This is a big chapter.

"These aren't the recommended drinks when making a toast," Tinkerbell laughed lifting her coffee cup, "But I guess they are appropriate. To Peri and Elsa, the champs of the ice."
"Yeah,"
"Here here,"
Everyone lifted their cups towards the girls sitting on the sofa in the coffee house. Peri covered her eyes with her hand.
"Why do you always have to be so sappy,"
"Because you're my sister and I'm proud of you. You won, first place. You even beat Elsa. That doesn't happen everyday…or ever. I'm going to brag around that until it gets old. No offence Elsa,"
Elsa held up a hand with a smile indicating she was fine with it. "Besides don't act like you don't announce to the whole world when I get some innovation prize or with a science fair with an invention."
Periwinkle huffed at her.

"She's not half as bad as Anna," Elsa supplied.
"Hey!" Anna protested while Peri giggled.
"I highly doubt that,"
"Hey!" Tink stamped her foot, fuming.
"See, my sister actually gets red in the face whenever she gets mad,"
"I do not," Tink whined.
"Yeah, ya' kinda do Tink. Like right now," Vidia said leaning an elbow on her shoulder. Tink turned to glare at her.
"Do you really think I'm worse than Tinkerbell?"
"In being an annoying sister, oh yes," Elsa smirked. Anna pouted and hopped of Elsa's couch to sit on Kristoff's lap.
"Red in the face is nothing compared to have an eternal five year old as a younger sister," Elsa said to Peri.
"I think we can call it about it even," Peri said, looking on as their sisters started a discussion on which of them might actually be more annoying.

Elsa and Peri couldn't help but laugh. Elsa had to admit that she really liked Periwinkle and her friends. Perhaps it was because she and Peri had a lot in common with their ability in winter athletics and sisters who drove them half mad, but they loved to death. Plus Tinkerbell's group of friends were always fun to be around. They were, probably, the most mismatched cliques in the school, but despite their varying personalities they did fix together, like pieces from different puzzles that came together somehow.

"Elsa, did you and the hummingbird have a run in recently?" Peri asked.
"No," Elsa was genuinely perplexed by the question, "Why would you ask?"
"It's just that when you talked before, she seemed strangely casual." Most of the others were too engrossed in Tinkerbell's and Anna's discussion on what compromises an annoying sister to pay Elsa and Peri an attention. But Rapunzel had paused in the middle of a sip and looked at the skaters intently as she slowly lowered her cup.
"She did?" Elsa shrugged, "Well, she's not really the moony to give you the evil eye,"
"Fair point. She more the one to smile so sweetly you can't help but think she's plotting your murder."
"She does have a smile like that, doesn't she?" Elsa laughed. "Maybe that's why she seemed so casual. She must be plotting a way to get rid me before the winter games."
"If I were a moony that's what I'd do,"
"Which is why I'm glad you're not a moony," Elsa teased.

"Wait hold up," Tinkerbell waved her arms, interrupting what Anna had been about to say, "Why are we trying to figure out why we're annoying? Peri plenty annoying. That's what we should talk about."
Peri gasps in shock, "How dear you? I'm a gem,"
"Sure you are." Tinkerbell teased her. That started a heated debate between the two pair of sisters, which their friends watched in amusement. Vidia took a bet with Flynn on who would win. Flynn lost twenty bucks.

"As fun as this had been, winning medals isn't exactly easy work. I can hear my bed calling me." Elsa said.
"I agree with that," Peri nodded, "I wouldn't mind heading home,"
"You do deserve a rest," Tink said helping her sister up, "We'll see you guys at school."
"Bye Peri, bye Tink." Anna waved them off before turning to tell the others goodbye. She wrapped a hand around Elsa's waist as they left the shop.
"You know I'm super proud of you, right?"
"I thought I was an annoying big sister," Elsa smirked at her.
"You totally are," Anna said in a dead serious voice before a grin broke out on her face, "But that doesn't mean I can't be proud of you. Which I am."
"I know Anna," Her smirked softened in a small smile, "I know."

The drive back home was quiet. That was broken momentarily when they got home and told their mom Elsa came in second.
"Oh sweetheart I'm so happy for you. That's great."
"Thanks mom, but if you don't mind I'd like you have a nap. We can gush about it later, when dad's home."
"Of course honey." Her mother nodded, understanding, "You head up and get some rest."

Elsa trudged up to her room, pulling her hair loose, and fell on her bed, snuggling into the sheets. She felt like her eyes ad only been closed for a few seconds when Anna was there shaking her awake.
"Ann? Is it dinner already,"
"Nope," She had a sly grin that make Elsa wry.
"What is it?"
"You have a guest,"
"What? Who?" Thinking back that was stupid question. She should have known who it was from the grin Anna's face. But sleep was idling her brain.

"Hey princess,"
Her head snapped around to the door, where Jack was standing, hands clasped behind his back, laughing. Her eyes went wide and she hopped out of bed and closed the door promptly in his face.
"Elsa you almost slammed my nose!"
"You just let him up here," She hissed turning on Anna.
"Mom let him up, not me." Anna was trying very hard not to laugh, and failing miserably. Elsa turned towards the mirror running a hand through her hair.
"You could have given me a warning or something."
"I could have," Anna agreed with a smirk, "You look fine," Anna pulled open the door saying to Jack, "She all yours,"
She stepped out still laughing as she headed downstairs.

"Ah, this is a surprise," A shy grin appeared on Elsa's face.
"Yeah, sorry." Jack shrugged, "I just happened to have these," He pulled his hands from behind his back, revealing a bouquet of white lilies, "And I figured you might like them."
"Oh Jack they're beautiful,"
"Congratulations," Jack leaned forward, gently cupping her cheek before pressing his lips to hers. She hummed in appreciation.
"Thanks," Elsa smiled when they pulled apart, "But shouldn't you be celebrating with Tooth,"
"Nah, she said she wanted crash so we decided to celebrate tomorrow,"
"I see," Elsa set the flowers down on her desk and sat on her bed.
"I guess that's what you were doing before I came," Jack sat next to her.
"Yeah," She admitted.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you,"
She shook her head, leaning against him, "It's fine. I don't mind."
Jack put his arm around her allowing her to lay her head on his shoulder, "You can go back to sleep if you want, I wouldn't mind."
Elsa shook her head again, "That would be rude."
"But you must be tired,"
"But you came over to spend time with me…it would be rude if I went to sleep."
Jack kissed her forehead, "Just close your eyes for a few minutes,"
"Maybe just for a few minutes."

Jack chuckled softly as she snuggled closer. He leaned back against the headboard, taking one of her hands in his bring it up to press a kiss to her knuckles. "Good night princess,"
A few minutes later Anna walked into the room announcing she had snacks but cut herself short when she spotted Elsa.
"Oh…sorry," She smiled, whispering "I didn't think she'd fall asleep again,"
"She tried not to, but after her day she deserves a rest," Jack replied softly.
"Want some cookies?" Anna held out a plate with an assortment of cookies. Jack nodded taking one.
Anna choose one herself and sat on her desk chair rolling it a bit closer to Elsa's bed.
"How's Ellie?"
"Adorable as ever," They spoke in hushed tones as not to disturb Elsa.
"You could have brought her over. You know you're both welcome over anytime, despite whenever dad might say,"
Jack chuckled softly. "Thanks, I'll think about bringing her next time,"
"No thinking about it. Just bring her," Anna said, a little sternly.
"Yes ma'am," Jack gave a two fingered salute.

Anna glanced at the desk where the flowers were.
"How'd you know that Elsa likes lilies?"
"She does? I just picked them out because I thought they looked nice, and I didn't want to be cliché with roses,"
"She loves lilies. Not sure if you can call them her favorites…I don't think she has a favorite flower, just some she likes more than others. But Lilies are pretty high up in her preferences."
"I'm glad I choose them then," Jack smiled down at Elsa.
"You make her happy you know," Anna said suddenly. Jack looked up, blinking in mild surprise. He opened his mouth for a few seconds but didn't say anything.
"I'm just saying," Anna shrugged, with a smile. Jack smiled and looked down at Elsa again.
"She makes me happy too," Jack looked up Anna again, "We never really talked before have we?"
"Probably because all the times we've been together you end up making out with my sister," Anna laughed.
"Not every time," Jack snapped. Elsa shifted and both he and Anna froze.
"You wanna go outside so we don't wake her?"
"Good idea," Jack nodded, carefully shifting Elsa so she was lying on the bed and not him, before following Anna out of the room. He took another cookie from the plate as they walked down stairs.
"So you're dating Disney's hockey captain right?"
"Why do you want to know?"
Jack shrugged, "Just trying to get to know better,"
"Well, yes I am dating Kristoff."
"He's a good hockey player."
"Thank you. I think that would mean a lot him, coming from you…you know, if I could tell him."
"I find it hard to believe he'd appreciate a compliment coming from a DreamWork's student."
"You have a point," Anna contemplated as she munched on a cookie. "But then again, as much as he hates you he does respect you,"
"Seriously,"
"Yeah, he wonders why you're not a regular for the hockey team. He considers you and Hiccup the strongest players on the team"
"Well you know, hockey players are in constant rotation on the ice. But even so Hiccup and his friends have a bond that allows them to work really together. There's a reason they call the team a tribe. Those six, it's like they know what the other person is going to do before they do it. Hiccup and I can be pretty in sync when we have to, but never like he's able to be with those five. Also personally I think Astrid is a better player than me."
"I think Kristoff is a little scared of her, but he'll never admit that. Don't tell anyone I say that." She said quickly.
"I don't blame him. She scares me too. She scares most people." Jack laughed.

They ended up walking in the living room for the next hour, Anna and Elsa's mom even join them. When Elsa came down the stairs yawning she paused when she saw Jack sitting on the sofa.
"Hey, good morning beautiful," He smirked.
"You're still here,"
"Yeah, I ended up chatting with Anna and your mom,"
"Ah…they didn't say anything to embarrassing…did they?"
"Elsa, why would we do that?" Anna tried to sound abashed, but the smile pulling at her lips was giving her away.
"What did they say?" Elsa groaned sitting next to Jack.
"Nothing too bad," He smiled, kissing her cheek.
"Why don't I believe that?"
"Oh come Elsa. I was just getting to know my brother in law better," Anna laughed at the reaction her statement got.
"Don't even joke," Elsa said evenly. Their mother chuckled.

"That's enough you two," She said lightly, "Jack you mentioned that you're participating in the winter games as well."
"Yea, I'm taking part in Alpine snowboarding and slopestyle."
"I'm sure Elsa will look forward to seeing your events."
"Mom!"
"I wish could I have seen her ski,"
"What are you talking about?"
"They're having the men's slopestyle and women's skiing events are both early in the morning so we're probably going to be at our events when the other is participating."
"That's a shame,"
"It is. I was really looking forward to seeing you ski." Jack grinned at Elsa jabbed him playfully.
"Don't pretend like you didn't want see me in the slopestyle,"
"Not really,"
"You can lie to yourself all you want princess, but that doesn't change the fact you're blushing right now."
"Shut up Frost,"

Anna and her mother broke out laughing. While Jack chuckled softly, pulling Elsa closer to him, nuzzling his nose affectionately against her cheek. She tried to maintain her angry demeanor but she broke after a few seconds and turned to peck him gently on the lips.

Days later Elsa was plied into the back of Kristoff's truck with Merida, Rapunzel and Flynn. Anna was sitting shot gun. Her ski equipment was in the truck bed, along with Kristoff's snowboard. The sun was barely up but they were already eagerly discussing the upcoming events.
"No way is Kristoff going to lose," Flynn said.
"I'm not saying I don't have fate in my favorite burly blonde boy," Merida said, "I'm just saying Sled is good too."
"He is participating in both snowboarding and skiing events." Rapunzel supplied.
"So that makes him better than me?" Kristoff asked, looking at her in the rear view mirror.
"Babe, don't fret. Isn't a little rivalry between friends a good thing?"
"Why need a rivalry between friends when we have DreamWork's?" Elsa said.
"The moonies probably have the usual line this year," Flynn said.
"That means Frost and Hiccup for snowboarding for the guys, Astrid and Ruffnut for the girls." Kristoff said.
"Don't forget that the other twin skis, and the other guy skier is Snotlout and the girls are Roxanne and Tooth," Anna supplied.
"Right. But we have Elsa so there's no way can lose in skiing," Merida grinned.
"Be overconfident can be fatal," Elsa stated.
"It's not being over when you're awesome," Flynn reached over Rapunzel to pat Elsa on the back.
"Thanks, but still nothing is certain."
"And Gliss is a great skier too," Anna said, "Peri and Spike are both top notch snowboarders. Is it me or are the girls in our winter sports just super high caliber?"
"Hey?" Kristoff glanced at Anna, offended.
"Not that I'm saying that you're good too sweetie. Because you are. You're so good. And the other guys are too. Slush may come across like he's high most of the like but he's the best skier I know, aside from Elsa."
"But of course we're going to have to deal with Blue Sky as well. Honestly, DreamWork's are our only real work until winter comes around. It's like those guys are reverse hibernators or something and they only wake up during winter." Flynn said making the others laugh at his description.

A couple mintues later they were pulling into a park. "Aww man, a bunch of people are here already," Kristoff said looking around at the crowds.
"You'd think only the competitors were the only ones who'd get here so early."
"Maybe everyone is like us and brought their entourage with the." Elsa laughed.
"We're your entourage, are we?" Merida hit her playfully.
"Well, today you are," She teased, "Kristoff we should probably go sign in right away."
"Good idea," he said hopping out. The others did the same.
"I need something hot to drink," Flynn said rubbing his hands together.
"I think I saw some shop stalls back that way when we drove it," Rapunzel indicated back over her shoulder.
"Okay, I'll go with Elsa and Kristoff," Anna said bouncing to Elsa's side.
"We should only be a few minutes," Elsa said.
"Sounds like a plan. We'll meet you back at the stands," Merida said.
"Kay," Anna called as she, Kristoff and Elsa walked towards the main building. But when they were just outside the doors Kristoff stopped, patting his pockets.
"Oh damn, I forgot my wallet,"
"Do you need it?" Anna asked.
"Might need a form of ID to sign in. You go ahead, I'll just run back to the truck."
"I could come with you," Anna offered.
"Nah, stay with Elsa. I won't be long." He ran off, leaving the sisters to continue to the building.

"You nervous?" Anna asked, linking their arms.
"A little, but that's usual,"
"You'll do great. I know you will,"
"Thank Anna,"
Walking inside they were directed to a line of tables were Elsa could sign in. Both sisters stopped for a second when they saw the group of people by one of the tables. Anna smiled and looked at her sister. Elsa only smirked slightly and said, "Let's go,"

Walking up the others were too busy signing in to notice her arrival until she said, "Elsa Winters representing Disney."
Jack, Tooth and Hiccup all looked up as the man sitting on the other side of the table handed her a sign in sheet.
"Well, if it isn't the Snow Queen," Hiccup smirked.
"I hope you don't mind losing today," Tooth said, "Because I'm expecting the gold.
"Funny," Elsa laughed, "I was just going to say the same thing to you,"
"Hey," Jack said.
"Oh really smooth," Hiccup snorted. Jack slapped him in the arm.
"Hey," Elsa replied, "Where are the rest of your friends?"
"North and Aster went to grab some good seats near one of the big screen so they wouldn't miss anything. And Sandy took Ellie to the washroom for me."
"Ellie's here?" Anna asked, "Does she know she can't talk us?"
"I explained. She's not happy. But I promised I'd invite both of you over to make it up,"
"Both us? Cool we can't wait,"
"Oh god, why would you greet to let them end up in the same room again?" Elsa groaned.
"I really didn't have much choice in the matter."

"I hate to cut this short but Kristoff should be here soon."
"Right, ahh…good luck today."
"You too," Elsa smiled, "All of you," She said to Hiccup and Tooth.
"Thanks," They said together.

Elsa was almost finished signing in when Kristoff came in. He eyed Jack and the others.
"They didn't say anything to you, did they?"
"No, they didn't say anything." Anna passed him the things he need to sign. Jack, Hiccup and Tooth left while Kristoff was still signing in.

After he was done they found Merida by the stands.
"Flynn and Rapunzel are still getting coffee," Merida answered the unasked question.
"Guess who we saw at the sign in," Kristoff said.
"Oh? Who?" Merida asked.
"Moonies, Jack Frost, Hiccup and the hummingbird."
Merida's eyebrows shot up. She looked over at Elsa. Elsa titled her head to the side a bit and shrugged. Merida nodded like she understood.
"Were they civil?" She asked.
"Didn't say anything,"
"Hey," Rapunzel and Flynn appeared from the crowds, both carrying two coffee cup in their hands. Rapunzel handed one to Merida and Flynn passed his extra cup to Anna.
"We didn't get you anything because I figured you won't want anything before you compete."
"It's fine Punz," Elsa smiled,
"We should having anything right before anyway," Kristoff said.
"You could have a sip of mine," Anna offered both of them.
"Nah, they might start calling us soon, so we should grab our stuff." Kristoff said, glancing at his watch.
"Right," Elsa nodded.

"Good luck," Anna hugged both of them. Merida and Rapunzel both hugged Elsa and Flynn and Kristoff shared a fist bump.
"You'd better win," He said.
"We'll try," Elsa laughed.

An hour later the competition had begun and the first few competitors had already gone. A grinning Jack Frost returned to the tent where the other snowboarders were either waiting to go or, if they'd gone already gone, were watching the scores of the others to see where they ranked, or a few were looking out across the stands where they could see large monitors that displayed the events happening on the slopes.
"God damn it Frost, you're the fourth one of the day and you get an almost perfect score," Hiccup said laughing as Jack's numbers appeared screen. He'd gotten a 48.1 out a possible 50.
"What can I say? I'm that that good,"
Hiccup punched him.
"Hey, ow! What was that for, you're acting like you don't have the second highest score right now."
"I'm almost four points behind you. That's plenty of space for me to pushed out,"
"Don't be so pessimistic," Jack shoved him playfully, "So what's happening in other parts of the mountain." He asked looking across the monitors.
"Disney's girl just went, Gliss, she currently has the time to beat."
Jack spotted the current times on the screen, "She's 6.7 seconds ahead of Shira, that's good."
"Yeah, but it may not last long."

"Hey, Kristoff, Elsa's about to go," Sled said drawing the attention pretty much everyone in the tent. They all turned to face the monitors, no one wanting to miss an opportunity to see the Snow Queen on the slopes. Viewing from the screens weren't the best considering how far away they but could make her figure darting down the slope, and more importantly they could see her time in comparison to the other times. When she was half way down her run someone whistled.
"Holy shit," Diego said, "She's almost 15 seconds ahead of the other Disney chick,"
"How is that even possible?" Sid asked.
"Is she even real?" Sled asked.
"That's Elsa," Kristoff laughed.
"Damn," Hiccup shook his head in disbelief, "She is something," he turned to Jack and barely stopped himself from laughing. "Dude," He touched Jack's shoulder, "Dude. Dude!" He shook him.
"What?" Jack looked at Hiccup, blinking like he'd been stunned.
"You were drooling," Hiccup said in low voice. He pulled away them from the others, just in case someone wasn't completely engrossed with Elsa and happened to be listening.
"No I wasn't," He replied hastily, even as his hands shot up to wipe the corners of his mouth.
"Dude, you so where." Hiccup was laughing now.
"Shut up,"
"I'm sorry. But you should have seen you're face. You were completely gone."
"No I was not,"
"Yeah dude. You…" Hiccup was cut off by a loud collective gasp. He and Jack looked at the other guys to see looks of horror on their faces. Sid had a hand over his eyes, and Sled was cringing. They turned to the monitors and saw why the others had those looks. On the screen where Elsa should have been was a small avalanche.
Kristoff ran from the tent.
"Kristoff you still have to go!" Sled called.
"I'm almost last, and they'll call my name!" He yelled back not slowing down.

Jack's legs were moving before he knew what was happening. Hiccup grabbed him by the jacket before he could leave the tent.
"Dude, no you can't," He hissed.
"Hiccup let me go," He snapped, trying to escape his grip.
"Remember where you are," Hiccup held him tighter. Jack unzipped his outer jacket and was out of it and running before Hiccup could react.

Ah...yeah...so...that happened.
