As there's only a few chapters left in this story (probably four more besides this one) I've decided to focus all my attention on this story for the next two weeks until I complete it. I really want to see how this one plays out... It's been a fun story to write and read.

Anyway... You'll either love or hate me after this chapter but there's a big, and I mean 'BIG' reveal in this chapter. LOL

"Luce! That's all right! I wasn't sure if I could do it until I saw how upset you were when you let your whip drop into that well... I knew then, that it was very special to you, so please down worry!... Okay!" Natsu said as he ran his warm fingers through my hair. I cried for a few minutes before Natsu pulled my face towards his and kissed me on the cheek... His smile warmed my heart and made the sacrifice less unbearable. "Now wipe those tears and lets go get Lisanna!" Lucy nodded as I slowly guided her along the narrow platform to the other side.
Once on the other side we both looked back and were surprised to see the platform, cliff and everything that we had seen earlier had faded away...
...We were now in the Third Circle - Gluttony!
Chapter 7 - My Eyes Adored You!
Somewhere in Hell...
Normal POV
"Well this has been an eventful morning!" Beelzebub grumbled as he followed Baul along the winding corridors which slowly led to his master's bed chambers. He knew that entering such a forbidden place was a-kin to instant death but he was ordered to by his mistress and to deny her was even worse than defying his lord and master.
Baul stopped and stared back at his life-long rival, a look of urgency graced his face as he reached for the door handle and let out a loud resounding sigh only to have his hand batted away the instant he touched the handle.
"What was that for idiot!" Baul growled.
"No!... You're the idiot! Master will destroy us if we enter his personal sanctuary!" Beelzebub said as he rubbed his face in disbelief at what his over-zealous companion was about to do. "You want to get us both killed... KNOCK!" I ordered.
Baul's head snapped back as a low growl escaped his lips but after a quick moment to reflect he relented and gently rapped on the door three times.
"My Lord!... Lady Miu requests your presence in your study!" Baul softly spoke as he along with Beelzebub lowered their heads and awaited a reply. A moment later the door swung open and their master appeared with a grin.
There were two truths about Lord Satan that every demon in hell knew, one his laws were unquestionable and any being in his realm that broke such laws were swiftly and unceremoniously dealt with and two, there were only two exceptions to the first rule, his wife Miu and their daughter Lucy. So when they were asked to summon Lord Satan, Baul felt a little too confident and was about to break a cardinal rule within this sanctuary, 'with the exception of Miu and Lucy, no-one enters Lord Satan's bed chambers'.
At times Baul's cockiness got the better of him and that led to his demise some years back when he took Lady Miu hostage and attempted to usurp Lucifer's place as leader of the underworld. Lucifer's judgment was swift and unwavering but in time he was restored and made head of Lady Miu's guard... It was his duty to follow her every command even if they contradicted his masters commands. At times this power would over-ride his ability to make effective decisions and such was the case only moments ago but thankfully the ever vigilant Beelzebub was on hand to stop such foolish actions.
"That was a wise choice Baul, as your earlier decision to enter would have ended badly for you!..." Lucifer grinned. "Don't ever make the mistake of thinking that because you are Miu's servant that circumvents my decrees... That would be a foolish mistake on your part!"
"I understand Master..." Baul lowered his head as a wave of relief washed over him. His companion just saved him from a fate he did not wish to visit again. "...It will not happen again my Lord!"
"Good! Now lead the way to Miu!" He said as he followed the two demons around the corner, down the stairs and towards a set of large doors that led to his study. He pushed the doors open, let out a sigh and quickly closed the doors behind himself.
Miu's POV
I was sitting on the couch watching every moment of Lucy and Natsu's trip through the Nine Circles when an unexpected visitor showed up... So I summoned my husband, who appeared with haste.
"Miu!... Why did you summon m..." Kai suddenly froze as he noticed the little man sitting directly to my right. His white robes shimmered as he shifted on the couch and looked back at a stunned Kai.
"Ah!... So you do remember your old friend after all!" The old man laughed.
"What are you doing here?" Kai growled as he made his way around the room and with a deep sigh dropped into the single chair that was at the head of the room. His comfy chair was directly in front of the large coffee table and at either side directly in front of his chair were two couches and sitting next to his wife on the couch on the right was his arch-nemesis, the very reason he was eternally bound to this place, his old friend and former master... God himself! "Slumming are we!" Kai smirked.
"KAI!" I yelled as I glared at him. "Play nice!"
"Fine!... But only because you asked!" I smiled as I playfully stuck out my tongue and watched as his cheeks turned red at my playful actions.
"AH-HAHAHA!" The Almighty One laughed. "I see somethings have changed... You seem to have found some semblance of humility!"
"Get over yourself!" Kai leaned forward and growled. "Again!... What are you doing here?"
"I came to watch the show with this pretty young one!" The silver haired man spoke in a near sing song fashion as he tapped me on the shoulder.
"Miu! Slide towards me!" Kai shook his head and motioned for me to slide up the couch. "I don't want that idiot to infect you with his childish and foolish ways!"
I did as Kia asked but I let him know in no uncertain terms it was in protest as I deeply sighed and glared up at him.
"Your still a wet rag Lucifer!" The old man folded his arms and pouted.
"Atleast I don't act like a two year old when I don't get my way!"
"No! Our precious little Satan wouldn't act childish like that now would he!" The Almighty laughed.
"...And how do I act childish?" Lucifer's upper lip twitched and his nostrils flared.
The old man pointed to a weary man in black slumping deeper and deeper into his comfy chair and grinned, "...Like that!"
"Whatever!" Lucifer said as he turned his attention to his daughter on the large screen in front of them.
"ENOUGH!" I yelled at the two with their childish antics. "If only the rest of creation could see how the two of you act... They'd laugh!" They both let out a simultaneous 'humph!' and dropped their heads.
"Do we have to do this every-time you two get together... For once try being civil to one another!" I said as I released a deep breath and shook my head.
"Fine!" They sighed in unison.
"It's a good thing this room is sound-proof and impervious to outside eyes and ears or we would be made fools off!" Kai chuckled as he looked over and saw the old man grin. "The two most powerful beings in all of creation house-broken by a little girl!"
"Hey! I'm not that little!" I slid deep into my couch and pouted.
"HAHAHA!..." The old man laughed. "Now who's being childish!?"
"Well... You two always do this to me!" I lightly laughed.
"Anyway, in all seriousness!... Why are you here old man?" Lucifer leaned forward and asked.
"Okay... Okay!..." His eyes grew wide as a smile crossed his cheeks. "I wanted to come and watch my God-Daughters trial!"
"She's not your God-Daughter or your goddaughter or your anything like that!" Lucifer growled.
"She is!.. I'm God and she's your daughter, that makes her my God-Daughter!" The old man laughed, "so there!"
"But..." Lucifer was interrupted as I placed a hand on his and shook my head.
"Kai!... Please leave him be! He means no harm and besides..." Kai shot straight up and shot me a cold stare.
"Besides what?" He demanded.
"Nothing! Now let it go!" I growled back catching Kai by surprise.
"Okay, fine!" he sighed and slid back into his chair.
"Oh if they only knew how whipped you really are!" The old man grinned as he pointed towards the door.
I slowly turned towards the grinning old man and growled at him as I shook my head in disbelief at the troubles I have to deal with whenever these two are in the same room.
"...And that will be enough out of you as well!" I glared at him and his confident smirk quickly disappeared.
"HAHAHA!" Kai confidently laughed.
"KAI!" I screamed and the place went quiet.
"This is why I never married..." The old man mumbled under his breath as I shot him another glare. He threw his hands up as if to say 'wasn't me' and laughed to himself.
"Oh!... Now that your here, there's something I've always wanted to thank you for..." I stopped as I heard a light "hmm!" escape from the old man, I just wanted to thank you for guiding me to Kai and... And for giving us Lucy!" I softly said.
"What do you mean child!" The old man seemed confused by my query.
"What she's trying to say old man, is thank you!... Thank you for guiding her to that old book and thank you for the miracle of Lucy!" Kai softly said.
"I-I had nothing to do with any of that!" He said as he rubbed his chin as remembered the events that led up to Lucifer's happiness.
"If not you... Then who!?" Kia said and after a moment his eyes shot open as it finally dawned on him who had been manipulating him and the old man for so long...
"Jesus!" The two men said in unison.
"Huh!" I curiously wondered.
"It has to be him!... He's the only one who's capable of doing such a thing besides us two. Miu wasn't capable of doing anything like that back then! Now she could, but back then she couldn't!... It has to be him!" The old man said.
"That reminds me... Where is the little idiot, I haven't seen him around in years!" Kai laughed.
"He's not an idiot... He's just a little stupid sometimes!" The old man laughed back at his old friend.
"Hey don't call your son stupid!" I smacked the old man across the back of the head and growled. I shook my head, stood up and walked over to the large screen that was displaying the journey of our daughter and her friend Natsu. "Kai!... Gramps!... Come over here and see this!"
They both stood up and walked across the floor and their eyes grew as big as saucers as they watched the two young ones drop something into the well and cross into the Third Circle - Gluttony. Miu leaned forward and tilted the image before them so the contents of the well became visible to the three who were now shaking their heads in disbelief at what they saw at the bottom of the well...
"Wow!... These two really mean business!" The old man said as he reached through the screen and pulled the two items back into the study. One was a simple yet elegant scarf and the other a rather unassuming whip. They gasped at what this meant to not only them but to the young one making their way through the pit... "They're serious about this!"
"They sure are if Lucy parted with that!" Kai reached forward and took his daughter's prized possession in his hand and smiled. "There's hope there after all!"
"What do you mean Kai?" I looked from Gramps to Kai as both had similar grins.
"Should you tell her or will I!" Kai laughed.
"The pleasure is all yours!" The old man laughed back at his old friend.
"Miu!... That boy with Lucy... Well!... How do I put this?... He's..." I placed my finger to Kai lips and smiled.
"Yes, he's Gramps' son!..." I laughed as both men stared back in shock as they were unaware of my growing abilities. "I knew who he was the moment I met him back at that guild, Fairy tail!"
"How did you know?" The old man asked as he was clearly taken back by such an announcement.
"His warm eyes and kind smile told me all I needed to know. Besides I'd met Jesus before!" I smiled. "It was not long after we were married Kai... I was roaming the grounds and a bright golden light appeared before me. It slowly revealed a rather handsome young dark-haired man with a glorious smile, who introduced himself to me as, the son of God. We talked for what seemed like days and before he left he said we'd meet again. The thing that stood out beside his caring and gentle nature was his parting words... "I'll see you soon Mother-in-law!""
"Why didn't you tell me this Miu?" Kai demanded.
"I didn't think it was that important and you were gone... So I saw no reason to trouble you with such things! I'm sorry Kai!" I hung my head and sighed. Kai reached out, gently lifted my face and stared deeply into my eyes... He smiled!...
"That's alright Miu, but no secrets okay!" I happily nodded.
"So now it all makes sense... The book Miu found, loving her, all of it was his doing. I'd bet he was responsible for my son becoming a girl as well... Everything we've been through... All of it has been about Lucy and his need to be with her!" Kai smiled at how easily the Master of the underworld was so easily manipulated by this... This dragon slayer!
"HAHAHA!... We've been played like a finely tuned violin!... Well done my boy!" The old man laughed.
"Ahhh!... Isn't that sweet!" Miu clasped her hands in front of her face as she tried to contain her excitement. "He's loves her so much!"
"What do you mean my dear child!" The old man curiously asked.
"Well, he spend so much time planning all of this, me, Kai, all of it, just so he could be with Lucy!" I smiled as I looked up into Kia beautiful dark eyes and nodded. "You understand now Kia!?"
"I believe I do!... That little frigger played us all!" He laughed. "But I'm not complaining, as a matter of fact when I see him I may even thank him for giving me the both of you!"
"Oh!... I just may get a daughter-in-law out of this!" Gramps laughed as he rubbed his hands together with excitement in his eyes.
"I knew there had to be a catch!" Kai laughed as he swept me up into his strong arms and gently kissed me.
"I guess we can say that my son Jesus, I mean Natsu has passed his trial, now lets see how Lucy fairs with hers!" They all nodded in agreement.
"She'll do fine, I have fate in my baby!" Miu smiled down from high above the old man.
"Comfy?" He laughed.
"Yes!... Very comfortable thank you Gramps!" Miu cooed.
"They're moving along quite briskly now..." The old man said with a proud smile. "...They've just entered the sixth circle - Heresy!"
"This should be interesting!" Kia laughed as an evil grin crossed his mind. "Maybe a little pay-back is in order!"
"What did you have in mind Lucifer?" The old man asked and then he realized what his old friend was contemplating. "Oh that's devious... I like it!"
"Thought you would old man!" I looked at the both of them and I cringed as I too realized what they had planned.
"You want the honours old man?"
"Gladly!" He said as he rubbed his chin and his eyes lit up as the perfect selection came to mind. He reached into the screen for the second time that day and snapped his fingers and a soft melody started to sound throughout the pit... It was a lovely tune, one that always made him smile...
A lone guitar started to ring throughout the pit, it's warm melody echoed until it was joined by a light hum as if sung by angels... His invisible hand reached out and slowly brushed by his son who shivered for a moment but quickly smirked as he opened his mouth and a beautiful voice escaped his lips. This surprised Lucy, who by now had leaned in close to him and wrapped her arm around his as she rested her head on his shoulder. As they walked through the sixth circle - Heresy, a smile crossed her lips at Natsu's unusual actions... Miu cooed as she watched her daughter hang off Natsu, who started to softly sing...

Lucy drifted into Natsu's gentle embrace as she was slowly swept away by his soulful singing. They smiled at one another and blindly continued along on their journey, unaware of the three figures laughing at them...
Well not exactly the the Four Circles chapter that I promised before but I just wanted to do this chapter now instead of later... I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
BTW... The song is called "My eyes adored you" By the Four Seasons.
Next chapter... Chapter 8 - The Three Circles! We're getting closed to Lisanna...
