As the group swirled around the swirly part of the current, Krissa, Rufus, and Marlin screamed while Crush laughed, clearly enjoying the thrill of the current.

"Righteous! Righteous!" The elder turtle screamed. As the group reached a calmer part of the current, Krissa and Rufus breathed a sigh of relief. Krissa enjoyed riding the roller coasters at her local Six Flags, but there were no safety harnesses on that 'ride.' Marlin, however, looked like he was going to be sick.

"So, what brings you on this fine day to the EAC?" Crush asked.

"Well...it's kind of a long story..." Krissa said, not sure of how to explain why she was there. Or that she wasn't even a fish by birth for that matter.

"Say no more, clearly you're a traveler, following wherever the current takes you!" Crush exclaimed.

"Sure...let's go with that," Krissa responded.

"Eh heh, yeah!" Rufus said.

"What about you, Jellyman?" Crush asked Marlin.

"Well," the clown fish began, "Dory and I need to get to Sydney." Marlin then gasped. "Dory! Where is she?! Is she alright?!"

"Oh, Little Blue," Crush responded, "She's sub-level, dude." The turtle motioned towards a turtle below him. Lying down on the shell was a little blue fish, it appeared to be a blue tang. It also appeared that she had a fresh scar on her.

"Dory!" Marlin exclaimed. Dory's fin was covering her eyes, and she was mumbling to herself. "Oh, Dory. I'm so sorry. This is all my fault, it's my fault..."

"What happened to her?" Krissa asked Crush.

"Lil' Blue and Jellyman braved there way through the jelly forest. Let's just say their bites were worse than there barks."

"Ouch. Will she be okay?"

"..29, 30! Ready or not, here I come!" the blue tang exclaimed. She popped up excitedly, a big smile on her face. She chased around several young turtles that came out of hiding.

"I guess that answers my question," Krissa stated.

"Who are you?" Dory asked as she and Marlin made there way back up to the group.

"I'm Krissa. This is Rufus."

"Hiya," Rufus stated.

"Nice to meet ya, Kyra, Rupert!"

"Huh?" Krissa said confused.

"Short-term memory loss," Marlin told Krissa.

"Gotcha." Krissa watched as an older turtle launched several turtle children in the air like a swing. One of the little turtles, however, was launched a little too far.

"Whoa, whoa, WHOA!" it screamed, and he splashed his way out of the current. This made Marlin and Krissa gasp.

"Oh, no!" Krissa said.

"Oh my goodness!" Marlin exclaimed, ready to go after him. Crush, however, placed a fin in front of Marlin, stopping him from going further.

"Whoa! Kill the motor, dude. Let us see what Squirt does flying solo," he said calmly. The group watched as the young turtle swam back towards the current, eventually splashing his way back in.

"Whoa! Whoa! That was so cool!" the young turtle screamed excitedly, "Hey dad, did you see that?! Did you see me?! Did you see what I did?!"

"You so totally rock, Squirt!" the older turtle exclaimed. "Give me some fin." The turtles high fived. "Noggin." They bonked heads.

"Dude!" both turtles said together. Looking at the two, Krissa figured that the pair were father and son.

"Oh, intro. Jellyman, Offspring. Offspring, Jellyman," Crush said. "And Lil' Blue, Pinky, and Lil' Pink."

"Jellies?!" Squirt exclaimed, "Sweet!"

"Totally!" Crush responded.

"Well, apparently I must've done something you all like," Marlin said, "Uh, dudes."

"YOU ROCK DUDE!" Squirt exclaimed as he head-butted Marlin.

"Ow," Marlin said, rubbing his head.

"Curl away, my son!" Crush said as his son swam away. "Aw, it's awesome, guys. Little dudes are just eggs, leave em on the beach to hatch, then coo coo cachoo, they find their way back to the big 'ol blue."

"All by themselves?" Marlin asked.

"Yeah," Crush answered.

"Nothing is better than watching them work hard and learn something new," Krissa stated, thinking of the kids she worked with during her classroom internships.

"But, but, dude?" Marlin began to ask, "how do you know when they're ready?"

"Well, you never really know. But when they know, you'll know, you know?"

"Hey look everybody!" Dory said. A whole bunch of turtle children, including Squirt, now surrounded her. She was pointing at Marlin.

"I know him, he's the Jellyman!" Squirt exclaimed.

"Well, go on! Jump on him!" Dory exclaimed. The whole group of young turtles tackled Marlin. Krissa couldn't help but giggle as she watched Marlin struggle.

"TURTLE PILE!" they all screamed.

"Are you funny?" one of them asked.

"Where's your shell?" another asked.

"Are you running away?"

"Did you really cross the jellyfish forest?

"Did they sting you?"

"Mr. Fish, did you die?!"

"Sorry, I was a little vague on the details," Dory said.

"So where are you going?" Squirt asked.

"Well, you see my son was taken. My son was taken away from me." All of the little turtles gasped.

"No. way." Dory said.

"Poor guy," Krissa said.

"Awww..." Rufus responded.

"What happened?" Squirt asked.

"No no kids, I really don't want to talk about it."

"Awww..." all the little turtles said. "Please?"

Marlin sighed. "Well...okay. You see, I live on this reef, a long, long way from here."

"Oh boy," Dory said, "this is gonna be good. I can tell."

"And my son, Nemo, see he was mad at me, and maybe he wouldn't have done it if I hadn't been so tough on him, I don't know. Anyway, he swam out in the open water to this boat and when he was out there, these divers appeared and I tried to stop them but the boat was too fast. So we swam out in the ocean to follow them..."

Krissa listened to Marlin as he told his story. This made her think about her childhood growing up. About her family. About her friends. About her life...

"Maddie," a young Krissa exclaimed, "you're doing it wrong!" Seven year old Krissa had long blonde hair with bangs, and she also wore a pink pair of glasses. She was playing Barbies with her younger sister, who was about a year younger than her. She also had blonde hair, which was cut pixie style.

"If I want my Barbies to go to church on Sunday, then they can!" Maddie exclaimed.

"But they're supposed to be going to the surfing party!" Krissa yelled back.

"EH EAT!" Their two-year old brother, Donavan, exclaimed while knocking on their bedroom door. Apparently their parents had sent him to tell them that dinner was ready. The girls dropped their Barbies as they ran to wash up for dinner.

"COMING!" Both girls exclaimed.

Look up Chances by Five for Fighting

A family picture is then shown of Krissa's family. It includes her parents, Maddie, and Donavan. Everyone in the family was blonde (though the mother's hair was a darker blonde.

5 year old Krissa is seen opening presents in front of the Christmas tree.

Krissa is dancing in her first grade talent show with another girl, both wearing cowgirl outfits.

At age 7, Krissa is hugging a beagle puppy.

The scene changes to Krissa at about 8 years old, playing the piano during a recital, then she is shown singing a song at church with Maddie and her younger cousin, Melanie.

The scene changes to Krissa, at about 10 years old, at the baseball stadium wearing a baseball cap. She is with her dad, who is a heavier set blond man.

Krissa is seen holding a gray tabby kitten.

Krissa is then shown body boarding in the ocean.

Krissa, at about 13 years old (still wearing glasses, bangs grown out), is seen dancing with a group of people in the school gym.

Krissa at about 15 years old (no longer wearing glasses, hair grown to middle of back), is laughing with a small group of people in the high school cafeteria.

Krissa is celebrating her sweet 16 with her two best friends, Aubrey (a brunette), and Dena (also a brunette with bangs). Krissa, wearing a gold dress, is pretending to karate chop their birthday cake as they cut it.

Krissa and her friends are riding their limo on their way to their senior prom.

Krissa, Aubrey, and Dena are singing at the top of their lungs in Dena's car.

19 year old Krissa (still long hair), Aubrey, and Dena are taking pictures at the beach during sunset. Aubrey and Krissa hold hands and jump and Dena takes the picture.

Krissa and Aubrey are seen screaming and cheering at a college football game.

Krissa (now with hair that hovers above her shoulders) is seen at a lounge on her 21st birthday. Her friends around her each have a cocktail in front of them.

"How old are you, Krissa?" Her dad asks her through the video camera.

"Six years old!" Krissa exclaimed holding up her fingers. She still had long blonde hair and glasses.

"I'm older!" Her cousin, Kate, screamed said into the camera smiling. She had blonde curly hair and glasses.

"Barely!" Krissa exclaimed. "Is there ice-cream cones? I want chocolate!" The scene changes to her blowing out the candles on her Rugrats cake. Maddie looks bored (and slightly jealous), baby Donavan is making a mess in his high chair, and Krissa is smiling as her family sings to her.

"Love you!" Krissa is seen waving into the camera.

Krissa did well to put home in the back of her mind. She knew dwelling on that fact that her world had fallen would bring her down. Make her weak. At that moment, however, she wondered when, or if, she would go home again. If she would see her friends and family again. The thought of never returning home was saddening. She missed her life. Her loved ones...

"You ready?!" Crush exclaimed, snapping Krissa out of her daze.

"Y-yeah," Krissa said, "For what?"

"Your exit's coming up, man!" he responded.

"Where?! I don't see it!" Marlin exclaimed.

"Right there!" Dory screamed pointing, "I see it, I see it!" She was pointing to a twisty current separating itself from the EAC.

"You mean the swirling vortex of terror?!" Marlin exclaimed.

"That's it, dude!" Crush responded.

"Looks like we're going on another ride..." Krissa mumbled.

"Okay first," Crush started, "Find your exit buddy!" He stuck Rufus onto Krissa, and Dory grapped a hold of Marlin. "Do you have your exit buddy?"

"Yes!" Dory said.

"Si," answered Krissa.

"Okay, Squirt here will now give you a rundown of proper exiting technique!"

"Good afternoon, we're gonna have a great jump today! Okay, crank a hard cutback as you hit the wall! There's a screaming bottom turn, so watch out! Remember: rip it, roll it and punch it!" The young turtle spoke with such a fast, squeaky voice. Because of this, nobody could understand him.

"Huh?" Krissa said.

"It's like he's trying to speak to me, I know it!" Marlin exclaimed. "You know, you're really cute kid! But I don't know what you're saying! Say the first thing again!"

"Okay, GO GO GO!" Crush screamed, and Squirt pushed the four into the exit. They all screamed as they twisted around the exit!

"AHHHH!"

"WAHOO!"

"WEEEEE!"

All four of them laughed once they were out. The EAC (along with the turtles) was visible behind them.

"That was...fun!" Marlin exclaimed.

"Hey look! Turtles!" Dory exclaimed.

"Most excellent!" Crush laughed, "Now, turn your fishy tails round and swim straight on through to Sydney! No worries, man!"

"No worries!" Marlin answered, "Thank you, dude, Crush!"

"Bye Jellyman!" The Turtle Kids exclaimed as they grabbed onto Crush.

"See ya later, Dude!" Squirt called out.

"Bye everyone!" Dory called out!

"Later!" Krissa called.

"Buh Bye!" Rufus said.

"Ah, Nemo would have loved this." Marlin said. "Oh, hey Crush, I forgot! How old are you?!"

"A hundred and fifty dude! And still young! Rock on!" the turtle called as the current took them away.

"A hundred and fifty! A hundred and fifty, I gotta remember that." The group then turned around and were frozen at the sight of a large fog in the open ocean.

"Whoa," Dory said.

"Could cut a knife through that," Krissa said.

"We goin' in there?" Dory asked.

"Yep," Marlin responded.

"P. Sherman, 42, Wallaby Way, Sydney?"

"Yep," Marlin said once again. "We're just gonna swim straight."

"Not that we could see if we wanted to go somewhere else," Krissa said.

"Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming," Dory sang.

"Dory?" Marlin said, asking her to stop.

"I spy something, orange and small..." Dory said.

"Me, and let me guess on the next one, me," Marlin said. The group had been swimming through the fog for the last couple hours, and that was all Dory had been doing the entire time.

"Boy, you're smart," Krissa said sarcastically.

"Okay, that's just scary!" Dory said.

"Wait, I have definitely seen this floating speck before! That means we've passed it before and that means we're going in circles and that means we're not going straight!" Marlin began freaking out.

"Marlin, calm down!" Krissa said.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hey! Relax. Take a deep breath," Dory said. The group took a deep breath. "Now let's ask somebody for directions."

"Oh, fine. Who do you wanna ask, the speck? There's nobody here!" Marlin stated.

"I don't know, that water molecule an hour behind us looked like he might have known something," Krissa joked.

"Well, there has to be someone. It's the ocean, silly, we're not the only two in here. Let's see...okay, no one there. Uhh, nope. Nada," Dory said, then she gasped. "Hey, there's someone!" She said, pointing to a silhouette in the distance. "Hey! Excuse..."

"Dory!" Marlin interupted, "Okay, now it's my turn. I'm thinking of something dark and mysterious. It's a fish we don't know. And if we ask it directions, it could ingest us and spit out our bones!"

"What is it with men and asking for directions?" Dory said.

"Look, I don't wanna play the gender card right now. You wanna play a card? Let's play the 'Let's Not Die' card!" Marlin exclaimed.

"I really don't wanna be sharkie food, either," Krissa said.

"Nuh uh!" Rufus exclaimed.

"How are we gonna get outta here unless we give it a shot and hope for the best? Hmm? Hmm!? Come on, trust me on this." Marlin took a look at Dory's scar, then sighed. Because he didn't listen to her earlier, they got stuck in the jellyfish forest.

"Alright," he answered. Krissa silently began praying to herself as Dory began talking.

"Excuse me! Woohoo! Little fella? Hello. Don't be rude, say hi."

"Heh, hello," Marlin said.

"His son Bingo..."

"Nemo..." Marlin and Krissa interupted.

"Nemo, was taken to uh..."

"Sydney," Marlin and Krissa answered.

"Sydney! Yes! And it's really, really important that we get there as fast as we can. So can you help us out? Come on, little fella, come on..."

"Dory, I'm a little fella," Marlin began, " And I don't think that is a little fella..." the silhouette then looked a lot bigger.

"Oh. Oh, oh, big fella. Whale! Okay. Maybe he only speaks whale. MOOOOO WEEEEEEE NEEEEEEEEEEED" Dory began talking in a weird voice.

"Dory?" Marlin asked, "What are you doing?"

"TOOOOOOOOOOOO FIIIIIIIIIIIIND..."

"Dory?!" Marlin stated. Krissa could only stand (or float, rather) there in shock, not knowing what to say.

"HIIIIIIIIIIIS SON!" The whale shadow disappeared.

"Look Dory, now you scared him away! You offended him!"

"COOOOOOOOOME BAAAAAAAAACK!"

"Great, he's gone. It's just a whale, he might be hungry!" Marlin panicked.

"Don't worry, whales don't eat clown fish, they eat krill!" Dory said.

"SWIM AWAY!" a bunch of krill squeaked as they swam by.

"Oh look, Krill!" Dory exclaimed. Marlin and Krissa froze.

"Not good," Krissa said. They turned around and screamed as they whale was right behind them.

"MOOOOOOOOOOOVE!" Marlin screamed. The whale opened its mouth, and a strong current pulled the fish inside as the group continued to scream.

Ok, that was a long chapter of basic movie scenes (plus the flashbacks), but I am trying to move the story along, especially since I haven't updated in a few weeks. I recently started a new job, so I haven't had as much time to work on this.

I also forgot my Krissa facts in the last chapter, so I'll add some now! I decided to make Krissa an aspiring teacher because I'm a teacher, so I wanted to make her character relatable to me. By doing this, it makes her character easier to write about. Though she's rather girly so to say, she loves football and baseball. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, she's never dyed her hair, and she hates cold weather. Her sister, Maddie, is one year younger than her, and her brother Donavan is 5 years younger. She is the oldest sibling. She began wearing glasses at the age of 2, and she wore them until she got contact lenses in high school. She still wears her glasses from time to time.

Look for the next chapter of Give Me Your Heart in the next few days!

Any more questions? Like the chapter? Let me know in a reviewwww! (BEEDAHHHDOOO :D)
