Hello. I hope you enjoyed chapter 1! And now here's chapter 2! Enjoy it all! This is my own version of Boolia's chapter were the family discovers the diamond and goes to their play.
Meanwhile at the Flynn-Fetcher house, the family was getting ready to go to an opera called "The Pearl Fishers" in Downtown Danville. The father, Lawrence was putting a tuxedo on for the occasion. Phineas and his brother Ferb were in the living room, watching a movie called "Home Alone 3" on the TV. The boys each wore a black tuxedo. "This is hilarious!" exclaimed Phineas, "An 8-year-old boy just sprayed a robber in the eyes with paint! What about you Ferb? Do you think it's funny?" "No…it's just decent." said Ferb in his usual calm voice. Suddenly a "Breaking News" report came on.
"This is breaking news, with Kelly King!" the scene showed the "British History Museum" and a lady standing in front of a few police cars and 6 ambulances… "Hi. I'm Kelly King on scene of a major crime here! Just over 1 hour ago, a robbery took place. No one was killed, but all of the security guards suffered an injury each! A bruise was on each head when the police and paramedics arrived! The victims told us that the robbers hit them with a crowbar. One of the witnesses is willing to tell us what happened now!"
Kelly King walked over to a lady with blonde hair. The lady was holding a bag of ice on her head. "Would you mind telling us what you saw?" asked Kelly. "Well…" said the lady, "I was watching the camera monitors, and that's when I fell pain and went out cold!" "Did you see who did it?" asked Kelly, "No…" said the lady, "But I saw what was stolen when the paramedics arrive. The Danville Diamond case was smashed and the diamond itself was gone!" "Thank you!" said Kelly, "Now, we have some more info from the museum manager, Mr. Stinger.
The scene cut to a man in a suit, behind a podium, surrounded by cops and reporters. "My name is Mr. Stinger!" said the man, "I came back to get my jacket, and the first thing I noticed was an unlocked back door. I walked inside to check on the guards, and it…was horrible! They were all tied up, out cold, and each had a bruise on their head! So that's when I called 911 for help! The Danville Diamond might be stolen, but I'm offering a reward of 500,000 dollars to whoever finds the diamond and helps get the criminal who did this arrested!"
"Do you have a recording of the robbery?" asked a reporter. "No, the wires were cut when we checked!" said Mr. Stinger. The scene cut back to Kelly, "Thank you sir! If anyone out there finds the Danville Diamond, don't wait! Call 911 right away! And now back to your regularly scheduled program!" the scene changed back to the "Home Alone 3" film. "Wow!" said the mother Linda Flynn-Fletcher, "You thing that museums are more secure now since 9/11!" "I can't believe it myself!" said Phineas, shocked from the news. "I hope that whoever did this will be in jail for life!" said Lawrence, who had walked in and heard the TV news. "Hey…" said Phineas, "Where's Perry?"
In in the backyard, Perry was hiding behind the tree. He got off all 4 feet, stood, and slipped on a fedora. He knocked on the tree bark, and a hidden door opened up. He jumped into a tube, as the door closed up. One huge slide-tube ride later, he handed in his lair, on his chair by the huge screen, just like every morning in the summer! Major Monogram came on. "Good evening, Agent P!" he said like always, "Nothing from Dr. Doofemshmirtz is happening right now, but O.W.C.A agent R, saw a robbery at the Danville Museum 1 hour ago!"
"The perpetrators were Wet Bandits sir! They have a history of robbing private homes and trying to kill a young boy named Kevin McAllister!" said Carl, the nerdy intern off-screen. "Keep it down Carl!" said Major Monogram, who just hated to be interrupted. "Your job is to catch the Wet Bandits if you see them! But only do this if you are alone! Good luck!". Perry jumped off his chair, and went into a tubular elevator that led to a bed of flowers in the backyard…
As Perry climbed out of the flower bed, and took off his fedora, a light-blue plumbing van was driving by! Harry and Marv were in the front, driving and talking. Marv was now holding the diamond! The windows were wide open… But they did not notice the tortoise in the street… The tortoise quickly got into his shell as "BUMP!" the van drove over it! The sudden bump made Marv drop the diamond! "What the…Marv what did you do!" exclaimed Harry.
The diamond rolled down the street, to the right, into a hole in a backyard fence. At that point, Phineas was walking outside… "Oh, there you are Perry!" he said, as Perry walked on all fours, back to Phineas. At that point, a shiny object stopped at his feet! "What's this?" Phineas bent down and picked it up. "It's the diamond! Mom! Dad! Candace!" he picked up Perry, and walked into the living room...
"What's that?" asked Lawrence, seeing what Phineas was holding. He put Perry down, "It's the Danville Diamond!" "Were did you find it?" asked Linda, who came in, tying a purple sash around her dress. "It was in the backward. Whoever stole it must've dropped it!" "Let's call the cops, and get the money!" exclaimed Candace, who just finished tying a purple ribbon in her hair. "We can't right now!" said Linda, "We'll miss the opera if the cops come! They'll ask us so many questions!" "We can't just leave it here though!" said Phineas, "Someone could break in and steal it."
"We'll just have to have someone watch it for us!" said Linda. "I have an idea! I'll call Betty Jo and Clyde. They'll…oh I forgot, they're both out of town for the week!". "I'll call Isabella..." said Phineas, "She can bike over here and watch it for us!" he walked over to the telephone, picked up the receiver, and dialed Isabella's number. She answered it, "Hi Phineas! What-ca dooooing?" "Hello Isabella! I found the Danville Diamond! It was stolen but I found it!" "That's great Phineas!" exclaimed Isabella, "I just got done watching the news report!"
"But we can't turn it in to the police now!" said Phineas, "Our opera The Pearl Fishers, begins in an hour! So can you take your bike over here and watch it?" "Sure, I'll be happy to!" she said, "I'll be there as soon as I can!" "Great!" said Phineas, "I'll leave the key under the rug for you!" he hung up and walked back to the living room! "Isabella said that she'll be over here soon!" said Phineas. "Girls are always happy to help boys they are secretly in love with!" said Ferb to himself. "Well, you'll need to put your spare key under the rug for her." said Linda. "I already thought about it!" said Phineas.
He went upstairs to his room to get the key. As he entered his room, he noticed Perry relaxing on Ferb's bed. Phineas took his key and walked toward Perry. "Hey boy…" he said in a quiet voice, "Isabella will be here to watch over the Danville Diamond soon! So I need you to be a good little platypus and watch over it till she gets here! You can do it right?" Perry looked at Phineas and made his cute little chattering noise. "That's a good platypus..." he patted Perry on the head, before walking out of the room…
"Come on!" called out Lawrence, "We have to leave now!" Candace grabbed her cell phone and turned off the TV set. Phineas put the diamond on the dinning room table, and walked outside the front door, along with the rest of the family. He placed the key under the door mat, and Linda locked the front door. None of the family noticed the van, parked behind a couple of metal trash cans, as they all got into the car and buckled up. Then, Linda got in the front, closed her doors, and started the ignition…
"Great job Marv!" Harry said with anger, "You lost the diamond, and now it's somewhere inside that house!" "Yeah so?" asked Marv. "They'll call the cops and we'll be back in jail!" said Harry, filled with even more anger! "Wait…Harry look!" the family's car drove off down the road…"They're gone! Maybe the diamond is inside house!".
Harry thought for a moment, "Yeah, good thinking Marv! Let's sneak in there and get it back!" So Harry and Marv took out a crowbar each and they got out of the van… Meanwhile Perry could see them approach the house. Perry was not going to let 2 robbers break in and get the diamond! It was his house now and he had to defend it and the diamond too! He was an animal agent for crying out loud! Perry ran out of the bedroom, and ran downstairs to the living room…
There's chapter 2 for all of you! I'm super happy i'm finally writting my own version. My next chapter will include a TV trick, and some bobby traps. Only traps from "Home Alone", "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York", and "Home Alone 3" will be used. Thanks once again Boolia, for inspiration. I might be using your plot, but it's more detailed, uses "Home Alone" villains Harry and Marv (The Wet Bandits), and it will have more than 3 chapters! See you all later in chapter 3!
