Finn grabs my arm as I start to get off the bed. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to" he warns. I nod. "I know" I say. "But he's making enough noise out there to wake the dead. It's easier this way. Back me up?" Finn nods and gets off the bed, adjusting his jeans and shirt. I wait until he's ready then open the door, unprepared for Jon leaning against it and falling in backwards. I leave him on the floor and sit on the sofa, watching as he struggles to get up. Great, someone's been drinking all night. He manages to get up finally and shuts the door before glaring at Finn. "Balor. Leave." he spits. Finn looks at me and I shake my head. "Finn stays" I say, unable to keep the tremor out of my voice. "If anyone is leaving it's you. I've got nothing to say to you." "So why let me in?" he asks. "Grow up Jon" I yell. "Letting you in doesn't mean I want to speak to you. It just means there are people still sleeping, and I don't wanna get thrown out of here! I need a bed until Tuesday!" "You have a bed" he says. "At our hotel. In our room." "Nothing is ours, Jon" I hiss. "It's all yours, and you can shove it right up your ass as far as I'm concerned. I want nothing from you. The sooner Monday comes and I can start travelling with Finn the better. Now, you're wasting everyone's time by being here. Nothing you have to say interests me. Leave." He looks at me, then back at Finn. Finn doesn't look at him, he stares at me instead. I nod slowly, letting him know I'm ok. "I think you should go, Ambrose" Finn says softly. "Go sleep, sober up. We'll see you at the arena later." "Don't" Jon warns, pointing in Finn's face. "Don't you dare tell me what to do, tell me to leave so you can stay shacked up here with my wife..." "Oh will you just go dial 1-800 who gives a fuck?" I yell. "Get the fuck outta here Ambrose! I'm not your property!" He glares at me before opening the door. He opens his mouth as if he's going to speak, then closes it again, walking out and slamming the door behind him.
"You ok?" Finn asks quietly. I nod, smiling at him. "Better than I thought I'd be" I admit. "I, uh, need to go grab some stuff from the hotel" he says. "Ok" I say. He groans. "I don't wanna leave you alone Lor" he says. I smile. "I'm a big girl Finn" I say. "Go. I'll be fine. I'll take a shower, grab some breakfast. I'll keep myself busy. Tell you what, I'll see you at the arena tonight, you don't have to come back here, ok?" "But, I..." he starts. I shake my head. "I don't need a babysitter Finn" I say, standing up and hugging him. "You being here last night probably saved me from running back to him. But I'm good now. I'm stronger. I promise." He sighs, nodding finally. "Ok" he says. "But any problems and I better be the first one you call." "Always" I say kissing his cheek. He nods and leaves, waving before closing the door.
Hunter pulls me to one side as soon as I set foot in the arena. "We gonna have a problem tonight?" he asks. I smirk. "Hunter" I say. "We have a problem every night. But, if you really meant is there gonna be a problem with me working with my so called husband, absolutely not. I'm a professional. I can do this." He nods, smiling at me. "Good" he says, looking like he is fighting a battle within himself. "Uh Lora, come here." I watch as he holds his arms open, and man, do I need a hug right now. I let him pull me to him and hug me tightly. "I think we got off on the wrong foot" he says finally. "Fresh start, ok?" I nod, wiping my eyes. Stupid tears. "I, uh, better go find somewhere to get changed" I say. He nods and points down the corridor. "Lex is down there" he says. "She has your stuff from the hotel. Jon wouldn't give it up without a fight, and she gave him one hell of a fight." I smile. "That's my Lex" I say, excusing myself and walking down the corridor.
"Hey girlfriend!" Lex calls as I walk towards her and Dolph. I smile and run the rest of the corridor. "Damn girl!" she grins. "How the fuck can you run in those heels?" "I'm a diva" I shrug. "It's my job. Hunter said you have my stuff." She nods, pointing at Dolph's locker room. "Safe in there" she says. "Go get your mean on then come out here, eat something with us." I nod and make my way into the locker room, closing the door and locking it behind me. I grab my Shield gear and get changed, tie my hair up like Colby before heading back out to Lex and Dolph. "I'm just gonna head to makeup" I say. "Won't be long." Lex nods and stands up. "I'll come with you" she says. I nod and wait for her to catch up. "What happened at the hotel?" I ask as we walk. "Oh nothing" she smirks. "Ok, something. He tried to tell me he'd bring your stuff for you and give it to you himself. I basically pushed him on his ass and grabbed it myself. Wasn't hard, dude been drinking all night. Hunter had told him he's not wrestling tonight, he looks like shit Lor." I nod. "His problem" I say, smiling at the makeup girl as I sit in the chair. Lex doesn't say anything until we're walking back to catering. "Do you miss him?" she blurts suddenly. I groan. "It's been one night Lex" I say, sliding onto the bench next to Dolph. "Hasn't really registered yet, you know?" "There she is!" a voice calls. I turn around just as Finn runs up to me. "Hey" he says, smiling. "Wanna walk?" I look at Lex and she frowns at me. I shake my head. "Just gonna grab something to eat" I say. "I think we're close to the start of the show, I had to get ready early." Finn nods. "Ok" he says. "I'm not interfering in that tonight apparently. Saving it all for Raw tomorrow." "Finn" Lex says. "A group of us are going out tonight, you coming?" He looks at me before answering. "Sure" he says. "Why not?"
