Scarlet didn't like this. Well, Scarlet didn't like a lot of things, but this was probably on the top of her list. She had many, so many excuses not to be there, but the Doctor just flashed some psychic paper or waived around his sonic, making it impossible for her to say no. So now she was sitting in a lecture hall, wearing a fancy dress with a suit jacket, and teaching college students about American History, (The Doctor must of thought it was hilarious to give her such a subject) but for what reason? She didn't know.
It wasn't that she hated wearing fancy clothing,(Which she did) she was also terribly awful with her people skills. She thought it must be a Time Lord thing, but she wasn't sure. Another thing was being in some horrible fancy British college, full of a bunch of snotty rich kids in their awkward pastel suit jackets. Everything about this situation was not to her liking. When all the students walked in and sat in the large lecture hall the Doctor stationed her in, she nervously smiled with the bright red lipstick Clara forced her to put on. Scarlet wished she was with Clara, but alas, her psychic paper told the rest of the faculty she was teaching English Composition, which was on the other side of the campus.
A student raised her hand.
"Uhh, I haven't actually stared teaching yet, but what is your question?" Scarlet asked nervously.
"Are you a lesbian?" the young woman asked bluntly.
"Does it matter to you if I am?" Scarlet answered sternly. The girl actually looked afraid.
"No, Professor, It's just my English Comp. Professor has the same last name, I was just curious." Scarlet sighed. I bet the Doctor thought it was funny to admit two Prof. Oswalds on the same day. Sometimes she wonders how people actually believe him.
"No, that actually happens to be my sister, now can you please hold the rest of your questions until I actually start teaching?" The girl quickly nodded her head and sat back down. Today was going to be a long day.

To be honest, being a professor wasn't that difficult. Scarlet wondered why people wanted a job where they could just hear themselves talk for hours on end, then she remembered that she loved hearing herself talk for hours on end. Scarlet almost laughed out loud when multiple students didn't know when Columbus discovered the Americas. They all gave her funny looks when she sang the rhyme to go with it. "Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492." She was a little more than halfway through the three hour lecture when the Doctor stepped into the room. If Scarlet had never seen the Doctor before, she would actually say he looked pretty nice, all thanks to her of course.
He wore a pair a jeans which were neatly tucked into his black boots, a light purple dress shirt which was tucked into the jeans and secured by a black belt, and his hair was jelled back instead of flopping in front of his face. Scarlet actually heard a few girls take deep breaths as he came into the lecture hall.
"Don't mind me," He called out to the college students. "I just need to borrow your Professor for a second...I'm Doctor Smith by the way, the new physics Professor. The Doctor pulled her out the classroom just slow enough so she could hear a couple girls squeal, probably glad that they had physics next.
"I need your help." He said as they entered the hallway.
"Oh, so now your going to finally tell me what we are here for?" Scarlet asked.
"Yes, well kind of...people keep staring at me!"
"Yeah, that's because your dressed nice."
"What if I was to tell you I was looking for someone who particularly can sense a Time Lord and the only way I could find them is if they were staring at me like a stalker!" The Doctor hissed, waiving his hands in the air.
"Then you have an extremely specific problem." Scarlet slightly smiled, she liked watching the Doctor distressed, maybe it was hanging with these horrible children for so long that made her want anything British to suffer. "Wait, are you trying to tell me that you are using yourself as bait?"
"No, I'm using you as bait, since I couldn't figure it out with all these young women staring at me!"
"Fine, I'll be your bait, as long as you enjoy the attention your getting. Go eat lunch with one of the other professors or something."
"But lunch isn't for another 3 hours." The Doctor said.
"Then make plans for lunch, I've got to go, you know, that class I'm teaching."
"Your enjoying this." The Doctor said smiling.
"Just a little," Scarlet called back as she closed the door to the lecture hall.

As her second class filed out of the hall, she heard a weird noise coming from behind her podium. Instinctively, she reached for the tool belt that wasn't there. She seriously had to stop going into such situations without any weapons. She quietly sneaked around the podium (Which was difficult with the heels she borrowed from Clara) and saw...nothing. Well, except her purse, well Clara's purse, where she heard the noise come out of. She quickly opened it to see a phone. Oh, now she remembered, phones vibrated back in 2013. It looked like an earlier version of the IPhone 10 which she had back when she was a kid. She pushed the green button with her painted nail and put the hunk of metal to her ear.
"Hello?" She asked.
"Hey, Scarlet, It's Clara. Meet us in the Café across the block for lunch."
"When you mean us, you mean..."
"The Doctor and I."
"Can you put him on the phone for a second."
"Yeah sure." The voice over the phone changed.
"Hello Scarlet, come here quickly, they have these little nibbles that're delicious!"
"Doctor, when I said invite someone to lunch, I didn't mean Clara and I."
"Why, What's wrong with you and Clara?"
"Nothing, never mind. I'll be there in 5 minutes." Scarlet hung up the phone before she could get a response and put it and the little amount of things she had brought into her purse. She swung it over her shoulder and walked out of the lecture hall.

The hallways were pretty empty, probably because most students were either eating lunch or in class. Scarlet quickly trotted down the hall, her heels making a clacking noise wherever she planted her foot. She walked fast, trying so hard to get out of that damned place, but something stopped her. From one of the empty rooms, she saw a flash of white light. She peered through the small window on the door but just saw darkness. Ignoring her grumbling stomach, she opened the door to see what was inside.
