Chapter 22: Christmas Update!
khdudeable: as the chapter title says, this is a special present for you guys! :) It's the reason I wasn't posting as well… and you still have 5 days to vote!... maybe 6! anyway I hope you guys are enjoying the story, and The reviews are what keep me going, so REVIEW REVIEW REVIEW! and if you want to ask me something, and don't want other people reading them, then PM me I ALWAYS respond! and If I don't well… than sorry to say, but I'm dead… which won't happen for another 200 years so I'm GREAT! anyways this A/N has gone on longer than EVER so let's get to the story!... I might have had too much sugar, hehe…
After we got the message about Cupa, or at least we believe it to be Cupa, we started training, me in just typical combat, and everyone else in stealth as we had agreed to take everyone and have them carry weapons while I went hand to hand.
"How many days has it been?" I asked Dark Bolt, who had decided to train me… and was kicking my butt with a single finger each time.
"It's been 4 days, tomorrow at sunset is when we shall go… and you still need to improve, you haven't even gotten a scratch on me, and I've been going easy on you…" Dark Bolt said
"Well… then maybe I should try harder!" I yelled, anime style as I started throwing a barrage of punches and kicks. Dark Bolt easily deflected all of them.
"If this is you trying harder, then you have no hope in saving your friend!" Dark Bolt said as he started counter attacking with attacks that I could barely see. We continued brawling yelling at each other and whatnot as everyone else tried to train in stealth, silver having some trouble…
POV: Anonymous
I watched as everyone trained, they weren't very good at fighting to say the least, except Silver… he was the only one I would consider to be near my level, Kaye was terrible at fighting but had the willpower to never give up, Flame was… well, she was a good demolitionist… and then Chibi… that wolf is TERRIFYING! I would rather die than have to fight it. of course they were quite the opposites when it came to stealth, Silver was clumsy and couldn't stay still enough to stay silent, Flame burned too much in order to be 'invisible' Chibi was TOO good at stealth, and Kaye… well Kaye probably would be able to assassinate me if he had the guts...
"You guys ever going to improve? Or are you just going to keep stumbling around like a bunch of apes!?" I yelled down to them as I 'fell' through my shadow appearing besides silver.
"Of course we are! We already have!" Silver yelled back as he punched me right as I appeared… I REALLY don't like that kid.
POV: Dark Bolt
Kaye has exponentially increased in strength although, he still can't tap into that power for some reason… it appears that he has it stored away in a reserve, but with that much power he would not only be able to rival Notch, he would physically change his form. I wonder if I should ask him if he knows this… well, only one way to find out.
"Kaye, Are you consciously reserving power, or do you unknowingly store that power?" He looked confused as I asked him that.
"What power? you mean I'm stronger than this? So I have untapped energy or something?" He was somewhat excited.
"The power you've been storing up in a reserve, yes, sort of, and I won't let you use it all at once, as that much power would be capable of destroying your current body, turning you into a being of pure power… and you would only live for less than a minute."
Silver than decided to ask something.
"So… that's what that 'essence of Notch' was? and where is he storing that much power?"
"Wait… 'Essence of Notch'? REALLY?! That's the BEST name you could come up with! Hahahahahaha! That is HILARIOUS! Why not Beserk mode, or something?" Anonymous said
"I don't know… i just sort of named it that without thinking…" Kaye said
"Well… if that is it's name, then yes… that is what I mean, and he's storing it in a crystal stored inside of his chest." Dark Bolt said
"Well… why don't we Burn it out!" Flame said insanely
"Because fire isn't ALWAYS the solution…" Silver said
THE NEXT DAY 10 MINUTES BEFORE MIDNIGHT
POV: KAYE
"Well… let's hope we can do this." I said as I started walking towards the meeting spot, and everyone else began sneaking through the trees like 'ninjas'... if you could call them that.
"Well… looks like you DID come after all, I have to admit I thought you would've been to much of a coward to show your face here, after you RAN from me last time we met!" The same Witch that kidnapped Cupa all those months ago said as she appeared in a cloud of purple smoke that had skulls forming from it.
"So… you really are the same witch, you're uglier than I remember. not saying much since you were still Hideous back then though." I said as I used a technique Dark Bolt taught me, channeling the power I had been using as 'the essence of notch', but more controlled and only a small portion at a time instead of in a large surge, I channelled it into my voice putting magic into it.
"You will hand over Cupa. NOW!" I yelled as I moved my power from my voice to my fists and feet, increasing my speed and multiplying my strength ten fold.
"How… How do you have this much power!" The Witch asked as she teleported rapidly trying to lose me, as my increased speed made me basically teleport I released a barrage of punches and kicks at her as I finally stopped her from teleporting.
"Do you think he really needs us?" Silver asked surprised that his friend had finally awoken.
"No… I only brought us here to witness this childs strength, as he is the son of a great hero. I couldn't tell him, but once I heard his name I knew… Halken, the power of H. The original wielder of that name was stronger than Notch is, so he made it so that the power would sleep in his descendants and be stored in a crystal placed inside of their chests. but once awakened it would only be capable of using a portion of its strength. He did this not out of concern, but out of fear, as he was afraid of the power of H… your friend there has only just started to learn of the power he possess… and that I made." Anonymous replied to Silver.
"Yes… now I remember who you are Anonymous… you are me, from THAT reality, the one where you are the legendary hero, Anon Y. Mous (A-non Y Muss) you are the creator of the power of H, using your own ability, The creation of Y. only beaten by my Destruction of Z…" Dark Bolt said
"How… How, do you have this much power? You shouldn't have awakened yet… he told me you hadn't awakened yet." The Witch said as she fell to the ground.
"Dangit… Now how am I supposed to find Cupa?!" I asked no one in specific.
"Kaye! Is that you?!" Cupa yelled out from somewhere unseen
"Yes! It's me Cupa! Where are you?!" I yelled out.
"I'm in the large tree! You know, the one in the middle of the clearing!" Cupa said as if it was obvious… which I guess it should have been. Hehe.
"Hold on! I'll get you out as soon as I can!" I said as I signalled for the others to throw me a sword, which Silver knowing me threw me one of his 'special' swords that was imbued with a wind crystal (Check out his fanfics to know what I mean) I activated it and cut the tree down faster than a sword like that should have been able to, then tossed it back to him.
"Don't worry Cupa, I've got you… And you look. Different?" I said as Cupa now looked as if she was a charged creeper, and more mature I guess… Well, were back together that's all that matters now.
"Let's go home Cua, kay?" I said smiling with my hand out.
"Yeah, let's go!" She said grabbing my hand and pulling herself out of the tree.
I got the others to walk somewhat behind us, and let Flame burn down that area as much as she wanted… as long as she didn't harm the area near our mansion/house.
We walked home as the sun rose… 'cause apparently the nights are rather short here.
We arrived at the house and were greeted by a man that appeared to be about 40 something, and was somewhat handsome, if you ignored the cyborg arm, leg and eye he had…
"Hello my name is Jack Halken Chronicle, and you are my son, it's been awhile. And I have something I need to tell you." The man said before he charged his normal hand up with his own power.

khdudeable: DONE! Sadly it's a LOT shorter than I wanted, but I had to get Something for christmas, right? anyway, I have yet ANOTHER poll up, and it is VERY IMPORTANT so much so that I want EVERYONE reading this to vote on it! and this is also the last chapter of this story… if you re-read the title of this story though, you'll notice it's called 'the AWAKENING of khdudeable', and that means I might continue and write about 'the EVOLUTION of khdudeable' which would be the next 'book' you could say, like in avatar: the last airbender… again VOTE ON THE POLL!
