Thousand Sleepless Nights
Chapter #16- Endless Tears
Heart break and despair is like a ever ending darkness that swallows everything that inside of it. Like a beast with a empty stomach that can ever be filled, praying on the innocent souls that dare to fall within it reach.
Hinata was sadly one of the beast victims, swallowed up by the life in which she lived. The torturing screams in which her heard through out her years that she lived, was finally getting to her.
The lost of a very dear person that she called a friend. The respect of her family, and the little friends she had left. Was starting to get affect her sense of reality.
When the people that she trusted turn their backs on her, made her snipped causing her to slip through the crack of reality and into the darkness of despair.
As she felt the pain of her body colliding with the hard ground like surface she thought to herself, "Why is this happening? Where are my friends? Why won't someone help me?"
Doubt quickly filled her mind as she slowly pick her body up off the ground.
"It far too dark...where is the light?" thought the girl as she slowly move through the darkness trying to find some light.
The soft but loud footsteps in which she was making was the only thing that she could hear, that actually calmed her mind.
Even after she tripped and fell on the ground, she picked herself back up and continued to reach for a light to shine on her face, to break that shadows that she was seeing.
But there was no light to be found, just a pity of darkness that seemed to go on forever.
As the hope inside of her heart began to dim, she heard a soft voice similar to her own calling to her in the back in her mind, telling her in a compiling tone of voice to come closer.
As she began to get closer whom calling her, Hinata began to get a surveyor headache that was affecting her vision, and her body
The pain became too great for the girl to ignore, "Why? My head...it hurt...hurrrrrrt!" spoke the girl screaming in pain, begging to for it to stop.
She even got onto her knees and begged for the pain that she was being forced to endure tp stop, and the voice that was calling her to travel through the darkness changed.
Turned into an furious insect like voice that said to her, "You are not getting away from me! Your soul will be consumed!" spoke the voice as the floor that was underneath the girls knees split apart, dropping her soul drop into an even more gloomy dimension.
Where she was nothing more that an insect, helpless to defensed herself from the beast that lay in front of her.
An oozing ginormous spider like creature, with a range liquid pouring from its body and onto the floor.
As the monster gazed upon the poor puny human that stand before it, the mere thought of how delicious it will be placing the crush bloody body of the human into its mouth, made the beast mouth water, like an ocean.
When the monster jaw detach and it mouth hang opened, a swarm of maggots flew from its mouth and began to circle around Hinata's body.
She would have run away from the monster, but she was paralyzed! Frozen in place by her own fear and shyness.
The maggots land Hinata and began to crawl all over her body, eating the flesh right off of her bones.
The pain that the poor girl was feeling was awful, it was like she was being valuated and stab all at once, and it was nothing that she could do to stop this from happening.
It brought tears to her eyes, knowing that she would never she the light of the world again. Even worst, pictures, memories of a soft but loving boy with blonde hair began to appear in front of her eyes.
Making her feel emotion that she never felt before, her stomach began to feel uneasy, her heart began to beat faster and faster like a jack-hammer inside of her chest.
Hianta did not wished to die there, she was not planning on dying there either.
With a very loud and powerful spearing scream from the girl lungs, the horrifying situation that she was placed under quickly shattered, killing the maggots that was around her, and pushing the monster in front of her back.
The scream that came out of the girl lungs, have so much intense energy behind it, to allowed her soul to return to her body so she could gazed upon the truth that is reality.
Once the sun light shined through the girls window and onto her face, she quickly opened her eyes and looked around.
Where she would see that she was in her bedroom, laying on her bed.
A joyful feeling that everything that she just went through was nothing more that an dream.
Also just knowing that she could feel the beat from her heart inside her chest, calmed Hinata racing mind.
Hinata wished to gazed upon what she look like her mirror, so she slowly stepped out of bed and onto the hard surface of the floor. But her ankles was too weak to withstand the weight of her body,
And her legs quickly gave out from underneath Hinata, causing her to collapse on the floor of her room.
She felt so exhausted laying there on the floor, and she barely did a thing. Her legs felt like she been running for days, her arms was acting like they have been crushed, and her stomach was causing her so much pain, almost like she haven't eaten for days.
"Why?...why is this happening to me?" spoke the girl struggling to pick herself up from the floor.
It took all of the strength from both her and her sister, to pick her up from the floor and back into bed.
"Thank you Hanabi" spoke Hinata struggling to speak to her sister
"Are you okay?" spoke Hanabi truly concern for the state of her sister health
The thought of her big sister dying would be terrible, knowing that she would be all alone in the world, with no one to protect her show her kindness and love when she need it the most.
It just was making Hanabi feel an extreme emotion of sadness and heartbreak. Her eyes was flowing with tears like the river nile.
"Hanabi why? Why do you cry over me?" spoke Hinata caressing her sister cheek ever so slowly, trying to stop the flow of tears coming from her eyes.
As the drop of tears hits Hinata hand she hear her sister sweet voice say to her, as her eye-lead get heavy and start to close.
"I don't want to see you...I don't want you to leave me! I don't wish to be alone!" spoke Hanabi in a sad tone of voice, barely could speak.
"It's okay. I just need some rest, that's all" spoke Hinata as she drift into a slumber
Hearing those words come from her sister throat, did not comfort for soul one bit. It ravage her, consumed her with sadness and grief as she stared at her sister laying there in front of her.
She didn't know what to do or how to help her sister, fearing for the worst she left the room leaving her sister to sleep.
Days Hanabi spent taking care of her sister, as she slowly regained her strength and her chakura.
Even those Hinata could barely move her own body, and Hanabi had to do almost everything for her, it still brought them great joy and happiness to the girl's hearts.
Just spending time together sharing stories, and having conversation with one another, even through dyer circumstances such as this, brought smiles onto the faces of the Hyuuga girls.
"Hinata? May I ask you something?" spoke Hanabi as she stared at her big sister
"What is it?" replied Hinata
"I...I'm just..." spoke Hanabi stuttering trying to hold by the tears.
As Hinata stared at her sister crying once more because of her, hurt her deeply within her soul. She never want to hurt her sister so much where she could not stop crying.
Hinata wished to comfort her little sister, but how could she? Every time she moves it caused her body pain, probably not as much as before but the pain still linger within her body.
Even with that in mind, Hinata ignored the pain that she would caused herself and hug her sister tightly.
The warmth from her sister body only made the tears coming from Hanabi eyes flow even more, making the ability to talk even harder for Hanabi to accomplish.
"Please stop crying Hanabi? I don't wish to see you in pain any longer. It breaks my heart!" spoke from the lips of Hinata in a very sad tone of voice.
Hinata was blinded by her own emotion, to the point where she could no longer see the truth behind her sister tears.
"Big sister, I want you know the tears that is flowing from my eyes are tears of joy, not grief nor sadness. It tears of joy because I can spend time with my big sister.
I can share my biggest emotions, also mine free of father's control. I can be myself with you. And?" spoke Hanabi feeling so free, but also wondering if she would share her deepest secret.
"And?" spoke Hinata a little confused as she waited for Hanabi to continue the conversation.
Hanabi thought long and hard about her decision, rather or not she should share her deepest secret. About who she care more for on a deeper level that with her sister
Hanabi came to the conclusion that she could tell her big sister everything, but the fear of what she might do when she say the secret, frightened Hanabi.
Causing her to doubt if she could say anything to her big sister!
"Maybe she just like father!? A heartless person that only care about herself. No...no what am I thinking, she my sister. My loving big sister.
I can still her anything." thought Hanabi as she stared at Hinata and shared her deepest secret.
The secret that was spilled from the lips of Hanabi touched Hinata heart.
Knowing that her little sister not only have a crush on a boy, but also needing her advice on the subject, created an connection that only two sister's can have with each other.
"Oh my gosh! What is the lucky boy name?" spoke Hinata
"Konohamaru" spoke Hanabi with a bright red face and in a very embarrassing tone of voice as she told her older sister the name of her crush.
It was a truly bright day when Hanabi was able to share her deepest secrets with her sister, and unlike their father, Hinata was open to what Hanabi had to say,
She did not try to force her to say or do something that she was not ready to handle, she was loving and careful to her sister feeling so she did not upset her an anyway.
If only somebody did this with her when she started to feel these emotions towards Naruto, but that did not happen.
That is why Hinata feel so strongly about this subject and why she want to be there to help her sister. To guide her sister so she does not end up on the wrong path.
A few weeks past since Hinata learned about the name of her sister crushed, and strengthen her relationship between her and her sister. It was nice she thought as the time move on.
On March 17th the nurses that worked for the Hyuuga clan gave the final reading for the patient Hinata.
And for once it was good news, it seem that Hinata blood level's was doing fine, her weight was normal.
Her eye-sight was excellent, her blood sugar was on point, and nerves was working properly and the most important thing of all was her chakura levels.
Hinata's chakura level in her body was stable enough for her to move through the village at free will, but she was ordered by her nurses and doctors to stay off of mission for at least a free months.
To allow the healing process that she was under to be completed.
"Thank you" spoke Hinata as the nurse of pulling the needles from out of her body
"Hinata now please take it slow, you are still recovering after all!" spoke the nurse as she left the Hyuuga girl room.
Once the nurse left the room and all of the machines was taken out, Hinata slowly stood from her bed and made her way to the bathroom, to stared at her reflection in the mirror.
As she gazed upon her reflection in the mirror, Hinata could not help but see a tremendous pain behind a glass in which was her eyes.
She knew that she was still in pain, she could feel it deep within her body. The pain might not be as large as it was week ago, but the situation in which she will endure still remains the same as it was before!
Hinata could barely stand to look at herself in the mirror, her eyes reminded her of her father. The way he did not help her when she asked, the way he stared at her in silences, judging her every move.
She would have stared into the mirror for days, just watching as she become more and more like her father, a cold self-centered angry person, that would not take responsibility for anything.
Stirling in her on rage, that what she would have done until she heard a knock on her bedroom door.
She quickly answered the door to her room, to get her mind off of the situation that she created in the mirror.
But she was't surprise when she stared at the person knocking on her door. Standing in the doorway to Hinata room as Hanabi, her little sister.
It was nice to see her sister, but what did Hanabi want? thought Hinata as she stared at her sister in the doorway.
"Hanabi?" spoke Hinata a little confused about why her sister was there.
It was obvious to see that something was on Hanabi mind, by looking upon her face whatever it was, was weighing heavily on her mind. Was something wrong? And could she even help her? These are the questions that Hinata was asking herself, as she stared into her sister's eyes.
"Um...sister? Can you help me with...how can I say this!?" spoke Hanabi feeling extremely embarrassed and afraid. Wondering what her sister might think of her
The feeling of being embarrassed and afraid was touch, it was making the younger sister heart beat rapidly over and over again in her chest, until the question that was weighing on her might just came out.
"Can you help me with Konohamaru!" yelled Hanabi feeling the most embarrassed in her entire life.
And as her face get red and red by the second, her heart beat began to slow and so did her voice.
"I'm truly am sorry for yelling, please forgive my outburst, I did not mean anything by it! I just wish for your help, I mean I like this boy so much and I thought that my big sister would!..." spoke Hanabi in a shy tone right before her sister interrupted her
"I would love to help my little sister with her boy trouble's" spoke Hinata accepted to help her sister with her little problem in the village.
She also wished to leave the house that she was in, the voice that constantly spoke to her in her nightmares slowly crossing the barriers of dreams and reality and soon the voice shall reach the girl that standing in the world of beating hearts.
And soon, she will have no where else to hide. But until that fateful day comes, Hinata was free to move around the village helping any one she pleased.
As the Hyuuga girls left their home and started walking among the rest of the leaf village citizens, Hanabi could not help but be nervous, feel the rapid heart beats pounding against her chest as she walks
Knowing in mere minutes she would be in front of the one that made her feel this way, staring into the deep black eyes of her crush, getting swallowed up by his aroma like a thick fog.
The only thing that bring Hanabi back to reality when she get caught in the clunches of lovely thoughts of Konohamaru, is the comforting thoughts that her big sister will be by her side through this troubling time in her life,
But as the distances between Hanabi and Konohamaru steadily decrease as time move along, the nerves in young girl body began to react to the chilling emotion in the air, causing her to feel an extreme emotion of fear.
A type of fear that she never felt before, and the feeling that her sister could never forget!
The feeling when you get when you face the one that you have a crush one, the one person in the whole world that can just take the wind out of your sails, and leave you speechless.
When Hinata felt this way about a person, it was intense and caused her to feel crazy with an emotion that she did not fully understand.
Seeing that her sister was feeling the same-way that she once did, reminded her that she miss the feeling of slowly falling in love with a person,
Hinata felt disappointed at first, then she thought that she could still help her sister in this time. That thought brought joy into her otherwise lonely beating heart.
Sadly the joy that entered her heart quickly faded like a shadow in the light of the sun, once she started to hear a voice in the back of her mind.
Speaking of an eternal darkness that will sweep the lands in which she lived wipping all signs of life from the planet surface. Turning the otherwise bright living world into a hallow shale of itself.
The voice also speak that she could no longer escape the boundaries that is it reach. Just a little bit closer, it said.
And even though the voice was faceless and the voice itself was faint, the second it reached Hinata's ears her body began to shack with pure fear in her veins.
She tried everything to stop her body from shacking, without causing to much attention to herself especially from her sister,
Hinata did not wished to break her sister heart again, not again! But it was hopeless, she could not stop the shacking, it was like that she could not longer control her own body anymore.
She was just a mere bystander watching as her body shack endlessly,
Sure she could control her leg movement but if she could not control one-hundred percent of her body than what is the point to go on anymore?
"Why was this happening to her? Now of all times!" she wondered
First was the draining of her body's charuka, now the endless shacking. Will her suffering ever end?
When Hinata was about to tell her sister that she could no longer continue, that is when her body stopped the shacking and she regained control again.
Hinata was happy that she could continue to help her sister with her little crush, but for how long will this last before she lose control again? Before the presence of that voice return?
Once the boy that goes by the name "Konohamaru" was in the Hyuuga girls sight, Hinata quickly introduce herself and her sister to the young boy
As she thought a while back Konohamaru did not know how to act around somebody knew and began to act like a complete fool, and her sister shyness got the better of her and she locked herself away into a shell.
Seeing the actions taking place around her, remind Hinata of how she and Naruto acted when they was around each other.
It was cute! But she knew far to well that it would take a lot of work to break to kids around her out of their shells.
So she said and done anything that she knew would help her out with Naruto, and for all things that is holy it actually worked! The two kids began to speak to each other, laugh together, and share funny stories.
Hanabi's heart was completely opened to Konohamaru words, and it was being barraged with all of the intense emotion that a person would feel being in the presence of their crush.
Things was flowing smoothly like a rapped river, and the conversation let on for it seem like forever.
But as the conversation between the two children went on, Hinata mind began to wonder through the vase world of memories,
As the Hyuuga girl mind wondered, at the corner of her vision she saw a person that resembles her crush.
The same blond her and everything walking among the citizens of the leaf village.
"Was that Naruto?" thought Hinata as the boy passed him
She wanted to follow the person in which she saw, wanted to see if the one she thought of for so long was right in front of her eyes, but she was bind by the laws that she made with her sister.
Soon those laws faded from her memory, and the curiosity to see if the mystery person that she had a glimpse of consumed her, and she left her sister to follow behind the boy.
As the girl follow after an allusion that hangs over her vision, else where inside of the Akatsuki based Asun prepared to begin an ritual, that will give him power for the exchange of flesh and blood!
The boy would happily give apart of himself to begin such a ritual, but he haven't slept for days so his eyes might be unable to see the truth that was happening around him, and his mind probably was to cloudy to focus in on any particular topic.
Once Asun locked himself in a cold dark room, he began to scant ancient words that haven't been spoken in thousand of years.
"I give apart of myself to you, for the exchange of power beyond imagining. To gazed upon creation itself, and to obtain it wonders.
With this blade I will make the first slice, that will slowly releash you, from your gates!" spoke from the lips of Asun as he raised a kunai up into the air.
With a deep breath Asun drove the blade into his eyes, causing the vision in that eye to fade and bleed uncontrollable.
Asun screamed out in tremendous pain, as he slowly move the knife blade across his face, slicing the skin from around his eyes.
The pain that the boy was force to endure was excruciating to say the least, the knife sliced into his blood vessel drenching his face in blood.
The pain increased even more than he could possible imagine once he ripped, literally ripped the skin from around his left eyes from off of his face.
From that action, from that pain came a smile followed by a psychotic laughter as he dropped the bloody blade onto the floor in front of him.
"Yes...yes...Yeeesssssss!" yelled Asun unable to stop the laughter from coming from his lungs.
He was consumed with joy knowing that the ritual the ritual has just began.
Later that night back in the leaf village, Hinata sit there sitting upon her bed in her room just waiting in silence for her sister to come by and talk about what happen that evening!
Hinata felt awful for just leaving her sister there all alone, but she had no other choice. It was oblivious that nobody cared about Naruto! And no one cared if he was alive and well, or six feet in the ground.
Only she cared for the kind soul that she remembered Naruto was, no one else and that broke her heart.
The girl knew that if she did not do something, then Naruto would stay lost, and his story would end there without a proper ending. But for no she wait for her sister to confront her and talk about her actions.
Once her sister entered her sister room, she quickly asked in a disappointed tone of voice "I did you leave me all alone?" spoke Hanabi heart crushed to know that her sister abandon her on the streets of the village
Hinata sit there still in silence staring into the eyes of her sister, seeing an angry look in her eyes. Staring that her like she have dishonored her, Hinata might as well have she did just left her alone, with no one to protect her.
With no response only hurt Hanabi even more, "Why won't you speak to me!?" spoke Hanabi in a angry yet sad tone of voice, like she could brush out in teats in any moment.
"I not speaking because there's nothing to say. I saw a boy that remind me of someone that I cared for, just like you cared for Konohamaru. But that is no excuse for what I have done to you.
I'm sorry Hanabi" spoke Hinata feeling ashamed for what she have done to her sister
"Well it's okay, but please promise me that you will never do that to me again?" spoke Hanabi willing to forgive and forget, she still love her sister
But her sister still felt ashamed, what she did was unforgivable that she did not wish for forgiveness
"I don't deserve forgiveness!" spoke Hinata with her pride crushed into miliions pieces
"Please just leave" spoke Hinata not willing to accept forgiveness so easily
"Not before you tell me who you saw?" spoke Hanabi wondering who would make her sister leave her side like she did.
"He just a faded picture now. Just forget it!" spoke Hinata having really low self esteem as she stood from her bed and pushing her sister out of her room
When Hinata closed the door, she drop to the knees and started crying for two reasons.
One because she betrade her sister, and second she did not find Naruto!
These two things caused Hinata to feel enough sadness and shame to bring a river of tear to burst from her eyes.
Hanabi could hear her sister sadness even from the hall, and instead it making her feel sadness, it caused her to be furious at her sister.
She stood from the floor and said to her sister in a rage filled tone of voice "Fine! Don't accept my forgiveness. I hope you rot!" spoke Hanabi just so angry that her sister did not accept her forgiveness
The fury that was just inside of Hanabi poured over to the next morning, Hinata was still was not ready to accept forgiveness and Hanabi was no longer giving it!
As they two sit there at the dinner table with their father eating breakfast, the thoughts that her relation ship that Hinata made with her sister shattered into pieces in just one day,
From one mistake lead to her sister being angry at her, but maybe she could be mad, she did abandon her after all. With nothing to show for it either, just empty words and shallow action.
The tension coming from the two girls was so rough and painful, that it would make a normal person throw-up. Their father did not help the situation,
He mocked his oldest child, for what you might ask? She could not answered your questions, and I think Hiashi don't even no why he was mocking and was bringing Hinata down.
It got so back that Hinata could no longer take his abuse, "I think my had enough. Thank you for the food father!" spoke Hinata still being respectful to her father, even after what he said to and about her!
When Hinata left the table, Hanabi truly could see what kind of evil things that her father would say to her big sister, and it was not pretty.
She felt sorry for her sister, she knew deep down she want to comfort her sister and say she was sorry, but Hinata was going through something that only she could go through.
And saying that she forgive her, would only make things for Hinata a lot worst. That's why Hanabi stayed quiet!
Once Hinata stepped outside of house, she made her eyes to the Hokage building to speak to the Third Hokage, about a matter of what she think of great important.
"Come in?" spoke the Third Hokage allowing for Hinata to step foot into his office
"Ah Hinata what a pleasant surprise. What brings you to my office!?" spoke the Third Hokage as he stared at Hinata
"Yes! I wanted to talk about Naruto!" spoke Hinata hoping that the Hokage would have the answers in which she desperately need.
"Ah, I thought that you might with questions about Naruto! Sit down, there's something I must tell you?" spoke the Third Hokage preparing to spell the truth behind what they was going to with the Naruto case.
The Story Will Continue In The Next Chapter
