew a circle of the ground, deciding to outline their plan. With a square showing the cabin, three X's representing the students and two V's for the familiars. "I will be checking the perimeter and scouting the area. Just to make sure that she—he doesn't escape."

Each student nodded their heads, with Miss Longueville grateful that they didn't catch her slip up.

(end scene)

The plan was executed perfectly, Louise along with Kirche and Flame snuck behind the cabin, stealthily made their way to the front where Tabitha caught up with them. Busted down the door, and grabbed the Staff of Destruction.

Hoisting the Staff of Destruction, Louise considered this to be a successful mission. Turning back to her… "comrades", she was smiling. "We got what we came for. So let's go."

Just as they were about to leave, Tabitha soon became extremely alert. Kirche also pulled out her wand and began t move around.

Louise just stared dumbly at the pair not knowing what was really going on.

"Uh, what are you two doing?"

"No birds."

Louise just didn't get it. What did birds have to do with anything? That doesn't make much sense.

Seeing her apparent confusion, Kirche decided to tell her. "Louise, no birds means that there is something out there. Something dangerous."

Now Louise looked afraid. Pulling out her wand and frantically looking around. "Do you know what's out there?"

Kirche looked up at the ceiling in contemplation. "Well, it could be a number of things. Like a wolf, a bear, an orc or goblin—"

*CRASH!*

The roof of the cabin was ripped clean off revealing a giant Earth Golem ready to smash them to pieces.

"—Or a golem."

Rearing it's right fist back, it was going to hit them with a significant amount of force.

"Run." But Tabitha's voice cut through them and they all made a beeline for the door and jumped out right as the golem destroyed the interior of the cabin.

All three Nobles turned around, wands at the ready. Flame was gathering… flames in his mouth while Syphlid picked up Tabitha and took to the skies.

This… Louise could not believe this. What was supposed to be a simple mission now turned into a fight for their very lives. This just got a lot more dangerous.

The Book of Mages, Chapter 6

"Hello. My name is Foquet the Crumbling Dirt, and I'm going to explain to you why some Nobles become disgraced."

Taking a familiar piece of chalk, she began to draw on the black board. "You see, Nobles can be disgraced through a number of reasons. Their family has been caught doing some shady business deals. Are found guilty of treason or do something to dishonor their house."

After writing the reasons Foquet looked a little sad at the end but just squashed those emotions down before returning her attention to… whoever she is speaking too. "But there are a few perks to being dishonoured.

"One is that you can still use magic, making robbing people especially easy, assassination jobs are easier to pull off because people often underestimate you. Plus you can use your wand to collect all the gold and effects from a single person, which reminds me…"

Foquet then looked to the left corner which had all the gold, silver, jewels and antiques she has stolen since she entered the Tristain Magic Academy. "What exactly am I going to do with all this stuff?"

Off in the distance one could hear a certain Headmaster screaming, "Foquet just done stole my pipe!"
