Thank you all for the reviews😁 I wasn't sure that I would be able to get this up tomorrow, so I'm posting it a day early. I'm so glad you loved the last chapter. Here is the aftermath. Enjoy!
They were in a frenzy. It was like once they started, they couldn't stop, not falling asleep until the wee hours of the morning
Yelena's eyes fluttered open and she picked her head up from Randy's warm chest. He tightened his firm grip around her waist, but his eyes remained closed. She watched his sleeping face, lightly kissing him before untangling her body from his and slipping out of bed all together. She stretched her arms over her head on the way to the bathroom, her naked body deliciously sore and splashed cold water on her face and brushed her teeth. Her foot touched something on the floor and she picked it up. It was Randy's shirt. She slipped it on and did a few of the buttons. She went into her bedroom and opened her dresser, pulling out a pair of underwear and a cozy pair of knee high socks and slid them on before tip toeing out of the room.
She still couldn't believe last night wasn't a dream. It was... Magical. It was like she had given him her soul. She had never known what it felt like to be made love to and now that she did, she craved it.
She went into the kitchen and took out the ingredients to make breakfast. She was just finishing up on an egg white omelet when a hands slid around her waist.
"Good morning." he whispered in her ear, nuzzling his face on the side of her neck
Just the sound of his voice was enough to send tingles up her spine. She craned her neck to touch her lips to hers "Good morning. I'm almost done here. Why don't you go sit."
Randy poured himself a cup of coffee and kissed her hair before going to the table.
She scooped his omelet on his plate , along with a stack of pancakes, toast, and bacon and took it out to the table, setting it down in front of him. She went back into the kitchen and returned with a fork, syrup, and butter.
"I could get use to this." he said, pulling her onto his lap.
He fed her some food from his plate and when he was done, she collected the dishes, rinsing them off before loading the dish washer. Randy backed her up against the counter, effortlessly picking her behind the knees
"You stole my shirt." he told her
"It looks better on me anyway." she said, locking her legs around his waist
"It looks better off of you too." he said, taking ahold of the fabric and tearing it open roughly, sending the buttons all around them
They never made it to her bed, settling on her living room floor in front of the TV for a "House" marathon. Yelena played with her phone, debating on whether she should bother to turn it back on. She truly didn't want to be bothered with it. She was perfectly content with her current state, wrapped in Randy's arms without a care in the world. Turning her phone back on would mean entering the real world again
"You should turn that back on. I forgot to tell you that your dad was going to call." he said, stroking her bare shoulder
She sighed and powered the device on. Her missed calls and received messages popped up immediately. A few were from her dad and there were a few texts from Val. She decided to call her first, taking the safe route.
"Thank god! I thought you fell off the face of the Earth or something" Val said as a greeting
"Nope I'm still grounded." she laughed, putting her on speaker
"Good. How are you?" Val asked "You doing okay?"
"I'm great actually. I've never been better." she said truthfully
Randy shot her a cheeky grin and kissed the tip of her nose
"I'm glad to hear that. Is Randy still there or did he run for the hills last night? I'd totally understand if he did."
"I'm still here Val. I don't scare that easily." Randy said
"Good to know. So, our darling sister just left the hospital."
Yelena rolled her eyes "How is she?" she asked anyway
"Whining like a big ass baby. You really did a number on her. You fractured her septum and her upper lateral cartilage."
Yelena smirked. She really had broken the bitch's nose "I can't say I'm sorry about that because I'm not."
"And you shouldn't be. She had it coming."
She could always count on Val to tell her if she was in the wrong or not.
"Oh my god, I almost forgot! How's Frederick? Is his face okay?" she asked, embarrassed. The guy had met her one time and she had welcomed him into the family by assaulting him. "He must think I'm some sort of animal."
Randy snorted with laughter and she smacked his arm lightly
"He has a bruise, but he's okay." Val assured her "He said remind him not to ever piss you off."
Yelena laughed "Well I'm going to let you go. I have to call dad."
"Okay. I'll talk to you soon. Bye Randy!"
"Later Val."
They hung up and she dialed her father's number nervously
"Yelena?" he answered
"Hey dad." she said uneasily
"How are you?" he asked
"I'm fine. How are things over there?" she asked, scratching the back of her neck awkwardly
Her father sighed deeply "Chaos. Irina is staying at the house. Your mother insisted and is taking care of her."
Yelena felt a twinge of guilt. The last thing she wanted was for her dad to be tortured by their mother because of her "I'm really sorry dad."
Randy got up "I'm gonna go put some clothes on" he told her, giving her some privacy
"Don't be sorry, it's not your fault. I've dealt with that old bat this long." he chuckled
She let out a small laugh "How is she doing?" she asked, referring to her sister
"Doped up on pain killers, I'm pretty sure you could hit her with a brick and she wouldn't feel a thing."
"Thanks, but I think I've done enough damage already." she joked
"I'm sure you're waiting for me to yell at you and tell you what you did was wrong."
"Yeah..." she said in a small voice
"You shouldn't have hit your sister. You know that is not the way we handle things."
"I know daddy. I'm sorry." she said, feeling like a small child "I didn't mean for things to get so out of hand."
"I know you didn't. Your sister is wrong for doing what she did too. It was classless and she should feel ashamed of herself for behaving the way she did." he said
Knowing Irina, she was still thinking she did nothing wrong in her warped little brain and her mother was too.
"I bet she'll think twice before doing it again, I'm sure of it." Nik laughed
Yelena let out a laugh. Her father was truly the best. Randy came back into the room, dressed in a pair of jeans and a North Face fleece jacket
"I'm glad you are okay. Is Randy still there with you?"
Yelena glanced up at him and smiled "Yeah he's still here."
"Good. He's good for you, I can tell. Bring him around more if we haven't scared him off."
"I plan to." she told him "Bye daddy. I love you." she said in Russian
"I love you too. Take care of yourself."
She hung up and released a sigh
"Everything okay?" he asked
"Yeah."
He sat next to her, his back against the couch "That looks bad." he said, referring to her discolored hand.
It was still a bit swollen and turning a deep purple and hurt when she flexed her fingers. It was starting to become painful. She had broken her sister's nose with it. She just hoped she didn't do too much damage that she couldn't work.
"I'll be okay." she said
"We'll get it looked at by Dr. Sampson when we get to the arena, but for now, get dressed so we can go grab a bite to eat. I'm starving."
"Do we have to? I'm really comfortable right here." she pouted
He chuckled "We can't stay holed up in here forever."
"Why not? I don't mind." she said, her eyes slipping down at his lips
He let out a growl "Don't do that." he said, noticing the way her green eyes turned three shades darker, almost animal-like.
"Do what?" she asked innocently
"Look at me like you want to eat me alive." he said
"I don't know what you're talking about." she said with a grin
"Go get dressed you little tease."
She begrudgingly got up and headed into her bedroom to find clothes.
I hope you enjoyed this even though it was a little short. I think Yelena gets badass points for breaking her sister's nose huh? What can I say, the bitch had it coming! Leave good reviews and the next chapter might go up early *hint hint* 😉
