"Where are we going?" Tony asked as the car was packed to the brim.

Most of the guys were ignoring him, except Bucky who simply shrugged, not knowing himself.

"Mama," he tugged at the man's coat, "Where are we going?"

"On a trip, you and Bucky get in the car and we're going to be off," he told the boy.

"Why do we have to leave so early? The sun isn't even peeking yet," Bucky sat in the car and looked at the clock. It read 5:02 am.

"To beat traffic and so children can sleep quite a bit of the ride," Rhodey handed Bucky his raccoon, which he happily snuggled, and he put his pacifier in his mouth.

"I'm not so tired," the genius shook his head as mama put his paci in his mouth and the blankie on his head.

"Are you ever? Try and sleep," he closed the door and went up to the front seat.

The genius yawned though his nose and sucked at his paci, slowly nodding off.

Steve peeked back at them, "So, I'm driving first shift and then you so you'd better get some sleep," he told his coparent.

"You got it," he leaned back and turned the heat up some before fallling asleep with their babies.

About four hours into the drive Steve needed a rest stop and was getting rather stiff as well, "Hey Rhodes? Rhodes you up?" he called.

"Mm?" he sighed some, "What's up? Bathroom break?"

"Yeah, and to stretch legs," he nodded.

"Well pull to a decent rest stop and we'll move about, and change the kids."

Steve drove to the first decent looking fast food joint and pulled into the park, "Alright, everyone time to step out and go potty."

Bucky stretched and whined slightly, "Are we here?"

"We still got about 30 hours to go," Rhodes opened Tony's door and took his paci and blanket, causing him to whine, "Step out, sleeping beauty you can go back soon, we're taking a rest stop."

Rhodes had to stand at the door as he changed Tony.

"I'm not overly fond of changing you standing," he awkwardly wiped at his private zone, "But I can't say I feel it's a good idea to put you on that counter. Are you changing yourself, Bucky?"

"I'm not wet this time, mama," he called from the urinal, a little proud.

"Good," he poured the powder into the diaper, "Guess I'll get the breakfast out of the trunk and meet you both in the car," he took Tony's hand.

"So where are we going? I'm pretty sure it'd be snowing in Canada too," Bucky looked to his daddy.

Steve smirked and washed his hands, "Oh you heard me and Mom talking about that, did you? Sorry to disappoint you but we won't be going there, we're heading somewhere warmer. And I think you and baby will like this place a little more."

"What?" he had peeked the man's curiosity and he quickly washed his hands and followed, "Then where are we going?"

"A surprise," Steve lead him out to the car to eat.

"But where!? I want to know!" he whined.

"You'll find out. Oh! Look at whats for breakfast. Fruit salads, cookies, yogurt and juice," Steve grabbed himself a fruit salad and water before going to sit up front.

"Don't play with your food Tony," daddy scolded.

"Where is the meat?" the genius pouted, forking through the bowl as he ate bits and pieces, "And are these fiber cookies? I had a bad day last time I had those."

"No they aren't Tony and I have some pieces of ham in there if you want," Mama told his baby.

After an enjoyable meal Rhodes took the wheel and started moving through the roads, now more people were on them, but it was still pretty light traffic.

"Punch buggy blue," Bucky smiled and punched Tony in the side.

"Hey!" he flinched, dropping his paci.

"Punch buggy," he smiled, "Isn't that what people do in this time?"

Tony rolled his eyes and looked out the window, he saw a green car, "Punch buggy," he punched him in the should twice, "Green counts as two because it's the color of the car."

So far the ride was going pretty great. Five hours in and no fighting or anything terrible yes.

"Where are we going?" Tony looked out the window. Him and Bucky were bored from being in the car so long, and rather stiff, "Can we stop and have a break?"

"Can you shut up and accept the gift you are soon to recieve in quiet splendor?" Rhodes grumbled.

"I would if I knew what it was," he shrugged, "I don't like surprises very much."

Bucky was working Steve's nerves as well.

"Canada?" he asked.

Steve sighed, "No, for the fourth time."

"Alaska?"

"No."

"Australia?"

"Why would we? No, you can't drive to Australia," he grabbed the bridge of his nose.

"Well where?!" he complained.

Steve whipped his head to the driver, "I told you a car drive was a bad idea!"

"Oh shut up."
