"Dammit all!" Vi-vi screamed in such rage. Kimberly stood rooted to her place clenching and unclenching her fists. At first, it didn't seem strange but now… It all made sense. These five were after them the whole time. Only two though fought for the same person. Braxton and John wanted Brianna, Chris is chasing Diana, Roy is leaning towards Val, while Kimberly got Mack. Slowly losing her energy, she fell to her knees in complete shock and disbelief. Never have she thought that Mack, one she always thought was evil since the beginning was the one who actually helped her back in 7th grade.

~~~~~~~Flashback~~~~~~~~
The white halls were silent as half of the school is in gym or outside having lunch. The sunlight was hitting the windows and shining in the classrooms without needing to actually turn on the lights. It was silent and peaceful but all that ended as hurried steps echoed off the walls. Trying to get away from the group that was following her is making her tired and her feet ache from the running outside and the fast steps she was taking from inside the building. She didn't dare look back, as her black hair was blowing behind as her speed created a small amount of wind.
Making a quick turn to her right, she collided into another being that both fell from the impact to the floor with a thud. Slightly moaning in pain and rubbing her forehead, she looked at who she accidently bumped into. His hair was brown with some streaks darker than the others with bangs slightly covering his eyes and it was slightly longer than normal and his eyes were a more of a lighter brown compared to his hair. He wore a dark blue navy hoodie with the sleeves rolled up, his pants were much darker than his hoodie almost as if it was black. His shoes were the Nike brand black and white sports sneakers.
He got up while smoothing out his clothes before giving out a head to the girl. Slightly surprised, she looked up only to be met with a small smile fall upon his face. Hesitating, she put her hand in his and pulled her up with so much force that a small yelp escaped from her lips from the sudden action. Her face was soon met with a strong chest forming a small blush on her face. Regaining her sudden thoughts and surroundings, she backed away from the boy who helped her.
Dusting her clothes and trying to make it more presentable did she finally speak. "What's your name?" The boy didn't answer right away causing the girl to feel uncomfortable by the way his eyes bore into her. "Mack. You?" His voice was soft but firm but it also held a small child-like tone in the back of it. Looking up to the pair of brown eyes that seemed to weld a certain spark she answered. "I'm Kimberly. I'm sorry for crashing into you." The boy merely chuckled and this made a small smile to grace her lips at the sound of it. "No problem but why were you-" His sentence was cut short as the group chasing the girl finally caught up to her.
On the outside, she didn't say anything but showed disgust though on the inside, she was scared about what was to happen. Without thinking, she hid behind Mack for protection out of instinct. "Stupid girl! Do you really think you can get away with this?!" The leader of the group asked but it was more like a demand than anything. It was slightly deeper than a normal teenager should have but puberty must have hit him early. He was a year older with short spiked black hair. His eyes were just a little different blue with an ugly intention hidden. He had piercings on his nose, ears, and mouth. He wore more black punk clothes with a skull in the middle of his shirt.
Mack obviously knew something was up if you were hiding behind scared like a small animal running from its prey. Standing up for her, he spoke in a monotone voice. "Why not leave the girl alone? It's not like she did something wrong." One of the members from the group spoke. "Not like she did something wrong? She ratted us out about stealing some stuff from the students. We got detention for a week, talked to the damn principle, and let's not even start with damn parents either." At this, Mack just raised his eyebrow. "You were stealing. Why would anyone keep quiet about it?" By now, everyone was growling. "All she needed to do was shut her trap but no. She just HAD to interfere with us. Now we're gonna make her pay."
At those words, Kimberly's hands clung onto Mack's hoodie in fear of what might be done. Looking over his shoulder, he saw how much the girl was shaking, and saw the fear in her eyes. "Just hand her over." Turning his head back around to face the crowd, he glared at them. "No." Silence took over only for a few seconds before the leader spoke. "Did you just say no to me you brat?" Smirking, Mack felt the rush of energy flow through his veins about the outcome of this all. He unzipped his jacket and handed it to the girl. "Hold this for me." Before turning back and replying to the guy in front of him. "Yeah. I said no and me a brat? More like you guys are cowards trying to hurt a girl." With a growl, one command was spoken from the leader. "Get him!"
They all charged at boy who was grinning from ear to ear. He charged right back as Kimberly took a few steps back afraid of the fight that's happen before the girl. Her eyes widened as already two of the people fell from the group onto the floor as 4 more was left standing. They started to surround Mack and she felt like he wasn't going to win. Clutching his jacket close to her chest, the fight in front of her kept on raging. One of them charged recklessly thinking he had the chance to punch Mack but it was stopped midway and only to be thrown to one of the other members that were around the ring.
Astonishment was written all over her face at how strong the boy that she fell to the floor with is still standing without breaking a sweat. One of the members ran off crying for his mother while the leader stood there in complete fear of being beaten. Mack walked up to him and grabbed him by the collar. "If I see you anywhere near her again, I promise you, I won't let you off. Now go." The leader nodded to understand the words being spoken. Once his collar was let go, he ran down the hall away from those two. The other 4 were on the floor either crying in pain, or calling for help. The brown-haired boy snickered at the sounds and sight. "What a bunch of losers." He said quietly before casually walking up to Kimberly who was holding onto his jacket closely.
"Can I have my jacket back now?" Shaking out of her surprised state, she handed back his jacket without uttering a word. He put it back on and zipped it up before meeting those black orbs that had a light feeling which he couldn't express into words. Those orbs met his and for a few seconds, no words needed to be spoken. A sudden emotion was welling up inside of him as he never really met someone like this. Smiling, he placed his hand out in front of her making the girl snap her head back up to see what he wanted. Raising a brow, the boy spoke. "What? I'm just asking for a pretty girl to hold my hand so I can lead her back to where she came from." The girl blushed even more before slowly, placing her small hand in his. A small spark was felt through both of them as if they were to magnets being pulled together.
Mack gripped her hand firmly and smiled before turning around and walking away from the injured students. Kimberly followed behind him but before they both left, Mack stopped and turned towards the guys in the hall. "If I ever see you guys lay a hand on her, you won't live long enough to see broad daylight again." This slightly surprised the girl as she never knew someone can be very protective over a stranger and it seems that the ones who were less injured understood that it's best not to mess with those two. Once again, beginning to walk away from the scene with the girl behind him, they left the school building.
~~~~~~~~End of Flashback~~~~~~~~

"Kim?" Vi-vi asked quietly. By now, the world has been shut off as the girl stayed where she was. Unmoving and irresponsive to her friend. 'Dear gods, what else do I need to know?' Kimberly thought to herself. 'What else do you need to show me before I understand what this is all about?'

~~~~~~~~Over to Diana and Brianna~~~~~~~~
Both females were in a similar dungeon and tied up but injured and still unconscious. Brianna had a few cuts to her face and bruises that was littered in different areas, some running along her arms, and a wound on her left leg. Almost like a knife has been pierced there. Diana had a few cuts on her face as well but bruises littered across her skin and body. Some hidden but some were not and it was somewhat swelling. None of them stirred as if they were sleeping but not dead as you can see their chests moving up and down into slow gentle breathes. What happened to them? They fought back and many times tried to run away.
During their capture, they tried to flee but only to be brought back again struggling to escape once more. Their captors impatience was wearing thin and soon enough, more force was used to insure they wouldn't be able to get away so easily. Both females soon began to slowly give in as the pain they felt was much greater than their own will to fight back. The door to their dungeon creaked up to reveal three boys that are the same as the two lying on the floor. As they entered, they circled around the girls and stared with blank faces. Until one broke the silence with a gentle and light tone but in monotone voice.
"I thought we told them to leave these two unharmed." He spoke. He wore clothes similar to Roy but had a bigger built and muscular stature. A sword was strapped to his side as a knife was hidden within his clock. His eyes were a forest green and his hair was a light brown that has been slicked back to one side. He normally doesn't smile but when he does, you can't but smile. "Well, John, I thought you did but apparently not." The one next to John spoke in a rather irritated voice. He was scrawny in many eyes but one wrong move, and you'll find yourself on the floor with a broken nose and black eye. His clothes were much different from the other two. His is similar to Sima Yi but only darker with both silver and gold lining. His hair is a light to medium brown and his eyes are crystal blue similar to the color of the ocean.
John glared daggers. "Oh and you think I'm responsible for it? I figured you are capable of putting them into their place. I guess you are pathetic Chris." He whipped his head and sent him the most deadliest glare. "Do you want to fight?" John scoffed. "Fight you? Ha! I'd win in a heartbeat." This only added more fuel to the fire. "Wanna bet asshole?" John chuckled. "Oh hell yes, and if I win-" His sentence was cut off as a quiet, deep but calm voice spoke out. "Both of you shut up." This silenced both of them easily as they stared at the quiet male. He had normal stature but had more muscle then average. He wore a very dark blue shirt, with tight pants to go along with it. His boots were reached half way to his knee as a knife was hidden on the right side, as his cloak had ancient but beautiful designs as it was a painting reaching near his ankles. His eyes were a fiery red and his hair was black as the night with a shaggy hairstyle but his bangs only covered half his forehead.
"What should we do then Braxton?" Roy asked while looking away. Kneeling down, he gently turned both of the females over to lay straight before standing up and staring at them again. This caused an awkward atmosphere for the other two. Chris coughed lightly into his fist as this wasn't something he was use to seeing since it seemed Braxton was always the coldest out of all of them. "We should go the medical unit to tend their wounds and lock them in a room until later." Roy and Chris looked at each other before shrugging. "Sounds good to me." Roy said as he began to walk out the door.
Chris turned and began to follow him before he stopped to turned slightly to the other male still standing there. "Come on Brax, we need to go talk to Cao Cao." Braxton tilted his head slightly before looking back down at the two females once more. He closed his eyes and sighed. This wasn't going as they planned but at least they have them in their hands. Opening his eyes again, he nodded before walking out towards the door as well. Chris, stood in his spot even after Braxton passed by him, and turned his head to look at the girls once more time before closing the door and leaving the two females to be tended for later.
~~~~~~~~Flashback of Brianna and Diana~~~~~~~~

The two girls were sitting on the grass outside behind the school building. The sun was shining brightly in the sky as the wind blew gently. Who wants to be inside when the weather is so nice? Brianna took a deep breathe before laying down with her arms spread wide open like asking for a hug. "It's so nice out here…" Diana nodded in agreement. Almost lazy to speak but she just doesn't want to ruin the peaceful moment in nature. Times like these are to treasure as they hardly get to relax with so many problems going on. Both of them began to slowly close their eyes to allow nature engulf them with its bliss.

As the duo began to slowly drift off to sleep, it was suddenly interrupted as loud laughter rang throughout the field. The two opened their eyes and Brianna sat up quickly in surprise as they turned their heads to the source. There was a group of guys coming closer to where they were at to play football as one of them kept throwing it in the air. There was probably about 10-13 people but it was a bit difficult to count. Though the guys' laugher slowly died down as they realized that their not the only ones there. One of them came up to them with a large smile on his face. He wore a black t-shirt and shorts that were made for exercise or just something comfortable to wear. He wore matching socks and sneakers. His eyes were the color of a forest green while his hair was light brown with small spikes here and there.

He smiled brightly at them. "Hey, sorry to interrupt but is it okay we play here?" The two looked at each other before shrugging and looked back at the boy in front of them nodding. His eyes beamed with happiness. "Sweet! Thank you. My name is John. What about the lovely maidens?" At this, the two blushed and looked down in embarrassment. "I'm Diana. This is Brianna." Said the girl with reddish, brown hair. "I see! Very beautiful and fitting names for two beautiful girls!" He said with an eye smile. Brianna giggled. "Thank you." He was going to add a comment until another voice interrupted him. "Dude! Stop flirting and get over here!" At this, John gave an apologetic smile before turning around and running over to his friends. "I wasn't flirting! I was simply asking for their names!" The guy laughed. "Yeah, sure, that's the only thing you wanted to ask."

John glared. "Shut it Chris." He had on a wrestling outfit. The shirt was black and sleeveless while wearing matching shorts. He had on ankle white socks and black sneakers. His crystal blue eyes shined in the sun and his hair was somewhat brighter than his normal color. The two were about to continue their argument until another voice chimed in. "We're here to play. Not to fight." Both heads turned and gave a deadly glare to the newcomer. "No one wants to hear you talk Braxton!" He smirked. This guy was wearing dark blue jeans and a green t-shirt that said 'DEATH' with a picture of a skull in the middle. His eyes were pure red as if blood is ready to spill, and his hair is pitch black and it's spiked. "Tsk, and no one wants to hear little chickens fighting."

This fueled both of them up. "WHAT?!" The other players groaned. "Come on! Let's get the game started!" Everyone got into their teams and as soon as the mark was set off, each side began to tackle one or the other. This sparked some interest for both the girls as they watched the boys play football while scoring points and causing some sort of ruckus. As the game went though, the two caught the eyes of the other three who were more interested in them rather than the game. None less, the game soon ended with them all collapsing on the ground in exhaustion and making the two who were watching laugh. "Let's go home now yeah?" Brianna said as her dark brown hair blew with the wind. "Yeah. Let's go." They both got up and began to walk away but before they plan on walking straight ahead without turning back, they gave one last look at the huge group that are lying down in the grass. "It was fun seeing you guys play!" Brianna shouted. "Hope you see you guys again!" Diana said before they both laughed and ran.

As they ran, the guys shouted their goodbyes before falling again with content smiles. "I hope we see them again…" Chris muttered. "I bet we will. I still want to get to know them." John added. Braxton chuckled before closing his eyes and enjoying the outdoor breeze and gentle warmth that settled upon them.

A/N: OMG! I finally updated this! I've just been so busy (even with school being over), I still have homework, and lots of things to do that I keep forgetting about updating T^T I'm sorry. I shall do my best to get this done and finish my one-shots as well.
