Third Person's P.O.V:
Back at Heatherfield...
"Girls! Hey girls!"
Aliyah, Ashley and Morgan turned around to see Kiara running towards them.
"What's up?" Morgan asked. "Other than the sky." she added sarcastically.
"H-h-have y-you seen R-rin? I tried and called her cell and she didn't pick up. She always picks up if its us."
"No, we haven't seen her all day. I though she'd be earlier than most people here 'cause of her lack of tastes towards fashion." Ashley said. It's true; Rin isn't really at all interested in fashion and getting prettied up. So why was she late?
"Plus, I found her the pendant in the middle of the side-walk." Morgan lifted up the pink pendant.
The others gasped.
"We gotta find her!" Kiara cried out.
Suddenly, the Heart started to glow and... float in the air and pull towards a direction. (I'm so sorry! I honestly don't know what it's called. My brain is damaged ((not literally)) now so I'm not thinking straight! ^^')
"Let's go!"
Meanwhile, back at Meridian in Phobos' castle...
"Hahahahahahahaha! Oh, and one time she fell off stage!"
Phobos chuckled. "You have a pretty interesting family."
Rin smirked. "They're also boring sometimes. How 'bout your family?"
Phobos paused. Rin got up of off the "platform" step that led to the throne.
"Are you okay? Was that question too personal? You don't have to answer!" A worried look came over her face.
Phobos got outta' his trance, stared at Rin and smirked a bit. He got up and pulled the black-haired girl closer to him, a hand cupped under her chin, lifting it up.
"I'm fine."
They stared at each other for a long time until Cedric came in, in human form this time.
"Oh, sorry master. I need to speak in private with you though."
Phobos excused himself and he and Cedric walked out of the throne room.
"What Cedric?" the prince asked harshly.
"I beg your pardon sire, but I think Rin should leave. Her friends have the Heart and are looking for her. If they don't know about this place, the better to attack."
"Hmm, good idea."
Phobos was about to go back into the throne room until...
"Are you really going to fight Rin? I mean, not to be nosy, but you two have gotten very close over the few couple of minutes."
Phobos paused. "No," he finally answered. "I'll just get her to come to my side." He chuckled darkly.
Entering the room, he found little miss Rin listening to music on her iPod ('cause Phobos broke her phone) that came with her.
"Somebody help me through this nightmare. I can't control myself. So what if you could see, the darkest part of me. No one will ever change this animal I have become. Help me believe this is not the real me. Somebody help me change this animal!" Rin sang quietly, as the actual music rang loud and clear through the room.
She was sitting back on the steps, tapping her foot. Once she saw Phobos, she got up and shut her iPod off.
"So, I know how to get you back home." Phobos declared.
"Oh, thank goodness! I though I'd never- wait, the school pictures! Holy guacamole! I'm gonna miss my pic! And the other girls, and class! Shoot, shoot, shoot! What am I-"
"Woah, woah! Calm down, there. Cedric shall escort you home." Phobos approached the now standing-again- teen. He wrapped his arms around her possessively and nuzzled her hair. "Goodbye Hime."
Hime? Princess?! He knows Japanese?! Rin thought.
FLASH!
"Rin, Rin! Wake up!"
Rin's eyes fluttered open to see her friends standing there all worried.
"W-where am I?"
"The nurse's office. We can still take our school pictures." Morgan said.
"You need your rest though." Aliyah said. "Where were you?"
"Unhg!" Rin groaned, trying to get up. "I-I'm not sure! I was on my way to school."
"Well, enough said!" Kiara exclaimed. "At least you're safe!"
The others nodded in agreement.
Rin had a soft smile on her lightly peach-coloured tainted lips. "Thanks peeps. It's great to be home!"
Back at Meridian...
Phobos' P.O.V:
I saw her leave.
Rin, was it? I thought. I'll make her mine for sure.
I walked to the dungeons where my little sister, Elyon, was. I saw her lying on the straw bed in one of the cells.
"Hello, dear, dear Elyon."
She instantly got up and scowled. "What do you want?"
"Oh? Is that a way to treat your brother?"
"Is this the way you treat your sister and queen?" she snarled, holding up her hands that were bounded in chains.
"Hm." I shrugged. "You know, there are new Guardians."
"New-Guardians?" she asked. "How do you know?"
"Well, as humans would put it, a little birdie told me."
"I smell a rat!"
"Oh? Well, I smell more like a snake and the destruction of the new and old Guardians." I chuckled, leaving her.
"PHOBOS!" she yelled, tugging on the chains.
I retreated to my throne room, just dying to see the new attack coming along.
