So, after three years, I figure interested readers would want closure, which is what I am going to offer to you:
Brock had a child with Professor Ivy, and exiles himself to the Orange Islands for a year to make up for abandoning them all those years ago. Ash discovers about what Brock did, and it is only because of his father he forgives Brock. Brock's daugher, Venus, takes after her mother in looks except for her hair, which is Brock's. She and Ivy forgive him.
Tracey gets dumped by Daisy, and takes the role of father to Ash's new brother. Delia and him never enter a relationship, but they get along.
Misty is rejected by Delia at the end of the day, and accepts that fate. She later finds herself getting along well with Forrest, who is rejected by Dawn who is not interested in romance at the time. MistyxForrest by no mean set sail, but there is a boat in the water.
Red, Ash's father, dominates the Battle Frontier until they get to Anabel's, where he faces Ash instead. After a hard fought victory by Ash and a more inflamed conversation during that battle, Ash's realizes his fears were unfounded and happily takes Anabel in her arms and asks her to marry him. Red leaves, understanding he is not ready to confront Kanto still, but hopes one day he is strong enough to face it, symbolizing his desire to be a father to Ash.
The story would end with Brock, Ivy, and Venus visiting Pallet Town. They have a giant dinner at Oak's. Delia has her second son Crimson, who looks alot like his father. Everybodies fear's are calmed by this one happy situation.
