"Recognized; Speedy, B06."

"IT'S RED ARROW YOU DUMB COMPUTER! GOD! IT'S BEEN LIKE ALMOST FIVE YEARS NOW!"

Red Arrow walked into the Cave. It had been awhile since he'd hung out with his favorite speedster and ninja.

"Red Arrow!" Megan squealed. Believe it or not, she and him had gotten closer. It was weird and unexpected, but somehow, a friendship had bloomed there.

She hugged him, and he awkwardly returned it.

"Sup."

"Roy. It is good to see you. What brings you to the Cave?" Kaldur asked.

"I thought I'd come to visit Wally and D- I mean Robin. Where are they anyway?"

All of a sudden everyone's faces got very grim. Roy took notice that the harpy wasn't there either.

"And where's my replacement?"

No one said anything, in fear of how he'd react.

"Guys?"

"They are on the Watchtower," Kaldur said uneasily.

Oh no, Roy thought. The only other time they had gone on the Watchtower was because Wally's speed had been acting up and he was having trouble keeping his powers in check. He had gone on a mission and almost disappeared into nothingness before anyone had decided that it was serious.

"What happened?" he asked, knowing he wouldn't like it.

Kaldur explained the situation and Roy immediately stormed through the zetas and ended up in the Watchtower. He was so mad that he didn't even care about the stupid machine calling him Speedy.

"Where is he?" he demanded. Batman sighed and pointed towards the medbay.

Roy stormed over to the medbay. He composed himself, then barged in. He startled awake Wally, who was ecstatic to see him, having not seen him in two months.

"Roy! Hey, Dick!" he smacked Dick, who was slumbering almost peacefully, in the arm several times, and after getting no reaction, pushed his chair over.

When the chair hit the floor, Dick jumped up, "I'm awake!"

The scene was comical, and, had it not been for the situation at hand, Roy would've laughed at the silly display. Instead, he let a soft smile grace his features and went to check Wally over before turning to Dick.

"What the hell, Dick? Why didn't you call?"

"Well, we are in space. You don't get very good reception here..."

Roy scoffed, "Yeah, ok."

Wally sighed. It almost felt normal. Almost.

"So, when are you guys going to court?" Roy asked.

Wally's eyes widened, "Court?"

Dick glared at Roy. Roy guessed that he hadn't told Wally yet.

He facepalmed.

"Well, Roy, since you brought it up, I'm sure you'd be happy to elaborate," Dick suggested (demanded), irritated.

"Well," Roy began. "When a parental figure is accused of abuse, they go to court to settle the case and hopefully get the child out of the bad home. You would be the child in this case."

"Oh, ok." Wally vaguely remembered talking about this in school a while ago, but he also remembered the teacher was talking so slowly, so he hadn't paid attention.

"Wally, are you ok?" Roy asked. He knew that this was probably really hard for him to process.

"Yeah, I guess," Wally responded. He was scared. Everything would be different now. He didn't even know if he'd be put in a good home- wait a minute.

"Wait, so with this court case, I'd be taken from my house and put into a new home?" Roy nodded. "Who-where am I going? Who's gonna take me in?"

Dick sighed. "Barry and Iris you dolt."

Wally relaxed at this thought. Yeah, that made sense. Barry and Iris loved him like he was their own son. He knew that it would be ok.

Roy was just kinda walking through the watchtower, when someone bumped into him.

He heard a soft mutter of "Sorry" and turned around to give whoever it was the rant of their life, but he was surprised to see Artemis there.

"Oh, there you are, my replacement," Roy teased.

"Ha, ha, very funny."

"So what're you doing?"

"I'm gonna go watch a movie in the lounging room, you wanna come?" she asked absentmindedly.

"Sure, what movie?"

"Lucy."

"Oh ok."

They went into the room and turned on the TV before Artemis made herself comfortable. Then, within the first five minutes, they fell asleep from boredom.

An hour later, Dick was wandering the halls, trying to figure out how to talk to Wally about the other day.

In order to get to the infirmary, you have to go through the lounge, and what cute-and-cuddly scene should he run into but Roy and Artemis cuddling on the couch.

"Oooh yes, this is gonna make great blackmail," Robin said as he quickly pulled out his camera and snapped a picture.

Then he continued on his way, still trying to figure out what to say.

"Hmm, how about, 'Hey, Walls. Remember the other day when we told each other we love each other? Well I was wondering if you actually meant it.' No no, too upfront. Maybe just, 'Do you wanna give this a try?' Yeah, that sounds good," he muttered to himself.

By the time he was done muttering, he was outside Wally's door. He knocked in that "shave and a haircut" type of way.

"Come in!" Came the muffled reply.

He walked in.

"Oh, hey Rob. What's u-"

"Wally, I think we need to talk about what happened the other day," Dick blurted out, taking off his glasses.

Well, so much for causality, he thought.

"I was gonna say the same thing," Wally said.

"What are we doing, Walls?" Dick asked.

"I don't know. I was hoping you would and then we'd just do what you wanted to," he said.

"Wally, I like you. A lot. But when you said you loved me, you were hyped up on meds. I need to know if you meant it," Dick said seriously.

Wally nodded, "I meant it with all my heart."

"Okay, now where does that leave us?" Dick asked.

"I don't know, you decide."

"Alright, uh, how about this: whoever started crushing on the other guy first decides," Dick said, smiling a little.

"Is that a challenge?" Wally asked, smirking.

"Yes," Dick said, knowing what would come next.

"Challenge accepted! Mine started at that sleepover with the giraffe and the Spiderman costume. Beat that."

"Will do. Mine started at that weird family reunion you took me to like five years ago."

"Dang, ok you win. Where is this going, Dick?" Wally asked, turning the mood serious again.

"I wanna try this."

"Deal," Wally said, holding out his hand to shake Dick's.

Dick took it and kissed the top, "M'lady, when we get you out of here and win that court case, do you want to go for pizza?"

"Of course, but I am soo not the lady here."

"Are too."

"Are not."

And that was the start of a beautiful relationship.
