"I'm glad you met him" Lex blurts suddenly as we're watching the film. "Channing Tatum?" I ask, frowning at the screen. "No dipshit!" she squeals. "Jon. I'm glad you met. Lor, I've gotta be honest, I've never seen you so happy." "I don't think I've ever been this happy" I admit. "Strange how some things work out, isn't it? I mean, this whole thing started out as a lie, now look at us. I can't imagine my life without him. I don't want to." "I don't want to imagine you without him either" she says. "Perfect couple." I smile. "How many beers have we had?" I ask. She laughs. "Few too many maybe" she says, stifling a yawn. I stand up quickly, falling back onto the sofa. "Ok, definitely a few too many" she laughs. "Come on. Let's get to bed." I nod and let her pull me up. I switch the tv off and follow her to her room. "Night Lex" I whisper. "Thanks for coming over." She shakes her head. "No thanks necessary" she says hugging me. "Besides, now I get to catch up with the guys." I laugh. "Jon has house shows this weekend" I say. "Maybe we'll go. I'm not scheduled until the Raw taping." She nods, yawning again. I get the hint and nod towards my room. "I'm gonna go wait for my husband" I say. "See you in the morning." She nods and I close the door, heading into my room and flopping on the bed fully clothed. I'm asleep before my head even hits the pillow.

"Shit!" he hisses, waking me up. I lie still, listening to him fumbling his way around the bedroom, wincing for him as he stubs his toe on the dresser. "Fucking women's furniture" he grumbles. "Like I'd need a dresser if it wasn't for my wife. My wife. Ah fuck. I love my wife. Lora. Lora? Did you hear that? I love you." "I think the whole apartment block heard it Jon" I groan. "And I love you too. Now could you please stop kicking things and come to bed?" "Kinda pissed babe" he slurs. "Can't find the bed." I groan and turn the bedside lamp on. "Better?" I ask as he shields his eyes from the light. "No!" he yells. "I'm fucking blind Lor!" I get off the bed and stumble over to him, helping him pull the shirt the rest of the way over his head. "There" I say kissing him. "Not blind, just stuck in your shirt. Now bed. Please?" He nods, slipping his jeans and boxers off in one movement. I go and get a drink of water from the bathroom, and by the time I go back in the bedroom he's snoring. I turn the lamp off and settle on the bed, smiling as he reaches for me in his sleep. His breathing soon settles me and I'm asleep too.

Lex and I are drinking coffee on the balcony when he finally surfaces the next morning. "Morning" Lex says cheerfully. He grunts a reply, pouring himself a coffee and drinking half of it before walking out to us. "Morning babe" he says kissing me. "Morning" I whisper, looking up at him. Lex frowns. "I get a grunt" she says. "You get Mr Pleasant. What did I do?" "Spoke before he'd had caffeine" I laugh. "I learnt that lesson pretty fast." "Good morning Alexa" Jon says sweetly, kissing her on the head before sitting down with us. "What time do we need to leave?" I ask. He groans. "Soon" he says. "Need to be at the arena by six. It's a few hours drive." Lex groans and stands up. "Better pack some clothes" she says, stretching and yawning. "I guess it's a hotel tonight?" Jon nods and watches as she walks off. "She ok?" he asks. I shrug. "I guess" I say. "I think she's still feeling a bit awkward after yesterday. She'll be ok when she gets to the arena and catches up with everyone." He smiles. "Come on Mrs Good" he says, standing up and pulling me up. "Time to go get ready. Lots to do today." I nod and let him lead me into the bedroom. He throws his bag on the bed and groans. "Pack for me, wife" he demands. "I need to go shower." I nod and kiss him, watching as he disappears into the bathroom. It doesn't take long until he's singing away under the spray. I smile and grab him some clothes, throwing them in the bag before getting dressed and heading into the lounge to wait for him.

"You ok?" I ask Lex as she walks into the lounge. She nods, sitting down to wait for Jon to finish getting ready. "Yeah" she sighs. "I guess, I mean, I'm really sorry for yesterday. I nearly fucked things up for you." I shake my head. "No you didn't" I say. "It's my fault too. I guess I should have told him about, well, everything. I just didn't think it would come up that way." She's about to speak when Jon walks out, carrying the bag. "Ladies" he says. "Are we ready?" Lex nods and grabs her bag, smiling as Jon takes it from her. "Alexa" he says. "It's all good, ok?" She nods slightly. "Good" he says, smiling and opening the door. "Road trip!" He runs to the car and Lex watches him go. "You got a good one there Lor" she says following him out the door. "Don't fuck it up."
