Now that our female heroes have recruited the Powerpuff Girls, what will be their next move?
In a near forest next to the city of Orchid Bay, we find Lillani, Sandra, Penelope, the Trolls, and Powerpuff Girls exiting another of Nestor's portals, then they've received another message from Prof. Nestor
"Now that we've got the Solar Orb of Solaria and the MovieMorpher, we now move on to our next piece of the puzzle; the Freling Emerald" Nestor said to the girls
"Um...what's that?" Penelope asked in confusion
"It's an ancient crystal that was created during the 1940s beginning of the Warner Bros. company" Nestor answered
"What does it do?" Bubbles asked
"It can make you invulnerable to specific causes of death, like running into a brick-wall, getting shot by a gun, or getting smashed by a falling anvil" Nestor replied
"Well that could be handy" Ruby said to Onyx in a friendly tone
"Nestor, any information on Orchid Bay?" Blossom asked
"Of course, Orchid Bay City is a place where monsters, demons, and many other magical creatures are invisible to most humans, which also keeps evil magic at bay, all because of its guardian, known as the Te Xuan Ze" Nestor explained
"But some of us are not magical, the only ones that are would have to be Ruby and her gang" Lillani pointed out
"True, so only you, Penelope, Sandra, and the Powerpuff Girls might need to disguise yourselves" Nestor suggested before signing off
"So you think Fonty and Carl might've found the emerald?" Sapphire asked
"I don't know, but if not, we might have to be very quick before some other clown tries to harm us" Penelope replied, as they began their search
As usual, Darklust watches them from his crystal ball, he was most furious with the progress his henchmen have failed to pursue
"AGH! The fools shouldn't have made it this far, any more failed plans, and my quest for animation domination will be done for" Darklust ranted, but then had a thought "However, it's not over just yet, for they won't last a minute in Orchid Bay City while searching for the Freling Emerald" he finished as he turned to two other shadow figures
"When you find Lee's residence, you know what to do" Darklust commanded
"Oh ya'll can count on us, boss" the figure said with a cowboy accent
Meanwhile, Fontlaroid and Carl were still in the underground dungeon, which under the house of the Te Xuan Ze's grandmother, and Carl was begging to be let out, much to Fonty's annoyance
"Hey now, you've got it all wrong, I've never done anything wrong, besides I like Chinese, they have good chow, come on, let me out" Carl begged
"Thanks for the support, you back-stabbing neck-bite" Fonty replied sarcastically
"Hey! Sometimes I have to think about myself in these situations" Carl defended
"There's no "I" in team, Carl" Fonty said
"Yeah, there's no "U" either" Carl snapped "So technically if I'm not on the team, and if you're not on the team, NOBODY'S ON THE DOGGONE TEAM, THE TEAM SUCKS!"
"Okay okay look, I'm pretty sure if we do some quick thinking, we just might get out of here and find that emerald" Fonty reminded
But then, something was coming out of the ground, it looked like a mummy in western-wear
"Well howdy ya'll, I take it you critters need a get-outta-jail free card" the mummy exclaimed with a smile
"Who are you?" Carl asked
"Never you mind, just follow me" the mummy suggested while ducking into the hole, Fontlaroid and Carl looked at each other with confused expressions, but they went inside the hole and escaped with no other alternative, then Monroe comes down the stairs to check on the prisoners
"Alright, you two, we need to have a good chat about why you..." he noticed the hole they've escaped through "GREAT MCGRAIGER'S GHOST!" he exclaimed as he ran back up the stairs
Meanwhile, Fonty, Carl, and the mummy found themselves far away from their previous destination, instead they find themselves in a graveyard
"Excuse me sir, but who are you?" Fonty asked
"The name's Khominghettit, but everybody calls me Skeeter" he replied while shaking his hand excitedly
"Why did you help us escape that dungeon?" Carl asked as well
"Just come with me, and then all will be explained" Skeeter answered as he walked down the cemetery with Fonty and Carl following him, after 15 minutes they've arrived at what looked like a restaurant
"Welcome boys, to Skeeter Khominghettit's Salsa and Enchilada Emporium" Skeeter introduced
"Uh...what?" Fonty said in confusion
While Fonty and Carl were with this odd character, the girls continue their search around Orchid Bay City for the Freling Emerald
"Man this sucks, the emerald could be anywhere in this town" Penelope complained
"Yeah, I have to agree with the kangaroo on that" Onyx replied to the rest of the team
But then suddenly, a huge, red, fury creature came from the forest, it had two horns, huge claws, and really wild eyes, it spotted the girls and charged at them
"LOOK OUT!" Sandra shouted as they jump out of the way, while that huge monster roared at the top of its voice
"What was that?" Amethyst exclaimed in shock
"I don't know, but anything that tries to run ME over, is just asking to lose his teeth" Penelope replied in a tough tone as she marches right at the creature with Lillani grabbing Penelope's shirt, trying to prevent that
"Penelope, I don't think you should rumble with that thing, he could eat you alive" Lillani warned Penelope, feeling concerned
"I'm not afraid of any over-grown rodent" Penelope replied while Lillani's hand slipped off of Penelope's shirt as she walked towards the monster
"Hey! Stuart little! you wanna tussle with someone? I'm right here!" Penelope threatened while pounding her gloves
"Oh man, I can't look" Bubbles exclaimed while covering her eyes
The beast charged at Penelope with full force, only for Penelope to swing her arm for a round-house uppercut, she delivers the blow right at the creature's left eye and sends him hurdling at huge rock, feeling unconscious
The girls looked sort of freaked out, yet really amazed at what they just saw
"Wow! she really does pack a punch" Onyx exclaimed
"You should see her in the ring with a water buffalo" Lillani replied
But then the monster regained consciousness and got back up
"Oh so you're not out?" Penelope exclaims while holding her fists up
Then the creature held in his breath, and breathed fire right from out of its mouth, nearly burning our heroes to bits
"Okay, I didn't see that coming" Buttercup said
"Whatever, I like a good challenge anyway" Penelope scoffed as she charged at the creature, sucker-punched it to the ground, and continued to pummel him
"Show-off, I could've done that" Buttercup complained
Then out of nowhere, that same Asian girl named Juniper Lee jumps right into the open in a martial arts stance
"Hey! Miss Tyson! Why don't you pick on someone your own species!?" Juniper shouted right before she does a kick in the air right at Penelope
"Ow! What the heck?" Penelope said while rubbing her head "So you wanna dance, do you? well then let's get it on" Penelope exclaimed just as she and Juniper battle it out
"Oh crap! What should we do?" Lillani asked Sandra in a panic
"If Fonty was here, he would know what to do" Sandra replied
Meanwhile, at Skeeter Khominghettit's Salsa and Enchilada Emporium, Skeeter was explaining everything about his business and why he helped bust Fonty and Carl while they were all getting the place cleaned up
"So this Te Xuan Ze is every monster's biggest fear?" Fonty asked
"I'm afraid so, she's the reason why monsters only come out at night" Skeeter replied
"She sounds like bad news" Carl remarked
"That's right, which is why I'm cooking up some dishes that make any magical creature stand up to the little horse-thief, because there's nothing more important than the well-being of my people" Skeeter explained
"Now that's the attitude people should have" Carl replied
"And somehow, I have not been able to get any customers in yet" Skeeter added in confusion
"I think I know why, I don't believe that just three workers is enough for such an elaborate offensive" Fonty explained
"You really should listen to him, Skeeter, he seems to know a lot about being offensive" Carl joked, which offended Fonty
"Clam it, fricktard" Fonty insulted
"SEE!?" Carl asked in a offended tone
"Anyway, I've already found a way to reel in more employees, with the Orb of Cryptogeist" Skeeter said as he shows a huge, neon stone "Now if we each tap into its power, we'll get a ranch-load of workers, plus if this works, I'll help you get that emerald you were talking about"
"You got yourself a deal" Carl said while shaking Skeeter's hand, yet Fonty wasn't so sure about this, but he went along with it, they each held the orb, and it glowed
"And now, we're in business! YEE-HAW!" Skeeter exclaimed as he waves his hat around
Meanwhile, Juniper and Penelope were still duking it out, Penelope dodging June's kicks, and June avoiding Penelope's punches, they were each at an even match, until June tossed Penelope into a far away graveyard
"PENELOPE!" Lillani exclaimed as she and the others ran over to where she landed
"What the...HEY!" June shouted as she ran after them
Just as Penelope was getting up, she heard moans and cackles coming from the graves, crypts, and tombs, they were all dozens of ghosts, all heading in the same direction
"Whoa" Penelope exclaimed, and then the girls and June went over to see what's going on
"What did you do now?" June asked in frustration
"I didn't do anything" Penelope yelled to June
"What is going on?" Blossom asked
"Somebody must've been bringing people back from the dead" Sapphire theorized
"Where are they going?" Lillani asked
"Let's find out" Ruby suggested as they run in their direction, but then June stops them
"Hold it, nobody's going anywhere until I get answers" June demanded
"Listen kid, we don't time for this, the universe could be at risk" Sandra said to June
"What are you talking about?" June asked in a confused tone
"Ugh it's a long story, just come with us and we'll explain everything on the way" Penelope suggested
"Fine, but if you do anything funny, there's gonna be a problem" June threatened as they run off to where the ghosts are going, but as they left, something came out of the bush, it was an orange cat in torn-up clothes and a hat to match
"Finally, some good Samaritans to get rid of the likes of Skeeter and his posse, my people shall be free" the cat cheered
As it turns out, the ghosts are heading down to Skeeter Khominghettit's Salsa and Enchilada Emporium, much to Skeeter's excitement, Carl's amazement, and Font's fright
"YEE-HAW! Here comes the posse!" Skeeter cheers
"Are you kidding? You're using ghosts to work in your business?" Fonty asks in disgust
"Why not? they're much more cheaper than my old zombie employees" Skeeter replied in optimism
"Wait...you've used zombies once?" Carl asked
"You can bet your pine-needles, they were my former employees from my old Waffle and Rib Emporium" Skeeter explained
"What happened to that business?" Carl asked
"Oh...uh...I'd rather not say, it's too embarrassing" Skeeter replied
"You can't use phantoms as employees! that's just inhumane" Fonty snapped
Skeeter gasped at what Fontlaroid said
"Come now, partner, don't ya'll think you're over-reacting just a little bit" Skeeter asked in panic
"Fonty, come on, be cool" Carl suggested to Fonty
"What's really going on?" Fonty asked
"What ever do you mean, little fella?" Skeeter asked while sweating a bit
"You know darn well what I mean, you lunatic!" Fonty snapped
"Hmmm...well, since you put it that way..." he said before he wraps up Fonty and Carl in his bandages
"Ow! what the...what are you doing?" Carl shouted while struggling
"You varmints know too much, and I can't have you meddling in my plans" Skeeter answered with a chuckle
"What plan?" Fonty asked
"It's very simple, I use you two to help me conjure up a new work force since the Te Xuan Ze foiled my two previous schemes, and since you made your end of the deal, that makes you a loose end, and loose ends should be tied up" Skeeter explained with a villainous smile
"I swear to you Skeeter, you won't get away with this!" Fonty shouts in a rage
"Oh really? and who's gonna stop me?" Skeeter asked before someone busted down the door
"Well if it isn't Skeeter Khominghettit" a voice said, which was actually Juniper
"The Te Xuan Ze!" Skeeter exclaimed
"You know this dude?" Onyx asked
"Unfortunately yeah" Juniper replied
"I'm not gonna let you interfere in my business again, GHOSTS! ATTACK!" Skeeter demanded as the spirits swarm around our heroes, the Troll girls were shooting their magic beads, The Powerpuff Girls were shooting lasers from their, except for Blossom who was using her ice breath, while the rest were battling the mummy himself, Lillani and Penelope were untangling Carl and Fonty
"Thanks girls" Fonty replied
"Now what should we do?" Lillani asked
"Well first, we need to destroy that orb, and then we..." Fonty then notices the orb was gone "Where did it go?" he also noticed a window was open, and he saw a shadowy figure
"You guys take care these goons, I'll get the orb" Fonty suggested
"Sure thing, Font" Penelope replied as Fonty went out the window
"Oh man, how do we get rid of these ghosts?" Carl asked feeling worried
But then, Lillani thought of something, she reached into her purse and took out what looked like a familiar thermos
"This should really help us out" Lillani said as she opens up the thermos and sucks in every ghost in the restaurant
"WHAT! NO! HOW!" Skeeter shrieked
"Danny lent me one of these just in case" Lillani says
"Wow, good call" Carl said while giving a thumbs-up, making Lillani blush
"And now it's your turn" Penelope threatened Skeeter, making him tremble in fear
"Now hold on there, little lady, can't we talk this over?" Skeeter asked in a nervous tone, but shook her head in disagreement
"Didn't think so" Skeeter replied before Penelope pounced on him and beat him senseless, but then Ruby remembered something
"Wait, where's Fontlaroid?" Ruby asked Carl
Fontlaroid was continuing his search for whoever stole that orb, but he was having no luck
"Oh man, Nestor and Norman are gonna give me so much crap if something else goes wrong" Fonty said to himself, but then he heard another cowboy yell "YEEHAW! HOG-TIE HIM BOYS!"
"What the heck..." Fonty got cut off when something got him wrapped up in rope and thrown onto a set of train, then a whole gang of cats appeared while shooting their guns and yelling their red-neck cheers, until one brown cat in red clothing appeared
"Every day, week after week, each of you magical freaks strike terror to our souls, and terrorize our homes, well I here by say sir, ENOUGH!" the cat ranted as the posse cheered
"Fire up the iron horse, Mushmouse" the orange cat earlier ordered, as a hillbilly mouse switched the train-tracks
Fonty's eyes widen as he sees the train coming in his direction, he tries to get the orange cat's attention
"Psst, hey! Redneck!" Fonty called
"The name's Punkinpuss" the cat corrected
"Yes fine, Punkinpuss, just stop the train! please!" Fonty demanded
"Big no can do, cracker-jack" Punkinpuss replied
"What's going on here?" Fonty asked
"Somebody's gotta pay" Punkinpuss answered
"Pay for what?" Fonty asked while raising an eyebrow
"I DON'T KNOW! JUST PAY! NOW STOP WHINNING, AND JUST TAKE IT LIKE A MAN!" Punkinpuss shouted in annoyance
The train was getting closer by the minute, much to Fonty's distress
"Seriously! stop the train!" Fonty demands in fright
"Ah alright! Stop the train!" Punkinpuss shouted from the distance
"Thank you" Fonty sighed in relief, but then...
"NOW FULL SPEED AHEAD AND RAM HIM!" Punkinpuss shouted
"Wait, what?" Fonty asked
"SPLIT HIS HEAD LIKE A WATERMELON!" Punkinpuss shouted again
The train was 5 seconds away from crushing Fonty until Juniper jumps in and stops the train
"Hi" Juniper greeted in a friendly tone
"For crying out loud" Punkinpuss complained, as did the rest of the cats, then Juniper takes the orb, and tosses it into the lake, where it sank
"Alright Fonty, hang on" June suggested as she opened up a red jar, she grabbed Fonty by the hand and they literally rocketed right out of there
"YEAH! YOU BETTER RUN YOU VARMINT! THAT YELLOW-SKIN AIN'T ALWAYS GONNA BE THERE TO PROTECT Y'ALL! YOU HEAR ME!?" Punkinpuss ranted
Everybody met up at Lee's residence to explain the situation, even Nestor and Norman had to come over
"So you see, Jasmine, we were looking for that Freling Emerald for the AnthroFilmBlast" Fonty explained
"I just can't believe you fell for one of Skeeter's scheme's" Monroe said
"What is up with that tool, anyway?" Carl asked
"Well you see, Skeeter Khominghettit is a 3,000 year-old mummy from Memphis who was not one of the wealthiest pharaohs" June explained
"But why was he opening a fast-food business?" Fonty asked
"That's one of his strong-points, like he did with ribs and waffles made by zombies" June answered
"And what about those psychotic cats?" Fonty asked
"That I'm not sure" June answered
"I think I know, they must've been teleported to this dimension from a different one as well" Nestor assumed
"Oh hold on, Lillani, Penelope, would you care to introduce your new companions?" Carl asked his girlfriend
"These are my friends from Trollzopolis; Ruby, Amethyst, Sapphire, Topaz, and Onyx" Lillani introduced
"And these are my new pals; Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, the Powerpuff Girls" Penelope introduced
"Well I am Juniper Lee, the Te Xuan Ze of Orchid Bay City" Juniper Lee introduced, but then remembered locking up Fonty and Carl by mistake "Hey sorry about putting you in that dungeon"
"Eh, I've been through worse" Fonty replied
"So you've been captured by a gang of hillbilly cats?" the little boy asked "THAT WAS AWESOME!"
"Ray-ray, please stop" June suggested to him
"Cats, I've never really liked them anyway" Monroe barked while rolling his eyes
"Anyway, are you familiar with this book?" Nestor asked Jasmine while showing her "The Heroes of Animation"
"Yes I am, it has never been read or touched in hundreds of years, this journey of yours must be very important" Jasmine Lee replied
"Which is why we need that emerald to vanquish Emperor Darklust" Nestor added
"Well if that's the case, you'll need Juniper to accompany you on your quest" Jasmine advised
"Sure, welcome to the team" Carl said
"But Ah-Mah, you know I can't leave Orchid Bay, the Elders say so" Juniper pointed out
"Dimension traveling is a huge exception, plus this is a huge deal" Jasmine replied
"Well okay, but Ray-ray and Monroe have to stay put" June suggests
"What? Aw man" Ray-ray complained
And then, Nestor opens up a portal
"Here's the emerald" Jasmine says while handing it to Nestor
"Thank you Jasmine" Nestor replied
"Well here we go" June says while everyone was entering the portal while waving goodbye to Jasmine, Ray-ray, and Monroe as they wish June good luck
"You think she'll be okay?" Ray-ray asked
"She'll be fine" Jasmine answered
"But who's gonna keep the peace in Orchid Bay now" Monroe asked
"We've got things under control" Jasmine responded
Now that Juniper Lee has joined the team, they have the upper hand
