*About six months later*

Percy

Percy was sitting on a bench in the middle of Olympus, thinking. He seemed to do that allot lately; sitting and thinking. Goldilocks laid at his feet, eyes closed but obviously not asleep. She had become a permanent addition to his new life. Wherever he was she wasn't far behind. Dave was off at camp half blood. Percy normally sent him to check up on the campers, even though he knew they were fine, he must do it for closure and probably to still feel like a part of the camp still. But in the back of his mind he knew the only way he'd really be a part of it anymore is if he had a demi-god, or if he somehow became a counsellor like Dionysus.

A group of nymphs walked past, saw him and burst into giggles. Sighing he waved at them, causing them to go into a more violent giggle fit. Smiling at them he closed his eyes and soaked in the rays of the sun. Apollo was away doing something. Probably annoying his sister. Otherwise Percy would be with him, learning something or other from the sunny god.

Once he felt the nymphs presence disperse he let the smile he'd been holding drop with his mood.

Why so miserable? Goldilocks asked, now sitting beside him on the bench. He decided not to question how she got up there. Allowing her to rest her head in his lap he replied.

"Just bored…" He looked around before continuing on "I mean, this place is lovely and all but I just want to go out to the mortal world again"

She nodded, playing therapist. Her head suddenly jerked up.

Why don't you?

"Because I'm afraid…" It felt sort of weird to be pouring his guts to a dog, but it made him feel better.

Of what? Is the big bad god afraid?

He glared down at her and she sunk down.

"No, I'm not… Just I don't want to kill anyone"

She nodded in understanding.

Then find a god willing to take you to the mortal world.

Looking down doubtfully at her he replied.

"And how do I find them?"

Don't ask me, you're the god around here.

Chuckling he got to his feet and began his long trek to find somebody to take him to the mortal world with Goldilocks trotting along beside him.
