Dave Delicious Strider here, I'm walking toward Tav's room with Dirk in tow. We bought some snacks and some fidu-spawn cards from the convienience store before coming.
"So Tavros plays this huh? Isn't there an anime of this coming out?" I ask
"Yeah, Tavros thinks its better than Poke`mon..." Dirk chuckled before we rounded the corner and saw the door open to his room, Terezi sniffed and cackled.
"Hey Strider and Lalonde! You smell different?" She tilted her head and let us pass before sniffing mine and Dirk's neck. "Heheheh, you guys swapped clothes." She laughed
"Well shit someone call the Mayor, we're all up and disguising each other. This is a plot to wreck your shit." I rant, I point my thumb at Dirk and smirk, "The prince is here, your shit is wrecked..."
"Heh, well come all up in and sit the mother fuck down, Tav-Bro's all up and moving..." Gamzee smiled, we all moved a little closer and I noticed Vriska biting her blue tinged lip. I held her hand while the other stroked Dirk's hand. She glanced at me and gave a small smile before turning to the waking Tavros.
"Mmm uh... Gamzee?"
"Heeeey bro, we're all here and ready to see you. Honk." Gamzee cooed to Tavros before helping him look at us. He lied face down so his spinal stitches would heal. I stepped forward a little and tugged Vriska up with me. She blushed but nodded and smiled when we came around in front of Tavros.
"Heeeeeeeey Taaaaaaaavros, get well soon kaaaaaaaay? Maybe we'll LARP again!" She winked, "I'll be more careful..." She whispered and Tavros smiled
"I uh, would like that a lot Vris- uh Mindfang. hehe" He laughed when Vriska blinked at her nickname I guess.
"Hey bro, Dirk and I got you some cards, You're gonna have to teach me this shit okay?" I smile and beckon Dirk over too, I hold his hand while Tavros opens the packet and smiles
"W-wow, a golden tinkerbull! That's the one I've been trying to get! uh, Thanks Dave, thanks Dirk! I'll uh teach you soon... is that okay?" He smiles nervously
"'Course dude, you just get better first." Dirk smiled
"Right on brothers now how about we get our motherfuckin party on?." Gamzee smiled and pulled some faygos and donuts out. "Let's all up and friend jam here my mirthful brothers and sisters." I nod and put my party mix on so Bro's and my beats are playing, I even downloaded Dirk's on. We all sit around the room and laugh, bicker, mess around. Karkat and I got into a talk about his pansexuallity and what it meant.
"So basically if you like them you like them?" I ask
"Yes nook whiffer I said that!" He growled lightly
"Yeah only like 4 times as long and shouty nubs." I smirk, I glance around and see Dirk is teaching Nepeta some tricks for anime drawing, and she's showing her ships. Vriska's talking with Terezi and Rose while Eridan and Feferi are rehearsing their lines with Kanaya, Sollux and Aradia. Equius is talking about some STRONG fidu-spawn card he saw while Gamzee is sitting at the foot of Tavros' bed. I smile and nudge Karkat, "This is pretty... cool."
"Dear gog someone call the information networking broadcasters, I do believe Strider was sincere!" Karkat gasp-ranted
"Dude, look around... this... is fucking awesome. I've never had real friends..." I sigh
"O-oh... sorry, I mean-" I pat his shoulder and chuckle,
"It's cool Kitkat, what I mean is I like you all way more than my previous school..." I smile, "It's like you guys don't care what the fuck is wrong with someone because you all own up to what's wrong with yourselves. It's pretty fucking cool."
"Uuuh well I mean... we've all know each other a while... and it all just clicked well when we got into Alternia High..." Karkat blushed, "This is way more pale then I thought..."
"Relax, we're bros Katkat." I smirk, "Unless you're too shy? Should I shout that you're my nubby buddy on top of the hospital?"
"Fuck no! Damn it Dave we were having a 'new bros for life' moment and you let deficate hit the whirling device and spray its putrid self all over this moment! Gog damn there is literally NO sentimentality here. NONE." He growled
"Aww don't be that way Karkles, look here," I took off my shades and smiled with my eyes closed, "All kinds of sentiment here." I put the shades back on before I opened them and saw Karkat huff.
"Why don't you take those off?" Karkat whispered, "It's not gonna freak us out... Dirk too... you guys never take your shades off."
I felt Dirk wrap his arms around me, "That's cause we're too shy." He smiled over my shoulder.
"Buuuuuuuullshit, you guys saw me cry! I wanna see some blonde boy eyes!" Vriska clued in on our talk.
"I wouldn't mind seeing your Dave." Rose grinned
"I bet you already know, Seer." I grin
"I bet they're purr-tty! Can we see?" Nepeta pouted
"Aw shit, she's pouting Dave..." Dirk groaned dramatically, "It's too kawaii!" He chuckled but glanced at me and shrugged, I nodded and took mine off, while Dirk took his off too. I opened my eyes and blinked from the unfiltered hospital light. I opened them fully and and smirked at Karkat's face.
"Don't fall for me Karkat."
"Oh fuck you!"
"That's what I just said not to do!" I laughed, I looked at Dirk and Nepeta was squealing and drawing his eyes. He looked at me and smiled, I smiled wider at his blush and moved in close and pecked his lips.
"EEEEEEE!" Nepeta squealed harder and started to draw like crazy while Equius blushed, Gamzee just gave me a thumbs up while Tavros blushed too. Vriska smirked and stuck her tongue out. Feferi and Aradia smiled while Eridan and Sollux bickered still about how 'lame' the lines for the play was while Kanaya told them to 'calm their female lactary nubs'.
I felt my pocket vibrate and saw Bro texted me asking me to pick up some food with the money I still had. I sent him back an 'ok' and stood up, "Okay, show's over, the shades are going back on." I put them back on and smirk, "gotta let your hearts beat normally again." I pat Tavros' leg, "See you later Tav, I gotta get-"
"Dave..." Tavros stopped me, "I... I felt that." Suddenly everyone stopped what they were doing.
"Tav-bro... you all up and felt that? What about this?" Gamzee softly touched under Tav's foot and it twitched.
"Th-that tickles Gamzee..." He smiles, tears start to form. "It... tickles."
"Tavros... your foot moved." Vriska pointed out, she touched under his other foot and his toe twitched, "IT MOOOOOOOOVED!" She shouted, Rose and Kanaya sped out of the room shouting she was going to get her mom.
"I can feel of of that..." Tavros smiled, "I can feel my legs..."
