Previously on Arrow. Oops this isn't Arrow this is a Tangled story parodying Arrow, My bad.
On with the story.
"I can't believe you would keep something like this from me?" Rapunzel said when we got back to my lair. Rapunzel was really upset at the fact that I kept the secret of me being the Archer from her and let the whole kingdom including her think I was dead. Can't say that I blame her really. I should of let her in from the start but the fear of putting her in danger kept me from it.
"Rapunzel I was only trying to protect you." I said trying to defend my actions the best I could. Merida and the Death Force was there in the lair with us also, looking on as me and Rapunzel fought, Smiley and Jester was leaning back in a couple of the chairs eating popcorn while watching the event unfold, seeming to enjoy the bickering like it was some type of soup drama.
"More Popcorn?" Smiley asked handing the bag to Jester.
"Sure thing pudding" Jester said taking the bag and stuffing some popcorn in her mouth
"By letting me believe you were dead?" Rapunzel cried. Me and Rapunzel had fought before, all couple have I guess. But this fight was different. She seemed more hurt then what she was angry, and she was letting it be known by the tears flowing from her eyes. "By having me cry myself to sleep, night after night, shutting the world out because I was to depressed to leave my room? Do you know how much pain I have went through. I could barely sleep, I rarely ate. Because every waking moment all I could think about was you! How much I missed you, how I would give anything to just have you back in my arms one more time. And now that your back, I don't see you the way I use to. Now all I see is a murderous vigilante."
"I had a reason to keep those secrets." I said "If I had let the kingdom know that I was alive while on the pursuit of the Wolf pack that would put you and everybody else in danger while jeopardizing the mission."
"My father wants the vigilante captured!" Rapunzel cried"He has every officer in the kingdom looking for you."
"Which is why I kept this a secret!" I said "If I had returned immediately and shortly after the Archer shows up, do you know how suspicious that would look."
"Was you ever going to tell me though?" Rapunzel asked. "Was you ever going to let me know that you were the Archer?"
"Maybe?" I said, not really knowing how to respond. "I don't know."
"It's like I don't even know you any more." Rapunzel said turning her face from me as she turned away and leaned over a table, placing both hands firmly on the table as she cried.
"Ouch!" Smiley said after hearing Rapunzel say what she did.
"This is why I never married." Merida said to Sniper, as she watched on from a distance.
"Rapunzel." I cried, walking over to her and putting my arms around her as I tried my best to dry her tears.
"I just wish you had let me know that you were alive this whole time to ease my pain." Rapunzel say.
"I'm sorry. I should have told you." I said. "I'm sorry for all the pain I caused. But I'm here now. And I promise you I will never keep secrets from you again. Things haven't been any easier on my end either. It pained me every time I put on that hood that I couldn't let you in. I wanted to tell you, so bad, I wanted to let you know I was alive but my fear of the enemy finding out my secret was what kept me from it. I promise though, know more secrets."
"Promise?"
"Promise" I said. Rapunzel then turned around and wrapped her arms around my neck as she kissed me.
"I'm just so happy your alive.
"Aw, isn't that sweet." Smiley said, still watching the whole thing. "This is better then any soup drama." Smiley said to Jester.
"I know, they should give that right there a Emmy award."
"OK, as much as I enjoy watching couples argue we still have a terrorist out there that needs capturing." Merida said.
"So what is the plan to take down this Alpha male Robin Hood?" Smiley said
"That's not my name." I replied. "And the plan is to use his magic pit against him."
"And just how are we going to do that?" Rapunzel asked.
"I have a theory." I replied. "His magic pit helps heal him when he is either injured or close to death due to his age. So what if he get's exposed to the magic when he is at full health? What if it has the opposite affect, and kills him."
"That's a pretty interesting theory but how are we going to get him close to the pit." Sniper said "He seems a little to smart for that."
"Maybe we don't have to." I said
"Come again?" Rapunzel asked
"If we can get a sample of the magic from in that pit we can harden it and make it into a specialized arrow, one that when pierced into his skin, will release the magic into his system and kills him."
"That is extremely risky Eugene." Merida said "We have no way to test if that will work."
"Maybe it won't work." I yelled. "But we don't have that many options left."
"It's worth a try." Black Lion said.
"Fine." Merida said. "This is your plan, which means you are calling the shots. If this backfires though, it is on you."
"I'm helping you." Rapunzel said
"No!" I protested. "It's to dangerous. You go back to the castle where you will be safe."
"Eugene you are not keeping me out of this anymore. You are my husband and I will be by your side in this. I am not helpless."
"I can't risk you getting killed." I protested.
"And I won't let you go out their alone." Rapunzel said "You need me. You need all of us."
I sighed, she was definitely stubborn, but she was right too. The more hands I had on deck the greater chance I have of beating the Wolf Pack.
"Very well then. I said, but you are going to need a costume. Hiding your identity will be one of your greatest allies."
"I got some props in my helicopter that she might be able to use." Merida said leading Rapunzel to her helicopter. Merida then pulled out a chest from the back of her helicopter that revealed a blonde wig, a black leather jacket and pants, a black mask, batons, a dagger, and a small sonic device.
"What's this device do?" Rapunzel asked, picking up the sonic weapon.
"It's a non-lethal sonic weapon that, when used properly can disband large groups of enemies by overwhelming the hearing of everyone in a certain premise, as well as shatter glass. We call it the bird call."
"I like it." Rapunzel said taking the bird call. She took all the props in the chest and changed into the black leather outfit, mask and blonde wig and stuffed the batons, dagger and bird call in holsters that where attached to her pockets as she joined the group.
"Nice outfit." I replied, being took back a little when I saw her in her uniform for the first time.
"You like it?" Rapunzel asked, showing off her outfit like a Victoria's Secret model. "I always missed being a blonde."
"So what are you thinking about calling yourself?" I asked
"I was thinking the Blackbird."
"I like it." Smiley said voicing his opinion.
"Blackbird it is then." I said before getting back to the mission at hand. "OK here's the plan. Blackbird, Sniper and Purple Spade will sneak into the Wolf's lair and get a sample of the magic from the pit, once the three of them returns we will work on making a arrow out of the samples we got.
"I just joined the team and your already throwing me to the wolves huh?"
"Oh that's a nice pun." Smiley said "Girls got the jokes."
"You said you wanted in." I said "This will be good practice for you. And if you one into any of the Wolf Pack members, use your weapons. Good luck you three and be safe."
"Don't worry Blackbird." Sniper said a couple hours later as they reached the Wolf's lair. "I am one of the most experienced Snipers on this side of the equator. I'll keep you safe.
"I'm not worried about me safety." Rapunzel said "I'm worried about Eugene. He's changed since I first met him, the fun loving wise cracking Eugene now seems to be replaced with a tormented soul."
"That's what happens when you go through a traumatic experience like he did."Purple Spade said. "Sometimes all it takes is one traumatic experience to change you to a completely different person. In Eugene's case being shot, left for dead and stranded on a island. I was once just as harmless and innocent as you. I had a fiancee and was looking forward to spending my life with him and live happily ever after. But my father was a mobster. And he didn't approve of the guy that I was engaged to. He thought he was just after our wealth. So he had one of the members of the mafia kill him. It drove me mad that my father would do such a thing to his own daughter. So I donned this mask and crossbow and killed him as well as the guy he hired to kill him. Do I regret my actions? Sometimes, but when you go through something like I did, sometimes you don't always think as clearly as you should. You should count yourself lucky however. At least Eugene seems to still have his sanity attached. Not all of us are so lucky."
Rapunzel just nodded and sighed after hearing what Purple Spade said to her. She was right in a sense, Eugene still had his sanity attached and hadn't gone off the deep end yet. So she should count herself lucky, still she wished that she had the old Eugene back. Still she was just happy she had Eugene back at all.
When the three of them reached the pit Sniper put on a thick pair of gloves to protect himself from the magic from the pit as he took out a tiny Tupperware bowl and dipped it in the pit. Once he filled the bowl up with the magic water and put a lid on it to conceal the liquid he someone come up from behind him.
"What are you doing here?" A voice said as Sniper felt a gun being pressed to the back of his head, Sniper slowly turned around to see a member of the Wolf Pack had a small hand gun pressed to the back of his head.
"I am here..." Sniper said in a calm voice "To kill you!" Sniper then grabbed the gun before the guy had a chance to pull the trigger, yanked it out of his hand and pointed the gun toward the guy and fired two bullets in the chest, killing him.
The noise attracted more members of the Pack and as the three of them were running to make their get away, people from the pack were chasing after them.
"Sniper, please tell me you got a grenade on you?" Rapunzel asked
"Sure thing deary." Sniper said pulling one out of his coat.
"OK, when I give the signal, you fire, you got that." Rapunzel said. Rapunzel then took out her bird call and put earphones in her ear to block out the sound.
"You may want to cover your ears." Rapunzel said, Sniper listened and covered his ears. Rapunzel then pressed the button on the bird call causing everyone of the pack members that were after them to fall on the floor screaming as they covered their ears. The bird call caused extreme ringing in their ears rendering them defenseless and all they could do was cover their ears and scream for the ringing to stop.
"Now Sniper!" Rapunzel said. Sniper then threw the grenade at the pack, blowing them up as the trio made their getaway back to Corona.
"Mission accomplished." Sniper said as the three of them walked back to Eugene's lair.
"Nice work." I said said as I looked at the liquid sample that Sniper got for them. "Now what we need is to turn into a arrow head."
" I hand crafted my crossbow and the arrows that come with it." Purple Spade said "I can surely turn that into a arrow for you."
"You do that Spade." I said handing her the bowl, she took the bowl and walked off with it to get started making a arrowhead out of it.
"So what now?" Rapunzel asked.
"Well with the head of the Wolf Pack working for the king, we need to get the whole kingdom together in one group so that Death Force can scan the group for any unusual behavior. Something that would give us at least a suspect to look at."
"What are you thinking?" Merida asked.
"I'm thinking." I said turning to the group. "I'm thinking it's time Eugene makes his public return to Corona."
That's it for this one. Rapunzel is now part of the team and the Death Force and Merida is joining forces with Eugene to stop the Wolf Pack. Things are getting more interesting now and it's only going to get better so make sure you keep up with this story. It's only going to get better.
