A/N: Hehehe... Didn't expect something new here, did you? Well, due to popular demand and an epiphany, I decided to continue SSBB Shorts for 5 more chapters! *fanfare* So that means more humor, more antics and more... well, SSBB.

Chapter 6: Spicy Curry
There was a pleasant aroma in the kitchen of the Smash Mansion.
The reason for this was because of Peach. Today was an especially grueling day of brawling since there were rumors of new smashers coming to the mansion. So, as a thank-you for trying their hardest, Peach—with the help of Kirby—decided to make an extremely delicious and nutritious dinner after all of the brawls were finished.
Peach hurried to a nearby counter and grab a list of dishes she had cooked.
"Okay," she was saying while checking off dishes. "so I've got mushroom soup, vegetable soup, salad, root beer, hmm... Oh! I could make some of that Toad Platter that Toadsworth taught me the other day! Hmm, what else should I make?"
"Oh, I have an idea!" Kirby trotted over to Peach and gave her a slip of paper. Peach took the slip and read it.
"So, you want me to make curry?" Peach asked.
"Yeah!"
"I don't know, Kirby. The curry isn't that popular and not everyone likes to eat it. Not everyone likes spicy foods, you know?"
"COME ON! MAKE THE CURRY! I'M TELLING YOU!"
"OKAY, OKAY, I GET IT! CALM DOWN, KIRBY!" Peach took a deep breath and started setting up. "It's decided, Kirby. I'll make the curry. And Kirby, this time leave out the spicy seasoning."
As soon as she said that, however, she smelled something burning.
"KYAAAAAH! THE PLATTER!" Peach rushed to the oven and took out a coal black tray.
Meanwhile, Kirby quietly strolled to another counter and took out an unmarked package.
Without hesitation, he poured the contents of the package into the curry bowl.
"What?! NOOOO!"
"Looks like I win again, Pit."
Pit looked at the results screen in utter shock. The winner was Link... again!
"Wait a minute? Something messed with the results? Or maybe I timed my attacks a bit too early?
Link sighed.
Although Pit and Link were good friends, in battle, they were complete rivals. Since arriving at Smash Manor, Pit's ultimate goal was but one thing: to take down Link. Though, since his very first brawl with Link, Pit found out pretty quick that defeating Hyrule's greatest swordsman was easier said than done.
In the midst of all of this, Pit's stomach growled.
"Well, all of this brawling has sure got me hungry," Pit said. He turned to Link. "Wanna get something to eat?"
Link nodded.
So, the two Smashers walked to the dining room where several plates of a certain dish were lined up around the table. An appetizing scent filled the air and Pit and Link inhaled it. The hylian and the angel took a closer look at one of the plates and recognized its contents.
"Huh, it's curry," Pit pointed out. "Say, Link. Want some curry?"
"Sure, I'll have some. Just... examine it first," Link replied. "Since that dinner with the Master Hand, anything that tastes or smells good scares me."
"Whatever you say."
Pit picked up a nearby spoon, scooped up a bit of curry from the plate and popped it in his mouth. His eyes widened.
"This is actually very good, Link," Pit said. "You try some." He took another spoon and passed it to Link, who tried the curry for himself.
His eyes actually widened, as the curry was very delicious.
"This isn't so bad," Link said.
He was just about to get another spoonful when he and Pit felt it.
The kick.
In a matter of seconds, Pit and Link were screaming at the top of their lungs and trying to get rid of the burning sensations in their mouths with water glasses! Unfortunately, it didn't work! If anything, it only made it worse!
And so, Pit and Link dashed around Smash Manor—now spewing fire from their mouths—as they tried to get rid of spiciness from the Superspicy Curry.
Hours later, all of the smashers gathered in the mess hall where they were greeted with the heavenly sight of delicious foods and drinks.
Famished and exhausted from the day's brawling, all of the brawlers helped themselves to the food available on the main table.
As the smashers were eating away, Kirby noticed something: the curry wasn't getting any attention. So he grabbed the nearest plate of curry and started to wave it in air, drawing the attention of the other smashers.
"Hey! Try this dish that Peach made! I hear it's supposed to be really good!"
It was as if Kirby had triggered a Smart Bomb. The other smashers seemed to get the message—Try the curry! As a result, every smasher began to try spoonfuls of the curry and offer it to the others. There were positive comments and nods of approval.
"Hey, this is pretty good!"
"The seasoning is the best part!"
"Peach really outdid herself this time!"
And like Pit and Link before them, the comments turned into screams and yells. Now, everyone was dashing about, spewing fire and making the burning sensations in their mouths worse by trying to drink water.
"THIS IS FREAKING HOT!"
"THE SEASONING IS SPICY!"
"PEACH IS TRYING TO MURDER US!"
The next morning, Peach woke up. She wanted to wake up everyone else, but she came to find out very quickly that everyone was not in their dorms. Eventually, she found everyone on top of each other in the mess hall.
Greeting everyone with her usual joyful deposition, Peach said, "Good morning! I hope everyone is in for another day of brawling."
Everyone groaned in response. Pit managed to lift his head and utter, "You... are never... going to cook for us... again..."
While Peach gave him a confused look, Kirby—witnessing the events that were transpiring—smiled at the results of his actions and winked.
So, the moral of the story is: do not accept curry from Kirby...
Before ending this chapter, I have 3 important things to say:
1. I am aware of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and WiiU (or SSB4). However, this fanfic will continue to be about Brawl. Expect a fanfiction about SSB4 in the near future, though...
2. I also know that Kirby's speech isn't language. So, the italics in the chapter is there to signify what Kirby is saying (because it's easier than typing "Poyo poyo!" for the whole chapter).
3. I hope everyone had a GREAT New Year.
