Summary/Disclaimer: See Chapter 1

Red laid back against the headboard, Lizzie draped over his left side in his embrace as he ghosted an imaginary trail up and down her arm. The room was dark except for the little bit of moonlight that had managed to creep in through the break in the curtains. Red had been quiet for a while and the silence and the dark were starting to get to her.

"What's on your mind?"

"I'm just thinking."

"About you, are you sure you want to leave, it's your choice."

"I want you Red, no matter what that means." She said as she sat up and kissed him.

"Alright, that will be the last time that I offer."

"I understand, so what now?"

"Dembe will be here soon, we have to get things in order before then."

"OK, tell me where to start."

"You start with a shower, I'm going to strip the bed and set up the downstairs. Once you are done, wear what you had on before, we'll buy you anything you will need. I'm afraid you can only bring two personal items that won't be missed. We have to make it look like someone took you."

"I understand, I'll only need my journal, don't want the FBI reading it."

"OK. Also at one point we will have to send something to them showing your capture."

"Of course." She removed herself from Red and stood exposing her bare skin to the cool air of the room. "I'll get started."

Red leaned forward supporting himself on his elbow as he watched her walk towards the bath, before she got there he called out to her. "Lizzie, you don't know what this means to me."

"Of course I do, I have you." She looked at him and smiled the memory of when he had said that to her now fresh in his mind.

He could hear the shower turn on as he leaned back and began to focus on the task at hand. He was leaving, Lizzie was joining him and he had expressed his feelings to her, it was a crazy night and the weeks and months ahead were only going to be just as crazy. Red reached down and grabbed his trousers from the floor, he pulled out the burner phone from the pocket and dialed the first speed dial.

"Raymond?"

"Dembe, be ready in half hour."

"Of course. And what of Agent Keen?"

"She will be joining us."

"I see, I will be ready my friend."

"Thank you Dembe."

Red placed the phone on the nightstand then stood to dress, as he reached down for his tie a smile ghosted his face and he would have to remember to punish Lizzie later for treating such a fine piece of clothing like a rag. Once he was dressed he began the process of removing the sheets from the bed and replacing them with new ones from the hall closet; as he finished he heard Lizzie get out of the shower and come back into the room.

"Enjoy your shower sweetheart?"

"Would have enjoyed it more with company."

"Ah yes, but then we would have been late. I'm going to leave you to get dressed I'll meet you in the living room." As he passed by he dropped a kiss on her forehead and stopped only to pick up the sheets from the floor. Elizabeth knew why he was taking them and oddly she was OK with it. It was standard procedure that when an agent died or went missing their residence was searched as to clues as to the reason why and the last thing the FBI needed to find was proof that Red had been in her bed. She quickly dressed and pulled her hair down from the knot she had placed it in prior to stepping in the shower, now she was ready to go. Lizzie stopped and grabbed her journal from her nightstand and then did one last look around before heading down the hall to join Red.

In the main room she noticed that Red taken the liberty of knocking a few things over and was in the process of wiping his finger prints from the wine glass he had grabbed from her earlier making sure not to touch any part with his hand as he placed it back on the table using the handkerchief from his pocket. It had looked like all traces of Raymond Reddington had been wiped from her home.

"What now?"

"Now, we kidnap you Lizzie."

"Huh?"

"My dear, you are too serious sometimes. I am going to make it look like you were kidnapped, leave a note take some pictures, Dembe should be here with a camera soon and then we leave."

"Just like that?"

"Just like that, I already dropped a vile of a sedative in your wine and your glass to make it look like you were drugged; the back lock is scrapped looking like someone broke in. To the FBI it will look like you were taken."

"And the pictures?"

"Formality, we are going to tie your hands place a rag around your mouth snap a photo and send it to Harold in the morning, letting him know that they need to bring me Reddington and in return they get you back. To everyone but you, me and Dembe it will look like someone was using you to get to me." Red watched her as she took everything in that he was saying, Lizzie simply nodded her head and didn't say anything. He promised that he wouldn't ask again if she had changed her mind and he silence left him unsettled, but he knew that she was able to take care of herself; if any of what he had just said was confusing to her then she would let him know.

"Well I'm ready, where will we go after?"

"The airport, my plane is waiting to take us to our destination."

"Are you going to tell me where?"

"Sometimes the best parts of life come to us as surprises."

"As long as I am with you I don't care where we go."

They stood just looking at each other until the door opened and Dembe stepped through. He quickly got to work with the last few things and then Red tied Lizzie's wrists for the photos.

"Just lie down and look asleep."

"OK."

Lizzie was still as a mouse as she laid down and let Red take the pictures that he was going to send to the FBI. She was so focused on making sure to hold still she didn't notice Red was done until he was untying her hands and removing the rag from her mouth.

"Are you ready to go?"

"Anywhere you choose."

Lizzie put a large jacket on over her own that Dembe had brought her and pulled up the hood to cover her hair and face. In case anyone was watching it would look like she was just another guy along with Red and Dembe as they walked down to the waiting car. As she walked away clutching her journal close to her, she wasn't filled with fear of what was to come, but excitement that this could be the start of something wonderful.
