Hey guys! I seem to have gotten reviews that say that this is too scary. Review so I can see what your opinion is. Anyways, the 'thing" that happened is finally here! Do not fear, I'm already working on Part 2 of "What Happened?". I hope you enjoy and for those who are creeped out, it's only going to get better!
P.S.
That last part where Mikey told Donnie that "he liked his eyes" was not meant to be a cliche yaoi scene! I promise it was meant to clarify that even though he hated what he and his brothers did to him all those years ago, he still knew him and loved him (AS A BROTHER!).
Chapter 13: What Happened?
Raphael: I couldn't make my self-wake up, or open my eyes. I wasn't sure anymore. Then I felt a extremely sharp needle get stabbed at my temple.
I was pretty sure I shrieked out in pain. I was sure I did, but I just didn't hear it. Then, the biggest tiredness washed over me bringing a flood of memories back which explained EVERYTHING.
Donatello: After what seemed like hours of crying, and sincerely feeling horrible about the whole Mikey-incident, I noticed that the same memory kept replaying on the monitor.
That's when I decided I should record it and save it onto my computer willing to ask Sensei about it later. I'm not the one to intrude, but after seeing this he had a lot to explain. And if he didn't, we would make him. Trust me, there are things that were meant to be told…
Nine Years Ago…
"Pleaseeeeee?" whined a six year old Leonardo at his stubborn adoptive rat-father.
"Yeah sensei. We're big boys now!" added a small Raphael crossing his overconfident arms against his chest.
"I promise I'll bring my first aid kit." Said a tall-for-his-age Donatello raising his right hand, promising what he said.
"Yeah!" little Mikey replied, pumping up his arm encouragingly.
"Boys this is the twelfth time I say it and I will continue to say it, no you cannot go explore in the sewers." Master Splinter said calmly but firmly while dumping the last of the chopped carrots into the boiling soup.
When he turned around he was met with four small mutated turtles on their knees and begging eyes. He took a long sigh of defeat. "Fine, but return before dinner," but before he could finish four little pairs of arms gave him hugs at about his legs.
"Thanks sensei, bye sensei!" they all chanted in unison, and just as fast as they embraced him they left.
"BE CAREFUL!" he shouted at them. He sighed like a parent would on their child's first ever day of school. "I love you." He whispered to his sons indirectly.
He then returned to his inner peace meditation and training. He was so engrossed in his activities he lost track of time. He looked at his clock. It was fifteen minutes past dinner time.
He would go in search of his sons, but the sewage system was far too diverse. If he did go in search for them it would be like chasing each other in a game of tag in a maze. Instead he decided to practice his vibe receiving meditation exercise, to see or feel what his sons were doing to make sure they were alright and on their way home.
He breathed in deeply and slowly, and exhaled relaxing his muscles. He then commenced the procedure. It took him a while to receive whatever it was to be received. When he began to pick up signals from one of his sons his head filled with worry and it began to throb.
"Ah…" he grunted in pain as he put a grip on his head. This process of meditation was complicated and it was straining his brain. He took a deep breath and commenced again. The images began to flood into his head.
"Leo, no!" Raphael yelled as his brother fell to the ground injured by some robot warrior prototype.
"There are more of them coming from behind us!" Donnie warned as tall men and women in white lab coats and clipboards.
"Well, well. What have we got here?" a tall bald man with an eye patch, nuclear guns on both sides of his belt, lots of face piercings, black leather clothing, long thin braided beard, and a wild smirk on his face approached with several henchman approached with cages the size of huge dog crates followed.
"No! No! Get away from my sons!" Splinter shouted, still in the trance.
"Uh, guys what do we do?!" a little, terrified, sobbing Mikey cried while gripping onto Raphael's arm. Raphael rubbed his little head while embracing him protectively.
"It's all going to be alright, just you watch." Raphael answered while offering him a weak smile and a confident glint in his brown eyes, which were on the verge of tears.
Splinter, still in his trance, stumbled across the lair trying to find his way to his sons.
"Donnie, go help Leo, immediately!" Raphael shouted at him, taking charge. He had always been their kind-of leader. Donnie breathing in the sobs nodded, wiping his tears grabbed his first aid kit and squirted water onto Leo's face for him to wake up.
"Doctor Hedeinburg, as soon as you give us your orders we will proceed." The bald guy with piercings respectfully offered.
"Hmm, Gregorious, will your men have trouble carrying all four turtles?" The man known as Dr. Hedeinburg asked.
"I believe not sir."
"Good, then proceed."
"No, you will not have my sons!" Master Splinter shouted as he made his way past the robotic army in a flash with his mad ninja skills. He then opened his eyes and exited the trance that led him to his sons.
"Sensei!" Mikey shouted in semi delight as he ran into his father's arms.
"There's also a mutated rat?!" one of the other scientists asked aloud as he and the others scribbled somethings down on their clipboards.
"Donatello, Raphael, carry your brother!" Splinter shouted over his shoulder as he began running down the sewer system back home.
"But, sensei," Donatello said as he and Raphael grunted pulling up their injured brother. "He's far too heavy!" But, Splinter was far gone with Mikey.
"It's okay Donnie, I know he's heavy, but we're family and we'll make it!" Raphael said looking up at his younger brother with an encouraging smile on his lips. Something in Raphael's brown comforting eyes made Donatello believe they could.
They picked him up and began running as fast as their turtle legs let them. As soon as they caught up to Master Splinter and there was no sight of their stalkers, they took a breath.
"Sensei, it could've been dangerous that you left me and Donatello to fend for ourselves with Leo on our backs." Raphael politely pointed out.
"That is not what matters now my son." He replied, just as Raphael was going to argue Mikey began wailing.
"SHHH! Mikey if you keep crying like that, we're going to get found!" Donatello quickly scolded.
"What happened Mikey? Are you okay? Did you get hurt?" Raphael quickly asked going over to wipe the tears off his baby brother's face.
"No, it's we left Master Splinter's only photo of his daughter over there! Remember the surprise present?"
Mater Splinter's face went cold.
"Whose idea was this?!" Splinter asked, now angry. Raphael nervously raised his hand.
"Go get it."
"What…? But sensei-"
"No, go get it!"
"Sensei if Raphael goes over there again, he'll get captured, or…or…killed!" Donatello exclaimed.
"He shouldn't have had taken my picture then."
"Sensei, you have got to be crazy!" Leo shouted groggily as he woke up. "He's your son!"
"I no longer sense them, it's perfectly safe for him to go retrieve the photo."
Raphael's bottom lip began to quiver but he obeyed. But, before he could run out of sight two of Gregorious' henchmen got a hold of Raphael.
The head scientist, Dr. Hedeinburg, approached.
"It doesn't matter if you cannot get the rest, one will be enough for the tests." He said calmly and demanding.
"Let go of me you disgusting," but Raphael was instantly cut off when they gagged him.
"Raphael, my son!" Master Splinter shouted as he began running towards Raphael, but was immediately stopped when one of the robots snuck behind him and electrocuted him.
"AH!" Splinter screamed in pain. The sewers echoed with Mikey's wails, Donnie and Leo's sobs, Splinter's screams, and Raphael's muffled grunts.
Raphael, even though he was still young, was still the strongest of the four. He managed to kick both of them to get free. He began running towards Master Splinter's open arms with tears of fear and triumph.
Then out of nowhere Dr. Hedeinburg pulled out what seemed to be a chemical shooting gun.
"I will not lose my months of research over a petty family get together." Dr. Hedeinburg said with a terrifying coolness.
Raphael, trying to figure out what was happening turned around for half a second while running and tripped face up.
"No!" Splinter shouted.
"Yes." Hedeinburg replied.
"I'm sorry young mutated turtle, or whatever your name is, but this is going to hurt, and you may end up blind." Hedeinburg added. Before Raphael could ask, or Splinter react, Hedeinburg shot the bright green chemical into Raphael's eyes.
"AAAAAAAAAAUUUGHHHHH!" the pained burning wails of a six year old resonated throughout the sewage pipes. "MY EYES FEEL LIKE THEY'RE MELTING- AHHHHH!"
Tears and hatred on Splinter's face, he fled with his three sons as the robotic and hench men army advanced on them more. Leonardo kicked and wailed and tried to wiggle free.
"RAPHHHH! NO, NO, NO, LET ME GO- RAPH!" Leonardo screamed. Donatello carried Michelangelo in his arms as they both cried silently.
Splinter ran back home with rivers of tears rushing behind him. His one most obedient son was taken.
