A month had past since then, Sam and Dean haven't talked much in the several days but it seems that they've both tried to forget the whole thing. Sam had been repressing everything, the argument with Dean, the disappointed look his dad gave him as they crossed paths, the worried glances of his friends... even Gabriel.

Damnit what is he doing?! What the hell was going on with his life?! Someone just appears in his life. With their golden freaking eyes and makes him fall for this guy. This GUY. Then only to disappear two seconds later. Was this guy even real? Really, the only person to know of his existence was Sam. No. He had to forget it. Never think of him again, ever since he met Gabriel everything turned upside down, in the worst way. Forget. Forget. Forget.

Sam was definitely crazy. Yepp. He was insane, he's been hallucinating this whole time, it was the only reasonable explanation. Still, Sam knew that he couldn't act upon it anymore, he had to use the old mask of his life before all of this. He will put on a smile and he will fake a laugh and he will not mention this experience ever again.

Sam woke to the screeching of the alarm clock, groaning he reached out clumsily and eventually hit the button, bringing his room into a deafening silence. He sat up feeling the same heavy weight inside his chest, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed Sam stood, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. When he looks up he stares at his perfectly sorted room of inanimate objects that seem to only be there for convenience now. Sam peels off his bed shirt, damp with cold sweat, before walking through the silent house into the bathroom to clean himself to be presentable to face the world another day.

After rinsing the soap off of his face one last time he swipes the dripping excess of to look at himself in the mirror only to see the mask he'd carefully constructed smiling back at him. He was ready for another day. Sighing, Sam made his way to his room only to pass Dean in the hallway and getting a "mornin'" groaned at him as a greeting.

Once dressed and having packed his bag, Sam jogged down the stairs making a lot of noise as he does. Mary was in the kitchen drinking coffee quietly at the table with her bowl of cereal in front of her. She looked up at greet Sam with a smile as he ran past to the kitchen to get his own breakfast.

Once Dean arrives downstairs, the two of them head to school. Dean talking into Sam's ear about how much he hates Biology exam practice or something to that extent as far as Sam heard. He wasn't really paying attention. They finally pulled into the school car park, Sam was out of the car before Dean had even switched off the engine. Sam could still hear Dean grumbling about something as he strode across the car park to his friends. Jo and Garth were sat on the wall chatting idly while Chuck had his head in a book of some sort, Jo noticed him first. She smiled and waved and Garth turned to smile at him too while Chuck lifted two fingers from his book to acknowledge him. Sam smiled widely and joined them, talking with Garth and Jo about how they were dreading practice essays later that day. Sam smiled and joked as he adjusted his metaphorical mask to suit his peers.

Sam played through his day, doing the same normal things, learning the same boring subjects, thinking of… well nothing. There was nothing to think about in reality, there was nothing interesting in his life to ponder over or any idle chat to reflect on. For a split second he heard 'but there was something interesting' in the back of his mind. Sam quickly pushed that thought completely out.

The day past just as quickly as all the rest, Sam waved to his friends with a grin and a "see you later", heading towards Dean's car. Sam walked his way across the car park crawling with teenagers, when he got nearer to the Impala, Sam could see his brother leaning against the other side talking with Castiel. Castiel was blushing about something Dean must have said, even though his back was towards Sam he could tell Dean would be smirking. The two guys were standing quite close though, if Sam didn't know better he'd say they were gay together but of course Dean would cringe at the idea.

"Hey guys" Sam spoke up to warn them he was approaching, they were probably talking about gross hook ups or something like that and Sam really didn't want to know. Instantly the other two boys stepped back from each other and Dean turned to face Sam, "Hey Sammy", Castiel just waved and smiled at him. Sam got into the car and sighed, as Dean and Cas climbed in, Cas sitting in the backseat. Dean turned to Sam "Cas is staying over tonight, if that alright-y with you" Sam shrugged mumbling a "whatever". Sam couldn't care less who Dean brought home, it made no difference to him, plus, Castiel is at their house so much he might as well have his own draw for his clothes. "Awesome!" Dean reached over and messed up Sam's hair, much to his annoyance. The rock music started blasting and they pulled out of the car park, heading home to end another normal day.
