I lost my original version of this chapter, so I had to re-do it again. What a joy...
DISCLAIMER: YOU KNOW I AM NEVER GOING TO OWN HETALIA OR ANYTHING I MENTION THAT YOU KNOW I HAVE NO RIGHTS TO, SO WHY DO YOU NEED TO BE REMINDED ALL THE TIME?
The group of blonds, lead by Emil, headed to the flower garden. It's soil freshly weeded and watered, but they didn't really notice. Probably... Wait... Yeah, no, they didn't notice. Maddie thought that the flowers looked lovely and noted to ask Eliza or Franny who took care of them. While the Icelandic boy lead the group to the kitchen back door, (not that they knew that yet) in said kitchen a few moments before, Arthur with the help of Monicka's natural born leadership skills and lots of yelling from the both of them, the Brit left the kitchen with all his children. Aliana pulled the hood over her head again then resumed her previous activity of raiding the fridge, and Alistair walked out of the room into the hallway to the stairs to his room. He tracked a mixture of mud and dirt as he walked. Eliza and Francine were going to kill him for getting the mess all over the clean floors and stairs, but had he ever cared about them getting mad at him? Once, but that was for good reason.
Back to Maddie. Before they entered the kitchen, the Canadian heard the shuffling of feet, unfamiliar humming, and pulled the small platinum blond from the door. "Do you hear that?" She asked, after a few moments the others heard it and nodded. "Stay back until I say it's safe." She said in a serious tone, took out a pair of sharp scissors from her red trench coat pocket and slowly opened the door.
"Don't move." She said threateningly to the once again hooded Aliana. Loud enough for her to hear.
"Oh not again..." Aliana muttered before looking in the blonde's direction and met with the bright shine of scissors. "Ok. That's slightly more dangerous than last time." She said while taking off her hood.
"Aunt Ali?" Frayja asked peaking past Maddie to look at the Latino woman.
"Who else would it be? Jesus?" She asked sarcastically. Her brown eyes rolling in the same sarcastic manner.
"Yup that's Ali." The energetic Dane concluded.
Maddie put away the scissors remembering Aliana's name mentioned by the Indian kid... Haru? Yeah, Haru. About 21 names she had to memorize in the first 24 minutes she experienced here, and she honestly wasn't doing that bad of a job, I think...
The Scandinavian children came into the room once Maddie put the scissors away, taking that as a sign that it was safe. At least by the timid woman's standards.
Emil's eyes widened at what he saw on the counter. About .3% of the fridges contents laid messily on the clean surface. He glared at Aliana. "What are you doing touching my girlfriend?!" He furiously asked almost ready to punch her, even though he knew that she could easily beat him up.
There was a small confused silence that lasted 3 seconds before Maddie looked at the Icelandic and asked, "Did I hear you right? You said that the fridge was your girlfriend?"
And he nodded in response. "You got a problem with that?" He asked which transitioned to another short silence. Until-
"I've never seen a little boy confidently say that his girlfriend is a fridge, and I don't know if I should laugh, look at you like you're insane, or clap dramatically. So I've decided to walk into the hallway while chuckling." Aliana said before she snatched the carton of milk, the bag of apples, and some ham she put out on the counter. She closed the fridge door with her foot, and walked out of the kitchen while chuckling. Avoiding the dirt and mud on the floor like a boss, she went down the stairs to the basement, put the carton and bag of apples into her fridge, opened the ham then started eating it right from the package while she went to her TV and put on Netflix to Black Butler or something. Finally she crashed on the couch and watched the screen upside down.
"That's right Sebastian, molest Ciel." She said in a creepy voice. Oh, yup. Black Butler.
Meanwhile, back in the kitchen, Maddie was consoling Emil while the others, staring at one another as if having a psychic conversation, wondered why she had scissors in her pocket for a brief moment before joining her in comforting and calming their little (or in Rika's case, big) brother.
When he was calm, Frayja took charge, grabbed both Emil's and Madeline's hands and dragged them both into the hallway. She smiled while dragging them around the house once again while the rest followed in a sort of lazy fashion.
Hey, let's check on Toni or something. We've just been focusing on the blondes lately. Why should they get all the attention? Let's skip over to the Spaniard, shall we?
Toni followed the little children, Feli taking the lead, Hara keeping pace with Toni, Lovino was next to Feli, and Kiku was just behind them all. Feli was showing the Spaniard all his favorite places. Lovino was showing him some stuff too, but it was only when they were passing by it. Hara and Kiku didn't really speak much, only when they wanted to point out something they thought was essential. Like the bathrooms, the storage room, the kitchen, the fire exits in case there is a fire in said kitchen.
Alistair totally wasn't the one who almost burned the house down because he forgot how to make toast, and in turn, Francine made everyone memorize the fire exits. Making sure that if Alistair cooks they have an escape plan when it catches on fire. That did not happen. I repeat, THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.
Anyway, they had a calm tour. Yeah, nothing really hap-wait. The children where showing Tony the garden. Feli was overexcited, showing the Spaniard wonderful exotic flowers. Well, not really that exotic. There were beds upon beds of gorgeous national flowers from each of the children's countries, along with the workers, and the owner (also her friend who kinda just freeloads in her estate, but he hadn't met her yet). Beyond the bed of flowers was a cherry blossom tree, the pink petals it possesses scattered artistically all over the grass. There was a antique looking table with a few wooden chairs near the base of the tree. Antonio was curious, so he asked the children what that was for.
"Hey, what's that for?" He asked, pointing to the already described table and chairs.
Feli looked in the direction. "Oh, over there? That's were mamma used to have tea with everyone." He smiled sadly, a thing you don't see often with the boy, and it shocked the nanny.
"Moving on!" Lovi cried, walking ahead of everyone before they could protest. He knew if he didn't do something quick his brother was going to start crying, so being the good big brother he is, he yelled for the group to venture on. Which they did, but with a confused Spaniard in tow. 'Used to'? He thought.
Is something dark coming into this story? Oh, who knows, who knows?
