Sister of the Pharaoh: Hey all! Chapter three! Here we go! Whoo!
Disclaimer: I own nothing
Miyuki sat there on the bed in the guest room. Yoko had left to put together a room for her and get her some clothes. Miyuki had so many thoughts going through her head. What would she do? Should she except Yoko's offer? What would happen if the warriors from Creed's clan defeated Yoko's fighters and kidnapped her again?
Just as these questions began to swirl in her mind, the door slid open. Making Miyuki jump as she turned to see Ritsuka come in. She was carrying a tray of food and some tea in her hand. A small smile graced her face as she spoke.
"Hey there. Yoko asked me to bring you some food. I'm Ritsuka, second in command under Hiei. You're Miyuki, right?"
"Y-yes...Are they..."
"Huh?" Ritsuka asked as she slightly titled her head to the side.
"Are Creed's warriors, gone?" Miyuki asked shyly.
"Aha! Oh don't you worry about them. Those guys weren't even a challenge. Didn't take us long before we turned those losers into food for Yoko's trees out front." Ritsuka said as she sat the tray of food down on the side table.
"So...that means...I'm free now..." Miyuki whispered.
As the realization hit her, Miyuki cried and covered her face with her hands. Feeling overjoyed and yet incredibly sad. For she was the only one from her clan who survived. Yes she was free, but she never felt more alone than right then. The survivors guilt hit her hard and Miyuki's whole body started shaking. Ritsuka placed an arm around Miyuki's shoulder and rubbed her back gently.
"I know, I was the same. Those basters took my family away too. I probably wouldn't have anything if Kurama and Hiei never found me. Kurama's a good person you know. He's someone who can truly be trusted." Ritsuka said as she spoke.
"You know him well?" Miyuki asked.
"Oh yes. I have for years. Kurama is very kind, Loyal, a bit flirty, but never abandons anyone in need. However he also has a ruthless side that one must never cross. Not if they want to live. He is my friend as well as the others here. And I'm sure they could be your friends too, once you're comfortable here. That is if you plan on staying." Ritsuka answered.
She then stood up and placed the tray of food on Miyuki's lap before turning to leave.
"Try to eat something but take it slow. Yoko will come by later to check on you again."
Miyuki nodded as Ritsuka gave her a small smile before leaving. She closed the door softly and turned to her left to see Hiei standing against the wall. Which she guessed was where he was standing for a while. Hiei's eyes were focused and intense as Ritsuka hung her head in sadness. Her voice was a bit uneasy as she spoke to Hiei.
"You know, Miyuki's trust is going to be hard to gain. She not only lost her family, but was abused and made to be a royal play thing."
"It's more than that. She's now a rare class of demon. It's only a matter of time before we have hunters knocking on our door, coming to claim her. That could make her more trouble than she worth." Hiei answered.
"Perhaps, but that could also be in our favor. Besides we can't abandon her after what she's been through. I was the same once."
"Hmp, the more trouble someone is, the more you want to keep them." Hiei said as he left his spot from the wall and began to walk ahead.
"Well I kept you, didn't I?" Ritsuka asked with a smirk.
Hiei answered by turning slightly and gazing at Ristuka over his shoulder. He then grabbed her wrist and lead Ritsuka into the next empty room. Hiei pinned her against the wall in between his arms. Although the two of them seemed different in height, they were actually about the same. Allowing Hiei to gaze at Ritsuka straight in the eyes. His lips only inches away from hers.
Making it easy for Ristuka to feel his hot breath on her face as he spoke softly.
"Yes you did. And you're either brave or a fool to stay with me. You know exactly how dangerous I am yet you chose me a you're mate. I still have a hard time understanding why. But you're mine as much as I'm yours. I know better than anyone else. Don't ever forget that."
Ritsuka smiled at hearing those words. She then cupped Hiei's face and kissed him deeply. Throwing Hiei off for a second before he gave in. Ritsuka broke the kiss a second later and ran a tender hand slowly down Hiei's chest. He tried his best to hide a quite moan that escaped from his lips. Hiei's eyes were glazed over with lust as he stared back at Ritsuka. Who gave him a smirk as she spoke.
"Hiei, if you wanted to kiss me, you should've just done so. You don't have to be jealous. You're the only mate I'll ever have."
Hiei smirked back and kissed Ritsuka in return. Making his way towards her neck while taking in Ritsuka's enticing scent. His brown-red eyes closed in contentment as he did so. Hiei then stopped his advances a few moments later and gazed at Ritsuka once more. Seeming a bit more calm as he sighed while resting his head in the crook of Ritsuka's neck.
"You know full well why I was jealous. You almost never open up about your past that easily with anyone." Hiei said as he let Ritsuka stroke his hair.
She was the only one he would allow to perform such an act on him.
"Maybe, but the only reason I'm able now is because I opened up to you. You're the only one who will truly know and understand me Hiei. So please, don't be upset."
"If you say so." Hiei said as he pulled away and walked out of the room.
"If we have to take the girl in, that's fine. But we'll have to find another solution if she's more trouble than she's worth."
With that, Hiei headed down the hall way. Making Ritsuka smile as she walked behind him.
