It was time, we knew as we suited up for battle that we had to stop the Wolf Pack there at their lair before they unleashed whatever the hell they were planning out on the kingdom. We still didn't know what they were planning, all we knew was that it involved fear gas and explosives, but we did know that we couldn't just wait around for them to make the first moves. We had to strike now when they didn't expect us. Yes we were outnumbered and outgunned and we were probably walking right into a lions den, but if we didn't stop the Alpha male now, all hell was going to break loose.
After me and Ollie suited up, I picked up my phone and called Rapunzel, making sure she was ready on her side.
"Are you and your crew ready?" I asked
"Yes," Rapunzel said in a hall separate from Merida and the Death force, making sure she didn't hear her talking to them.
"OK, once you get there I need one of your guys to sneak inside and try to figure out their plan, Then once we know what they are planning with this cleansing of the kingdom we will strike and put a end to them once and for all."
"I will, but Archer be careful. These guys outnumber us ten to one.
"Don't worry about me." I said. "Worry about yourself. And if anything happens to me, you get out of their immediately."
"I will." Rapunzel said
"Meet you their Princess." I said as I hung up. Once I hung up I felt my legs collapse from under me and I fell to the floor and wept. It pained me to talk to her and she not know who I was, I wanted nothing more to tell her my secret. It pained me even more knowing that I was allowing her to put her life in danger by going into battle outnumbered and with a huge chance of death.
"What's wrong Eugene?" Ollie asked walking up to me and putting a comforting arm around my shoulder.
"I can't continue to keep my secret from her Ollie." I said "She deserves to know the truth."
"If all goes well tonight then you won't have to." Ollie said
"And what if it doesn't?" I asked "The whole reason I put on this hood and mask was to protect her from danger. But now I am putting her life in even more danger going out there. I can't lose her Ollie."
"Be strong Eugene." Ollie said "Don't be afraid."
"I'm not afraid for myself." I said "I'm afraid for her."
"It looks like to me that the main reason she is going out there is for you Eugene. She believes that your dead and so she believes the only way to find closure is making sure that the Wolf pack is no more. The same reason you put on the mask. You may not know it, but you both are fighting for each other. Have some faith in her. I may not know her like you do, but she seems like a very strong woman."
Ollie then help me off the floor and patted me on the shoulder, giving me some confidence that all three of us would make it out of this alive.
"Now let's go kick some ass." Ollie said
On the outskirts of the Wolf pack's lair a heavy wind was blowing and snow was falling at a fast pace. Greyson was standing right outside the front entrance of the cave, but he looked a lot older and unrecognizable, the magic from the pit was wearing off on him, he needed another dip in it if he was going to survive. However before he was going to take a dip he made a special call to the king, to deliver a special message.
"Hello, your majesty, I have reason to believe that the vigilantes we are after may be planning a visit at the Wolf pack's lair where your daughter and her crew is heading. I would like to request that you send some of your soldiers over their at once. If all goes well, we can settle both of our problems tonight."
"Will do Greyson, keep up the good work." He heard the King say from the other end of the line before hanging up. Greyson just let out a evil smile as he turned to one of his men.
"Get the pit ready, for tonight all hell is going to break loose."
When we got to the mountain me and Ollie waited on the rooftop of the mansion while we waited for Rapunzel's crew to do their thing. We needed to wait for the Death Force to figure out the Wolf Pack's plan of action. Then we would crash through the glass window of the mansion and take them down.
"Dart, Can you sneak into the Wolf pack conference?" Merida asked "We need to know what they are up to."
"Sure thing boss lady." Dart said
"Good." Merida said as she strapped a mic and recorder onto darts chest. "We will be listening in to everything that goes on in there plus you will be given a earpiece so that when I say get out of there, you get out."
"Will do." Dart said as he put in his earpiece and walked over to the mansion. He hid behind one of the corners of the mansion until he saw a member of the Wolf pack walking toward the door. He then grabbed him and covered his mouth as he drug him out of sight, Then he put a poison dart in his neck, killing him almost instantly before he stripped him of his mask and uniform in order to blend in with the pack.
Once Dart got inside he saw hundreds of members of the Wolf pack all standing in the main entrance of the building. He saw at the corner of his eye on the far right side of the room a huge tank filled with green gas and crates filled with explosives. On the other side of the room, concealed in cages were at least a couple dozen of Gray Wolves, all snarling and looking ready to kill if they were released from there cages.
Then walking up in front of the pack was the Alpha male, He looked old and wrinkled with long gray hair. He walked up to the pit and removed his robe as he took a dip in the magic pit as the rest of the Wolf pack chanted.
Pit gleam and glow, let your power shine, make the clock reverse bring back what once was mine.
"That's the song I use with my magic." Rapunzel said listening in to what Dart was recording from inside.
"Shh..." Merida said shushing her.
Heal what has been hurt, change the fates design, save what once was lost, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine.
When the Alpha Male stepped out of the pit he looked a lot younger and stronger. His long gray hair was now black, his back was turned as he put on his mask and cloak so Dart couldn't get a look at his face as he turned and faced the crowd.
"Brothers of the Wolf pack, Soon we will mark a knew day in age for the kingdom of Corona and the Wolf pack." The Alpha male shouted with a deep booming voice. "For soon we will be releasing our fear gas into Corona. We will place bombs throwout the kingdom, each bomb will be filled with out fear gas enough to cover the entire kingdom. Once the bombs go off, Corona will tear themselves apart with their on fear, there will be terror in the streets as they rip each other apart. Then once the deed is done and Corona is in ashes, what survivors are left will be helpless as we conquer the Kingdom, overthrow the monarchs and rebuild the kingdom in the name of the Wolf pack. Gone will be the days of the Monarch as a new era will rise and we will run the kingdom. A kingdom ruled by fear."
"Oh my god." Ollie said as he heard what was being said from outside.
"I've heard enough." I said "Time to crash this party" The two of us then swung down from the rooftop and crashed threw the window into the meeting room.
"Alpha Male!" I roared as the two of us each pointed a arrow it the Alpha male's chest. "You have failed this kingdom!"
"Well if it isn't the vigilantes." The Alpha male said in a calm voice. "So nice of you to come and join the party."
"The vigilantes." Merida gasped from outside, hearing that they were inside the mansion. Terminator heard it to, and he quietly sneacked off and drew his sword, ready to take them down.
"This ends now." Ollie said, still pointing his arrow at his chest.
"I admire your blind confidence." Alpha male laughed "But I'm afraid you are massively out numbered." Alpha Male then turned to his men. "Wolf Pack destroy them!"
The Wolf Pack then charged us as the Alpha Male made for his getaway. I tried my hardest to follow after him but the amount of men attacking us made it near impossible for me to reach him. If I we were going to get to him we were going to have to fight our way to him.
"Death Force get in there." Merida ordered, sending the Death Force in to assist in battle. Merida then noticed something very shocking, Terminator wasn't with them.
"Wait, where's Terminator?" Merida asked "Terminator?" That's when Terminator jumped up from behind her and tackled her to the ground.
"Merida!?" Rapunzel screamed, seeing Merida get tackled to the ground.
"Terminator what is the meaning of this?" Merida asked as she laid on the ground, backing up to try to get her weapon. As she grabbed for her bow, Terminator drew his gun and quickly shot it out of her hand.
"You don't control me anymore," Terminator said taking out his sword and swinging it at Merida. Merida quickly jumped out of the way and grabbed her bow, quickly blocking Terminator's blow.
"Haven't you forgotten that I put a bomb in your skull?" Merida screamed as she fought back Terminator's blows.
"No I haven't" Terminator growled. "That's why it's been removed."
What?" Merida gasped as she backed off long enough to take out her remote for Terminator's bomb and clicked it, hoping to see, Terminator's head explode. To her shock though she saw it did nothing. Terminator really did have his bomb deactivated.
"But how?" Merida gasped? Terminator then lunged at Merida and grabbed her by the neck and started chocking her as he lifted her off the ground.
"I am going to enjoy this." Terminator said as was chocking Merida. Terminator then felt a sting in his shoulder as he heard the sound of a gunshot. Terminator turned around and saw Rapunzel with a gun in her hand, pointing it straight at him.
"Put her down?" Rapunzel yelled. Terminator, deciding not to risk getting a bullet in the head obeyed and dropped Merida on the ground as she put her hand to her throat started gasping for air.
"Your not my target anyway." Terminator growled as he ran off, towards the lair.
"Are you OK?" Rapunzel asked helping Merida up off the ground.
"I'm fine." Merida growled. "But I want to know just who removed that bomb from Terminator's skull."
Then the two of them suddenly heard what sounded like Helicopters and horses coming toward them.
"What now?" Rapunzel asked.
Rapunzel's eyes widened when she then saw five helicopters filled with the King's soldiers as well as a two dozen soldiers on horseback arriving to the scene, one of those horses being Maximus.
"Oh my god." Rapunzel gasped getting out the phone that I gave her and immediately called me.
"Archer you need to get out of here now!" Rapunzel screamed.
"What's going on!" I asked, using my earpiece because I didn't have a free hand to use my phone as I put a arrow into one of the Wolf pack member's eye.
"I don't have time to explain just get out of here now!"
"Your in contact with the Archer!?" Merida asked.
"I don't have time to explain right now, but we can't let my father's soldiers get to him.
"How come?" Merida asked
"As I said I don't have time to explain right now."
Deciding to take Rapunzel's word me and Ollie quickly leaped out of the open window. It wasn't long though before me and Ollie found out the reason why Rapunzel wanted me and Ollie out of there. The King had sent nearly a hundred men after us and they all had there guns drawn at me and Ollie. We were surrounded. Things had just gotten a whole lot harder.
