"Lora?" he calls as soon as he's inside the hotel room. I smirk, walking out of the bathroom still cleaning my teeth. "Fuck, I missed you!" he groans, running to me and picking me up. He takes the toothbrush from me and throws it into the bathroom, ignoring the foam around my mouth and kissing me hungrily. "Mmmmm" he moans as we break apart. "Minty." I smile. "I missed you too dumbass" I whisper, kissing him again. He smiles. "Always full of compliments" he says. "No wonder I married you!" I laugh and kiss him softly. "I love you Ambrose" I say. "Show me, Ambrose" he whispers back.
So, naturally, I show him. We don't leave the bed for the whole day. He orders room service and we eat in bed watching tv. Finally, it's time to start getting ready to head to the arena. I've just finished packing his ring gear while he showers when there's a knock at the door. I drop his bag and answer it quickly. "Hey Finn" I say, smiling and stepping back to let him in. "Hey" Finn says, kissing my cheek and walking in to the room. "Jon!" I call shutting the door. "The tyrant is here!" Finn laughs, sitting on the sofa. "So you were listening then" he says looking at me. "I was allowed" I say, checking I've packed Jon's knee pads. "You're not such a tyrant after all." He grins and we both look at the bathroom door as it opens. "Lor?" Jon calls. "Have you seen my... Never mind, I've got it." He grabs his phone off the table and waves it at me. "Need to call Colby and Joe" he explains. "Find out what time we leave for the arena." "Ten minutes" Finn says. "We leave in fifteen. You guys are meant to be in the lobby when Lora and I get down there." Jon nods, putting his phone down. "Guess I don't need to call them" he says heading back into the bathroom to get dressed. I stare after him. "Earth to Lora" Finn calls. "Come in, Lora." "Huh? What?" I ask, looking at him quickly. "Jeez Lor" Finn groans. "Anyone would swear you haven't seen your husband half naked before!" I laugh. "Sorry" I say. "He just, he takes my breath away, you know?" Finn nods. "Yeah" he says, looking at me wistfully. "It's happened to me a few times lately too. Not with Jon, of course..." "Yeah yeah" I laugh, punching his arm playfully. He groans and puts me in a headlock. We're still play fighting when Jon comes out.
"Balor" he growls. "Quit manhandling my wife would you? We're not at the arena yet." Finn lets me go quickly. "Sorry" he says quietly. Jon groans. "I didn't mean it badly" he says. "I know you guys have to work together, and you're close. I just, don't like to see how close, ok?" Finn nods and I walk to Jon. "You have nothing to worry about" I whisper, kissing him. "You, and only you, are my life. I love you." "I love you too" he whispers back. "I'll see you in the lobby for more of my possessive husband shit." I smile, kissing him once more before letting him go to pick his bag up. "Catch you downstairs Balor" he says, opening the door. Finn nods and Jon waves before making his way to the elevator. The doors open and I hear Colby and Joe talk to him as he gets in. I smile and wait for the door to close before talking to Finn.
"I hate what this storyline is doing to him" I say quietly. "What it's doing to us. He's been so insecure today, apart from the media rounds he's been by my side constantly." Finn nods. "It's not for long" he says. "We have a mixed tag against him tonight, then at Raw you start sabotaging my matches." I nod, I've already heard about this side of the storyline from Jon. "Mixed tag against him and who?" I ask, not even needing to hear the answer. Finn looks at me, gulping visibly before answering. "Summer Rae" he says quietly. I nod, I'd suspected as much. "It's ok" I say, throwing some ring gear into a bag quickly. "Come on, let's go get this lobby confrontation over with." He grabs my arm as I start to open the door. "Calm down" he says. "It's a storyline, nothing more. Everyone can see the guy is crazy about you. You've got nothing to worry about Lora." I nod. "Come on" I say, pulling the door open wider and waiting for him to step out. We take the stairs to the lobby, hearing the excited chatter before we round the corner.
Finn looks at me quickly before grabbing my arm and pulling me through the doors. "Quit stalling" he growls. I try hard not to laugh, knowing this is important for the storyline. Jon, Joe and Colby look at us as we come into view. "Get your hands off her Balor" Jon growls, taking a step towards us. Joe and Colby hold him back. I take a step towards him but get pulled back by Finn. "Dean!" I yell trying to shake Finn off. Finn shakes his head, pulling me through the lobby to the car. "Nicely done" he says as we get in. "Bit of emotion never killed anyone." I grin. "No offence Finn" I say as he drives out of the parking lot. "But I cannot wait until this storyline is over."
