"Ask me not to go Jon" I beg as we walk along the corridor. He shakes his head, lifting my hand to his mouth and kissing it softly. "Not on your life, Lora" he says quietly. "Girl time is what you need. Being around us guys constantly, it's not good for you..." "It is!" I say quickly, stopping in my tracks. "Being around you is exactly what I need! You're my husband Jon! I love you! I need you, I need to be with you, to hear that you want to be with me too..." "And you will, I promise" he says, kissing me softly. "I will tell you forever just how much I love you Lora. Never, ever, forget how much I love you, ok? But you need to go out with Layla. Just for a few hours. I'll be waiting at the hotel, just me and Gerald. We're gonna bond tonight, I can feel it. Few beers and he's all mine. Until you come in. Then I'm all yours." "That bed better be warm Ambrose" I warn. He nods, crossing his heart. "Scouts honour" he says, raising three fingers. "Well, just the one side of it, anyway, cos that's all we need, right?" "Absolutely" I whisper, pulling him down to me. He moans loudly and backs me against the wall, rubbing himself against me as he kisses me needily. "Damn Lora" he groans, finally pulling away from me. "You're gonna have me giving this whole girls night second thoughts if you don't go now..." "Good" I whisper, pulling him back to me. "I want you to have second thoughts..." "Go, Lora" he whispers, kissing me once more. I groan as he takes my hand and leads me out to the car.
The driver looks up as we approach the car. There's no sign of Layla. "You for Lora?" Jon asks. The driver hesitates for a second then nods, smiling as Jon opens the door. "There you go" he says, holding my bag as I get in then handing it to me before kissing me softly. "I'll see you later" he whispers. "I love you. Call me when you're on your way back." I nod before groaning. "Oh babe" I say. "I forgot to charge my phone. It's dead. I'll use Layla's, ok?" He nods and kisses me once more. "Drive safely" he warns the driver. "You've got extremely precious cargo there. Guard her with your life." "As you wish, Sir" the driver says, avoiding eye contact with him. I smile. Jon is kind of intimidating. I watch as he blows me a kiss and heads back into the arena. As soon as the door closes the driver gets out and closes my door. "But Layla" I say as he gets back in and starts the car. He smirks at me as he starts to pull off. "Layla ain't getting in this car darling" he sneers. "This is all for you." Panic sets in as I start to fumble for the door handle. I know it's going to hurt, jumping from a moving car, but I get no further than that thought. The door handles are missing. So is the window lever. This is wrong. "What are you doing?" I ask as he slams the brakes on just around the corner. Before he can answer me the door is pulled open and a guy dressed all in black slides in next to me.
"Help!" I yell, hoping that someone can hear me. Big mistake. I'm rewarded with a fist to the mouth for my troubles. "Did you get her phone?" the new guy asks the driver. He shakes his head. "It's dead" he says. "She has to use someone else's to call loverboy when she's on her way home." They both laugh. "Pity she's not going home, isn't it sweetheart?" the guy asks, rubbing my cheek. I don't care anymore if anyone can hear me, I start screaming and screaming. A sharp pain in my thigh makes me scream even more, but just for a few seconds. "That's better" the driver says. The guy next to me laughs. "Peace and quiet" he says as I drift off.
I feel myself being lifted out of the car when we finally stop, but I don't have the strength to even open my eyes. I drift off again as I'm carried. A blade against my thigh stirs me, though I don't know how long has passed. A moan escapes my lips as I feel my clothes being cut off. "Enough!" a voice says before laughing. "Damn, no wonder Ambrose is so infatuated with her! Leave her for tonight, let her come around. This is no fun while she's unconscious." I stir again. "Jon" I whimper. That evil laugh again. "Call for your Jon all you like Lora" he says spitefully. "He's not going to save you now. Nobody is. Come on. Leave her." It takes a few moments but the slamming of what sounds like a heavy door reaches my ears. Only then do I open my eyes. A cage. I'm in a cage. I look around as my eyes adjust to the darkness. My clothes are in shreds on the floor. I have a blanket and a bowl of water. Water. Damn I'm so thirsty. I start to drink before even thinking what they could have put in it. I grab the blanket and curl up on the floor. My bag. Shit. Where's my bag? I see it thrown in the corner and crawl to it. I lied to Jon. My phone has some charge in it, enough for a text message as long as I turn it off afterwards. "Help me" I send.
