The travelers went up to Ciarius's room and were greeted by their comrade.
"Where were you all this time?" Dogi asked.
"Don't ask." Geis said somewhat sarcastically. Turning towards Adol he said "I saved everything for you hero."
"TANKS." Adol said sarcastically, his voice barely a whisper. Adol then, told Ciarius about their meeting with the dragon and what happened during their time in the Sanctum.
"The Wind of Destruction, the fate of Altago...I see. So it is as the legends say...a great calamity is upon us...Oh well." Ciarius said, shrugging and then taking a seat.
"Well that was fast." Sigroon said, almost shocked that he didn't respond at all. Mishera, Elk and Sigroon gave each other mixed looks of confusion as Ciarius just drank his tea. Cruxie looked like she could care less. Looking up with a baffled expression, he looked as if he expected them to leave earlier.
"What are you guys still doing here? Head to the next dragon already. Go on, shoo!" Ciarius said, looking at them with a raised eyebrow.
"Well okay then! No questions asked!" Dogi said, seemingly unfazed by Ciarius's response. For that matter, so where Adol and Geis.
"Aren't you gonna...talk?...or something?" Elk asked, not only him but everyone baffled by his response. Not Adol though, and very arrogantly so.
"Well I could give you all this crap about not getting anywhere basically but I'll save you the time. I got nothin' and your best lead is the next dragon." Ciarius said, sipping calmly his tea. The travelers walked out of the room more baffled then when they came in. Which isn't saying much really, because they didn't have anything in their minds the time they did come in.
"Well that saved us a cutscene." Dogi said, shrugging.
"No. He just has too much faith in me." Adol said, smiling.
"Way to be arrogant to the max. I'd say that's not like you but it is, sadly." Geis said, frowning.
"You're just jealous because you've seen what I can do. I can do anything. You've seen the proof." Adol said, wiggling his eyebrows at Geis.
"I never said anything of the sort. See, arrogant." Geis scoffed and Adol frowned. Geis wiggled his eyebrows at Adol and got a finger raised at him. Just then, the three fairies flew towards them with worried expressions.
"Geis! The the thingy!" Jue said but was unable to explain.
"What?" Geis asked, raising an eyebrow at Jue. Jue was then hit on the back of the head by Sera.
"Idiot, let me explain. Altago City was engulfed by a fog of energy just now. Everything's GOING TO SHIT." Sera said, calmly and almost unfazed.
"We only saw it from far away but it looks that way. There were monsters headed towards it too. So...what are you waiting for?" Xisa said, just like her sister, almost unfazed. Although towards the end, she was baffled when none of them moved.
"Waiting for what?" Dogi asked.
"GO!" The three fairies shouted simultaneously. Thus, the travelers went to Altago City immediately.
"Wow. Everything IS shit." Dogi said, the moment they saw the city. Adol immediately snickered at the back of his mind. This is what they get for such crappy foreigner service. Mishera smiled at him.
"Well it seems that the miasma is more than just mere fog. We are protected by the Dragons but anyone who is exposed to this...will experience adverse effects." Mishera said, looking at no one. Adol resisted the urge to laugh out loud, instead making a really strange and high pitched noise.
"This...Th-this is all I can take. I'll see you again." Sigroon said, running away. All she could think about at the moment was Aisha and as she ran she kept saying to herself "Please be okay. Please be okay..."
"Kay bye. Anyone else want to run away?" Dogi asked.
"No you idiot. She was probably thinking about that princess girl or what the hell ever." Geis said, hitting Dogi at the back of the head.
"Yeah but PROBABLY. Ya never know. If I were in this situation, I'd wanna get as far away from this city as possible too..." Dogi said, wiggling his eyebrows at an unamused Geis.
"Whatever, I don't think I can take any more of you either. See ya." Geis said, walking off to some direction.
"Kay bye." Dogi said.
"Hey, you guys be careful alright? See ya around!" Elk said, running off with Mishera before stopping and looking around. He then said "Where's Cruxie?"
"I think she can take care of herself." Mishera said, looking towards her direction.
"WAHAHAHAHAHAA!" Cruxie laughed maniacally tearing off the jaws of her prey. Mishera turned her head back towards Elk and they ran off.
"Yeah, so...where do you suppose we go?" Dogi asked.
"Tia's place I guess?" Adol said. The both of them shrugged and started walking towards Old Town. Not caring at all about the damage around them.
~~ Old Town ~~
"Hey what the hell are they doing to Maya!? I mean-that sounded wrong...I uh...GAAAHH!" Dogi said, rushing towards the monsters. Due to a large amount of overleveling, Dogi and Adol killed the monsters in one hit.
"This isn't good Adol. We need to get her indoors! PRONTO CHARLIE ECHO DELTA! RAAAHH!" Dogi yelled and ran off to...disappear somewhere in the fog. Adol rolled his eyes and carried Maya towards the sanctuary. Midway, he was greeted and helped by Daleyon. Then, in the sanctuary, he was greeted by Dogi.
"Why, exactly, didn't you help me?" Adol asked Dogi.
"I dunno. My mind went blank and I kinda forgot." Dogi said, smiling sheepishly. Adol rolled his eyes. Dogi, turning to Daleyon, asked "Where's Tia?"
"Not in Old Town, that much I can say." Daleyon said, comforting Maya.
"Alright. Wanna search for her?" Dogi said and Adol nodded. Then they both headed off to...somewhere.
~~ Somewhere ~~
The two were walking aimlessly until they heard the clashing of steel with...monster. They immediately ran towards the sound and found Geis fighting off three monsters, many other dead ones laying around.
"I hate my life." Geis sighed, very much so annoyed. Adol and Dogi stepped back and watched as Geis began to get even more irritated at the increasing amount of monsters headed his way. He jumped over, flipping once and throwing three talismans at each monsters back. The talismans exploded and attracted even more monsters.
"Hey, we kinda don't have time to waste here you know?" Geis said, sighing and resting his poleaxe on his shoulder. Adol and Dogi were surprised when Geis suddenly pointed the finger at their direction without looking.
"Come out, come out wherever you are...jackasses." Geis said, the monster rushing at him. He instantly rolled away and stabbed the monster with his halberd, slashing straight through it and cutting the other monster's face.
"We can come out but we don't need to help." Dogi laughed.
"Fuck you." Geis said, almost happy that they were there. The two then joined Geis in the fight. The monsters were easily beaten and retreated.
"Where'd all of them come from?" Dogi asked. Geis glanced towards a certain ship that was destroyed. Yes, it was their ship. Dogi's expression suddenly turned dead serious.
"I blame you for this." He said, turning towards Adol.
