Well… this was certainly a very emotional story to write. I hope it was a similar experience to read. Now that it's over, I'd like to do a little something I've wanted to do for nearly every fanfic I've ever done, but never had the courage to: end credits!
First, a little something for disclaimer purposes—specifically, the songs which are sung in Chapter 3. I constructed a little something based on Yankovic's polka medleys, by piecing together some of my favorite songs from the 50s and 60s. These songs are:
"Working for the Man"
written by Roy Orbison and Joe Melson
performed by Roy Orbison
1964
"The Shoop Shoop Song (It's In His Kiss)"
written by Rudy Clark
performed by Betty Everett
1964
"Sh-Boom"
written by James Keyes, Claude Feaster, Carl Feaster, Floyd F. McRae, and James Edwards
performed by The Chords
1954
"Runaway"
written by Del Shannon and Max Crook
performed by Del Shannon
1961
"Ooby Dooby"
written by Wade Moore and Dick Penner
performed by Roy Orbison
1961
"It's My Party"
written by Walter Gold, John Gluck Jr., and Herb Weiner
performed by Lesley Gore
1963
"All I Have To Do Is Dream"
written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant
performed by the Everly Brothers
1958
"Wonderful World"
written by Lou Adler, Herb Alpert, and Sam Cooke
performed by Sam Cooke
1960
Hope that interests you. And now the real fun part: the cast list!

That whole thing was arranged in the very precise order of how many lines they have in the story… because that's the sort of thing I do.
And hey, just in time for Episode 100 to come around and give official voice actors to the background characters, thus rendering much of this list obsolete, hehe. I do hope I'm right about Stef Lang and David Tennant, though. We'll see. Preview clips for Episode 100 came out yesterday, and imagine my shock when I saw the Doctor talking to the Dude. o.o Always stealing from me, this show.
There might be a few characters on that list who you didn't even realize were in the story… for most of them, those are the carolers, who I didn't bother to identify. This story is loaded with characters from the show who I couldn't identify in the narrative without getting clunky, but I have a list to remind me where they all belong. I dream of converting the story to some sort of visual medium someday so that I can share exactly who they are, what they're wearing, what I picture this world looking like.
Anyway, thanks for reading. Feels nice to finish a story. It's been a while since I did that. Whoever's reading this, drop me a review, and I hope to see you again sometime.
