Okay, I 'am super happy. My first huge story is now coming to a wonderful close. Now that the Wet Bandits are gone you think my story is over right…WRONG! I have this chapter and one more to go! Then I'll have an entire pas with authors note about the traps used, the inspiration, the "Phineas and Ferb" show references, and my possible sequels. But for now…enjoy chapter 10! Warning…this one is emotional. (Includes a "Home Alone" background song)…

Later that night, Ferb was asleep in bed holding Perry under his arms. Linda and Lawrence were already asleep. Phineas was not in bed but downstairs, wearing his orange pajamas, and sitting at the dining room table looking at a photo of Isabella. He wasn't in love with her…but Isabella did secretly have a crush on him. But she never told him, or even ever had the chance. Phineas was just crying, hoping that she would be okay. That's when Candace walked out of her room… she was going to use the bathroom. But then she heard someone sob from downstairs. "It's Phineas…" she said quietly…

She could see that Phineas had a bunch of used tissues on the table, as well as a box still full of them! The wastebasket was already filled halfway with dirty tissues, For once in her life, she felt bad for Phineas and wanted to help. She failed to earlier when the cops were around, so she waited a while. Every day that summer, she tried to bust him and Ferb for building strange things in the backyard. But she could never do so despite her efforts. The only time she DID bust them was nothing but a nightmare she had!

(An imaginary orchestra conduction John Williams comes out of nowhere, wearing a tuxedo, not seen by any of the story's characters. He waves his music wand, allowing an imaginary orchestra to play a sad tune, along with an imageinary chorus…)

Background music playing: "O Holy Night" from "Home Alone"…

Phineas and Ferb had built things like a roller coaster, 2 rocket ships, a huge airplane, a giant cruise ship, robots that looked like themselves, a pair of teleporters, a portal to mars for Bailjet, a cool car wash, a platypus-themed restaurant, a giant robotic dog, a frozen yoghurt machine, a submarine, a shrink ray, and animal sound translator, a really scary haunted house, a rainbow machine, a really tall golf course, a giant robot of Linda, giant ice sculptures for a wedding, an elevator to the moon, a giant blimp for the "Father-Daughter Picnic" competition, a crazy water slide, the best wooden fort ever, a pirate ship, a race car arena, a giant robot of Perry, a giant batting cage, a huge ant farm, a new phone for Candace, a beach in the backyard a giant elevator to the moon, a huge animation studio, 2 awesome tree houses, and even a giant bowling ball! Now the inventor of those cool things was in tears, over a good friend ending up in the hospital…

Candace walked downstairs slowly… "Phineas…" she said, "Are you down here?" she asked. "Yes…I…I…I'm down here!" answered Phineas through his tears. "I…just wanted to check on you…" said Candace, as she approached the dining room table. She sat down next to him… "What's wrong?" she asked. Phineas looked up, wiping his tears with a tissue, "What do you think is wrong?" said Phineas, "Isabella has a concussion and it's all my fault!" he paused to blow his nose, "I should have never called Isabella to come watch over the diamond! I should have just called the police when…when…WHEN WE LEFT!" he bent down, crying again. His eyes were now pink from the tears, and they were still dripping down from his face.

Candace really had sympathy for him now...especially when so far this summer all she cared about was busting him and Ferb. She hugged him again… "There, there…" said Phineas, hugging him tightly, "It'll be alright… Isabella is in the hospital…" "How do you know?" asked Phineas wiping his tears with another tissue, "You're not a doctor!" He now hugged onto to Candace more tightly now… "I might not be a doctor…" said Candace in a quiet and calm voice, "But I do know this: crying about Isabella's injury isn't going to help. The doctors know what to do to help here. So she'll be fine…please don't cry. I'm here for you now!" "You promise?" asked Phineas, through his tears. Candace smiled, "Yes…I promise!" she said still hugging him…

The background music stops playing…

(John Williams, the entire orchestra, and the chorus leaves the story without being seen by any of the story's characters…)

Then there was a pause… For 1 whole minute, neither Candace nor Phineas said another word. Candace just continued to hug Phineas and try her best to help him through this. Then, Phineas spoke "You're right Candace…" the tears dried up from his eyes, "I'm happy you're here!" so for another 2 minutes Candace hugged Phineas and he hugged Candace back. He then kissed Candace on her cheek, like most siblings do in times of bad events. "Good night Candace." He said, walked out of the dining room. "Goodnight Phineas…" Candace said back.

After cleaning up the dirty tissues, Candace went back to sleep in her room, holding her Ducky Momo doll. Phineas got up out of bed and walked up to his window, being careful not to wake up Ferb. He held his hands together and looked up at the star-filled sky. The moon was now full and glowing like a glow stick at a Halloween party. Crickets were chirping through the night. "Please God…" said Phineas, praying, "Please help me now in this hard time. I love you with all of my heart. Please…don't let Isabella die…she's my friend. Please heal her with all your mighty power…the same power that created the world we all live in today! Your son Jesus died on the cross for our sins…I just want Isabella to live. Please help my lord…amen!" he then walked back to his bed, got into it, covered himself with a blanket, and fell asleep…

That was chapter 10. I thought it would be nice for Candace, a teenager sister usually obsessed with busting the boys, to comfort Phineas in the time of a serious event. I just thought Candace should take a break from ignoring the problem and busting Phineas and Ferb.

Hope you liked the 4th wall John Williams joke. It was…a sad one. In real life John Williams composed the theme music for "Home Alone" and "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York". See you in chapter 11…
