Jasmine's point of view:
S-she likes me? I smile at the thought, but then I look over and I see Sammy' s mortified expression. I don't think she wanted me to know that she likes me.
"Why are you smiling?" Amy demands, putting her hands on her hips and turning her back completely to Sammy to face me.
"Because I like her, too," I smile, looking back over at Sammy as she returns the smile.
"Gross!" Amy exclaims and Sammy gets up, though she struggles to do so and Amy looks angrily at her, though Amy doesn't turn her body away from me.
"I won't let you hurt her. You have been annoying me ever since I moved here, but now you've gone to far hurting Sammy like that!" Amy huffs and turns towards me agian.
"Samey! Her name is Samey! She's just a lesser me!" Amy yells.
"Are you sure you aren't just a lesser Sammy? You might be older, but Sammy is nicer and has yet to hit you. She is more mature, but I'm not. If you touch her agian, I'll pound you. No one messes with Sammy!" I move over to Sammy and Amy flinches as I move past her. I pull Sammy into a hug and glare at Amy. I hear Amy growl and I turn around to see that she has knife. Where did that come from? Amy runs at us and I pull Sammy towards me as I jump out of the way to avoid the knife. I pick Sammy up and I run up to her room and jump out of the window. Since it was the first story, I land safely on the grass. I hold her close to as I run away from Amy's crazy cries.
"Samey is the lesser me!" She yells as she runs after us. She has lost her mind! Maybe I can lose her by the time we get to my house. I pick up my pace and smile as Amy's cries die. I jump up onto my porch and pretty much kick the door in since I didn't want to set Sammy down. I run into the living room, knowing that my mom would be in there.
"Who is your new friend, Jasmine?" She asks.
"Sammy," I answer, slightly out of breath from the running. "She's hurt, Mom. Call the police. Her attacker was following me and I don't think I'm allowed to beat the attacker up."
"The laws here are a bit different than the ones back home," she giggles as she goes into the kitchen. I set Sammy down on the couch, but she wraps her arms around my neck and won't let go, so I just sit down with her on my lap. If the authorities aren't here before Amy, I'll hurt her like she hurt Sammy.
