Prowl sat at his desk and worked, looking over every now and then to look at his youngest who was lying on a pile of blankets while she recharged. He smiled a bit and continued working. A few minutes later he picked her up and held his arm around her tiny frame. She cooed in her sleep and clung to Prowl's armor. He smiled down at her and stroked her helm before leaning back and reading a data pad.

-Later-

Jazz and Hound watched their sons. Illusion grabbed Cytain's servo and pulled him to the boxes of toys. Hound smiled.

"They're like best friends now," said Jazz. Hound nodded in agreement.

"It's pretty cute. Illusion looks forwards to seeing Cytain every day."

-With Prowl-

Prowl walked to monitor duty with Cyria in his arms. He walked in the room and saw Red Alert working.

"You're late Prowl."

"I know Red. Jazz distracted me." Red was silent after that and Prowl sat down. Cyria babbled and Prowl looked over at Red.

"How's your small spark doing Red?" The security director looked at him slightly.

"Why do you care?" Prowl looked down at Cyria.

"Because I've been in your position before Red. You're scared. I can see it."

"You don't know what I am Prowl! Nobody does!"

"Inferno does. I do. I was scared when I was sparked too Red."

"You don't know what I am!" Prowl sighed.

"Red Alert I've been in your position before. When I was sparked with my twins I was scared. I was scared that I wouldn't be a good mother, that I'd lose them. Heck, I didn't even know who their sire was at first."

"At least your sparklings have a sire Prowl!" the security director snapped. Prowl sighed.

"I'm sorry if I offended you in any way Red Alert. I was just saying that you're not the only one who has been scared to have a sparkling. Mirage was, I was, Wheeljack was, Beatstream was...You're not alone Red. There's several bots who have been carriers and sires here. You should talk to one of them. You could even talk to Optimus...He had a son. He was scared too. Everyone's scared the first time." Red nibbled on a rust stick.

"I can give you advice if you want." Red sighed rubbed his optics.

"I'm sorry for snapping...Thank you Prowl..."

"You're welcome Red."

-Later-

Prowl stood up and held his daughter to his chest. Red grunted slightly.

"Are you ok Red?" Prowl looked over at him.

"Y-yeah. I'm just having trouble getting up." Prowl walked over and held out his servo. Red looked at him before taking his servo and Prowl pulled him up.

"That was always the part that sucked."

"I feel like a burden to Inferno from needing help all the time."

"I felt like that too." Prowl walked out with Red beside him.

"I'm going to the rec-room to get energon, are you coming with?"

"Yeah...Ratchet's already gotten onto me 3 times for not drinking enough energon." Prowl chuckled slightly.

"It was the same when I was carrying the twins." Cyria babbled and Prowl stroked her helm. Red looked at her. They walked into the rec-room. Prowl walked over and grabbed a cube for himself and a small one for Cyria. Red grabbed 2 for himself.

"I hate having to drink so much." Prowl nodded in understanding. Prowl sat Cyria on his knee and gave her the small cube.

"Is it hard?"

"Huh?"

"Being a mom. It is hard?" asked Red as he sat down and rested a servo on his bump.

"It depends. It can be really challenging one day and easy the next. Most of the time you just let your instincts guide you."

"Instincts?"

"So called 'Maternal Instincts'."

"Oh...I hope I have good maternal instincts...I doubt that I would though...since my glitching makes me go crazy."

"I'm sure you'll be fine Red." He sighed. Cyria babbled and played with Prowl's servo. Red watched.

"...I think there's one thing I'm scared of more than being a mother..."

"What's that Red?"

"Premature labor...it runs in my family...my brothers and I were born at 5 months."

"You have brothers? As in more than one brother?" Red rubbed his bump.

"Yes. Two of them...we were triplets...but I don't know them."

"How do you not know them?" He shook his head.

"I don't know. It's a blur. I don't even remember their names." Prowl thought about that and stroked Cyria's helm. Red sighed and laid his helm back.

"Red!" The mech in question looked up as Inferno ran in. Prowl smiled a little as Inferno started fussing.

"I was looking for you all over the ARK!"

"I'm sorry Inferno. I was talking to Prowl. He was helping me." The black and white mech stroked Cyria's helm.

"It was nothing Red. I was trying to help you feel better."

"Thank you again though Prowl." Prowl smiled gently.

"I have more confidence than before."

"That's good Red."

-Later-

Prowl sat in his and Jazz's quarters and held Cytain and Cyria in his arms. They gurgled.

"You're a natural with sparklings Prowler." Prowl looked up at his mate.

"You always say that Jazz."

"I say it 'cause it's true." Jazz walked over, sat next to him, and wrapped his arms around Prowl's shoulders.

"Jazz."

" 'Ey it's not in public. You're all mine now." Jazz kissed his neck and helm. The twins giggled. Prowl blushed.

"Jazz stop it. The sparklings are right here."

"Well they need to know that their mommy and daddy love each other very much." Jazz pulled Prowl's chin up and kissed him. Prowl chuckled a bit in the kiss and closed his optics. Jazz pulled off his visor, smiled down at his mate and sparklings, and hugged them.

"I love you three so much. I will never let anyone hurt any of you." Cytain and Cyria reached up and tried to grab his servos. Jazz let them grab his servo. Each of them grabbed 2 of his fingers.

"My little sweeties." Prowl smiled down at them.

-Later-

Jazz danced around the room slightly and held Cytain in his arms. The little black and white mech giggled and squealed happily. Prowl chuckled gently and held his servo to Cyria's back. She laid on his chest and sucked on her them.

"L'il Cytain likes to dance Prowler! I bet he likes music too!"

"You can see tomorrow when its your turn to watch him. I've nearly gotten Cyria asleep."

"Aww you party poopers!"

"Shut up Jazz."

"No bad words Prowler." Jazz covered his mouth.

"Hey! Jazz! Stop it!"

"Then give me some sugar," laughed Jazz.

"Jazz you're a pain in the aft!"

"But ya love me!" Jazz once again lifted his chin up and kissed him. Prowl kissed back then pulled away and looked at him with an unamused face.

"Ya gotta funny look on your face Prowler." Prowl glared as Jazz kissed him again.

"Come on Prowler! Give me a smile! You're gonna scare the sparklings with that frown of yours!"

"I'm gonna scare them?! What about you?"

"Ya know I'm only kiddin' Prowler!" Jazz laughed and lifted Prowl's chin again.

"I love ya."

"Yeah, yeah."

"Come on. Say it! Say ya love me!" Prowl glared.

"Come on sweetspark. Please!" No response from Prowl.

"Come on. Come on. Who's my good Prowler?"

"I'm not a Cyberwolf Jazz."

"Then say ya love me!"

"Fine Jazz. I love you too."

"There ya go!" Jazz laid Cytain in Prowl's arms and laid beside him. Cytain giggled.

"He defiantly takes after you Jazz."

"Of Course! One of 'em got to take after me!" They yawned. Prowl stood up and laid both of them in their cribs.

"Now come here Prowler." The Praxian rolled his optics and stood beside the berth. Jazz pulled him down on top of him.

"Jazz this is ridiculous!"

"So what?" Prowl sighed and laid his helm down.

"Night night Prowler."

"Goodnight Jazz." They both fell into recharge.
