Hotel next Morning
I woke up pretty refreshed even though all I did was dream about Roman and Dean all night. I rolled out of bed, showered, brushed my teeth, got dressed and headed down to the hotel restaurant. I walked in and looked around for Wade. I spotted him over by the window and headed that way. He stood as I walked up. He came around, kissed my cheek, and pulled my chair out.
"Oh! Well thank you Wade. You're such a gentleman." I purred as I sat down.
"Well, what can I say I'm British and I was raised right." He replied with a smile as he pushed the chair in for me. He went around and sat back down. The waitress came over and we ordered.
"So tell me Angel how did you get into the security business?" Wade asked actually interested in the answer.
"Well, I've been in acting most of my life so I've had security guards of my own. I never really needed them since I could take care of myself, but my parents insisted. I always found the idea intriguing, so once I got the right partner I opened the business and here I am."
"What do you mean you can take care of yourself?" he asked with a brow raised.
"I've been training in the martial arts since I was able to walk and my dad started me on learning to shoot when I was five. So I could defend myself pretty well, even before the Navy."
"Wow! That's hot! A gorgeous woman who could probably kick my ass! Again! Hot!" he said with a smile. Just then the waitress brought our food. We sat talking and eating. He didn't think I noticed but I saw Roman sitting across the room watching me with Wade with a look on his face I couldn't describe. It was like he was pissed, jealous, and sad all at the same time. The next time I looked he was gone.
"I've had a lot of fun Wade, but I really have to get back to my room. I have a plane to catch back to New York." I said as I stood and placed my napkin on the table.
"Oh! Ok! Let me walk you to your room." He said as he stood as well. He dropped some money on the table to pay for breakfast and he put his arm out for me take. I slid my arm through his and we headed to the elevator. We got off and walked the few feet to my door. Dean, Roman, and I hadn't started travelling together yet, so I didn't know that their room was right across from mine until I heard Dean hiss through their door "She's with Wade! That British twat." Wade thankfully didn't hear it as his hearing obviously wasn't as good as mine.
"May I kiss you goodbye?" He asked his voice a little ragged.
"Yes, of course Wade." I answered. He leaned his head down slightly and pressed his lips to mine. He pulled back with a smile. Suddenly the door across the hall opened and an empty beer can came flying across the hall and hit Wade in the head.
"What the hell!" he asked while looking around to see where the can came from. I put my hand on his cheek and pulled him in for another longer more tongue filled kiss. And I swear I heard growling coming from Dean and Roman's room. Wade and I broke the kiss both of us panting.
"Well, aside from the can hitting me in the head this has been one hell of a good morning!" Wade said with a smile.
"Yes, it has! I will see you Friday at the arena. We can eat together if you want." I said with a small grin.
"Of course Love!" he said and kissed my cheek. I watched as he walked down the hallway to the elevator. Once he got on I turned and looked directly at Dean and Romans door which opened suddenly. Dean poked his head out and said "Wade? Really? You can't do better than that?" I cleared the space between us and slapped him hard on his left cheek. He grabbed his reddening cheek and came out the door farther.
"What. The. Fuck. Who do you think you are slapping me?" he almost shouted.
"You have no say in who I see Dean. And that was really mature hitting Wade in the head with a can."
"You just can't wait to get it on with someone can you?" he spat. I reached out, grabbed a handful of his hair, and shoved him up against the wall.
"I. Am. Sick. Of. Your. Shit. Ambrose! You don't respect me, but yet you want a say in who I see? Well, that's not going to happen! Keep pushing Ambrose and you'll see the monster that lurks behind these violet eyes" I gritted between clenched teeth. I shoved him away from me, walked over to my door, and went in .I paused just inside my door and I swore I heard Roman say that shit was hot. I packed and headed to the airport.
New York, My apartment
I was finishing up cleaning my apartment and doing laundry when my phone rang. I picked it up and saw that it was Roman.
"Roman? What's the matter?" I gushed.
"Kira there was a package waiting on my doorstep when I got home." He said his voice a little shaky.
"Oh crap! Did you touch it?"
"No, I put gloves on before I picked it up and put it on my coffee table."
"Ok, that was smart Roman. Do you know what precinct you are in?" I asked as I walked over to my desk in my living room.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the 29th. Why?" he asked. I pulled a little black book out of my desk, opened it and turned to the page I needed.
"Here's what I want you to do Roman. I want to call that precinct and ask for Detective Decklin Carmichael. He's a friend of mine. Tell him you're a client of mine, you have a stalker, and you just received a package. He will know what to do and who to bring."
"Okay I will Kira." He mumbled.
"Roman do you want full time security with you?"
"No, not right away. Let's see what happens."
"Ok, don't forget the alarm people are going to be there at 5 pm. And please tell Decklin I need copies of everything in case I have to take this to the FBI."
"Wait! What? The fucking FBI?" he squeaked.
"Yes, Roman the FBI. Don't get upset about it. It hasn't happened yet. Just stay calm ok?"
"Kira, please send some guards over to my ex's house to keep an eye for my daughter?"
"Of course Roman. I already have Jessie's address. I will send them over, but you have to be the one to tell her. It will sound better coming from you."
"Ok. And thanks Kira."
"No problem Roman." I said and hit end. Just as I hung up the phone rang again.
"Dean, did you get one too?" I asked without even saying hello.
"Yes, how did you know?"
"I just got off the phone with Roman." I said as I walked back over to my little black book. "Dean do you know what police precinct you are in?"
"Yeah the 12th." He replied. I ran my finger down the page and stopped at a name.
"Here's what I want you to do. Call the 12th precinct and ask for Detective Michael Phillips. Tell him you are a client of mine, you have a stalker, and you just received a package. He'll know what to do. Oh, crap! You didn't touch it with your bare hands did you?"
"Okay will do and no. I put a plastic bag around my hand before I picked it up."
"Good. Do you want full time security with you Dean?"
"Yes, I do."
"All right I will send someone over there for the next couple of days and then assign my second best girl to you next week."
"No, I want you." He said.
"I don't think that's wise Dean." I said as I ran my fingers through my hair.
"Why the hell not? You said you're the best." He growled.
"I am the best Dean, but you hate me and we would be in close proximity 24 hours a day. It wouldn't turn out well. Athena will meet you at the Vegas airport next week. And don't forget the security team will be there to install your system today at 5 pm. Oh, and don't forget to tell Michael to send me copies of everything." I said and ended the call before he had a chance to reply. I started to pace. Things were picking up and I don't know if the boys could handle it.
