It was finally time for the holidays and Yelena and Randy were on their way to the airport at four a.m. to catch the first flight to Cleveland. Yelena was dead tired and slightly annoyed by the fans approaching them and asking for Randy's autograph and she could see that he was too, but he loved his fans and put on a weary smile for them anyway. She didn't know how he did it. She was not a morning person and tended to want to snap people's neck if she was being harassed and hadn't had her coffee. They were waiting for their flight to be called when Mike sat down next to them a hat pulled down over his eyes and mumbling what sounded like "Good morning"

Randy went to get coffee and she leaned her head on Mike's shoulder

"Randy's coming with you to Cleveland?"

"Yeah. My mother insisted." she said with a yawn

Mike grinned "You nervous? About him meeting your family?"

"Terrified, but don't tell him that."

"It could be worse. You could be meeting his family. Its harder for women to meet their significant others family. Its like stepping into the sixth circle of hell."

"Why do you say that?"

Mike snorted "Think about it, shrimp. You're the first girl Randy has brought home in years. Of course they're all going to be a bit skeptical about you and wonder what made you so special over the other girls."

"Gee, thanks Mizanin. I'll remember that when I meet his family during Christmas."

"Good luck. You'll need it. Elaine Orton can be a piece of work when it comes to her boys." he said, pulling out his phone to pass the time

Great, now he had gone and scared her. She hadn't even thought about it.

Randy came back carrying, bless him, two large cups of coffee and handed one to her.
She sipped it greedily, ignoring the scorching on her tongue and welcomed the caffeine. Randy leaned his head back and closed his eyes and she watched him for a while, her mind screaming a thousand and one questions before she finally mustered up the courage to speak

"Randy?"

"Hmm?" he grunted, his eyes still closed

"What's your family like?" she asked

"Typically family. I've told you about them before." he said sleepily

"Yeah... But.. You'd tell me one of them doesn't like me right? Because I feel like I'm at a disadvantage. Women always have a harder time impressing the guy's family."

"What makes you say that?" he asked, peeking one of his gorgeous blue eyes open in confusion.

"Well, I mean. You're... you. You could charm an eighty year old deaf woman if you wanted to."

Randy laughed and kissed her forehead "Was that a compliment?"

"Randy" she groaned "I'm serious. I want to know that you'll tell me if they absolutely hate me."

"They are not going to hate you Yelena. How could they? You're you." he teased "Why are you getting so worked up about meeting my family? What brought this all on?"

"Well Mike said-"

Randy let out an annoyed growl "Mike! What did you say to her now?" Randy asked. He was growing tired of Mike and his big mouth.

Mike held up his hands to defend himself "I thought the girl should know what she's up against! Its not fair of you to keep her in the dark."

"She's not in the dark asshole, because she doesn't have anything to worry about, now you've scared her off!"

Yelena would have found their bickering funny if the subject wasn't so serious
"Guys!" she intervened "Randy, he didn't scare me off. I just want to be prepared, that's all." she said, wrapping her arms around him

He slipped an arm around her and kissed her forehead "You have nothing to worry about. My family will love you" Like I do he thought to himself

Yelena spied a familiar Chicago Cubs hat amongst the crowd
"Hey Phil!" she called, waving

He winced and turned in her direction before making his way over "Incognito is not your strong suit is it?" he asked as he sat down on the other side of Randy

"Nope. What are you doing here? I thought your flight left thirty minutes ago."

"It got cancelled because of the weather. The next flight isn't until Thursday evening. Looks like I'll be spending the holidays alone this year."

Yelena could tell that the Chicago native was upset. It wasn't every day Superstars could see their families and they valued these breaks.

"Well... You could come with us." she offered

"I don't want to impose on you guys." Punk objected

"Oh course you won't be imposing. I have the extra room and you could help Randy after I have an emotional breakdown trying to make all the desserts. Come on. Who wants to be alone on Thanksgiving?"

"Yeah man. You should come." Randy agreed

"Pleeeaaaassseee Philip?" Yelena begged, giving him the puppy dog face

"Alright alright! You twisted my arm!" he finally caved "How do you put up with that face?" he asked Randy

"I don't. I just give her what she wants. Its easier that way."

"You better go get your ticket before its too late." Yelena said triumphantly

They touched down in Cleveland around noon, parting ways with Mike before heading to her condo. She locked the door and held it open while the guys hauled in their bags

"What is in this thing?" Punk huffed as he brought in her luggage

"Oh you know, a dead body or two."

They got settled and she called Valilisa to let her know they made it there okay
"Okay." she said, hanging up the phone and going into her living room where the men were seated on her sectional sofa, carting a basket "The bathroom is the fist door on the left down the hall if you guys want to shower and if you want me to do some laundry, throw your things in here. I'm about to run to the store and get some groceries so I can cook for you guys before I prep everything for tomorrow."
She was getting a migraine just thinking about it. There was so much to do. The stores will be hellacious, it being the day before the holidays. She made a mental note to pick up a few Monster Energy drinks. She was going to need them.

Randy pulled her down laid a kiss in between her tense eyebrows. "Do you wants some help after dinner? You look exhausted and you haven't even started yet."

"You don't mind?" she asked

"Of course not. And Punk will help too." he said, elbowing the older man in the ribs

"Huh? Yeah of course." he agreed with a lopsided grin

"You're the best, you know that?" she told him

"Um no, that would be me" Punk corrected

Randy rolled his eyes and Yelena shrugged into her heavy coat "I'll be back in a flash." she told them

Randy laughed at the video of Phil's sisters smearing green frosting all over his face from his birthday. He had a kiddie party hat atop of his head and one of the girls blew on a noise maker. Phil's laughter boomed over all the voices around him. It was nice to see his friend having a good time. He was way to tense and grumpy all the time

"They got you good man." Randy chuckled

"They did. You know how I hate surprises and usually they can't keep it together long enough to surprise me but they did. Swipe to the next video so you can see the horrible present Chaleen gave me."

Randy obeyed, swiping the screen to the next video. He must have went the wrong way because instead of seeing Punk and his family, he saw Yelena, Rosa, and AJ along with three other guys he recognized

"Was this from the trip to Florida?"

"Yeah. And as usual. Rosa was playing ring leader." Punk laughed, tapping the screen to let the video play

Randy watched as AJ appeared, looking slightly intoxicated. She was a lightweight and never really could hold her liquor

"Never have I ever had a threesome" AJ giggled

"You have no life nugget" One of the dark haired guys laughed laughed as he knocked a shot back, Rosa and the dirty blonde doing the same

"Never have I ever?" Randy asked

"Yup. Rosa's idea." Punk told him

"Of course." Randy snorted

"Okay it's clear that I'm the biggest loser here, so this is the last one before I pass out" The dirty blonde slurred "Never have I ever slept with a co-worker"

Rosa and the other three guys downed a shot. Curiously, Randy watched as Yelena stared down at her shot glass, but the video cut short before he got a chance to see if she drank or not.

"Looks like you had fun." Randy mused

"We had a pretty good time. You wouldn't believe the talent some of those kids have down in Florida. They're going to give us a run for our money sooner or later."

"Who are these guys anyway?" Randy asked. He had heard of a few up and coming Superstars on NXT, but not a lot and these guys were doing big things in the company and taking everyone by surprise

"The the drunken one is Dean Ambrose. Formally known as Jon Moxley."

That name rang a bell. He had heard a lot of sick, twisted things about the former Dragon Gate wrestler and the great lengths he went to for entertainment. The guy was a bit of a nut job

"That one there is Tyler Black a.k.a Seth Rollins. A good buddy from Ring of Honor."

"Hmm." Randy muttered. He knew of him. The guy had major skills. We he broke into the business, there was no stopping him

"The big one is Roman Reigns. His older brother was Rosey."

"That's Sika's kid?" Randy had never heard of this one

"Yeah man. With a little bit more ring work, he'll be in the big leagues in no time. And the fact that he's kind of wrestling royalty doesn't hurt either."

Randy hoped that this Roman Reins guy didn't come in with a big head and an ego. He himself had been there and done that. Thinking he owned the place because he was a third generation Superstar.

But anyway, back to what was gnawing at him. "So... Did she drink?"

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Punk asked

"Yelena.. When Ambrose said never have I ever slept with a co-worker. Did she drink?"

Punk scratched his ear "I don't..." he stammered cleared his throat "I don't think so."

Randy narrowed his eyes

"What? It was a while ago, I can't remember!" Punk defended. God he hated doing this. He had hoped that he would never be in this position between Randy and Yelena and her Jericho mess. Randy had been his friend for years and Yelena was his friend to and she had trusted him with her secret, but it wasn't his to tell.

She was gone for three hours. The stores were bare, like a tornado had swooped in and took everything with it and she ended up going to four different stores to get everything on her list on top of something to make for dinner. She felt like she had ran around the earth and she was glad to be home. She carried all the bags up to save the guys a trip and had to take a breather before sticking the keys in her front door. Punk and Randy were right were she left them, except they were showered and in comfortable clothes

"A little help?" she called from the small hall from the door. She heard them coming. Randy appeared first, scooping up the heavy bags and kissing her before going to the kitchen followed by Punk, who picked up the remaining bags. He glanced over his shoulder to make sure Randy was out of earshot

"Your timing is impeccable." he whispered

"What?" she asked, confused as she slid out of her coat

"You haven't told him about you know who yet?"

"What?" she asked again

"Chris, you haven't told him?" Punk asked

Yelena tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear anxiously "Um... I haven't... Exactly gotten there yet."

Punk let out a groan "Yelena." he started

"I know, I know. I just... Things are so good right now, I don't want him to think I'm some kind of slut."

"You have to tell him. You have to tell him before he hears it from someone else. I know Chris, he's not going to keep his mouth shut forever."

"I know." Yelena said, running a hand through her hair "I'll tell him soon."

"Good. Because I'm not going to lie to him again."

She pulled at the sleeve of her sweater, her eyes downcast and she reminded him of the quiet, shy person she use to be around people. Randy and their friends had brought her out of her shell so much, she was so different now then she was when she was dealing with Jericho and he'd hate to see it all get shot to hell

"He won't think you're a slut. Randy is more understanding than you think. Just talk to him."

"I will. I promise."

"Good" he said, his cheery smile returning "What's for dinner?"

"Are you sure you don't need any help in here?" Randy asked, peeking his head into the kitchen

"I'm sure. Now get out. Its almost done." she laughed. This was his forth time coming into the kitchen and asking her that. She could tell that that was his way of asking if the food was done yet and she couldn't blame him. The aroma coming out of there smelled like heaven. The timer dinged on the stove and she pulled the Lasagna out of the oven carefully and set it on the cooling rack before taking off her oven mitts and headed out of the kitchen.

"I'm dying" Punk moaned miserably from the couch "Is the food ready yet?"

"Almost. I'm going to grab a shower and then it should be ready."

She padded to the bathroom and took a quick shower. When she was done, she went back into the kitchen, expecting the whole dish to be devoured, but it was still there, she took it out to the dining room table and laughed when she saw the plates and forks were already waiting. She went back and grabbed the salad from the fridge and the breadsticks, putting them all in the center of the round table

"Food's ready!" she called

"Finally!" Punk said, sliding into a chair

"Looks great babe." Randy said, sitting down, rubbing his hands together

She took his plate and cut a large square onto it before setting it down and doing the same for Phil before filling her own plate. She went into the kitchen once more and grabbed their drinks. She set a beer before Randy, a Pepsi in front of Phil, and a Monster in front of her plate and they ate. It was silent for a few minutes as them men dug into their food, humming in approval. It was only when they were both on their second helping did their voice return and conversation flowed on the subject of wrestling and the up and coming pay per view

"You're going to have to roll me to bed Yelena." Phil said once they were done eating

"That was great." Randy said, wiping his mouth, looking satisfied

"I'm glad you enjoyed it boys." she said, gathering their dishes and taking them into the kitchen

Randy's phone rang on the sofa "I could move if I tried right now." Randy said, sitting back.

Yelena sprinted to the living room and grabbed his phone, glancing at the I.D. "It's Mike." she said, handing it to him

"Hello?" he answered, putting it on speaker

"Hey Orton. What are you guys up to? Are you painting nails and braiding hair?" Mike asked

Randy rolled his eyes "We just finished dinner."

"I don't recall Yelena inviting me to dinner, the little hussy."

"That's because you don't have any home training, you big ass brute!" Yelena said loudly, sliding onto Randy's lap

"Are you guys ready for a night on the town?" Mike asked

"Nah man. I'm dead tired and thanks to Yelena, I'm going into a food coma." Punk joked

"Oh come on! You're in my city, I have to show my boys a good time. Plus there's this strip club that you have to go to-"

Yelena made a face and Randy quickly turned the speaker off "I don't know man" Randy said, rubbing the back of his neck "I promised Yelena I'd help her with the food for tomorrow." he tried, shooting her a sweet smile

"Nice save." she laughed "You can go if you want." she told him "But no strippers."

"God, she's acting like a ball and chain already." she heard Mike say

"Are you sure?" he asked

"Yeah. Go have fun." she insisted

He kissed her "I promise I won't be out late." he told her before turning to Phil "You coming man?"

"Nah, I'm cool. I'm gonna gonna hang out here. I'm beat."

Yelena got up and Randy made his way to the bedroom to get changed. He came out a few minutes later dressed in an Affliction t-shirt and jeans. She was rolling out dough when he dropped a kiss on her forehead

"Mike's downstairs. I'll be back soon."

"Okay. Have fun. Be safe."

Punk slid into a barstool and kept her company while she dove into prepping the desserts for tomorrow, asking her questions about the things she was making and eventually played helper. She chugged her energy drinks when she started getting tired. Phil let out a yawn

"Go ahead to bed Champ. You look like you're ready to drop dead."

"You sure?" he asked sleepily

"I'll be fine. Get some sleep." she told him

"Okay. Goodnight Lena." he said, heading into the guest bedroom

Hours passed as she worked diligently and before she knew it, it was passed two in the morning and Randy wasn't back yet. She labored on for another hour until she could barely keep her eyes open, her anxiety getting the best of her. Where was Randy? He said he wouldn't be out long and it was almost four in the morning. She checked her phone. Not one call or text. She was worried sick. He knew how important tomorrow was. It wasn't just about him meeting her family. There were other things too. She hated Thanksgivings. It was her least favorite holiday. Of course she was thankful to be able to be with her family, but she was always at her most vulnerable state being around so much food. She always felt like everyone was walking on eggshells around her and she hated it. But she would cross that bridge when she got there. Right now, she had she had cooking to do she wasn't even halfway done. Her supply of sugar that was keeping her up had long dried out and she was dead tired. Great, now she had to get up at the crack of dawn to finish. This would have been easier for her and done hours ago of Randy had kept his promise to help.

Had they went to the strip club after all? Anger bubbled in her chest at the thought of half naked skanks shaking their asses in his face. Knowing Mike, there was no telling what shenanigans he was getting into. She gripped the edge of the counter, her knuckles turning white, hot teats blurring her vision. Randy was fair game to any slut tonight. Mike might be engaged, but that didn't stop him from acting like an eligible batchelor. A ring didn't mean anything before marriage. And Randy didn't even have a ring on his finger to remind him that he was taken. Yelena brushed the tears away and unlocked the door for him so he could get in whenever he decided to come back. Brushing her teeth and putting her camera on the charger for tomorrow, she crawled unto bed. She hoped that Randy was having fun, because he was going to catch hell in his hands tomorrow.
