A/N: Hey guys, sorry if this is another boring chapter. I've been having writer's block and other things came up as well.
Also, I bought Big Hero 6 last night and I was watching it earlier today while I was writing my lesson for tonight. Yes I am a Youth Teacher.
Alright enough of that, back to our story!
Valka watched her husband running out of the house. She saw the torches being lit and rising up from the ground. They had just caught fish and she knew they were going to make sure the dragons didn't steal their food. Valka ran out and watched the people around her trying to take down the creatures with bolas, nets, and shooting arrows. It didn't take long for her to yell at them to stop. Of course, none of them listened to her and they kept attacking the giant reptiles.
"Valka, what are you doing?!" she heard her brother crying out from behind her. Valka turned around and saw Spitelout looking at her with an axe dripping fresh blood.
"It doesn't have to be this way!" she screamed at him. Spitelout rolled his eyes and ran off to fight with the others. Valka glared watching her brother running off, why wouldn't these people listen to her? Then she heard a Zippleback cry out and she saw it lying on the ground with a bola tied around their necks, wings and legs. She watched a man walking to the trapped creature and saw him raise his sword over his head ready to strike down. The right head of the Zippleback tried to spray gas, but it was out to defend itself. Valka ran to the scene and shouted for him to stop.
The Viking heard the woman yelling and she put her hands on his wrist. "Stop! Killing that dragon isn't going to do anything!" The man huffed at her then jabbed his elbow in her stomach to push her away. Valka fell on her back from the impact and wrapped her arm around her stomach. She winced in pain trying to sit up with one arm supporting herself. Valka watched the man raising his sword again, but was stopped when a separate dragon fired by him. The fire was able to burn off the ropes from the bolas and the Zippleback flew off.
Valka looked up to only see the man towering down at her. "You foolish woman! I had that dragon as good as dead!" Valka glared up at the man, and then saw a silhouette of a large man behind him. It didn't take long for Valka to recognize the silhouette when it got closer. "If you would have just got out of my way, I could have killed that beast!"
Suddenly, the outraged Viking felt a hand on his shoulder and was spun around. He saw his furious chief scowling down at him. "I don't care what she did, but you don't have the right to speak to her in that manner, let alone touch her. Do I make myself clear?" The Viking felt smaller seeing his chief putting his face right in front of his. He nodded and his chief took a step back.
"Alright, now get going and help the others."
"Yes, sir!"
Valka watched the man run off, and then she turned her attention to her husband. He extended his hand to her and she grabbed it. Stoick helped pull her up from the ground while she kept her one arm around her bruised up torso. "You should have stayed inside," he mumbled at her.
Valka gave him a look of disgust. She knew that he didn't like what she believed in, but to treat her like a flower was ridiculous! "No Stoick, I won't stay inside! These dragons are only attacking us because we are attacking them!"
"They got on our land to take our food and livestock! You can't tell me that these beasts are not attacking us!"
"We don't know why they are doing it! There has to be a good reason for them to take our food and livestock."
"Valka, I've got a village to protect. I can't argue with you right now, get inside and I'll get Gothi to look at you." With that, Stoick ran off and left Valka irritated and outraged. She pinched the bridge of her nose and walked to her house. When she got inside and shut the door behind her, she walked to her room and sat on the bed waiting for Gothi. It was obvious that this was not the time to talk or even think about children.

After the dragons left, Gothi showed up to wrap up Valka's purple marked stomach. She couldn't believe how hard he hit her. Even though the hit knocked the wind out of her, she wasn't going to let this make her stay quite. She wasn't going to let anyone get in her way into changing these people's minds. Even if she was the only one who saw that dragons aren't the beasts the people thought they were.
After Gothi was done tending to Valka, Stoick walked in and hung up his weapons. He walked over and thanked the elder when she was leaving the house. After Gothi shut the door behind her, Stoick walked up and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine, I just wasn't expecting him to do that, but I'll live," she answered him. He only gave her a nod and they decided to get ready for bed. Just when they were getting under the covers, Stoick remembered what happened before the dragons attacked.
"Oh, I almost forgot. What did you want to tell me that was important?" Stoick saw her cringe a little when he asked her.
"It can wait." She answered while she got under the covers. Stoick shrugged and followed her actions.

The next day, Valka walked to her parents' house while Stoick was out doing his everyday tasks. When Valka knocked on the door, she expected her mother to open the door, but instead she saw her father. Valka felt her heart stop seeing her father this close to her for a year.
Shoutlout looked down then back up to his daughter. "Um, hi Valka, I-uh, I guess you're here to see your mother."
Valka sighed and looked around her trying to avoid eye contact. "Uh, yeah I am."
Shoutlout nodded and stepped aside to let her in. Valka walked in and her father left the house after she entered in. She saw her mother braiding her hair as she walked in from the bedroom.
"Oh, hi darling, what are you doing here?"
"I just have a question."
"Okay, what is it?"
Valka took a deep breath before she asked her question. "What did you name my sister?"
Mrs. Jorgenson smiled and answered "her name was Dagny….Dagny Toril Jorgenson."

Later that evening, Stoick and Valka sat at the dining table to pick names. It was a weird feeling for Valka to name her deceased child, but she got some joy out of it. Yes, she was feeling joyful at the fact that she was going to name her son. Even though it wouldn't mean anything for the records, but it would mean a lot to her.
It took a few hours, but they finally decided on a name: Destin Trygve Haddock.
After they named their son, Valka knew she was on the road to recovering. Even though they never got to talk about having another child, she was happy to remember the child she had carried.
A/N: Fun facts about the names and why I picked them
Dagny means: New Day Started. I picked this one because a new day started for Mrs. Jorgenson after she finally named her child.
Toril means: Fight of Thor. I picked this one because The Jorgensons were fighting depression and possibility of getting a divorce after they lost their daughter.
Destin means: Determined. I picked this one because Valka is determined to live her life while she remembers her late son.
Trygve means: Worth of Trust. I picked this one because Valka and Stoick have learned to trust each other during the hard times, mainly after they lost their son.
