Chapter 9
Back in the present.
Emma, Henry, Mary Margret, and David wrapped their arms around each other as they were reunited once more. Emma, then, unwrapped her arms as she looked upon the others in attendance.
"Regina, Mr Gold, Belle?" she said in confusion. "You're here too?"
"Well, Emma, it was either that we help the Charmings get here or be stuck with them whining so, yeah, we're here." Regina answered as Emma smiled.
"Excuse me, did you forget about me, love?" Hook asked with a near broken heart.
"How can I ever forget about you, Hook?" she said as she walked over and hugged him. "Okay, now that we have gotten that out of the way, next thing is telling me just how the hell did you guys get here? I thought Asgard was out of Earth's reach, even magically."
"Tis true, Emma Swan." Sif confirmed. "The fact they are here, without Heimdell magic is beyond me?"
"And just who the hell are you... Xena?" Regina wondered.
"She's Lady Sif, the goddess of war." Henry answered the question.
"Aye, and you are the child I've been hearing so much about." Sif replied.
"Really?" Henry said looking at Emma with a smile.
"What?" Emma replied doing the same to Henry.
Suddenly everyone heard running footstep coming behind them. It was Volstagg, Fandral, and Hogan coming to get the two female warriors.
"Sif, Miss Swan you are needed in the dungeon cells." Volstagg said out of breath due to his weight.
"Aye, there is a riot coming about from within walls." Fandral finished.
"Well, looks like we've got work to do." Emma said as she held out her hand waiting for her weapon.
"Whoa." Henry exclaimed as the hammer zipped to his mothers hand.
"Cool, right?" Emma said.
"Now, TO BATTLE!" Volstagg yelled.
"Wait, Volstagg..." Emma said stopping him as the others went on. "This is my family, take them back to the kingdom, where they'll be safe with Odin."
"Aye, Miss Swan, I shall care for them." Volstagg agreed. "Family of Swan, this way."
"Go." she said as the others looked at her.
Everyone followed Volstagg as Emma stayed behind to make her way to the dungeon cells. Emma twirled the hammer and let it drag her until she arrived within the walls of the dungeon. As she entered, she saw guards had fallen due to the riot and prisoners still attacking surviving guards, barely alive.
"Hey!" she shouted gaining the attention them. "Stop this now and I will not hurt you."
A prisoner came at her ready to kill her and she grabbed him and said.
"Okay, you asked for it."
And her knee up to his face, breaking his nose. More came after that and more fell by her hand. She was caught up with Sif, Hogan and Fandral as she entered the East Wing of the dungeon cells, but as she caught with them, each of them had a horror-stricken look upon them.
"What wrong?" Emma asked. "Did we round up all of the inmates?"
"Yes." Sif replied. "All but one."
"Who?" she wondered. "Who escaped?"
"Amora." Sif answered.
"Ok, you guys know that I'm new here, right?" Emma pointed out. "Who's Amora?"
"She goes by the name, Enchantress." Fandral started. "She's the worst villain Asgard has, aside from Loki."
"What did she do that was so bad?" she kept wondering.
"She tried to rule Asgard, to claim...Thor, and wreck havoc on Midgard." Sif explained. "I brought her in when the bout alongside Midgard heroes and her ceased, she was Loki second half of ruling Midgard, luckily I was there to give aid."
"Wait..." Emma paused. "Mean the invasion in California? She's responsible for that?"
"Aye." Sif confirmed.
"Ok, another major Asgardian bad guy has escape." Emma thought. "You know, I'm starting to think that Asgard is not as secured as you think it is."
"That is my thought as well." Hogan agreed.
"Amora has escaped, where do you we'll find her?" she questioned.
The Asgardian's put heavy thought on her question, but when they thought of the one place she would dare to go, they looked at each other.
"THE KINGDOM." they said in union.
"What?!" Emma exclaimed. "My family is there, oh we got to go."
"Emma, there is one more you should know." Sif said as she stopped her.
"What?!" she said in worry for her family.
"Amora, can bend the will of men to love her and do her bidding." Sif explained.
"Like Lorelei?" Emma asked.
"Aye." Sif answered in regretted tone.
"Great, another 'man-charmer'." Emma sighed.
The four rushed themselves to the kingdom in worry for the king and Emma's family. As they approached to Odin on his throne, they found it suspicious that weren't in chaos with Amora's escape.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Odin asked in a commanding tone.
"Emma, find your family." Sif ordered to her. "My liege, we have word that Amora as escaped the dungeon. We fear she may come after you."
"You think I, the All-Father, cannot handle a feeble woman?" Odin asked seriously.
"No, of course not, we-" Sif started as she was cut off.
"The search for Amora will not needed." he said.
"What?" Sif replied in a confused tone as the others made confused faces.
"The search will not be needed for my...wife."
The three Asgardian's stood up in horror with what they just heard. Out from behind Odin's throne, a blonde-haired woman wearing black and green clothing, with a green tiara to match, appeared with a sly smile and devious eyes.
"Yes, dear husband." she agreed with a smile. "I am, Amora, am indeed the All-father's equal."
"Amora, you treacherous villain, you will unbewitch the all-father now!" Sif shouted in anger.
"Oh, Sif, is that any way to speak to your Queen?" Amora said mockingly.
"Volstagg, NO!" Emma shout in the distance.
The blonde-haired thunderess came flying back into a pillar as a result to Volstagg. Sif ran to Emma's aid to help recover. but the others stood still, looking at the newly appointed queen.
"Ah, the false goddess, graces us with her pathetic mortal appearance." she said in disgust. "I cannot gather how a mere mortal can wield my love's hammer. But rest assure, you shall not wield it no longer."
The queen lend out her arm to strip Emma of Mjolnir but found it unsuccessful as the user, who was worthy, could wield it until the conditions of Thor were announced.
"Hmm, I suppose you can keep the hammer, but can I keep this?" the devious queen asked as she pointed to the hallway. Out of the darkness, Henry, David, and Hook came out with chains containing tied and gagged Mary Margret, Regina, Belle and a knock out Mr. Gold.
"YOU BITCH!" Emma spat in a mixture of anger and sadness.
Gasp "Such language a child shouldn't hear." the queen gasp mockingly. "Correct little one?"
"Yes, mom" Henry answered in a loving tone.
"And father, I love you." Amora said.
"I love you too, sweetheart." David replied.
"And the dirty pirate..." she said disgusted. "I suppose you can become my personal slave."
Amora laughed mercilessly as she moved her hands around their faces. Emma had tears strolling down her face and struggled not to cry as everything she had was being ripped away from her. She looked to her mother, who had the same expression upon her as well. Looking upon her mother's face couldn't contain the cry any longer.
"Oh, look, the little mortal is crying." the Enchantress said with a devious look. "Father, do you know her?"
"Yes, I do." David answered. "She's my daughter and a disappointing one."
"Oh and honey, do you know her?" she continued.
"She's my mother." Henry answered as well. "But I wish I never found her."
"Oh, well, looks like I'll be a better daughter and mother to these two." she said in triumph.
Emma's sadness left and only pure rage was present. Emma picked up the hammer and charged it, ready throw lighting at her, but Amora brought David and Henry closer to her and hugged them at her side
"Ah ah ah, to get to me you have to go through them." she announced. "And prefer we go as a family."
Emma was ready to kill the bitch and she hesitantly put down the hammer. Sif stood by her and felt her anger like it was radiating out of Emma.
"Hmm, guards." Amora summoned. "Take these two to the bi-frost for their...punishment. And take these women to the cells, I suspect they'll make the prisoners very very happy."
Mary Margret eyes looked to Emma, has watery and red they were, it was clear to Emma that her mother was telling her to kick her ass. Emma nodded and slammed down to the floor and created a bolt of lighting that blinded everyone, leaving a window for them to escape. As everyone recovered, Amora ordered the guards to find and capture the two goddesses. With enough distance between themselves and the guards and started to cross the rainbow bridge, with hope that Heimdell wasn't bewitched yet. The two cautiously approached the all-seer, hoping that he could help them.
"We must hurry." he said answering their prayers. "Amora's guards are closing. Here."
Heimdell gave them a scroll with Asgardian magic contained inside.
"Heimdell, what is this?" Sif asked.
"Tis magic, enough for you and Miss Swan to come back to Asgard, but beware tis only enough for one transport, use it well." he explained.
"Why are giving this to us?" Emma asked suspiciously.
"When you leave, Asgard, my will not be my own. I will not be able to bring you back." he answered. "This will give you a chance to plan and gather your strength for your return. Now, be ready."
Heimdell activated the bi-frost and Emma and Sif ran into the blueish energy, but a guard threw his knife into Heimdell's back causing him to alter the course of Emma and Sif's destination. As the two travelers ran out of the energy, Sif gasp at the place they were at. It's walls were red rock, it's pits were made of fire, it's smell were sulfur and brimstone. A monster suddenly rised out of the fire, it's color were red and yellow with horns and sword to add and roared.
"Sif?" Emma said worriedly. "Where are we?"
"W...we...were in." Sif struggled to say her words. "We're in the realm of Mangog, the fire demon."
If you don't know who Mangog is, he's the demon from the Avengers Assemble show, and as always, review.
