What's up people? How are y'all? Alright this is the last chapter in the story and the Epilogue will finish it. I already got the story for the next Pokémon story after this one Legacy. I'll elaborate later. Any this Epilogue will be introducing the story So Far… which is what's going on so far in everyone's life from Ash and Misty becoming masters to Harley and Polaris becoming assistants to them and to Agron and Naevia's journey. Alright onto the final chapter.
"Thinking"
Chapter 9; New Beginnings
"Here are your test results." Oak says handing the four kids and Pikachu their results.
"Thanks Professor." They all say and he leaves them to see the results.
"Nice. I got 243." Brock says.
"I got 245." Joy says looking for the minimum score.
"I got a 240." Ash says looking for his educational weakness. "Vocabulary huh? I can fix that."
"I made 243 too." Misty says happily.
"Pi pik Pikachu." "I got a perfect score." Pikachu says.
"What? What'd you make?" Ash asks.
"Pik." "300." Pikachu answers showing them the paper.
"Wow, Ash. Pikachu is smart." Joy says scratching Pikachu's head.
"I know. I use to read him my school books and stuff when I was teaching him to write and when he was teaching me to understand Pokémon." Ash says.
"When do we start the journey to our futures?" Misty asks.
"Well according to this as soon as we receive our graduation things. Then we receive our Trainers License." Brock says.
"Well guys. Let's go get the stuff. The sooner we leave the sooner we can make our dreams come true." Joy says.
"Here you guys go." Oak says giving everyone their GED's and every other thing they needed.
"Thanks Professor." Everyone says.
"Oh and something's to help you out along the way. Ash, Misty these are the events for your trainer journeys. Brock, Joy here are the event for your breeding/Poké nursing events. Oh and here are some Pokéball's for each of you and here's some money for supplies. You can make money off people you battle by winning and receiving reward money." Oak says giving them everything. "Well if you guys want to hurry for the breeding event in a week I better let you guys start your journeys."
"Thanks again Professor." They say heading out with him asking questions until they get to the door.
"Any more questions?" Oak asks once they get to the door.
"Nope. Thanks for the help." Ash says.
"No problem. Please keep in contact while you're away." Oak says.
"We will." Joy says. "We'll call, email, write, telegram whatever we can use to contact you when we get to a new town."
"That's sounds good. I'll see you kids when you get back. Oh and remember all of Pallet will be cheering you on." Oak says and then they do final good byes and the four teens and Pikachu head to Ash's moms.
"Hey Ash. What are we going to do?" Brock asks suddenly.
"What do you mean?" Ash asks.
"I mean are we going to stick together or are we going to split up?" He says.
"Oh, nah man. We're sticking together. We're going down or up together. I looked over your events and they're either on or near the day my event is. So… we can do this journey together." Ash explains.
"That is so great." Joy says. "There is nothing better than spending time with my best friends… and boyfriend."
"I know. It's so awesome." Misty adds as they approach the Ketchum house.
"Awe. I'm so proud of all of you." Delia says hugging them all.
"Thanks mom." They all say and that makes her happier.
"Oh, before I forget, Professor Oak telephoned me about your arrival and I got everything you need." She says before starting her list.
"Brock for you I got a large sleeping bag, some pots and pans, matches and lighters, an electric blanket if it gets cold, some extra clothes including some extra underwear and don't forget to keep them clean, and some toothpaste, toothbrush and mouthwash. Joy I got you a large sleeping bag too, some hairspray, a portable plug in, a hair curler, extra clothes including a fresh pair of bra and panties and all of your favorite lotions. Ash, Misty I pretty much got y'all the same things." Delia says the four teens turn tomato red.
"I didn't forget you Pikachu. You stuff is in this bag." She says pulling a duffle bag out from in front of the couch.
"Mom, is it O.K if we spend the night here tonight and set out tomorrow?" Ash asks.
"Certainly. I would love for y'all to stay the night." Delia says happily.
"Thanks mom. I and Brock are going to take the stuff up stairs." Ash says.
"Ok dear. Will you two girls mind helping me until the boys get done?" She asks.
"Sure." The two say as Ash and Brock take their bags.
"So, you two are really going this journey?" Delia asks as the go about the kitchen getting pans and other things the need.
"Yes, my goal is to become Water Pokémon Master and then watch Ash become Pokémon Master." Misty says.
"Awe. I'm so proud. What about you Joy?" She asks putting some barbecue sauce on the chicken Misty had cleaned and set on the pan.
"Oh, I'm going to be the greatest Pokémon Nurse and then watch Brock become the greatest Pokémon Breeder." Joy answers passing her the pepper after mashing some potatoes.
"How long do you think it will take for all of you to complete your journeys?" She asks putting the chicken in the oven.
"Well according to the paper Professor Oak gave us if we can win everything on time then in a year." Joy says looking over the paper.
"So, I'll see you in a year perhaps?"
"Yeah. If we can all make it to the Championships, Nursing, and Breeder enders." Misty says.
"I know you will all make." Delia says as the two guys walk in.
"Oh, you're cooking. Can I help?" Brock asks.
"Sorry Brock. The girls are helping me." Delia says.
"Ah." He says before whispering into Ash's ear.
"What no." Ash whispers.
"Come on man. You know if I learn something new I can make it on our journey." Brock whispers back and Ash has to think about it now.
"Fine. Just because you're my friend." He whispers finally. "What do I say?"
"I don't know. Whatever you think first…. Oh doesn't Professor Oak have a pre-evolved Marill?" He whispers.
"Yeah I think."
"So take her there and let her play with it or something."
"Fine." Ash whispers finally. "Hey Misty do you want to go to Professor Oak's with me?"
"What for?" Misty asks.
"Professor Oak has an Azurill." He says. "I was going to go play with it and I know you like those."
"Of course I want to go. Mom, may I go?" Misty asks feeling warmer each time she calls her mom.
"I guess since you're just going to Oaks." Delia says.
"Thanks." Misty says handing Brock her stuff.
At Oaks.
"Awe. It's so cute Ash look at it." Misty says holding the baby Pokémon.
"Yeah it is." Ash says petting the Pokémon.
"So, how've you been Ash?" Gary asks.
"Well. Yourself?"
"Same. Oh, I'm starting a new Company."
"Really? What's it going to be called?" Ash asks.
"Yeah. It's Oak Tech/Industries because we're going to create technology and hopefully it will become an Industry." He answers.
"That's cool." Ash says.
"Yeah, hey if you ever need a job I'll keep the vice president part open."
"Thanks man."
"No problem. If you didn't help me with my exam I wouldn't have qualified. I owe you one."
"Ash this Azurill is just so cute and playful. May I keep him? Please?" Misty asks rubbing its belly.
"Um… "Please Ash. I'll make it up." Alright, let me ask Gary." Ash says after Misty uses her what he has come to call her "Sweet Smile" attack.
"How much is Azurill?"
"On the house."
"For real?"
"Yeah. She can use her on the journey."
"Awe. Thanks Gary. I'm a call you Rill." Misty says happily and Gary hands Ash its Pokéball.
"Thank man." Ash says as they shake hands and after talking a bit more Ash and Misty head back home.
Home.
"We're back!" Ash yells and Brock yells back when the food will be ready.
"Thank you so much Ash." Misty says as they sit on the couch for the like 90th time. Literary.
"You're welcome… again." He says.
"I can't believe it. I've wanted an Azurill since I was a kid." She says gently hugging the baby Pokémon before putting her down on the floor and giving her, her puff ball.
"Thanks agai… mphf." She muffs as he pulls her to him in a kiss, so she can't thank him anymore.
"Zu?" "Mommy?" Azurill asks confused at what was happening and thinking she was under attack Azurill uses water gun, it was weak but the cold sudden water causes them to jump and stop.
"Mommy's sorry. We were just battling." Misty says before whispering into his ear. "Not in front of Azurill. She is a baby and is too young."
"Alright." Ash says and Misty takes Azurill to the room so it can take a nap like Pikachu was doing.
"Want to finish?" She asks returning and he pulls her over the couch.
"Nah." He says but his thought changes when she taps their lips together.
"What was that?" She asks and he mumbles it was nothing. "Thought so."
She presses her lips back against his and he leans back on the couch deepening their kiss. Ash feels a familiar feeling growing in his crotch and smoothly plays it off by sitting up and arranging her to where she is sitting at his thighs.
"Foods ready guys." Joy yells to them and they pull apart and head to the kitchen.
Ten minutes later.
"Wow that was delicious." Joy says.
"Yeah, best cooked meal I've had in a while." She says but quickly changes when Brock frowns at her. "That you haven't made."
That made him happier as he continues with the dishes.
"Thank you Misty. I'm glad you all liked it." Delia says closing the fridge. "It's 9:30 don't you think you all should go to bed since it going to take a couple hours before you actually fall asleep?"
"Yeah I guess." Ash says and they all tell her good night and head for the room.
"Oh Ash, Brock I forgot I got you two something special." Delia says before they can disappear up the stairs.
"What is it?" They ask in unison and she gestures for them to come here and Misty and Joy watch from the staircase.
"I got you both a box of large condoms in case you and your girl decide you're in the mood anywhere along the line." She says in her cheerful voice and hands them their box like it was a toy or something and all they can do is blush heavily at her and after thanking her they walk back to the girls redder than a stop sign.
"What happened?" The girls asks but they shake their head as to say nothing.
In the room they talk about what they're going to do on the journey and they then come up with an agreement on how they can all stay together.
Next Morning
They say their good byes to Delia and set off on their Journey beginning with Viridian where Ash and Misty would try for their first badge and Nurse Joy will take a Nursing class while Brock goes around finding out how people take care of their Pokémon.
First they head to Professor Oak's where Ash takes out Bulbasuar, Charizard, Corphish. Misty takes her Azurill, Starmie, and Ash's Totodile, Treeko, Torkoal.
Brock gets his Onix, Geodude, Lotad, Agron, and Diglet and Joy chose Ash's Heracross, Swellow, Kingler, a Chansey, and Abra. After thanking Gary for the Pokémon they head Viridian and since it was only 5 miles away; they got there in 6 hours. Because Ash and co. kept getting challenges from bug and grass type trainers which Misty didn't find to appealing until someone said something about her sisters being better and she beat him and took 200 dollars.
"We're going to go register for our stuff." Brock says and after making a rendezvous point Brock and Joy head off to register.
"The breeder contest is in a week, so we can chill until then." Ash suggests. "You wanna try for the Earth badge first baby?"
"Sure. I bet I make it faster than you." She says challengingly.
"I bet I have a better quality match than you." He challenges back.
"Alright. Whoever loses their end of the challenge has to do whatever the winner says anything, anytime, anywhere for a week." She says sticking her hand out.
"I'm cool with that." He says ignoring her hand and pulling her into a deep kiss and she slides her tongue past his slightly open lips and his tongue play with hers.
"I might use that when I win." Misty says pulling away needing some air.
"You're not going to get any more of that when I win." He says kissing her cheek.
"We'll see." She says taking his hand and leading him to a Pokémon Center where they get two rooms.
Two days later
"Misty Ketchum of Pallet Town wins in 16:47 minutes." The referee says raising the flag. Her friends cheer for her and each gives her a hug. Then something hits Ash.
"Wait… Ketchum?" He says to himself.
"Oh, I'm sorry Ash. I figured since we were dating that I would just um… you know take on your last name until we're married." She says scratching the back of her neck.
"Oh, you know I think it has a ring to hit. Misty Ket…ch…um. Misty Ketchum. Yeah, it has a roll to it. You make it sound so much nicer." He says.
"Awe, that's sweet." Joy says popping into the middle of the two.
"Yeah Ash. You've gotten a lot more romantic since you've met Misty." Brock says.
"No I haven't. I've always been romantic." He says defensively.
"No you haven't. You use to say romantics were for losers." Joy says.
"Well, I didn't have my Mist then to cloud my vision to the wrong." He says giving up.
"Awe. That's sweet to." Misty says as they walk out after she gets her badge.
"Hey, Ash do you have the condoms your mom gave you?" Brock asks slowing to the back.
"Yeah I have them. I'm not slow. I know somewhere down the line I'm going to need them." Ash answers in a low voice.
"Can I get some?" Brock asks. "I sort of left mine in your room."
"Sure. You owe me one in the future though." Ash answers.
"I'll give you however many I take back when you need them." Brock says.
"Well, since I don't think I need them yet, I'll give you half. Let's see there 36 in the pack, 36 divided by two is um… 18 each." He says after some thinking.
"Thanks man." Brock says.
"They're in the third drawer of our room under my underwear because I know Misty won't look in there." Ash says.
"Genius." Brock says and they fist bump.
7 hours later
"You ready for tomorrow?" Misty asks rolling onto her side.
"Heck yeah. It's just gym battle." Ash says tucking the hair on the left side of her hair behind her ear.
"Just a gym battle?" She asks playfully.
"Yeah. Nothing to sweat over." He says playfully back.
"We'll see tomorrow." She says scooting close to him and he shivers as she slowly breathes and her soft breath rolls across the side of his neck. "You know. I never really had a hicky. You want to give me one? It will also let the other guys know whose property I am."
"You going to mark me as well?" He asks his throat becoming dry.
"Possibly." She says as he begins to kiss her neck.
Next day
"COME ON ASH!" Misty yells as Ash and Giovanni (Not the Team Rocket Leader this time.) continue their one on one with Pikachu versus Blastoise.
Finally an exhausted pulls out his final stunt and gets Blastoise to faint and as soon as the Referee calls the match Pikachu faints as well from exhaustion.
"Congratulations Ash. Here is your Earth Badge." Giovanni says handing him the badge. "I must say. You and your wife put up really good fights."
"Um thank you sir… Oh, she's not my wife. She my girlfriend at the moment." Ash says taking the badge and shaking his hand.
"I see." Giovanni says.
They talk a little longer and then Ash tells him that they got to get going and as a gym leader he understands and they say their good byes.
The rest is basically their Pokémon Journeys through Kanto and after a year and a half they arrive at Indigo Plateau Ash and Misty with eight badges, Joy an Advanced Pokémon/Human Medical Degree Nursing/EMC and Brock is the number 3 best Breeder in the world following below Professor Oak in first and Professor Birch in second.
11:23 P.M 4/27/15 Alright the chapter was finished at that time. Wow. One more chapter and this story is completely done. Well it is… but you know the epilogue kind of adds to the story, but I think you guys will like. Also there will be very small changes to pick up the story. 1. Is Suzy is being switched for Joy. 2. Harley and Polaris (Mewtwo) are the top Pokémon coordinators for the Kanto region and have a mini job as Ash and Misty's assistants. And 3. Gary is trying to start his business. That's the main changes for it. I think you guys will enjoy it. Also picks up on Agron and Naevia's Journeys.
So, now that you know what the basics is if you have a certain want for a chapter in the new story So Far… now is your chance. Just review with what you would like and it may appear in the story. Be specific if possible though. Having an Agron, Naevia moment won't work. Be kind of specific with something like an Agron and Naevia love moment under the star filled night. Something like that. That was just an example by the way. Let me see… oh and there will be one more story in the series.
Legacy will be the lives of the characters after their peaks. Mostly Ash and how being Pokémon Master isn't how he imagined and its effect on him and his career is going to spiral and cause a nasty rift between him and Misty. Also the rift is going to have effects on one or two other characters. That's the main story plan for that.
Well… that's all I can think of at the moment. 11:40 P.M the entire chapter is completed. Well I got school and tests in the morning so Good morning /Good night for whatever time you read this. Saved at 11:41 P.M.
