7 Chapter. Humpty dumpty sat on the wall...

Author: It's me. Rose! Forgotten already? No, you wouldn't. Because I'm that awesome. Don't you agree?

Rose: Nope.

A: No one asked you, you crazy ass bitch.

R: *grin* Says the person who invented me.

A: ... Damn, got me there. But hey, if you are bitch does that makes me a bitch too?

R: You say word bitch like it's a bad thing.

A:*suspicous glance* Did you put a music referance in to your talk?

R:*grin* So what if I did? You're going to call the cops?

A: :p Stupid, why would I do that? All they would do would be calling the lunabin to tell that I escaped again.

R: *shrug* I don't know, you liked it there maybe?

A: Rose.

R: Yes, Rose?

A: Shut up.

R: Okay, Rose.

Dissiclaimer(funny because dissi is in Finnish a boob): Too bad. I still don't own that magnifecent show called One Piece.

After the coffee machine was saved and locked up tightly, Kid had something to ask from suicidal girl.

"What was that jump about?" She looked at him in confusion. "What did it look like? I gave, well almost gave, away my life for you, master."

His eye twitched at his title, but didn't want to fight over that. He actually quite liked it, but he wouldn't tell that to no one.

"I already knew that..." He rubbed his temples, so that he didn't need to look at her confused yet devilish face. "But why did you do that?"

She crossed her arms and gave a look to him that asked 'Are you stupid?' "You have never heard about Dominance Kiss?" At his confused look, she uncrossed her arms and sighed.

"Seriously? No one told you about how people would suddenly get married and how they would look worser and worser by day until someday they are found dead?"

He raised his eyebrow at question, of course he knew why.

"Yeah, they got married because they loved the other person, they looked worser because they got a child to care for and they dropped dead because that is what happens people, they get older and fragile."

She shaked her head, chuckling all the while at his beliefs.

"How old are you, nine? There is no such a thing as love to people in pirate world, there is only dominance and submission. Masters and slaves. Teachers and pupils.

That, what you describe as marriage, is in reality about promise between two persons to be others slaves and masters and how one of them disgraced that promise. You may be true about people dying at oldness but did you ever wonder why so young couples would die? Because there was an incident? Don't tell me that lie!"

She stood up from her seat to point her finger at his face.

"I have seen how it works, I know why it works but I don't understand how you can be kept at dark so long!"

Kid's eyes crossed as he watched her finger wave in front his nose, before he shaked his head as she withdraw her hand away from his face, to flay her hands around.

"Your parents are perfect example at how it can go wrong yet you don't know anything about it? Oh, why those adults are so stupid? Do they belive if they don't tell their children about it, it won't happen?"

She snorted at her own rant. "That is like not telling about alcohol, and keep believing that kids won't be introduced to it while both are alcoholics!" She, gotten that out from her chest, slumped back to chair, hands covering her face as she leaned on her knees.

Red head blinked, he didn't know she had that much energy left at her, before suddenly remember what she said at first.

"Hey, what do you mean that my parent are perfect example? They were happily together until..."

His lower lip quivered but he gulped what ever feeling that was about to surface, back to his stomach.

"Until he died."

Rose lifted her head to peak under her hair at him, his hair shadowing at his eyes but one tear trailing down at his cheek. She straightened, stood up and walked to him. She crouched little, he had been sitting at chair for whole time, to capture lone tear, effectually snapping him out as she hummed.

"You know, there isn't many things that I would like to do like when I was still normal, but crying is one of them."

She incepted at liquid ball, turning her hand to see every glimpse of it against dull light that came through windows.

"While it was confusing at first, I came to realize after while that I don't need to shed tears. World has enough tears shed already, my tears and sadness were not needed, so I decided something."

She smiled, not grinded or smirked, a gentle smile at water drop until consumed with closed eyes. Kid was staring at her, not knowing what her point was.

She stayed like that for awhile, but slowly opened her eyes to give grin at her master.

"I decided that I will not show fear, sadness or guilt, only happiness and enjoyment."

She lifted her hand to cares his face, setting unknown feeling to his head and heart.

'What is this? She is petting me and I don't know if I want to. Is this some kind a spell? Yes, that must be the thing. She has enchanted me with her voodoo, that evil witch! But I don't want this feeling to stop...'

"While the world can seem dark and a threatening place..." She murmured as she gazed at his brown eyes.

"You should never reject it. I have promised to take everything with a smile, what ever it's a praise or blame, because you will never know what can be your last minute on the earth."

She gave him boyish smile as she winked at him.

"That's why I kissed you from starts. If you would have been succesful with killing me, I could at least leaved this world with knowledge that I had at least know my husband for a moment."

He stayed silent, not knowing what or how to say what he wanted, as she slowly stood up, caressing his cheek one last time before walked to her seat across had just gotten comfortable when he decided to get some answers.

"Why do you keep calling me your husband?" She tapped her chin for a moment, her usually grinding face turned to thinking frown as she thought about it.

"Well you kinda are that to me, seeing how you're my master and all that... But I guess I can changed it?" She asked last sentence, looking for approval from captain.

He nobbed eagerly, he was nineteen for heaven's sake, he didn't need to be called someones husband already.

She smirked widely at his eagerness as she said."Well, is soul mate better? Or maybe honey or love or, oh I know, my little teddy beddy!" She laughed out loud at his horrified face, the one she was waiting for.

"No, no, no. Husband is alright." He said quickly, not wanting anybody hear him being called something so humiliating as 'teddy beddy'.

She gave him wide grin but he didn't either acknowledge or didn't see it as he kept asking after cough.

"Anyways, why did you come to here?" She raised an eyebrow before shrugged her shoulders, lazy smile overcoming her grin. "This was the pirate ship where Doll-chan is, so we came here to meet him again."

This time Kid raised his eyebrow.

"And this leads to my other question. You seem awfully close to Heat, he even calls you his sister..."

Rose chuckled, she lifted her legs to sat cross legged as she replied. "Well it's a long story, so you better seat yourself comfortably because this may take awhile."

Kid huffed but slumped in his chair, one of his hands keeping his head up as his other shoved for her to continue, his eyes staring at wall in bored manner. Because of that he didn't see her to smile gratefully at him before straightened up and covered her emotions with thoughtful look.

"I guess I have to start at our first encounter... We, Fang and I, were just sailing, minding our own busyness when..."

~Flashback~

Beautiful weather, beautiful ocean and even more beautiful sound, Rose thought, slight smile grazing her lips as she stepped out from her machinery to looked over at raising sun, waves gently hitting their boat as her sister's singing voice drafted from deck.

She walked quietly to front, seeing silver head just staring at distance, slightly swaying as she sang. "You know Fang, you sound better at ocean." Fang turned to look at her, happiness shining in her eyes.

"Rose, you have never said something like that. Are you going to get better at..." she couldn't finish her sentence as Rose continued her own. "But I still think you would sound better with a different vocal chords."

"...sounding like a normal human." Fang sighed as she finished, she knew it would come sometimes but she still hoped Rose would stay normal for a minute or two.

Rose just grinded at her but turned her to look at sun with somewhat serious look, some of her sick amusement still lingering in her eyes. "How long do you think until we arrive to island?"

Fang gave fleeting glance at both sun and at water below wood before giving thoughtful hmm. "Sometime today, probably at afternoon."

Rose nobbed her head, accepting the time limit.

They had set sails two weeks ago and were now close enough to islands that she was getting somewhat anxious, she was never really a patient person.

"Ok, if you say so. I going to go back sleeping so if you need something, just flip the coin."

She stumbled towards their room, throwing one gold coin at Fang who captured just before it went overboard, missing the amused smile that silverette had.

"Ok Rose, but don't sleep over day! I still need you to fix the engine!" Half asleep girl just waved her hand lazily in acknowledge, her mind already to sleep.

Few hours later we see same boat in not as much peaceful enviroment.

Dark grey, almost black, clouds had taken over the once beautiful sky, lighting bolts struck restless water, waves hitting them at both sides, making moving forward almost impossible.

But what made Rose curse at everything, was a giant sea lion in front of their tiny boat, sharp fangs etched to its jaws already taken bites of their boat.

"I fucking hate you, you piece of shit!" She yelled as she plunged her knife through its eyeball, effectively making already angered monster become absolutely furious at girl.

It gave ear piercing screech before shaked its had hoping to remove human from its head. She was quite persistent though and kept herself there by her knifes that she had pierced through its ears.

After monster stopped his movement to search for annoying human, she lowered herself low enough to gauge monsters eye out with her knife.

Eye popped out with loud pop, hanging from its vein as monster screamed in pain.

Rose had grin permanently etched to her face as monster yelled and trashed around. This time monster didn't stop, so she decide to finish her plan.

Carefully, not wanting to fly away from a top of monster, she lowered her arm so that she could cut the eye vein.

She was succesful as eyeball dropped from its socket fully towards violent sea.

Blood splatter all over her, but she didn't mind it. Rain was about start anyway so there was no reason to play safety anymore.

Sea lion screamed again and swam blindly everywhere, bumping to everything that was on its way. Their boat too got damaged in its rampage and thus sealed sea lions death as Rose heard Fang cry out in surprise.

"I will kill you, you bastard! No one makes my sister shout other than me!"

With sudden boost speed and strength, she plunged her blade through its thick skin around its ear repeatedly until she had made hole big enough for small child to crawl through.

She hadn't reached its brains, just the bone, but that was enough for her.

She raised her hand high, knife tightly holded in it above he head and made it and blade disappear as she drived it through bone, reaching its brain. She made her hand appear again inside of monsters skull before started wildly slashing its vital body part.

The monster immediately reacted. It lost all control over its body and just dropped, its now lifeless body slowly sinking as she jumped away from dead animal to their boat, blood and other gruesome things dropping from her figure as she shaked herself like wet dog.

After cleaning herself from most of things, she quickly jogged towards helm where Fang was desperately trying to keep ship above water.

"What I can do?" Rose asked, all amusement wiped away from her face.

Fang hissed out as something clanked underneath them, sounding like something had moved from its original spot.

"Go try to make the hole at side of ship smaller. And I belive engine is about to shut itself down."

Rose growled and turned around, rolling her sleeves as she descended towards machinery, grumbling something like "Not on my watch..."

It was hours later, few hours after sun had roused up, when they finally arrived to some island with their beaten boat. They crashed to sandy beach that seemed to be empty from villager houses.

It was somewhat hidden place, tall cliff rouse up from sand few meters as forest peeked over rocky hills, making sisters relax little. It was sand and rocks until you couldn't see anything else but there was one dead tree at left of them. All in all, dull sight to see, so Rose turned around to incept their broken boat.

"Well, we are better to get to used to this island because this pile of wood can't be even used to build a rift." She kicked at one of loose boards, getting groan from boat as she was hitted. Fang bit her lip as she looked at her map.

"The closest bigger island is a day away from us, so we have to look if there is any ship fixer in here." She peaked at her companion over her paper to see Rose almost ready to kick something else than innocent boats.

She sighed as she rolled the map, putting it inside of her backpack as she searched for a way to climb up.

"Now how we could get away from here? Village is just over that cliff..." She mumbled, turning her head to look at lowering path.

Rose too was looking at path upwards when she caught glimpse of something bluish peaking over hill. She blinked before recognized it as someones hair tuft, making her grin as she shouted at human. "Hey, who are you?"

Tuft jumped up before disappeared over rocks only to yelp of surprise be heard and tuft fall from above them. As it came closer, Rose recognized it as boy who had bluish hair falling towards hard ground.

Fang shouted with the boy as he started to reach ground.

He closed his eyes, expecting for pain, but when he only felt swish of wind and something warm catching him, he slowly opened one of his eye to see his body been caught by that black haired girl.

She grinded down at him before set him back on his feet the other girl running to them as she said. "Well that is one hell of way to die, too bad you lived, right?"

His eyes widened in alert as he slightly backed away from black head, fearing for her to jump on him like some toys do. Silverette was looking over him, looking for imperfections he thought, as she worried over bump over his head.

Setting her backpack, she kneeled, opened one of its pockets and fished out some kind jar and bandages.

He was wary as she tried to approach him, carefully to not to scare him as she spoke gently. "Don't be scared, I'm just going to put some medicine and bandage on your head."

He shaked his head, not wanting to be helped by these strangers. Younger girls eyes grew tearful, making him panic.

He didn't have idea what do you do with crying girl but in his life he had come to know that crying plus girl equals disaster.

He stepped forwards silently and crouched in front of her, allowing for her to reach his head.

Girl sniffled for awhile until asked with slightly hopeful voice. "D-do let me help you?" He gulped but nobbed his head slowly, not really knowing why he does this.

He didn't see her smile, but he could feel her happiness as it radiated as she spreaded the oil over his head and bandaged it with one of cloth rolls.

By the time she was finished, her companion had already acquired a water bottle from somewhere and offered it to him.

Still slightly wary, he took it his eyes staying in her's as he took gulp from bottle. She kept grinding like there was some inner joke that he wasn't included in.

"So blueno, what makes you come here?" Boy glared at Rose before said in scratchy voice, like if he hadn't use it for awhile.

"My name is Heat, not blueno." She shrugged as she waved her hand dismissively.

"Blueno, Heat, same thing to me. But why are you here?"

Boy frowned at her, he had never met so... personally rude person in his life before took another gulp from bottle, the surprisingly cold water helping his sore throat.

As he was enjoying liquid she provided, Rose looked at boy's state.

Blue, muddy hair reached just his shoulders, tufts of dirty hair freely flowing around him, framing his block like face.

He had tan, but if you looked at his body closely, you could notice he hadn't doing it from pure pleasure. Hands full of scratches, scars and callosities told that he wasn't fully noble, even if his rare hair colour was noticable.

His legs weren't any better. Simple sandals that he was wearing were at edge of breaking apart if they were used anymore, his feet were dried and dirty, not a good thing when your legs has scars and wounds.

His clothing, well if it could be called as clothing, appeared as if he had found it from trash. His once white, now being brown and yellow, torn apart shirt smelled awful as did his one size too big shorts that looked like they were used as dogs toy not too long ago.

Only thing that wasn't broken or smelled bad, was chain mail that he was wearing over his shirt, making her question how he wasn't heard when he sneaked around. She guessed he was used to be silent as his movements were soundless as he drank greedily rest of water.

Done with ogling at his body she changed to incept his face.

His eyes were closed, but she already knew they were black. His bone ridges acted as his eyebrows, making him look either angry or tired all the time. His thin lips, now eagerly gulping down water, were almost invisible.

All over, she would say him be few years older, four or five years sounded good. That would make him thirteen or twelve, even when he looked like he was just nine with his height making him just little above Fang.

She pouted as he didn't answer after he emptied her bottle.

"Are you going to answer me?"

Heat turned to glare at her, his scowl not for once moving as he said "No."

She blinked at simple reply before slapped him behind his head. He immediately reacted, putting his hands to hold pained spot as he looked at her with disbelieving eyes

"Ow! What was that for?"

She smiled at him before pointed at bottle he was still holding.

"You're going to tell why you are here or I won't give you the antidote to the poison you just drank."

He suddenly throved her bottle away like it had burned him as he stared at her with wide eyes, making her grind grow bigger as he stuttered.

"W-what! A p-poison? In m-me?"

She nobbed her head, her eyes watching him like predatory watching their prey.

"Yesss. I poisoned you, what are you going to do? Answer me or die? Oh, and just so you know, you have a minute until you drop dead." She told him cheerfully ready to laugh at his face until she was tackled/hugged from behind.

"Rose, stop it!" Fang had ran behind her sister, her small fists punching her big sister as she cried.

"You can't do it to him! We have just met him! I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" She broke into her tears, slumping to ground as she repeated those three words, not noticing thoughtful frown Rose was wearing.

Heat pitied younger girl, she was forced to live with somebody like black head until she was either succesful with escaping, somebody saved her or she died, and to be completely honest, only two of them could happen.

He wasn't worrying his life, he had nothing he would miss and there was nobody who could miss him so leaving to some better place was fine to him.

"Oh, okay." Rose finally sighed.

"The worst thing he will get from that bottle is stomach ache. No need to be drama queen now Fang." Silver head stopped crying and raised her head to search of lies at Rose with bloodshot eyes.

"R-really?"

Older girl rolled her eyes as she answered in bored manner. "Yes, yes. Check himself if you want to."

Fang turned her head, drying her nose as her eyes went through boy's body before locked with confused black eyes. She slowly smiled before she jumped up, all of sudden full of energy.

"Yes! He will live!"

Heat's eyes grow bigger as young girl started dancing around, but relaxed and chuckled as he truly saw what she was doing.

Rose smiled with him, her eyes watching at Fang as she said to him silently to not to alert her happy friend.

"While I have done this million times already, only few had seemed to be happy that I would kill them. Do you know what I did to them?"

Heat gulped, his smile faltering little but he recovered with a fake one. "I don't know. You tell me."

Her eyes glinted with amusement as her grin grow to smirk before she leaned to whisper to his ear. "I made them live full life, with no memory of their past."

With that said, she straightened up, took hold of his hand and leaded him to Fang, who took his hands and danced with him, her happiness melting away all his worries and after long time, he laughed because he was truly happy.

After they had gotten over their happiness rush, both Fang and Heat were left out of breath as Rose stayed at sidelines, trying to get the smashed pile of wood that they once called a boat back to one piece, her ears half of time listening what two friends were talking about.

"Seriously! I thought you have dyed your hair!" Fang said as she touched at boy's hair, not minding at his uncomfortable yet excited face.

He shrugged as if he didn't care and took one of his strands to curl it around his finger. "Yeah, well this is all natural." He glanced at her pigtails, wonderment in his eyes. "And how about you? You dye your hair?"

Fang giggled as she shaked her head. "No, this is my natural hair colour too. Besides, I wouldn't do it anyway and I think I wouldn't be allowed..." She glanced at working Rose as she bit her lip, making him look at older girl too.

"Does she dye?" Fang started shake her head but after while nobbed it. Sensing his confused look, she explained.

"Well, she kinda dyes... You see that red streak?"

He nobbed his head after he located said frontal hair.

"She says that she had dyed it with the blood of her victims." Heat gave her a look that made her defend herself.

"I'm telling the truth! Every time she has killed someone, she would take some of their blood and slather it over her hair. And every time she has taken a shower, there would be blood smell and something dark red lying at the floor, like old blood!"

He was still not convinced but letted it slide, she was after all his first friend in his whole life.

"Alright, I belive you. Say, why did you come to this island?"

Her once angry eyes were filled childlike innocence and excitement as she talked about her goal. "We were traveling to this one island not so far away from here to get my paper that says that I'm really a nurse, but then..."

She pouted, slumping back to ground where she had stood up as she flayed her hands around.

"But then this big storm came and sea lion appeared. Rose took care of monster but because me our boat got destroyed."

She sniffled as she stared at ruins of boat before rubbed her eyes, sadness overcoming her voice.

"If-if I would-would been able to-to control our ship, sis wouldn't be forced to repair our boat. She-she probably hates me."

She allowed tears flow from her eyes as she sobbed, making Heat panic until he decided to hug her.

She immediately stopped, never she was hugged by others, just Rose and that was rarely, so him hugging her set new feelings to her stomach.

"Don't worry, she can't hate you." She sniffled and looked up at him, tears still dripping but significantly less.

"Y-you think so?" She asked him, hope heavily colouring her voice, making Heat smile gently at her.

"Of course, she doesn't. Who would hate something as cute as you?"

He blushed as he said that, Fang mimicking his reaction.

"Cute?"

He coughed and stepped away from her, blush still colouring his cheeks as he looked at sand, trying not to look at small girl.

Silence appeared between two kid, making already uncomfortable almost unbearable until Heat coughed again, this time to get her attention.

"I was just thinking, how old are you?" Her eyes shined as she replied. "I'm seven now but at end of this month I would be eight!"

Heat blinked at silver haired girl, astonishment showing in his eyes.

"You're just eight and you are travelling at sea!" Girl nobbed her head, not really understanding why everybody would say the same thing after she told her age.

"Yeah, why not? It's not like we are completely helpless. I mean, with Rose killing techniques and with my medical skills, we are going to survive. Plus, we get so many people that will help us if we need it. And we got this amazing skill that allows us to turn to invisible!"

Heat stared at her, not believing what she had just told.

"I don't believe you."

Girl pouted and stood up, pointing at him, shouting "I will shove you!" before disappeared.

Heat's eyes widened as he looked around, not finding head or tail of his new friend.

"Fang, where are you?" His fearfully asked question was answer with giggling at first. "I'm here, silly."

She became visible again, standing at the exactly exact spot that she was standing moments ago. His mouth imitated fish for awhile until she laughed again.

"Why do you look so surprised? I told you I can be invisible so I was."

Heat opened his mouth for awhile, trying to find good way to phrase his thoughts until he finally said one word.

"How?"

She eyesmiled as she swinged at her heels. "I ate Devil fruit with Rose. It allowed us to become ghosts!"

She cringed suddenly and her tongue poked out as she shaked her head.

"It tasted nasty! Even Rose's cooking were better and let me tell you," she leaned to whisper to his ear. "She can make sandwiches explode."

Heat backed his head away to give her a disbelieving look as she nobbed her head.

"She is that bad?" This time Fang nobbed her head sadly. "Yes, she is." They fell into comfortable silence, boy thinking how bad can one be with cooking as girl thought about all the horrors she was forced to eat.

"Fucking piece of shit!" Sudden shout interrupted couples silence, coming from frustrated Rose who was kicking at engine that was smoking.

"You worked wonderfully five minutes ago so why don't you now?"

Her answer came with more blacker smoke, thick enough to make her cough and to both person at sidelines lost sight of her. They didn't worry though as a string of curse words told loudly that she was alive and pissed off.

Heat gave sidelong glance at younger girl, bit his lip before said. "Umm, I don't live far from here and since it seems that your engine said itself out, umm, why won't you come to my house?"

Fang gave him a grateful smile, saying small thank you before shouted to her sister.

"We are going to Heat-kun's house, if you are looking for us. Okay?"

Cursing girl's sentence stopped at middle, making both girl and boy worry little as no sound was heard at boat area.

Slowly, a completely black person came from smoke, only blue eyes could be used to recognized girl, who was coughing and glaring at boy.

"*cough* Where is *cough* this house you *cough* speak of?"

Heat pointed with his left hand to right as to show where it was. "It's just couple miles away from here, right before woods."

Rose gave quick look to that direction, only to see more sand, but she believed him. After all, if it came to worst she would only need to kill him. Nothing spectacular.

"Please, Rose can we go there?" Blue eyes met with puppy dog eyes in battle of wills.

After while, a teeth showing grin formed on the sooty face.

"Sure you can, darling." Fang jumped up in excitement. "Buuut, you guys aren't allowed to touch each others until I'm there."

All happiness was drained from youngest face, confused one appearing on the chubby face.

"But why can't we?" She whined as she pouted, only for her companions grin turn to sadistic one.

"If you do, I'm going to cut your friend up so nicely that we could make food for us." As she said that, her eyes were looking at Heat, waves of hunger emitting from her as she licked her black lips.

Heat could feel how cold sweat formed at his back as he saw the look.

"Got it, Blueno?" He nobbed his head, not minding if she used nickname as long as he would survive now that he had a friend. She growled at him.

"I couldn't hear you, what did you say?"

He saluted to her, shouting fearfully. "Sir, yes, sir!"

Rose grinded victoriously, eyes gleaming with amusement as she said. "Good. Now run along, children. Your sister has something to do and it needs to be done today."

She hushed two away, pressing sooty kiss at both foreheads before she forcefully pusshed them away.

"Bye bye, I will come later on so don't worry." That said, she disappeared again back to now less smoking area, clanking not second later heard from machinery.

Heat blinked before cleaned his head from black dirt, looking with surprised eyes at blackness that stuck in his fingers before small smile appeared to his face.

'Nobody has called me their sister. I wonder...' He couldn't continue his line of thought as excited Fang took his hand and all but skipped as she forced him to move.

"Come now, Heat-kun! I wanna see you home!"

He stopped thinking any deeper meaning of things, laughing with his friend as she raced him to his house leaving Rose with her curses.

His morning turned to better and all it needed was eight years older girl and her sadistic sister.

AN: And that is the end of this chapter! Hope you guys don't hate me because I made this story become flashback, but it's the only way I could think it to work with my writing style. This is Rose, signing out!
