Dom: Just a short little drabble or one shot rather. I got the idea from an Imagine, but I'm not copying it. It was a two sentence Imagine and when I read it I really thought it was cute and my brain started working for a story so yeah, hope you enjoy

Kazuo was on the couch with his legs drawn in while reading a book: the Angel of Death to be exact. He stumbled upon the first book of the series by accident and he was immediately engrossed with it. Now, he's on the second book and while he's reading along, he's doing some mental calculations who killed Cameryn's teacher, Brad Oakes.

Pushing up his black-rimmed glasses up, he flipped the page and fixed his bangs to the side that were peeking out under his grey beanie.

"Kaz."

"…"

"Hey!"

"Hmm?"

"OI!"

"What?" he mumbled distractedly.

"Kazuo!" the person yanked the blue and black book away from his hands.

"What?!" Kazuo yelled and saw his boyfriend standing in front of him with an amused smile on his face, "What the hell was that for? Give back my book!"

Yamamoto pouted, "Oh, c'mon Kaz, will you please cuddle with me? I haven't seen you in months and now that I'm back, you got your nose stick in your books."

Kazuo rolled his eyes, "You've been gone for only 2 months, Takeshi. Besides you know this is the life of a baseball star. You practice and travel a lot, I understand that."

"But it sucks though," Yamamoto whined and put the book by a shelf, marking the page Kazuo left off, "I don't get to see you or Tsuna. Everyone. I miss you. Them," he said softly as he embraced Kazuo and both boys cuddled on the couch.

Kazuo reached out an arm and wrapped it around Yamamoto's waist as he laid his head on the tan boy's broad chest, "And we miss you too, but look on the bright side you get to do the thing you love."

Yamamoto hummed and put his chin on Kazuo's head. "Help me with my pictures?"

Kazuo rolled his eyes, but nodded. He stood up and held out a hand for the taller boy to take.

Yamamoto grinned and excitedly dashed out of the living room and took out a packet of pictures and a pen.

"You look like a kid on Christmas Day," Kazuo commented, amused.

Yamamoto leaned down and tried to steal a kiss. Keyword: tried.

When Kazuo turned his head, Yamamoto frowned as his lips touched the other's cheek, "How come you won't let me kiss you?"

Kazuo sighed, "Takeshi, we already talked about this."

"I know. I know. You want our first kiss to be special." Yamamoto grumbled, "But we've been dating for 3 months—"

"You haven't even taken me to a real, proper date yet," Kazuo interrupted with an amused expression.

"So what you're saying if I took you to a proper date, you'll kiss me?" Yamamoto cheekily asked.

"Maybe. Maybe not. Come on, let's sign your pictures," Kazuo told him.

The two were sprawled out on the ground with Yamamoto's pictures/posters scattered around. They were just content on spending time with each other. The athlete signs while the other organizes it in neat piles.

Looking up from his work, Yamamoto took a glance at his boyfriend. He let out a fond smile. Kazuo is such an adorable dork and he's his adorkable cutie.

"Stop staring or I'll poke your eyes with this Sharpie," Kazuo held up the marker pen while threatening. Honestly, Yamamoto can be weird at times and it totally creeps him out. It made him wonder why the hell he agreed to date the idiot.

The two were polar opposites in the social cliques of their elite academy. Yamamoto was in the top crowd being the baseball ace and just being friendly to his peers, which earned him a good reputation to everyone. Not to mention, he was affiliated with Sawada. The most popular guy around in high school.

While he, Kazuo, was more of a loner. At the bottom of the pyramid. Only hanging out with chosen people who can be deemed as close friends.

So, imagine his shock when in one of Yamamoto's games (he was forced to go by his best friend, Sango) during the break, the stadium became dark and then the bright lights were centered on him. The seats across from him suddenly lit, spelling out "Will you go out with me, Kazuo Higurashi?" and to add more to his embarrassment, his face was shown in the screen for everyone to see his reaction.

It got worse of course.

At the bottom part of the bleachers/seat, there was an outline of a man and when the lights focused on him, it revealed to be none other than Takeshi Yamamoto holding flowers. Blue roses that were the exact same shade of his exotic eyes.

He was standing there, grinning sheepishly as he held out the flowers to take.

How could Kazuo say 'no' to that face?

Shaking his head from his thoughts, Kazuo lightly glared at him when he saw that Yamamoto still had that damn expression painted on his face, "Takeshi, I swear to God if you don't stop I'm going to draw a mustache on your face!"

Yamamoto grinned at his boyfriend's (he loves the saying/thinking that) reaction. He reached for Kazuo's arm and started writing on it.

"Hey! What the hell?" Kazuo tried to get back his arm, but to no avail. He stopped struggling once he realized that there was no escape. When Yamamoto was done with his business with his arm, he got curious and checked it out.

It was his signature.

Yamamoto grinned, "Now, everyone will know you're mine."

He quickly closed the gap between them and let their lips touched briefly before pulling away. He laughed when he saw the light flush that appeared on the other's face, "I'm sorry I really couldn't resist."

Kazuo rolled his blue eyes. Since he already stole a kiss, what's stopping him from kissing the baka now?

"You're an idiot," Kazuo mumbled before pulling him in a proper kiss. When they pulled apart, Kazuo promptly laughed out loud when he spotted the dark blush on the ace's face.
