Chapter 48: A Dish Best Served Cold

A long time ago there was a Prince of Spiders. He was cunning, strong, brutal, and somewhat arrogant. He would always do whatever he pleased because he believed that obeying his father; King Webs would make his life boring. He did attend the Mob Festival like every other Mob and basically did whatever he did in order to win which he was never able to do.

One day however was very surprising. The Spider Prince was banished of from his family for disobeying his father and harming his two sisters multiple times. He was of course cast away and was forcibly turned into his Spider Form for his entire life. Filled with Rage and Anger for his banishment he destroyed two villages, killed many wild animals, Minecraftians, and even mobs from his kind and others in his path. On his strolls he encountered a family of three humanoid spiders. One of course being a young man, the other being a beautiful young woman, and lastly a 9-year-old boy.

Feeling a sense of rage to see their happiness he went to kill them. He was successfully able to create a gruesome wound on the female Spider and swung at the male spider that tried to attack but failed. He then had his sites on the boy who looked at the two adults who were severely wounded and then looked at the Spider Prince. The Spider Prince lunged at the young boy with his mouth open revealing an assortment amount of tiny fangs while his two frontal fangs went to pierce his skin but when he did he felt his head get pierced by the young boy's claws. The Spider Prince was stunned and because of the blow he was motionless. He then watched at the Spider boy then took his hand out of his head and shoved it in there again making it pierce through his skull and stabbing his brain.

Pain surged through his entire body for five seconds but stopped as he fell to the ground with a thud and laid motionless as blood came out of his cranium.

(Present Time)

"I'm so happy to see you little sis. How have you been?" Kratos said with a smile.

Willow didn't answer him nor did she want to speak anymore. Her body was filled with fear seeing her brother or former brother alive. Kai averted his gaze to look at Willow to ask her a question but he saw her shaking in fear. He then glared at Kratos to see him still having a grin on his face and began to grit his teeth.

"Aw what's wrong Willow? Don't cha want to give your big brother a hug?" Kratos snickered.

"Sh-shut up! You're not my brother anymore nor will you ever be my brother!" Willow hissed.

Kratos shook his head and in a flash he was behind both Willow and Kai. The two spun around to see Kratos and Kai tried kicking him but Kratos avoided it and backhanded him across the face making him drop Silk who fell on the ground with a thud. Kai then crashed into a nearby tree and dropped to the ground with his head dropped down towards the ground.

"KAI!" Willow shouted.

Willow started rushing to Kai but Kratos grabbed her wrist and forced her onto him.

"Where do you think your going Willow? Don't you wanna spend some time with your Big Bro?" Kratos said.

Willow turned her head and glared at Kratos before punching in the face but he barely even turned. Willow then began to feel a pain shoot through her fingers and pulled it back and winced in pain which made Kratos grin.

"Aw…did my little sis hurt her hand when she tried to hurt me? How sad." Kratos snickered.

Willow glared at Kratos but he scoffed it off and grabbed the back of her head and forced her neck towards him. He then opened his revealing his small sharp fangs but then they suddenly grew longer and sharper. Willow tried to struggle out of his grip but the way how he had her was nearly impossible. He then pulled his head back dove for Willow's neck but before he could make contact with it he was punched dead in the face which sent him flying a good few feet away from Willow. Willow immediately turned to see Kai's face seething with anger.

"K-Kai…" Willow whimpered.

"Willow…get Silk and get to the Spider castle. I'm going to kill this guy!" Kai said.

Willow didn't answer Kai when he said that and watched as he walked off rather slowly. She only watched as the guy she liked was going to fight her brother but…she was scared. She was then startled to see him stop and he turned to her with a smile.

"Don't worry Willow. I'll be alright so don't be scared." Kai said.

He then dashed off leaving Willow who just gazed off at him until he left. Seeing him gone Willow quickly approach Silk and picked her up and ran back to the Spider castle as she looked at Silks face to see her sweating. She then placed her hand on Silks head and was shocked to feel her burning up which forced Willow to stop.

"Oh no." Willow said.

Kratos landed with a thud on the ground but got back up with a pissed off look on his face. He then felt a presence and turned to his left to see Kai appear from out of a tree.

"So…your pathetic human ass has been getting stronger during the years huh you brat!" Kratos said.

Kai kept quiet and kept his gaze on Kratos. This made Kratos a little irritated and he seemed to growl rather softly.

"What's wrong, Ocelot got your tongue? If not the talk you bastard!" Kratos said angrily.

Ka didn't answer again and began to crack his knuckles. Kratos was now irritated but seemed to understand why Kai wasn't talking. A smile soon formed on his face and he spoke once more to the Human-Spider boy.

"Ah…I see. Your worried about that brat of a sister huh. I'll tell you this, what I've done to her will kill her and its all our fault anyways." Kratos sneered.

Within a second Kai was already in front of Kratos with a death glare which surprised him a little. Kratos tried moving but Kai grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him towards him until he got punched in the face. He then let go of his collar and kicked him on the side of his face which sent him flying but he was stopped when webbing wrapped around his leg. Kai then used the webbing on his hand and flung him into the air before throwing it down to the ground making Kratos crash with a loud explosion. Kai began to growl uncontrollable after what Kratos said and glared angrily at the giant dust cloud where Kratos landed at. The dust cloud slowly dispersed revealing an unscratched Kratos who just smiled at Kai.

"What!?" Kai said with shock.

"My…I guess I was wrong. You may seem and act stronger but you're still weak. So sad that this won't be a fun fight as I thought I would be." Kratos said with a grin.

Kratos then dashed at Kai and sent a flurry of jabs at him with his nails extended. Kai evaded quickly as he saw that Kratos was planning on stabbing him. Seeing that Kratos was fast Kai leaped away from the Former Spider Prince and landed a few ways on the ground. Kai then felt something warm on his face and motioned his hand to rub where he felt the warmness. He then pulled his hand away from his face and looked at it to find blood which shocked him.

"What…how!? I didn't even feel him touch me so how am I bleeding." Kai thought.

Before Kai could even react he felt a presence to his side and turned his head only to get kicked on the side of the face by Kratos who rushed him when he was in deep thought. He then watched as Kai's body tumbled to the ground and laid face down in the dirt as he laid there motionless. Kratos only grinned wildly and approached Kai with the intent to rip his corpse to shreds.

"What's the matter Spudera? Are we worried about that stupid little girl and that bitch of a sister that ran home to daddy? Are we just dying right here after a simple kick to the side of the face?" Kratos said.

He then stopped by Kai's body and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and lifted him up revealing his face. His eyes were closed and he had a massive gash on his face after getting kicked by Kratos and blood oozed out of the wound.

"Since your dead anyways I'll tell you a secret you stupid little kid. I'm going to pay my family a visit and when I do it will be a bloody family reunion. The guards would all be dead, many of the staff that are loyal to my so called "Dad" will be all over the castle and when I get to my father…heh he'll try to fight me and the old man will die with ease. His daughter would be next and those two will have a slow painful death." Kratos sneered.

Kai didn't make any movement as he still laid limb in Kratos's grasp which made the spider continue.

"Silk will be first and…let me just say that she will be crying and pleading for me to stop. I'm going to break every single bone in her frail body and then I'm just going to smear her stupid little face all over the castle until she had no head. Lastly will be Willow. After she watches me kill that little brat she'll have the slowest, agonizing death that the world will ever know of. She will be crying as everyone around her died and it's just her alone. From there…I'm going to enjoy torturing her a lot. She'll be screaming everyone's name that she ever cared about and she'll scream your name to even if you're dead. She'll be begging me to give her death, but I won't give it to her. I'll repeat the process until she's an empty shell of her former self and then I'll grant her death. From there…I might kill whoever I want and you can't do a thing." Kratos sneered as he raised his clawed hand and pointed it at Kai's chest.

He watched as Kai still made no movement thus making him scoff and smile insanely at him.

"Guess there's nothing you can do. Well…I'll just toy with your body until I go on with my plans." Kratos said as he tried to pierce Kai's chest

As he hand rushed to Kai's chest his wrist was instantly grabbed which shocked him. He then looked at Kai to see the Spider glaring at him with Spider eyes of his own which shocked Kratos and before he could pull his hand away Kai kicked it tearing the limb right off of Kratos. The former Spider Prince shrieked in agony but was punched in the face that the sound of his skull cracking can be heard. His body the sped across the field landing on the ground and bouncing back to mid air like a pebble in water before crashing into a boulder creaking cracks on it. Kai gritted his teeth showing his sharpened his fangs and he glared at Kratos with the intent to kill.

"You just signed your own deathwish. Adding the spiders who are loyal to King Webs, The King himself, adding Silky who is nothing but an innocent child, and Willow…my girlfriend, My Lover, MY FUTURE WIFE INTO YOUR TWISTED, SADISTIC SENTENCE IS UNFORGIVABLE!" Kai screamed

A dark crimson red colored aura exploded around Kai showing how much anger he has released after what he heard.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU KRATOS!" Kai shouted.

(On a Cliffside not to far from the "About to be" battle ground)

An all to familiar Shadowling stared down on the cliffside as he saw the aura radiating from Kai's body. He watched the battle without any source of emotion radiating through his eyes that were visible from his mask.

"Kratos you are one pathetic fool. Even if the boy is weaker then you, you still don't know the determination that he has in him. That's why this boy will kill you and I wouldn't give a dam for a piece of trash like you." Raike said.

He then turned around slightly to see someone behind him before looking back on the battle field. The figure then approached the cloaked-mask wearing Shadowling and placed a pair of hands on his shoulder which he didn't bother to move.

"If he fails…may I kill him…Master Raike?" The figure said in a female voice which sounded very rasp yet held a psychotic like tone to it.

Raike made no attempt to look at the female figure behind him but simply replied.

"Yes you may." Raike said without any care.

Author's Note: I don't need to explain what happens next. You should all figure what's going to happen. Though who is this mysterious new person that is beside Raike? These questions will be answered so stay tuned to find out Royal Guys and Gals!
