Hello again. It's now time for chapter 7. Sorry about the delay. I've just been having some personal problems that I'm not going to get into at all! This next chapter is the second-best moment of any "Home Alone" movie or fan story moment…the climax. I won't spoil it for you readers, but let's just say it's not like "Home Alone" where Old Man Marley shows up with a snow shovel…
"You might have won the battle little dude…" said Marv smiling, "But you've lost the war!" Harry took out his gun and aimed it at Perry's stomach… "You ought to know not to mess with us pal…" said Harry, "We're dangerous!" He then, "CLICK!" clocked the gun, and put his finger on the trigger.
Perry's fedora suddenly fell off. Out came the diamond… Harry suddenly dodged for it as it fell toward the floor… Marv shook, nervous that it would smash into pieces. Suddenly, "WOOSH!" a hand scooped down and picked it up. Harry looked up and dropped his gun. Standing in front of them was a nerdy teenager. Perry smiled when he saw who it was…
He wore blue glasses, had curly brown hair and wore a white uniform. "Technically…" said the nerdy teenager, "Diamonds are super hard to break! They're one of the hardest minerals out there!" the 2 men let go of Perry and took a step back… "Carl…" called a voice from the back door, "Did you find the robbers?" a man stepped into the dining room... He had a white mustache, a green uniform, and had white hair. "Yes, yes I did sir!" said Carl, holding the diamond.
And now…a comedic filled heart touching moment. Please, don't cry!
"Agent P, are these the robbers?" asked Major Monogram. Perry stood up and nodded. "We're not robbers!" said Harry. "Yeah!" said Marv, "The family took the diamond! Harry and I were just trying to…get it back and turn it into the museum!" "I don't believe you!" said Major Monogram, "Agent P's family would never steal anything! Carl, Give me the diamond!" "NO! Give it to us!" said Harry, "We'll split the award money with you 50-50!" "Technically…" said Carl "There's 3 of us, and the money would need to be split up 3 ways!" "Don't give in Carl!" said Major Monogram, "They're trying to trick you! Remember who your real friends are!"
"Friends?" thought Carl…Carl now stood in the middle of the Wet Bandits and his boss Major Monogram. Every day, Carl did a lot of work at the agency. He wasn't a paid intern, despite his hard work. The 2 men were offering him a deal of a lifetime…money! Something that Major Monogram never gave him. "Maybe I should give it to these men!" said Carl, wanting payback for all of the hard work he did, but was never paid for. This was the time…he wanted to give in!
"You never paid me or thanked me for any the work I do at the agency!" said Carl with anger, finally expressing his feelings. "Now, I have an opportunity of a lifetime…to make some fast money!" he looked the robbers. Harry smiled and held out an open hand. Carl slowly approached him, holding out the diamond, ready to give in… Perry's eyes widened…he could not believe what he was seeing.
Even Major's son Monty, who had just walked in. "Dad…" he said covering his eyes in fear, "I can't look!". He held onto his had tightly… "Wait! Carl…" said Major Monogram in desperation. Carl stopped and held the diamond to his chest. He turned to face his boss, and his son Monty.
"I know that…well… I haven't been fair to you! I realize that now…but now I know!" he said, "I just want to say…I'm sorry for your minor mistreatment!" "Minor mistreatment?" asked Carl… "Okay, major mistreatment!" said Major Monogram, "Look Carl…I'm sorry! Thank you for all of your hard work at O.W.C.A!" Carl's eyes began to leak tears of joy…
"Here's the diamond sir!" said Carl through the tears! He turned around and gave the diamond to Major Monogram. "Thank you Carl!" said Major, "I knew that you'd make the right choice! You're now promoted to a paid intern!" Carl smiled at this thought…a paid intern. Who would have thought?
Harry reached down and picked up his gun! "Looks like we have a bunch of idiots!" said Harry pointing it at the three guys. Perry jumped off the table and backed up against the other guys. "Marv…" said Harry, "Get your crowbar out! You know what to do!" "What?" asked Marv confused. "KNOCK THEM OUT!" yelled Harry impatient.
Then, before any of the O.W.C.A workers could even attack the robbers back or run away, "BANG! BANG! BANG!" Marv whacked Carl, Monty, and Major Monogram in their foreheads with his crowbar. Perry was the only one who dashed off to hide at that moment because he heard footsteps outside…approaching front door. He hid under the sofa…
Marv got out his rope coil, and tied up the three guys together, Major Monogram was the only one that was not unconscious. Marv took the diamond out of Major's pocket and handed it to Harry. "We'll be on our way now!" said Harry. "Come on Marv… Let's leave these bozos here!" "You won't ever get away with this!" said Major Monogram; "Yes we will!" said Harry. "It seems that now you need to be knocked out again!" Harry took out his crowbar and raised it over his head, ready to hit Major again. That's when the front door opened up and a little girl stepped in…
Hello again. Hope you liked the twist. There was a real "Phineas and Ferb" episode where Carl wanted Major Monogram to say "Thank you." to him throughout the episode. So decided to incorporate that into the story, but in a different way by using money as opposed to wanting a simple "Thank you.". Well, I'll see you all in chapter 8!
