"We got a report on someone matching scars description. We believe he was headed here." Miles said calmly.
"An abandoned mining town?" Kimbley questioned.
"That's right. Baschool is practically a ghost town since the mines collapsed." Yumi glanced around curiously as she stepped out of the car, a deep sigh building in her throat.
"Plenty of buildings for him to hide in." She observed.
"This could be tricky." Kimbley commented causing Yumi's eye to twitch.
"We'll need to split into search parties." Miles decided. "All squads are to contact us here immediately if you spot Scar!" Miles said loudly.
Yumi glanced over her shoulder in annoyance to find two very tall guys stood behind her, as if they were guarding her. One had sleeked back blonde hair with a blonde mustache, and the other had black hair with a black gouty. "Can I help you?" Yumi snapped, turning around fully with one hand on her hip.
"We're to keep you company." Blonde hair said causing her to narrow her eyes briefly in irritation.
Failure concentrating
Body/motor responses hesitating
Soul/ego shaking
Blur between daydreams and awakening
Loss of control and perpetual

She narrowed her eyes as she walked through the streets, Kimbley's two minions following her the whole time. 'I wonder what it would take to ditch these two...' She thought to herself before an idea hit her. She smirked before she took off running.
"H-hey! Wait for us!" Blondie screamed after her as she quickly did a hand stand up onto a railing before she started to alchemize earth steps that disappeared the moment her feet left them. She jumped through a window and abruptly closed the window off easily, making it look like just another part of the outside wall.
"Where'd she go?" The voice of her babysitters could be heard back down in ground level causing her to snicker.
"Now that that's settled." She murmured before she started to walk through the halls. She made up to the roof searching from roof, to roof, to roof, and getting nowhere. At least she knew that Martel was safe, back down in the car. Well, as safe as you could be around Kimbley, anyway. A loud explosion suddenly distracted her from her thoughts. She took off running in the direction of the forming smoke, jumping from one rooftop to the next before she shot into a building through the window.
What she saw was something she hadn't expected. She watched as scar fought against two chimera's. One had razors on it's back like a hedgehog bit had the face that looked like a pig or boar. The other was yellow and slimy like a frog of some kind. She narrowed her eyes. "Ugh!" She exclaimed as some spit splattered onto her shoe. "Enough of this." She muttered before she pulled out her gun and started to fire ruthlessly at the two.
"What's wrong with you! We're all on the same side here!" Hedgehog said. 'That voice...These must be two of Kimbley's men.' She thought to herself before she smirked.
"Psh. Like I'd ever lower myself to being on the same side as two monsters like you." She snapped, eyes narrowing. "As you seem to love spitting so much, I think I'll drown you and bury you before I take him and go." She commented.
"You damned brat." Frog boy snapped. She grinned before she pulled a charm off of her bracelet. She caught it in her hand and slammed her other hand onto it causing water to pour in from the walls, washing over them all. "HA! Nice try!" The frog gloated causing her eyes to narrow.
"Shit." She muttered. "Okay, then."
"Okay, Yumi, you've had your fun."
"Wait a sec-" She stopped mid sentence and her eyes turned purple. "You'll find I won't be quite as merciful as my counterpart." Misery said with a smirk.
"What?" Zampano narrowed his eyes as he watched the girl who had been pissed off before and now was just calm, putting the guns and bracelet away but still managing to appear dangerous. He blinked and suddenly, standing there, instead of the girl, was his wife. She smiled sweetly at him and sang that same song she always did. Next thing he knew he was on the ground with her finger nails digging deep into his throat. "...Why?" The image glitched several times before it disappeared, leaving Misery there, an almost insane grin spread across her face as she held him up high off the ground suddenly before throwing him at the wall, hard.
"Sorry, Miz. Can't have you killing them all now." Yumi said before she turned to Jerso. "Now, where was I? Oh yeah. I was about to kick your ass." She said with a smirk.
"Go ahead and try, girlie." He said with a growl.
She rolled her eyes. "They never learn." She muttered. She was about to use alchemy on him when he suddenly used his power to spit on one of her hands. "Your special power is FUCKING SALIVA!? That's just GROSS!" She snapped at him before she slipped one bracelet on and smirked as she slammed a fist down onto the ground, causing the earth to lift, like a rug, moving a churning before it wrapped tightly around him. She smirked before she used some fire to melt the saliva on her trapped hand before she walked up to him and whacked him over the head harshly with her gun.
The sound of electricity made her turn around to see that Scar had freed himself. "Aw man. You just had to go and free yourself, now didn't ya?"
"If you try to stop me I will kill you."
"Go ahead and try." She offered, eyes narrowing in challenge to him.
"Tck." He grumbled before he slammed his fist on the ground, much like what she had done a moment ago, causing the earth to ripple and churn like a river.
"A move like that won't work on me!" She screamed over the loud rumbling. She slammed both hand down on the ground causing the earth to do the same thing on her side, but stronger. The force of it knocked him back on his ass. She rushed forward and trapped his hands to the ground with ease.
*CRASH!*
"What happened!?" A soldier exclaimed from ground level as another explosion went off.
"Where did that girl with the snake tattoo's go!?" Another one asked.
"She was in the car, is she not still?" Kimbley's eyes narrowed in frustration and confusion.
"What is going on up there?" He muttered under his breath. Another explosion struck the same building causing a majority of the soldiers to more of less, freak out. Yumi suddenly came out of the smoke at full speed, hurling towards Kimbley.
"YOU BASTARD!" She screamed in his face. "What happened to not trusting Martel, huh? Oh yeah, you trusted her enough to let her out of your sight, a snake chimera and now that asshole has her!" She screamed, eyes flickering between blue and purple at an incredibly fast pace.

I'm really sorry you guys, I was super obsessed with updating this when I lost computer control for a god couple o' months, but... by the time I got a new lead, I had forgotten all about this story and lost so much of my inspiration. I'd like to make some dedications, though.
To ZeroWolfWriter: who convinced me to RP Greed on an RP forum their part of.
To Kp1177, MorbidKitten2, and somebody I've only met recently and only rped for the first time with today, Raven Whisperer: who all put up with my random weirdness enough to RP consistently with me this past week. Without them and that RP forum I would probably still be procrastinating and still have no inspiration for this fanfic. RPing with them gave me the little push my inspiration needed to enter to front of my mind, instead of the dark hole that is the...back of my mind.
It's 2:30 am here right now, so I should probably get off. And I know you guys are probably SO confused right now, don't worry, all shall be made clear. I'm sorry if this seemed really rushed or short, the next chapter I will try to make longer.
Again, SOsorry for my nearly year long absence, I'll try to update as much as possible within the next two weeks. I was obsessed with updating my Skyward Sword fanfic for three weeks, but in two weeks ouat comes back, so I might end up getting obsessed with updating my ouat story in a couple of weeks, but I'll try my very best to update this as much as possible before that time comes.
