Vince rolled his eyes when he saw Venice sitting on his couch with Ricky, eating a bowl of fruit. It was the only thing in his apartment that didn't make her morning sickness act up. On the one hand, he felt guilty for it. But on the other, he was happy that the woman he pined over for the past seven years was admitting her feelings towards him and carrying his child. "So, what is the plan? You guys have been squirrely and Mitch needs to be taken care of before he has a chance to marry you."

"Well, I have my own special plan for the wedding. I have a handgun Mitch doesn't know about and he has never found it. I've never brought it out because I haven't wanted him to know that I had a gun." Venice stated before watching her younger brother start shooting at some alien character on the television. "I don't plan on killing him, but it will send a message."

Vince ran a hand down his face, shaking his head at her. "You are crazy. What have you two been so squirrely about though? What's your plan?"

"Well, our plan has been trying to get our parents back together." Ricky stated lounging in the recliner, playing with Vince's Xbox. He cursed the game quietly before starting his game over. "We don't really know how that's going, but they are spending more time together."

"Oh my God! Venice, why are you trying to get your parents back together? You are a grown woman." Vince chuckled before plopping down on the couch next to her, picking out one of the green grapes from the bowl she had.

Venice shrugged. "Yeah, a grown woman who is engaged to one guy who is abusive and pregnant with another man's baby. My life is really on track." She bit into a piece of watermelon, moaning softly at the flavor. "My parents are made for each other. They just need a little push."

Olivia panted as she rested against the wall, sitting on the counter in her bathroom. Elliot stood in front of her, breathing heavily, with his head dropped. His arms were holding him up against the counter. "El, what are we going to do? The kids are going to catch onto us sooner or later; they aren't that oblivious."

Elliot shook his head. "They haven't asked. Liv, you are overthinking this." He looked her in the eyes, searching them briefly before speaking again. "Our kids are smart, yes. But, they are too invested in their own agendas to realize what's going on with you and I."

"What is going on with us, El?" Olivia asked honestly, bringing up her foot to rest on the counter. If you had told her she'd be naked with her ex-husband talking about their relationship after sex, she would've called you crazy. But, here she was. The fact that she was condoning the behavior made her sick, but what they were doing felt so right and without him she went crazy with hormones. Ever since they started sleeping together again, her stamina and libido almost seemed to kick in after years of taking care of kids and being a soccer mom. After years of being tired, so tired, she was finally getting her energy back and using it to screw her ex-husband.

"What do you want to happen? I think I've made it clear that I want another shot. It's all up to you, Liv. I want more from you, but I can't get it if you won't let me in." Elliot whispered, his finger grazing over the skin on her knee.

Olivia closed her eyes. "I don't know if I can let you in." She opened her eyes to see the confusion and hurt in his. It broke her heart to also see the love for her in those blue orbs that she'd grown accustomed to seeing every day. "You hurt me when our marriage went south. You didn't even try to fight for me. You didn't sleep with one person once. You slept with a couple girls casually. I know I cheated too, but... it's just too complicated for us to be together. We will be forever tied together because of the kids. But, I don't know if we can ever be more than friends again without there being collateral damage."

Elliot took her words in as they came, realizing that the pain was still raw for both of them. Even now, it made his temper flare just thinking of Olivia with another man. He remembered the day he found out she had been with her trainer. He went down to the gym and beat up the guy in front of the whole weight section. One of the other trainers came to their friend's aid before Elliot could really hurt him. "All I'm asking is for you to try. If you want to think about it, that's fine. But, I want a chance. We never gave ourselves a second chance. We just sort of let things happen and then one thing led to another and here we are now."

Olivia knew he was right. The way things ended between them... it was like it didn't really end. They were just distant for a while. No talking, no fighting, no contact at all. The only time they heard from each other was through reports from the lawyers. Even then, their words were turned into legal terms that made the relationship lose value and heart. The first time they talked after their argument about the affairs was at the divorce settlement hearing. There, he already had wife number two bagged up even though she was only a girlfriend at the hearing. The world just sort of took them from there, leaving them with the unanswered questions and unspoken reasons the other didn't know.

"I'll think about it." Olivia breathed with a nod, making him a promise. He smiled softly at her before pecking her lips. Her stomach twisted into that familiar, delicious knot that was making more frequent appearances these days. "Do you have to go back to the office?"

"No, I took the afternoon off thinking that we could catch up from the weekend." Elliot stated with a smirk, referring to their son's basketball tournament that lasted the entire weekend.

Olivia grinned and took a hold of him in her hand, letting out a throaty chuckle when he groaned at the contact. His chest started rising and falling faster, his breathing getting shallower. The fact that she could made him come unglued this fast stroked her ego more than anything at that point. But, she wanted more than just an ego stroke. "Good, I won't have to wait for another round then."

Please review! I know it's short, but I promise to make it up to guys later in the story! Love you guys!
