I should be finished with this story by now. (But I just had to be Korrasami shipper trash.) *sigh* Sorry, but we're almost to the end. This is the penultimate chapter.

A week had passed since the big reveal and tensions hadn't diffused. At Disney things only got worse when they lost to Blue Sky in their hockey game. The tension between Kristoff and rest of the team proved to be their undoing. Against any other team they might have been able to pull through. But going up against the Blues if you won't working like a well oiled machine you wouldn't stand a chance. A win over Blue Sky would have been a win over DreamWorks by default and right now they needed a win over DreamWorks, in any capacity. Kristoff had been especially frustrated by this, and he wasn't afraid to show it, taking out his aggression on snow piles in his back yard. Elsa, Anna, Merida, Rapunzel and Flynn were sitting on the back porch looking on. Anna had her hands around the neck of a large fluffy German shepherd.

"Don't worry Sven," She said to the dog, "He's just letting off some steam."

When Kristoff approached them Flynn asked, "Do you feel better now?"

"No, I don't. A loss is the last thing the school needs now,"

"There's nothing we can do about it now," Merida said.

"The Blues are good, everyone knows it. They're not going to blame you," Rapunzel said.

"You're right, they're not going to blame but they're going to find some way to blame her," He pointed to Elsa.

"I can handle whatever they throw at me. You don't have to worry,"

"Yes I do, because you're my friend, and because whatever comes back to you also comes back to Anna,"

"Kristoff!" Anna snapped.

"You haven't told her yet, have you?"

"Told me what?"

"Nothing," Anna glared at Kristoff, "There's nothing."

"Anna…" Elsa's voice held a dangerous tone, "Tell me what's he's talking about."

Anna looked down, using Sven as a physical shield against her sister's searing eyes.

"If you won't tell her I will," Kristoff said.

"No!"

"All those lovely messages you've been getting, and those pranks people are doing. The same thing has been happening to Anna,"

"It's been happening to all of us," Anna said.

"Yes but it's been worst for you,"

"Kristoff, drop it."

"Anna why didn't you tell me it was this bad,"

"It's not bad. And you've been able to handle everything, so can I?"

"You left your bag for five minutes the other day and came back to find it filled with glue."

"Kristoff that's enough!" Anna stood.

"No, she has to know what she's putting you through,"

"She isn't putting me through anything. It's the idiots at school. And acting like an over protective meat head isn't helping,"

"Over protective? Is it over protective that I want to stop those morons from ruining your school books? Is it over protective that I don't like the things they're saying,"

"You said you were okay with this,"

"No. I said I'd stand by you because you're all my friends. But my feelings for you are more and I don't want anything to happen to you,"

"Well I don't need to look out for me like a child," Anna turned walking back in the house.

"Anna wait," Kristoff ran after her leaving the backyard eerily quiet.

Elsa sigh, dropping her head forward. "It's a mess,"

"That's an understatement," Merida said.

"You know I never wanted to you all to be dragged down with me,"

"Did you think about that when you started dating a moony?" Flynn said. Rapunzel hit him.

"Stop now," Elsa said, "Please don't you start fighting too."

"Elsa look," Merida moved closer to her, "Things suck now. We've discovered that some of our schoolmates are immature idiots who don't realize that the moonies don't solely exist to make our lives hell. So what? Not everyone hates us, and that's something. And it's high school. This will blow over soon enough."

"Will it?"

"Sure it will. We just have to give it time,"

"You know you're not sounding very convincing."

"Hey, Rapunzel it the unwavering optimist of the group. I'm usually the realist"

"What? So it's my job to keep everyone looking on the bright side,"

"Basically," Merida smiled.

"I'm sorry if I haven't been doing my job,"

"Yeah, I can't be the realist if I have no overly optimistic comments to shoot down."

"How about this? Tomorrow we'll bake brownies for everyone, the really chocolate kind with the chips and nuts and we'll share those for everyone and they'll accept it as a peace offering and everything will be made right again."

Flynn smirked slightly at this.

"Yes, but what about people who have allergies to nuts," Merida said.

"Then we make it without nuts,"

"But not everyone likes chocolate,"

"Who doesn't like chocolate?"

Elsa started laughing, interrupting their banter. "I know what you two are doing,"

"Is it working?" Rapunzel asked.

"I am feeling a little better, thank you,"

"All part of the job description," Merida nudged her gently.

"I can't thank you enough, for standing by me,"

"Stop it already." Merida sighed, "You've apologized enough. We'll get through this,"

"And Flynn-"

"Snow Queen, stop right there. Yes, things are a little tense between you, me and Kristoff, but what family doesn't have their squabbles? I met Jack face to face once, and while that is not enough of an indicator to judge what kind of person he is, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because you trust him. But that doesn't mean I have to like him.

"And even though he is a big participant in events for DreamWorks, he's never been one of those who likes to rub a victory in our faces, not like Alex or the Ogre. But I'm telling you now I will not, under any circumstances go on a double date with him. Nope, not going to happen. And I won't think twice about giving him a black eye if he hurts you in anyway,"

"I can live with those terms," Elsa smiled.

"Good, now that we got that out of the way, what are we going to do about our situation in school,"

"It's not as bad I thought it would have been," Rapunzel said.

"Did you miss the part where everyone hates us?" Flynn looked at her with raised eyebrows.

"Not everyone hates us. Tink and her friends are being really helpful. Hiro's gang as well,"

"Yeah, someone kept leaving those notes in our lockers." Merida said "Honey and Gogo found out it was Mike and they got him to lay off."

"And for the most part, most of the student body just seems to avoid us. It could have been way worst," Rapunzel said.

Kristoff walked back outside at this moment.

"Why can't she get I'm just trying to protect her,"

"Leave her be buddy," Flynn said, "We've all been under stress,"

"I'm sure she didn't mean to take it out on you," Rapunzel said.

"It's just how she's coping," Merida said.

"Kristoff have people really been bothering her that much?"

"She's definitely taking more heat than me during all this. She didn't want to tell you because she knows you'll worry,"

"She wasn't wrong," Elsa said, "I should talk to her," She moved to stand but Kristoff put a hand on her shoulder.

"Let her cool off. Talk to her later. Or she just might snap at you too,"

"Okay," Elsa nodded.

Kristoff sat down and Sven jumped up onto his lap, "This probably goes without saying but be careful in school."

"Yeah, that does kind of go without saying,"

"I know. But I mean, I overheard Dash mention Phoebus might be planning a prank of some sorts,"

"I wonder if Mulan is on our side," Merida wondered out loud.

"You think she'll be able to stop Phoebus?" Rapunzel asked.

"She's a mixed marital artist and is almost as good with a bow as Red," Flynn said, "I'm sure she could stop anyone she wants."

"True, but not what I'm talking about. She'd be able to convince Ling, Chen Po and Yao to pull a prank. Their some of the best pranksters in the school," Merida said.

"But it seems like Phoebus has that little speedster helping him. That kid knows how to pull of some classic pranks, and he's never been caught. All the stuff we know he did we only know because he told someone or his sister said he was behind it. And there are dozens of unclaimed pranks that he might have done,"

"We're going to pull any pranks, or get someone to pull pranks for us. We're not going to give them any reason to prove this more than it already is." Elsa said.

"So we just sit back and do nothing? I don't know, I still feel like we should be doing something,"

"I'm thinking about it," Elsa said.

"You are?" Merida asked.

"Do have any ideas?" Rapunzel asked.

"One or two, but they're not any good." She tried to stand and Merida helped her up, grabbed her crutches for her.

"Don't worry about it, we here for you, plan or no plan,"

Elsa listening to Kristoff's advice, waiting until later that day when they were back home to talk to Anna. She sat down next to her sister on her bed.

"So…"

"I know what you're going to say and no, I don't want to talk about it,"

"But we tell each other everything. I told you when I had feelings for a moony, and that's a big one,"

"Elsa, I don't want you worry. It's not a big deal. I like the others were saying, it's going to blow over in a couple days. Once the next big event comes up everyone is going to push this to the back of their minds,"

"But you're sure no one is trying to hurt,"

"Come on Elsa, you know them better than that. Okay, yes they want to be unreasonable and not see pass the rivalry. But that's it. The glue prank was clever but harmless. I'm going to be fine,"

"Going to be fine?"

"You know what I mean," Anna sat up and kissed Elsa on the cheek, "You don't have to worry about me. I'm a big girl and I can take care of myself." She stood and left the room. Elsa sighed and collapsed on the bed, wincing when her leg pained in protest to sudden movement. She carefully lifted it on to the bed then pulled out her phone.

She dialed a number, shifting the pillow under her head as it rang.

"Hey princess, have the revolts gotten any better?"

"Better? No, but they haven't gotten worst, so that's an upside…I guess. What about you?"

"Hiding out on top the gym seemed like a good idea at the time, but it landed Hic and I detention, and that means an hour after school with a couple of people who don't like us."

"They haven't tried anything? Have they?"

"Nah, Dois is the one who monitors Detention. Not even the worst behave students try anything when she's around. But we do receive a lot of cool stares. Like a lot. And Shrek's clique seems determined to find out what she demon curse you cast on me. They don't believe the only thing bewitching about you is your looks,"

Elsa chuckled softly.

"A laugh, I was wondering when I'd hear that again. You've been pretty somber any time we've talked recently,"

"I have? I'm sorry,"

"Don't be, it's understandable. I haven't been trying to get Aster to talk to me. He does want to see me. I managed to get North to sit and talk with me at least,"

"How'd that go?"

"After I explained myself he asked for some time to think about. He's still thinking, or assume he is since he hasn't called or tried to talk to me yet,"

"I think we need to talk,"

"Uh oh… I don't like the sound of that. Is this a 'we have to talk' talk?"

"I'm afraid it is," Elsa sighed.

"You want to break up,"

"No…yes…no. No, I don't. I really don't. But the thing is Anna's been getting a lot of hate and I just can't have that. I can't just sit back and let my sister take heat for something that's my fault. When their doing it to me that's fine, but not my sister. I have to do something.

"And us ending things is what you came up with it,"

"Don't deny you haven't taught about too,"

"No I haven't," Jack said. Elsa didn't respond, "Alright, it may have crossed my mind. But that's it. I didn't ponder on it. Because Elsa I l-like you. I really, really like you,"

"I like you too,"

"I don't what this to be the reason why we break up. Please,"

"I don't want things to end like this either. What if we stage a break up?"

"And what? Go back to how things were, where we were sneaking about?"

"Would that be so bad?"

"Elsa, I know how you feel, I do. You know I do. But even if we were to break up would that solve anything really? They still know we dated and their probably still going to give you and Anna hell for it."

Elsa sigh, "You're right, but what else can we do. I can't keep putting Anna and everyone through this. I just can't,"

"I may have an idea…"

"Which is?"

"Oh, Hiccup isn't going to like this,"

"Jack what are you thinking?" Elsa sat up, wishing she could see his face right now. "Jack, are you listening?"

"I'm sorry Elsa, you'll just want to talk me out of it,"

"If it's something I'm going to talk you out of then you probably shouldn't do it,"

"I've got to go make some calls, I'll talk to later,"

"Jack wait! Jack!" But he'd already hung up. She redialed right away. It rang until the voicemail came on. She tried again and this time someone answered.

"Hi Elsa!"

"Ellie, where's Jack?"

"He gave me his phone and said to talk to you,"

"Ellie give Jack the phone,"

"I can't,"

"Why not?"

"He said he's making plans and you can't talk to him right now,"

Elsa groaned, "Jack Frost what are you planning?"

I'm going to miss writing this story. I'm aiming to get the final chapter out by Friday.

Nardragon~ until the next page.
