Chapter 5: Meeting with Master X

God Gundam stare at Harpuia below the wreckage he's currently standing, judging by his looks he must be the Neo Arcadian military first commander. The fighter hop off the wreckage and landed with a loud thump in front of Harpuia, causing the Neo Arcadians raise their weapons at him but Harpuia stop their action with his hand raise vertically in front of them.

Harpuia gaze at his back and nod, the green flier turn back to God Gundam, "What is your purpose to meet with Master X?" Harpuia asked.

God Gundam only stare at Harpuia silently, "I want to end this meaningless war as I said before, this kind of war should not exist. You should have known by now the Resistance you're killing is innocent."

Harpuia taken slight surprise from that statement, he learned that Mavericks are supposed to be a warmonger and merciless despite their looks. The green reploid know about this long time, however Master X order is absolute and right now they are having an energy crisis. The last statement from God Gundam prove his denied fear.

God Gundam pulled Harpuia's armour vest bring near his face, the pair of green optics stare sternly at the surprised obsidian eye's.

"Or was it for the energy crisis that makes you all start slaughtering people for the sake of your well being?" God Gundam asked with a small hint of anger.

"That was part of the reason, for the human sake we swore to protect." A voice heard far behind the Neo Arcadian's.

God Gundam look up and saw a blur colour attire which look like a cleric's robe from church, the blue reploid slowly walk down the stairs, staring at God Gundam with its crimson eye.

The fighter fix his gaze at the stranger, no doubt he is the Master X judging he reaction from the Neo Arcadian, even the soldiers are kneeling down at him.

'So that's the Master X huh? He seem fragile looking on outside, but the pressure from his stare said otherwise. What makes me confused is why the feelings I'm experiencing? It's like meeting with...'

"You must be the white reploid I've been hearing besides Zero I assume?"

God Gundam snapped his thoughts and saw Master X is behind Harpuia the moment he noticed, the leader of Neo Arcadian give a smile and placed his hand on the fighters arm that currently gripping Harpuia's armour vest.

"Will you be kind to let him go? You're making him uncomfortable." The blue reploid said with slight grin.

God Gundam pulled his arm away from the touch instantly, sensing the chill run in his system,something is definitely wrong with this one. The fighter look at his arm, then back to him.

"What are you?"

"I'm X, the ruler of Neo Arcadian."

"No, I mean what are you really? You're not normal Reploid." God Gundam's frown cross underneath his mouth guard.

"Of course he is not a normal Reploid, he's a special Reploid created for future sake!" Fenrir said.

God Gundam not bother with that information, the feeling he felt early...it feels familiar. 'No, it can't be right. There's no way it is.' The white fighter look at X.

"If you're the leader, then I get to the point. Stop this war!"

"That will not happen, this war is a must for the sake of human. After all, they are Mavericks." Master X said

"What? What makes you think the Reploids you killed are Mavericks? What give's you right to kill them in cold blood? From what I witness the Reploids you people killed doesn't match the Maverick description!" God Gundam clench his fist.

"And what makes you think they are not? Nevertheless, I won't stop this war until the Resistance are wipe out. As for Zero and you, I give one chance." X said

"Chance?"

"Return Ciel to us and pledge your loyalty to me." X said

'Ciel? What do they want with Ciel? Speaking of her, I heard she was once in Neo Arcadian. But why would the ruler want her?'

"And if I return her will you able to let the Resistance go?" God Gundam asked.

X took silent for a moment and later give a smile. "Of course, if they willing to surrender. After all, the resistance are the one's who kidnap her first."

God Gundam covered his optics by looking down, "Is that so?"

"Yes, and your reply will be?" X said while he raise his hand. But suddenly his face distorted by a familiar fist and was send flying behind and crash at the balcony stairs which destroyed into pieces.

The Guardians and Neo Arcadians only look at the wreckage with their ruler buried inside, they turn around and saw God Gundam raise his fist.

"This is my answer. Now I understand what I'm going to do from now on." God Gundam stomp forward causing the floor crack.

"Even if I give Ciel, you will still continue this massacre, you can't fool me with that killing intent you released. Even how much I wanted avoid it but it can't be help."

God Gundam slam his fist together.

"From now on, I will completely bash all of you Neo Arcadians until you received common sense!"

*Insert Shining Gundam theme*

X burst out from the wreckage, showing his death glare towards the white fighter. "Get him!" he ordered.

All Neo Arcadian soldiers charge towards God Gundam and pile themselves on the white fighter.

"Rrrraagghh!" God Gundam released himself and grab his beam saber's on both side of his hips.

"God Waza Dai Nigo! God Slash Typhoon!"

God Gundam leap into the air with beam saber on both hands and circle himself,creating a typhoon like causing the Neo Arcadian's soldier absorbed into the typhoon and was sliced apart in it.

"Heat end!" God Gundam landed on the ground and the Neo Arcadians soldiers exploded behind him into pieces. The green optics glowing as well as the small green gem on his helm.

The Guardians and Master X were shock at it.

"In just one attack-" Phantom said

"Our soldier's-" Leviathan said

"Completely destroyed?!" Fenrir shouted.

Harpuia look at Master X, "Master X, please leave this area immediately. Leave this to us."

"No." X said

"But-"

"I will not leave this humiliation behind...I will kill him with my own hands!" Master X's optics glowed red, clearly he's in rage.

"Sorry, but I waste enough time here. Time to run." He murmured later and start running looking for a way to get the hell out.

"After him! Bring him alive, I will personally scrap him myself!" Master X said

"Master X, Please calm down! We'll currently deployed soldier's on the surrounding cities, he can't escape." Phantom said

Master X sigh himself, trying to calm down from sudden outburst. "I expect good news. Disperse!" Master X leaving.

The Guardians kneel down and got up after their master leave the scene, they look each other.

"So what's the plan?" Fenrir asked

"Close all intersection on every district, command the troops to search each area even the sewers. He won't get far by now." Harpuia said

"Hehehehe, I wonder what he will do about this? He always surprised us with something." Leviathan said

"Leviathan, don't jinx. Who knows what will he do next?" Phantom said.

Soon the heard an uproar just nearby them, the four siblings head and saw completely unexpected.

"I thought he will be hiding at first." Fenrir said

"I can't believe this." Phamtom face palm.

"Hahahaha! See, I knew it!" Leviathan said happily.

Harpuia sigh.

In front of them lies God Gundam currently kicking away every Neo Arcadian along the way and asked for the exit.

"Get out of my way! Hey, you! Where' the bloody exit?" God Gundam kicking away a Neo Arcadian during run and grabbed one of them for guidance.

"You never escape alive, Maverick! Argh-!" God Gundam threw the Neo Arcadian soldier with him and slam on the wall flat. The white fighter reploid is currently running around in circles, grabbing anyone he find and asked for exit.

The Guardians only sweat drop for that, but one of the soldier pointed a direction and God Gundam rushed towards it.

"I give credit for that soldier there." Phantom said.

Soon, God Gundam arrived the main gate of the city, fulled with Neo Arcadian soldiers. The white reploid knew this will happen, hell he's happy to find the exit.

God Gundam slam his fist.

"Now, then time for finale!" He flip down his wings and a round orange light glowed at his back.

"Prepare yourself!" God Gundam dashed forward with his booster towards an army of Neo Arcadian guarding the main gate.

Fenrir grab Phantom, "Oi, is he seriously charging it head on?!"

"Let go of me Fenrir!" Phantom struggling to released himself.

"Owh~~~I can't wait for bloodbath." Leviathan squeal.

"No! Capture him now!" Harpuia said

The guardians look at Harpuia in confused in his words, then they saw God Gundam's back begin glowed brightly.

"God Waza, Dai San! God Field Dash!" God Gundam's orange light glowed bright and released a pillar of flame behind him, making it an extra boost to increase speed. When almost within firing range of Neo Arcadian's.

"Second Burst!" its different when Domon used him, this time the speed is intense until God Gundam covered himself into burst of flames and charge forwards like a bullet.

"Oryaaaa!" God Gundam charge himself towards the soldier and raised his fist drawings closer towards one of the Neo Arcadians face and later explosion happened.

The Guardians take cover, waiting for the explosion and the debris settled down. Leviathan pop her head from brick wall for a peek and shriek in surprised.

"What the hell?!"

"What's wrong?" Fenrir look where Leviathan is pointing, the fiery reploid look at the direction and a shook cross his face. "WHAT THE HECK?!"

"What are you shouting at?" Phantom followed and look at the direction Fenrir point. "What in a world?!"

"What are you three having same reaction for?" Harpuia head shot up and turn his attention where Phantom points.

The green reploid silent for a moment before saying a word. "Jesus Christ."

In front of them left completely destroyed of their soldier's and a huge hole on their main gate with flames trailing along outside.

"What on earth is he?" Harpuia asked.

Meanwhile, God Gundam send SOS signal in a middle of nowhere since inside the city had jammed his signal. He waited beside a huge boulder, thinking back about master X. He look at his arm.

"So that must be what Maverick is according to the symptoms I saw early. But something is bothering me." God Gundam look up the crimson sky due to sun set. "Why it felt like DG cell? No, it can't be. Devil Gundam is dead, I must be thinking too much."

After a while, God Gundam received an transmission it was static but no doubt it was from Ciel with that kind of worry voice.

"God Gundam, are you all right? Are you injured?" Ciel asked with worry, the white reploid imagine her face which shows total worry, he chuckles with that thought.

"I'm fine Ciel, hows the train supply? Is Zero there?"

"It's in resistance and I'm here, sorry I haven't kick the bucket yet." Zero said

"Haha, like that will kill you. So...when can I get back?" God Gundam asked.

"The transfer system almost ready locking in your position, you make us worried, barging into Neo Arcadian capital city on your own. You're lucky able to escape." Ciel said

"Yeah, I'm lucky."

"Locking on coordinates complete, we're taking you home now." Ciel said

"Home sweet home I guess."

God Gundam suddenly felt someone is here, he got up and look around, seeing nothing on deserted land. 'Must be my imagination.' He shrug.

Later, he saw himself being teleport and transferred to Resistance in one piece hopefully. He still not getting used to it and heard a rumours about failed transfer by transferring only half a body. He shivered that thought.

Several seconds after God Gundam was teleport, the boulder suddenly jerking and later exploded into pieces revealed a shadowy figure, head with long spike stretch on both side.

"Heheheh."

Soon after that it disappeared.

God Gundam manage to teleport in one piece, thank god for that he thought. Soon, the Resistance members all grouping on him, welcoming the fighter itself.

"Damn, you're alive!"

"Its incredible you able to escape on your own there!"

"You're awesome!"

God Gundam scratch his head, he felt embarrassed from this. Moments later he saw Ciel and Zero walking up to him.

"Hey." God Gundam waved his hand, however he saw Ciel walking towards him wearing angry looks. 'This can't be good.'

"God Gundam, explain yourself why you head Neo Arcadian alone?" Ciel asked with both her hands on her hips, clearly she's pissed off.

God Gundam sweat drop, he's in trouble now. "Erm...just wanted to see this Master X look like?"

Ciel glare dagger at him, 'I'm so fucked' God Gundam thought. However, Ciel later sigh. "Please don't do that next time, everyone was worried about you going there alone."

"Sorry."

"But why you want to meet Master X?" Ciel asked.

God Gundam look around and then back to Ciel, "I wanted to settle this war diplomatically, but it seem it won't work. This war shouldn't have happen, I can't stand this kind of war and tried to persuade them. But it seem words won't get through them." God Gundam slump his shoulder.

"You should know by now they won't listen to any word." Zero said

"I know, and without a doubt they are Maverick. I can see it very well." God Gundam look at Zero. "Zero, is fighting the only way?"

Zero remain silent however God Gundam get the message, its true, if can settle diplomatically it will be done by now. He felt stupid thinking back early.

"But it won't hurt to try other alternative." Zero words surprised God Gundam, "I don't know about you let alone myself, but you're eye's shown an experience of war and you're trying to do what you can to avoid the spreading fire." Zero placed his hand on God Gundam's shoulder.

"I know your feeling, but know this. You're not alone, everyone of us have their reason to fight. Some for revenge, some for justice, some for protecting. It depends on how they do it." Zero said

God Gundam stare at Zero, he later grin. "Yeah, well if words won't get through them, like I said to them early, I'll bash them up until they regain sense!" He slam his fist together and the Resistance shout, agreed by what he said.

Some time later, they went back to their quarter, God Gundam went to the capsule and lay on it.

"Ops, I forgot to asked Ciel why those Neo Arcadian wanted her? Well, guess I asked tomorrow."

With that, he shut his eye's and put his system down for a nice sleep.
