Hunter and Stephanie look up as we walk into the office. "Thanks for coming guys" Hunter says, smiling at us. "Go on, sit. I've a feeling this could take a while." I groan. "You've spoken to Joe and Colby, right?" I ask. He nods slowly. "We have" he confirms. "And, as crazy as it sounds, we agree. We've given creative the rundown on it. Expect new scripts for tonight..." "Tonight?" I ask. Hunter nods. "No time like the present Lora" he says. "With you adamant about not renewing your contract with us, time is of the utmost importance. We don't have long left to play this out." Jon squeezes my hand and I nod. "We're on different schedules for house shows..." I start. Stephanie shakes her head. "We've changed that" she says, sliding an envelope across to me. "This is your new schedule Lora. Well, obviously it's the same as the guys in some parts, in others we're having you in singles matches with Paige." I nod slowly, taking it from her. "Are we done here?" I ask, standing up. "I, uh, need to go prepare myself to divorce my guys." Hunter smiles. "Lora" he says. "It's only a storyline. If you're not comfortable, we can change it, lord knows we've changed plenty of things Jon hasn't been comfortable with over the last two years." Jon grins and nods. "True" he says, looking at me. "But Lora knows this is what we need to do. Don't you babe?" I nod, taking a deep breath. "I'll see you in the locker room" I say, kissing him before grabbing the envelope and walking out.

"How did it go?" Denise asks quietly as I walk into the divas locker room. I groan and sit on the bench next to her. "Honestly" I say. "I'm not looking forward to tonight at all. But hey, enough about me, why are you in here and not with Nick?" "Figured you might need a friend" she says, glancing over at the other side of the room. I follow her gaze and groan. Summer. "Happy are you?" she spits, walking over. "Renee can't even visit me at work anymore because of you." "No Summer" I say, standing up and squaring up to her. "Renee can't visit you at work anymore because of Renee. Besides, does it count as visiting when she's at every single arena we go to? She never turned up this much even when she worked here! She was doing it to piss me off, and you know what? It finally worked. But she didn't get the reaction she wanted, did she? She wanted me to hit her, but I'm not going to lose my job over that tramp." Summer looks at me in surprise. "Lora" she says. "You can't talk about her like that when she's not here to defend herself." "Exactly my point, Summer" I say. "See, if she hadn't been such a tramp, she would still have a job here and I wouldn't have a problem with her. But she couldn't accept the fact that Jon is married and it's not to her. Did she think she could change him or something? Make him into the perfect husband, what she wanted him to be? Because I can tell you now, he is the perfect husband. And he's my perfect husband." I grab my bag and smile at Denise. "Thank you" I whisper. She grins. "My pleasure" she says, standing up. "I'll walk with you. I think it's time I told Nick how much I love him." I smile and link my arm through hers. "Lead the way, future Mrs Nemeth" I say, pulling the door open.

"There you are!" Jon says, rushing to take my bag from me as I walk into the locker room. "I was getting worried!" "I'm ok Jon" I say, letting him hug me tightly. "I just went to see Denise. Oh, and Summer." "Uh oh" he says, stepping back and looking at me. "Tell me she's still in one piece." I nod. "Just told her a few home truths that she can report back to sweet little Nay Nay" I say, smiling sweetly. I don't wait for him to answer before going through my bag to find my ring gear. "I'm just gonna get changed" I say, kissing him and walking into the bathroom.

"Lora!" he calls, banging on the door a few minutes later. "The script is here!" I groan, checking my makeup before opening the door. He hands me an envelope and I flop on the sofa, tearing it open quickly. "This seems ok" I say, handing it to him to read. He looks at me. "This is really happening" he says quietly. "My wife is going to turn on me tonight, turning The Shield face and herself heel all in one move. This is really fucking happening doll." I nod. "Indeed it is" I say, cupping his face in my hands. "So you'd better kiss me and make the most of it." "Oh doll" he moans. He has literally just touched his lips to mine when the door bursts open. "Have you guys seen the script change?" Joe asks, flopping next to us. "I mean, talk about a rush job..." "It's fine Joe" I say, pulling away from Jon and looking at him. "I mean, if it didn't happen tonight, I think I'd have second thoughts about it altogether." He nods slowly. "You're right" he says quietly. "It's going to be weird though. I mean, it's taken ages for me to get used to you being in the group, and now this is happening. I mean, really happening." I nod, patting his knee. "We can still be friends though, right?" I ask, smirking. "Baby girl" he says, pulling me into his arms. "Not being friends with you isn't even an option." "Glad to hear it big guy" I whisper, kissing his cheek.
