Yeah yeah I know what I said, shut up! lol Sorry for yet another extremely long update. It's been stressful with Work, School, and the Such. My summer is just jam packed with fun things to do and exciting things that could possibly get me killed. Like jumping off a 60ft bridge into an ice cold river! And watching the new Mad Max movie... okay fine, that was just today- but more things to come! Like going to Utah to chill with da homies- by whom I mean my dad and assorted family lol Whelp, not gonna hold you further.

READ ON!

Jason and Vanitas got to Paupu Palace early, mostly because Vanitas just didn't feel like waiting for a table. Some people might be into that, but he was not one of them. While They waited for things to pick up, they decided to order. however, Jason was flirting with the waitress, which was pissing Van off. I'm fucking starving! he growled in his head. "Hey!" he finally yelled at her, making her jump out of her skin.

She turned to him, her face pale and with a more than reasonable fearful expression on it, "Y-yes sir?"

"I'm fucking hungry! So do you damn job and get my fucking food!" he topped the sentence off with his signature glare, causing the girl to sprint to the kitchen. The dark haired teen laughed in his usual psychotic tone, before noticing the sour look on Jason's face, "What?"

"I was six words away from her phone number," Jason frowned, gesturing with his hand how close he was.

"And?" Van scoffed, "I'm hungry- get it later." Jason sighed, rolling his eyes, "You and your stomach."

"Oh, like you can talk! You always order more than I do!" he countered.

"I do no-" Jason's stomach growled loudly, before he looked down at himself, glaring, "You stay outta this!"

The two laughed, drawing the attention of the whole restaurant from how loud they were being. "WHAT?!" they glared in opposite directions, the patrons returning to whatever it was they were doing before they started staring. Vanitas tapped his foot impatiently, before looking up, his face falling as I noticed who had just walked in, "God damnit..."

"What?" the ravenette blinked.

"Van?" the brunette said in shock, before hurrying over to said teen, who groaned in disgust, "What are you doing here?"

"Getting food," he glared, "The fucks it look like?"

"Oh, right," Sora grinned sheepishly. That was something that pissed Van off- how almost nothing he could do fazed his little brother. He just wanted to rip that smile off his face and stomp it into the mud. "Mind if we sit with you?"

We?, Van blinked, noticing that Sora was with his friends. He glared at them, before turning the glare to his brother, "No."

"Thanks!" Sora's grin grew, pulling out the chair next to him.

Vanitas slammed his foot down on the seat of the chair, halting it, "No. Fucking. Way." His brother looked up at me with sad, blue puppy dog eyes, but that just made his glare harden.

Sora finally gave up and sighed, before sitting at the table to the left of theirs. The others looked to Sora, asking if he was alright, and why he'd want to sit with such a jerk when they were trying to have fun tonight. Which Vanitas didn't mind. He knew he a dick. Sora didn't really have an answer that wasn't cheesy, saying how he'd missed his big brother the past few years. In all honesty, he just wanted to spend time with him- Vanitas knew that. The only times he got to see him the past few years were when the elder teen was locked in a cell, since the things he did took him out of the juvenile bracket. Now that he's free and on parole, Sora thought he'd be able to hung out with him like they use to when they were kids. But they weren't not kids anymore, and Vanitas felt he needs to get that through his head. The dark haired teen noticed him leave with that silver haired pansy, Riku. Jason was staring at him with a smirk, when he turned back to him, "What?"

"Ya wanna do it?" he asked, wiggling his eyebrows at him.

Van stared at him in disgust, "Dude, I'm not gay!"

"Not that, ya creep- besides, you're definitely not my type!" Jason laughed, before pointing to the stage, "It's Friday, remember?"

"So?" Van said, a bit less irritated as the waitress came back, with food this time. He grabbed the massive burger he ordered, taking a huge bite. The juicy taste of the meat is always the first thing you taste. The crisp crunch of lettuce making your mouth water, while the sauces taunt your taste buds. And the tang of the cheese, adding just the right texture to compliment the tender beef and fluffy bread... it was indeed, a burger from the heavens...

"So," Jason started, "Paupu does an open-mic thing on Fridays." He grabbed his spoon and fork, digging into his pasta, rolling the noodles on the spoon with his fork, like he was some kinda douchey snob, "Could be an awesome way to score numbers."

"Jay, if I want someone's number, all I have to do is put the charms on and tell them to hand it over," Vanitas smirked. The two of them laughing at the reasoning, before he noticed a tint of blond by the door. Putting his food down as they laughed, looking over and spotting a familiar blond. He narrowed his eyes to get a better look at her. She was wearing a black frilly mini-skirt, a white tank top to hug whatever curves she thought she had. Her hair was pulled over her right shoulder, but that's not what got him. Those baby blue eyes he remember staring at this morning were there, staring back at him with more fear than before. Vanitas smirked, liking the sight he was seeing. The dark-haired teen then licked his lip- not to be suggestive, but because there was a drop of burger juice on his lip and it was bothering him. Things only got better when she stumbled away, falling on her ass, making him laugh. "Y'know what Jay, sign us up."

"Waaq?" Jason blinked, before remembering to swallow his food. He wiped his mouth with a napkin, like the queer he was, before saying, "You actually wanna sing? Like... Legit?"

"Well, I've been out for what- two days?" Van cackled, "All I've done is drink, bang, and go to school, so why not."

Jason looked him over carefully, eyeing him like he was some suspicious ex-girlfriend that wanted to be friends again. It was then that he noticed the four walking in, frowning at his best friend.

"What?"

"I see what this is," he stated, waving a finger at him accusingly, "You're tryin' to impress your little bro's girl."

Vanitas glowered at him instantly, "Are you fuckin' kiddin' me, dude?! You're the one that said I need to get out more- and here I am."

He stared at him longer, trying to judge if I was serious or not. "Alright," he nodded, narrowing his eyes, "I'll tell ya what, if you can go the rest of the school year sayin' yes to every single person to ask if they can hang, or if you wanna go do somethin' with them-"

"What?!" Van's eyes widening.

"-no matter how gay!" Jason added, "I will be your bitch for the rest of high school... And College."

"No fuckin'-" he immediately exclaimed in refusal, before Jason cut him off.

"AND..." he paused for dramatic effect, waiting for Van to glare at him to continue, "I will get you off Parole."

Vanitas raised an eyebrow, admittedly that was a pretty sweet deal, but how could he be sure it's legit? Jason was known for being double-edged. He wasn't two-faced, because despite current circumstances, Jason's always had Vanitas' back- so he know Jason would never turn him over to the cops. Time to milk this deal of his, Van thought to himself, seeing if he'll back up his talk. "Tonight."

The ravenette shrugged, pulling out his cell phone and dialing a number, his left hand outstretched to Vanitas.

Holy shit, he's legit!, Van say to himself as he shake his hand.

As if by clockwork, a voice spoke on the phone for him. "Hey, Dev, it's me!... Yeah, everythin's good- just need a job done is all. Buddy's on parole, wanna get'em off and clear... uhuh...uhuh... That's fine... The usual then? You got it.. Yup, thanks, bud." He hung up the phone, replacing in his pocket as he spoke, "That was my homie, Devon. He's gonna set you up with a parole officer that does not exist, pay off your former probe, your worker, etc.- basically, so long as you don't get arrested again, you're free."

The dark-haired teen could not come up with the words to speak. He'd actually done it? "But... how... huh?"

"What, d'you forget who I am?" he smirked, leaning back in his chair, grabbing the rear of a passing waitress, causing her to jump, looking at him with a blush, "We're gonna need a round of shots here."

"Y-yes sir," she blushed, "Anything else?"

He looked over to Van questioningly as he took another bite of my food, "Another of these burgers- it's godly! And put more of that sauce stuff on it- and the fries too."

The waitress nodded and hurried off with their order.

"You are such a fat ass," Jason sighed, shaking his head at him.

"Piss off," he rolled his eyes, finishing off the burger in his hand.

"Hey, Van?" someone said tapping said teen's back, his tone fearful. He knew right away it was the runt.

"What, Sora?" Vanitas glanced back at the brunette.

"You think... maybe... uh..."

"Spit it out!" he growled impatiently.

"Can you try to not start anything?" he asked, his cerulean eyes full of hope, "Kairi thinks you might've scared her sister earlier, and doesn't want you to do anything to make things worse."

"Excuse me-" an angered Vanitas started, before Jason cut him off.

"He'll be glad to," the ravenette grinned, "In fact, why don't you and you're friends pull up the table and join us?"

"Really?" the brunette grinned, looking from Jason to his brother.

Vanitas glared at Jason, who was giving him a challenging smirk, probably testing to see if he was actually going to take his deal. Van gritted his teeth, fists clenched tightly as his glare hardened, before sighing heavily, "Fine, whatever..."

"Thanks Van!" He hugged his brother from behind, his body tensing, until he let go, running off to wherever.

He turned to glare at Jason, rolling his amber-green eyes at his friend, "Think of this as the start of our deal. Just a couple more months left to go."

"Wonderful," Van sighed. He could not believe he had to do whatever people asked for an entire school year. It was such bullshit!

It only took a moment for Sora to come back and tell his friends. They seemed a little weary of Vanitas, understandably of course, but Jason seemed to put their worries to rest. A couple guys picked up their table and moved it over to theirs, forcing Van to get up and move his seat. He moved his seat across from Jason, who was nodding in approval. He sent the ravenette a 'This is all your fault' look, causing him to roll his eyes in amusement. A few of Sora's friends kept talking to Van, thinking he was Sora. It was irritating him. He kept having to tell them his name, that is, until Sora came back with that silver-haired guy and two girls.

"Hey Van, This is Kairi, my girlfriend," he said with Van's back to him, his voice sounding proud.

The older brother glanced up at him, before switching his gaze to Jason. "You want me to play nice? Fine," he whispered, before standing up, putting on a sexy smirk. He looked over the two, the blond from earlier, and that girl- whom he was assuming is her twin, since they look alike- she hid behind. Vanitas trained his eyes on the red-head, taking her hand in his as he kissed it gently, "Names Vanitas. Kairi, huh? That's a beautiful name."

"T-thank you," she giggled, moving a few strands of hair behind her ear as she blushed.

"Sorry, my brother's not so impressive," Vanitas smirked at the whining he got from Sora, "I'll have to make it up to you some how."

"You could always save me a dance," she suggested flirtatiously.

"Kairi!"

"What, it's just a dance," she blushed in embarrassment, remembering her boyfriend was right there and at her actions.

"It's a date," Van purred, lifting her chin up to him as he watched her swoon.

"Alright, break it up!" a fuming Sora got in between them, pushing us apart as he pouted.

"Calm down, Sora, just having a little fun," Van smirked at him, flicking his nose, "What's wrong, afraid you'll lose your girl to big brother?"

The table erupted in snickering and challenges.

"Please, the only thing I'm worried about, is her breaking you," Sora countered with a smirk, earning a few cheers from the girls.

"You sure? A night with me and she might not even remember your name- let alone walk straight," Vanitas' smirk widened as the guys at the table roared with laughter. He sent a wink to the Red-hair, causing her to blush more, before she looked at her sister giving her a disappointed look.

"Boys, boys," Jason chided as he stood up, "We both know it only takes five words from me to make a girl lose faith."

As if on cue, one of the girls scoffed, a brunette with different colored eyes. Jason swiveled over to her, pulling her to feet, one hand on the small of her back, the other caressing her cheek gently as he stared into her sky-blue and forest-green eyes, "Hello, Beautiful. How's your boyfriend?"

"What boyfriend?" She swooned, her head spinning as she stared into his amber-green eyes, completely mesmerized.

"Wow, that really was five words," Sora said in amazement, counting each word on his fingers.

"Yup," Vanitas nodded, before Jason and him took a seat. Sora sat next to his brother grinning, his girlfriend about to sit on the other side, before he pulled her to sit next to him, frowning at her still. Guess he forgot to mention my charms, Vanitas smirked. This left the only seat available for the blond to sit in, next to him. She looked uncomfortable and frightened, and to be honest, it was turning him on. A smirk found his lips and he was about to say something, before an announcer too the stage.

"Hey, how's everyone doing today?" He grinned as the crowd of people in the restaurant cheered for him, "Well, it won't be long now for the fun to start, so just sit back and relax a little longer. Sign ups are starting right now. Hope we got a good group of talented peeps that wanna show off!"

"So," Jason smirked as he leaned back in his seat, hands behind his head, "anyone got the balls to get up on stage?"

"You're kidding, right?" a blond male laughed, "The only people that go up on that stage are freaks and weirdos!"

"Wow, real nice, Tidus," the brunette from before scoffed, getting up and heading for the women's bathroom.

"Wait, Yuna- I was joking!" he tried to amend, but his words fell on deft ears.

"...So I take it, you've been on stage already," Jason inserted to break the silence, earning a couple giggles from the table.

"Whatever, it's not like these kid's got any talent anyways," Van rolled his eyes, his mouth watering at the sight of the burger that was placed in front of him, "Sweet, tender juiciness- fill my mouth." He took a big bite out of the burger, groaning in satisfaction.

"Geez, if my dick tastes that good, I should become a prostitute!" Jason smirked, laughing as Vantias started coughing up the bite he was trying to swallow. He stood up, dodging the punch Van swung at him, "Come on- put my meaty goodness down and lets go."

"Go where?" Sora asked, looking at Van as he stood up, wiping the sauce from his lips with a napkin.

"Shut it," he glared, following after Jason, "This is MAN stuff."

"Says the one that was just made the bitch," a voice said.

"You are so lucky he didn't hear you say that, Nami," Kairi giggled at the comment.

"Yeah, he'd have had you strung up, or something, ya," the orange haired friend said in his Jamaican accent.

"What are you guys talking about?" Namine blinked. Her friends looked at her as if she was messing with them, but played along, shaking their heads. She was about to ask them what they meant, when the lights dimmed.

"Alright everyone, it's that time now!" the announcer grinned, "Welcome again to Friday Night at Poupu Pallet and enjoy the show! Our first performer is... uh, the Sexy Stud." People cheered as the lights went out.

"Oh god, no," Xion covered her eyes.

"What's wrong sweetie?" Kairi asked her friend, rubbing her back, "Everything okay?"

"No," Xion shook her head, looking at the stage, "I think that's Jason."

"What?!" everyone went wide-eyed.

"Sexy Stud is what Jason calls himself sometimes," she blushed in embarrassment, the song Naughty Girls Need Love Too by Samantha Fox started playing as pink and purple strobe lights started going off, "Yeah, it's definitely Jason..."

The patrons watched with some form of curiosity, while others simply because it had to be funny.

Suddenly someone walked on stage, strutting about like he owned the play. Clad in a black leather thong, ass-less chaps, tassels, a leather 'Gimp' mask, and a pound of body glitter; he danced across the stage. Moves so fluid, so graceful, and so sexy- everyone was memorized. He knew they saw him in all his gloriousness. It was impossible not to. The music, the dance, the tease- it was enrapturing.

"Xion," Sora was the first to speak, unable to tear his eyes away from the stage, "I know we haven't known Jason all that long-"

"Not even a day," Riku added, stuck staring at the stage as well, wondering how this man could move so gracefully.

"But was he always that big?" the brunette asked.

"I don't know what's true anymore," the dark haired girl shivered.

Indeed, the man on stage was NOT Jason. It was in fact, a short big boned young man, his sweat adding an extra gleam to the glitter. Yes! Watch me dance! Today I shall break from my cocoon and emerge a magnificent butterfly!, the masked dancer cheered to himself. He was thrown off slightly from a suddenness in the beat, before something struck him in the back, sending him rolling stage right and out of sight.

"Wow! Did you see that guy?! He was like- PPBBBBBTT!" Jason- the actual Jason- had just kicked the Sexy Stud off stage and blew a raspberry, laughing his head off at what just happened. "Aaah, good times, good times," he chuckled, before clapping his hands, "Whelp, time to get the real show on- I'm Jason and this is my homie skillet biscuit, Van."

Vanitas walked on stage, the bridge of a guitar gripped tightly in his hand as he rested it on his shoulder. His shirt was tucked into his back pocket, the black tank top that clung to his body revealed the bulging muscles of his biceps more easily. He looked over at Jason, who was fixing himself up as if he was looking in an imaginary mirror, adjusting his coat and hair, before blowing a kiss. HE rolled his eyes at the display, putting the guitar down, before shoving his friend. The ravenette looked at him with a curious expression, before he asked, "So what are we doin' exactly?"

"Isn't it obvious?" he asked him, staff members rolling a drum set onto stage, "We're gonna play a few songs."

"What songs, exactly?" Van asked, more than a little annoyed.

"Hell if I know," Jason chuckled. He sees the look on his pal's face and pats him on the back, "Dude, relax! Music is the universal tool to gettin' into any girls pants."

"I thought that was five words?" he smirked teasingly.

"eh, details, who needs'em."

Vanitas rolled his eyes, chuckling, before he noticed the crowd getting restless, "Well you better hurry it up. I have a reputation to uphold."

"Funny, I have a rep to destroy!" Jason laughed, before prancing over to the mic, grabbing hold firmly as he lifted it off it's perch, "You guys ready for a real show?!"

The crowd of patrons cheer demandingly.

"Alright then, lets get started," Jason smirked, squaring his shoulders.

Vanitas took up a spot across the stage from him, the instrument resting against his stomach as he adjusted the strap. The tingle the ridges in the strings gave his fingertips was nostalgic. A small smile forms on his lips as he remembers the last time he held a guitar. Looking up at the sound of someone clearing their throat, he realizes everyone was waiting for him. Slightly embarrassed, he nods to Jason, signaling he was ready.

IT seemed like people were going to start rioting, when Jason's voice began to sing the lyrics, silencing them.

Hey-o here comes the danger up in this club

When we get started, man we ain't gonna stop

We gonna turn it out till it gets too hot

Everybody sing, Hey-O

Tell'em turn it up till they can't no more

Lets get this thing shakin' like a disco ball

This is your last warning, a courtesy call

The ravenette's voice was soft, yet seemed powerful enough to send a shiver down spines. He sung with as much grace as the Sexy Stud danced. Everyone was quiet as he started the song, even when the beat started to pick up- not getting into the music and dancing until Vanitas slammed into the chorus with am aggressive rift. He watched as they danced- which consisted of people grinding against each other and a small mosh pit forming in the front. He closed his eyes letting the music take him, going from a harmless tune to a raging melody and vise versa. The lyrics Jason sang pulsed through him, his head slowly swaying back and forth to the music, making sure he didn't accidentally mess up.

Unbeknownst to him, someone else was swaying...

Everyone had left the table to dance. Of course, it was the girls who forced the guys to dance with them, but they didn't seem to argue too much. This left a certain flaxen blond by herself at the table. Eyes closed, lips in a tease of a smile, blond trestles swaying as she absorbed the lyrics, thinking on the day's events. Maybe the song is right, Namine mused to herself, Maybe I can power through this- and everything will be alright tomorrow! After all, I trust Roxas. He'd never do anything to really hurt me. An image of Roxas and Selphie flashed through her mind, causing her to flinch. Her flaxen blond hair covered her face as she looked at her hands on her lap, head slowly swaying to the music.

A disheveled sigh left her lips, looking up through the cracks between locks of hair, watching everyone dance. Smiles gracing lips, hips swaying to the beat, eyes filled with emotions she'd yet to express herself. She looked at the stage, watching the raven haired singer scream lyrics, a massive grin on his face, enjoying the pulse of the bass and the rage in the crowd. Her gaze turned to the midnight haired guitarist. He'd seemed so angry, so foul. But on this stay, she saw nothing but a peace surrounding him. It was... different...

The song ended and the crowd booed. Cheers of more flooded the place as the ravenette laughed on stage. "You want more?!" he jeered, pointing the microphone at the crowd as cheers filled his ears, "Well then, how about our dear old guitarist over here play us somethin' sweet!"

Vanitas glared darkly at his companion, shaking his head defiantly.

"No?" Jason smirked, "Now that doesn't work for us, not does it everyone?!" His question was met with chanting. His smirk widened, outstretching the microphone to Vanitas.

His golden eyes brightened in fury, taking the guitar off as he snatched the mic from Jason, thrusting the guitar in his hands, speaking to him under the crowds noise. He watched as his friend nodded, going over to the bassist and drummer, speaking with them as Van took point. "SHUT UP!" he yelled into the mic, those by the speakers cringing away. He looked the crowd over, rolling his eyes as his brother forced his way to the front, eyes wide with surprise. "Fine," he conceded, "I'll give you a song. Wrote it myself while I was away." He glanced over to Jason, nodding as the room shook with cheering.

Jason began to strum the guitar, a soft tune filled the thick air, lulling everyone to quiet down. The bass and drums began to follow suit, when Van started singing.

I spoke to god today, and she said that she's ashamed what have I become.

What have I done...

I spoke to the devil today, and he swears he's not to blame, and I understood

'cause I feel the same

The words were spoken softly, as if to caress the patrons. He sung with such heartbreak- such pain... It moved the audience. Even when the chorus was sung, it was so raw and full of passion. Namine looked up at him with wide blue eyes, wondering if this was the same person that attacked her earlier. Surely it couldn't. This man on stage was an impostor!

Arms wide open, I stand alone!

I'm no hero, and I'm not made of stone

She watched his expression, waiting for the monster within to show itself, but no such thing happened. It was as if one song had transformed him into a gentler being. One who's life was filled with suffering he would not be able to free himself from.

Right or wrong! I can wait!

I'm on the wrong side of heaven!

And the righteous side of hell!

His words echoed in the dark room, sending a shiver down the petite girls back, her eyes closed as she absorbed the lyrics.

The wrong side of heaven!

And the righteous side... The righteous side of hell...

After being coerced into preforming a few more songs, The two superstars were released from the holdings of the stage. Vanitas quickly ran to his seat at the table, the call of his abandoned burger pulled him to it. He swayed from side to side as dancers and drunks got in his way. He felt like a stream of water, flowing through the hills of debauchery. He was able to find his table quickly, plopping himself down in his seat. The others, having seen him, turned spouting compliments and jokes, but fell upon deaf ears. "Where the fuck is my burger!" He shouted. He knew it was unnecessary, but he was tired and hungry, and that burger was his only solace after what he was forced to go through thanks to Jason.

The group looked at one another, shrugging and grunting bouts of confusion.

Vanitas sighed, waving glaring at a nearby waitress, demanding she bring him another burger.

The conversations continued from there, until Van's burger arrived. His peace of mind returning, however only briefly, as Sora spoke up

"So, um... Van," the brunette started, "Why don't you, uh... Come by the house tomorrow."

"No," Van sighed in irritation, taking that sweet, precious first bite.

"Come on. please?" he persisted, "I'm sure mom would love to see you again and-"

"I SAID NO!" Vanitas yelled, slamming his burger back down on his plate. He tried to calm himself, but instead stood up abruptly, picking up his shirt. "Lets go," he addressed Jason as he left the table, heading for the door.

"Yeah, alright," Jaosn said, sending Sora an apologetic look. He gave Xion a small kiss on the lips, before grabbing his coat and following after his friend.

Sora watched Vanitas' back as he left, a worried expression painted his face.

"Van..."
