Dave First-date Strider I watch Dirk's face start to fucking glow as he sees the pier and all the performers along the street. I park the car and walk to his side to open his door. "So do you like it?" I ask scratching my head a little nervously as he looks at all the people around getting some tourist-like fun. Maybe it's too crowded...
"This is hella cool, is something happening?" He asks
"I think there's a firework show... but I thought we could go to the arcade play some games, get some crappy prizes and ride the rollercoasters or something." I shrug
"Awesome, let's go!" He smirks grabbing my hand and walking to the boardwalk quickly. "I've never even been here before." He smiles softly looking at the beach from the boardwalk.
"Yeah?" I ask, I grip his hand a little tighter and smile when he looks at me, "Let's come once the water's warm enough to swim in." I suggest, "We'll bring the trolls and have a beach party."
"That sounds... fun." He smiles I lean in and kiss him softly.
"Fuck you're cute Dirk." I kiss his cheek and hold up our food from Someplace, "Let's eat our breakfast real quick and we'll go about the date." I open the boxes and note he's eatting with a small smile on his face the whole time. "What's got you 'all up and mirthful brother'?" I imitate as I ask Dirk.
"I'm... happy." HE smiles wider
"Yeah?" I ask honestly surprised this was all I needed to make him happy.
"Yeah... you're here, with me at the beach... It's really... nice."
"Fuck you're cute..." I repeat, and smirk as I see the blush under his shades, I kiss his cheek and nod toward the arcade, "Wanna go play?"
"Yeah." He smiles and rushes towards the ski-ball "Let's have a match..."
"You're so on" I grin
I'm standing in line next to Dirk for some ice cream that he's buying. I sigh as he pulls out his wallet once it's our turn, "C'mon Dirk lemme buy I invited you out." I groan while sending a text out to Gamzee.
"I ain't a helpless girl, plus I lost by 10 points. I'm buying, now order." He smirks
"That was in the 13th round, who knows who won..." I grin
"I know, AR kept score, I lost. The robotic shit won't stop rubbing it in... Not that he did anything" He shrugs, "Now I'm buying."
"Pfft, fiiiine." I mock sigh and look at the flavors, there's the standard ones so I smirk at Dirk, "I want ALL the flavors." I smirk
"Really?" he chuckles
"Yup. ALL the flavors. On a waffle cone."
"Okay, 2 of those please." He says straight-faced to the wide-eyed girl behind the counter.
"Uhhh... okay, that'll be... $24.00... Will that be all... sir?" She smiles softly at Dirk who just hands her the cash and shakes his head.
"Nah, that'll be all for me and my girlfriend here." He smirks at her eyes getting even bigger and she tries not to stare at me. I snort and try to keep my chuckles silent as she stammers.
"Oh...OH! Oh- okay... one moment please!" She turns red and goes to make them and I look at Dirk's grin.
"That was cruel bro..." I sigh catching my breath, "Did you see her eyes?"
"Yeah well did you catch her flirty tone?" He shrugged smiling, "It's flattering but I gotta let her down someway."
"Pfft, I wouldn't even give you a chance to look at someone else." I growl teasingly and nip his ear before I grab out ice cream. "Now let's eat these and get to some more fun."
"Oh yeah?" He bites his lip and smirks at me. All I want to do is kiss those damned things. "What kind of fun Dave?"
"The ironic kind, going on the merry-go-round, kiddie bumper cars, something like that." I smile, "Gamzee saved us some free armbands for unlimited rides for the park on the pier." I feel my smile widen as his face brightens a bit.
"Even the ferris wheel?"
"Yeah, wanna ride that first?" I point
"I wanna wait 'til tonight..." He shrugs lightly and licks his ice cream, "wanna walk toward the theme park and eat these sugar bombs?"
"Hells yeah." I nod and grab his hand that's not holding a pound of sugar and cow juice. I lightly swing my hand with his and I feel him tighten his hand on mine. I glance at him from the side and he's looking straight ahead; the only way I know he's happy is the slight quirk in his lips and the faint blush he's got going on. I start to hum softly and walk beside him. I finish the ice cream and we both throw our trash away and turn to him, "What first?"
"I wanna ride ALL the rides..." He mocks me from earlier so I nod and lead him to the kiddie park we're next to first, I stand in line with him and after we get the armbands we head for a toddler caterpiller ride, it's just an oval with a 1 foot hill, the ride operator looks at us before shaking his head and I squeeze in the front since Dirk called dibs on the back.
"OH NO! Diiiiiirk the HILL is coming!" I cry out, "Eeeeeek!" I ironically squeal as I feel the carts go up then down.
"Noooo Dave! I'm scared!" He wails and I cry harder, the toddlers in the middle are just giggling at us as we go around the track 3 or 4 times before the man stops the little ride and I jump out.
"Sweet non-moving Earth! I missed you!" I sigh and hug the man before skipping away. Dirk strolled right next to me and grabbed my hand.
"Dork" He chuckles as he walks, stopping my ironic skipping.
"An ironic one, and you love it." I smirk
"Still a dork dude." I just shrug and swing our hands a bit before looking at all the rides.
"So where next Dirk?" I smirk
We spent the day riding everything, some we even rode the mirthful-go-round 12 times in a row and won each other some cheesy prizes, Dirk got me a red and black tiger, I won Dirk an orange wolf. We shared cotton candy, funnel cake, pizza; and any other unhealthy foods we could find. It was finally dark and I ushered Dirk onto the ferris wheel and sat right next to in the cabin. The door shut and we started going up.
"This... was the best day...ever." Dirk sighed, leaning onto me. "Thank you."
I wrapped my arms around him and ducked my head into the crook of his neck. "Anytime... you name it, and we'll go out again." I mumbled into his neck.
"Yeah? Sugoi." He sighs again and turns to face me, I lift my head to look at him. He takes off my shades and his own. "Dave?" He murmurs softly
"Yes Dirk?" I smile at his sudden shyness.
"I love you." He grins
I blink because he hadn't said it first to me but I feel my face pull into a huge smile, "I love you too." I kiss him softly. His hands are in between our chests clutching my shirt and I cup his cheek and nape. "Love you so much babe..." I sigh
"Mmm..." he hums and wraps his arms around my neck. "Thank you." He grins
"For what?" I ask
"Finding me..." He whispers
"I'm just as thankful... thanks for wanting me..." I return
"I do want you." Dirk smiles
"Good, because I'm not sharing." I grin, I turn him around in my lap and we watch as we get to the top of the wheel and stop.
"Wow..." Dirk leans forward to look at the ocean, and I see the fireworks start to shoot off. He smiles and the colors shine off his face and make his blond hair glow. I pull my camera out of my sylladex and take a few. I just watch Dirk. If you were to ask me what the fireworks looked like I couldn't tell you... Nor would I regret that. "Isn't it pretty?" He asks
"Beautiful." I answer, still looking at him. I snap another photo before putting it back and holding Dirk in my arms. We lapse into a silence as he watches the show and I watch him. He leans back against my chest, sitting on my lap and sighs.
"Dave?" He whispers looking down into our laps.
"Yeah?"I ask, he's even shyer now.
"I...I mean could you- fuck this is uncool... Dave, I want to...I mean..." He groans at his stammering so I lift his chin up and kiss him softly on the lips.
"What is it Dirk?" I smile, "its okay." I honestly hope he wants something, I would love to give him a present.
"I want us to sleep together." He blushes, he looks so cute and I know what he means but I kind of want to tease him.
"We already do?" I quirk my head and smile.
"I know that you know what I mean dude." He pouts, "But never mind..." He sighs acting uninterested. So I lean against him and let my hand roam under his shirt to his nipple and my other hand to his thigh, dangerously close to his growing hard-on.
"I know that you know that I know Dirk..." I whisper in his ear and trace up his chest, making him shiver. "You mean you want us in bed, naked, moaning in the throes of hot guy sex. You under me as I whisper to you everything you want and more so... you want me to take you home and make sure we don't even sleep until you can't even move anymore... right?" I growl at the end and nip his earlobe while I tweak his harden bud.
"Sh-shit Dave..." He shudders in my lap, moving on my hardening member and I groan.
"Are you sure Dirk? Because I won't EVER let you go if I take you..." I growl
"Yes..." He whines trying to get my hand to touch him.
"Okay, let's go home. We're almost to the bottom." I smirk and slide him off my lap. I put his shades on his face and kiss him before I replace mine.
"Teasing little shit..." He groans at me, covering his pants with the orange wolf. I take his hand to touch my bulging pants and smirk.
"Same situation here babe. So move your ass..." I grin as the door opens and we leave the ferris wheel.
"Bet that won't be the last time you say that tonight." Dirk smirks at me.
"Hell no." I grin, we decide to flash step to the truck, and I take his hand in mine as we head home. And to bed.
